Let's start out by saying this place is magical. I have been here enough to be a pseudo expert. The staff is always exemplary and well dressed. Th food is top notch and leaves you feeling warm and satisfied. The ambience is unmatched. This gives you a feeling of relaxation and calm. The apple pancakes are gigantic which I find normally negatively correlates with quality, but not here. We tried out the Oak Table this morning and it was breakfast heaven. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. My husband asked about the fruit blintz as he had never had one before. Our waitress asked if he would like to try the filling and then brought him a sample. As soon as we tried it we were sold. My husband ordered the raspberry blintz (the daily special), I ordered the French style italiano omelet and our kids the chocolate chip pancakes from the kids menu. Everything was delicious. The kids received 5 small pancakes with whipped butter and dusted with powdered sugar, which they loved. The raspberry blintz was to die for and we all helped eat it. My omelet (sausage, spinach and I added Swiss) was so fluffy and light but so filling. My dish also came with three pancakes that were wonderful, very light but also a little sweet and creamy. Yes, the food was good and the portions were huge; and I can't complain about the service. However, the place is very loud and the tables are crowded together. Large groups of people and waiters constantly bumping against your chair and whizzing by. So, get a booth if you can and bring earplugs. My husband and I visited this place on the way out of Sequim. Even though we had to wait a little bit, every second spent waiting was so worth it. From the moment we walked into the cafe, the staff was very polite and accommodating. The dining area is spacious and comfortable, and we were immediately delivered waters and menus as we were seated. (Bonus points for the water!) After reading over the cornucopia of delightful food offered on the menu, we finally decided on the "Meat and Eggs" meal. I added the Georgia pecans to my pancakes, and my husband added bacon to his. They were both incredible! The thick sliced bacon was superb, and the eggs were so fresh and light. What makes this place so unforgettable is not only the flavor of the food, but the fact that everything is organic and freshly made every day. The food was a million times better than IHOP or any other breakfast chain I've ever tried (which is a large number- from many states). The price of our meal honestly was not bad at all and actually less than or equal to what we would be elsewhere for an average processed breakfast. Would we go here again to pleasure our taste buds? This place serves nothing but the best. Every bite is decadent and worth every calorie. I have visited both the Kingston and Sequim location. They pay great attention to detail. The coffee, the cream (I usually use milk but could not resist their cream - so fresh it is like they just milked a cow. I recommend anything on their menu. I opted for a french baked mushroom omelet with sherry sauce. Delicious. Their potato pancakes are also wonderful. Server staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive. This place was a miss for me. The decor is nice but the food is terrible unless you stick to just a simple fried egg and toast. I ordered the peach blintzes and got a plate where they literally poured a quart of syrupy canned peaches on top. I couldn't eat the mess. Another time I tried Eggs Benedict and the again they over poured the sauce the eggs were swimming in Hollandaise that was an awful mix anyway and the eggs were under cooked. read more

The thought crossed my mind that I'd be willing to go back again for breakfast which is saying a lot because I live 2 hours away. Best breakfast ever! No matter what time of day we go, I always have the same thing...Eggs Nicole. I can't help it, I've never wanted to try anything else. This has to be my favorite dish ever. It's super rich and full of calories I'm sure, and I can usually only eat a portion of it, but it's so worth it. Worth making the trip to Sequim alone for the breakfast. Somehow we've always missed this place when in Sequim previously, probably because it is about a half block off Washington Street. We are very happy we found it, and we ate breakfast there twice during a recent trip. The first day we shared an apple pancake (yummy!) and each got a side of bacon (better than average). I cannot imagine one person eating an apple pancake by themselves. It's basically a plate-sized soufflé. For our second day there, I got the crab benedict (substituting sliced tomatoes for the potatoes without problem), and my husband got the ham/swiss omlette with pancakes. I loved the OTC 2 years ago - and continue to LOVE this restaurant. We walked into a decked out restaurant, literally decked out with beautiful holiday decorations. for seating, there is a front room and a back room. Both nice. We like the back area as there are lots of windows facing the street, plus the pretty Xmas tree adorn with decorations was right there in the middle of the room. Okay back to the greeting - we felt so welcomed, and acknowledged right away, were seated where we liked, and coffee in a minute. They even had soy milk available for the hot chocolate! Servers were friendly professional and fast! Our brunch we ordered the Walla Walla scramble - yummy WW onions, sausage with a side of yummy pancakes. We also shared smoked salmon eggs benedict, wish I ordered two. I was in heaven. Okay - I normally don't get so sappy when writing a review - but I was so pleasantly surprised by every experience we had the Oak Table. And, parking free, street parking readily available. (Can you tell I come from the city) The furnishings are traditional and comfortable and all clean. WE were happy diners. I stopped by to thank the chefs - and they were in the open window - all smiling - everyone here is happy! The restaurant also had cute little gifts to buy, lavender items and little stuffed bunny's, wish I would have purchased. I really like this breakfast/lunch spot in Sunny Sequim. read more

Excellent food and service! We ate there as a party of 9 people (including 4 children) just 30 mins prior to them closing. They welcomed us in, gave excellent service, and were humorous and professional while doing so. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal there and will definitely go again! read more
