Based on yelp I ordered the bbq brisket on a pretzel bun with a side of sweet potato fries and fountain drink. I was curious about the Agua fresco but was glad I didn't order it because when I was getting my drink (coke by default) at...

the machine someone was sampling the Agua Fresca then went to fill the rest of her cup after that with coke, so I guess the first option didn't suit her taste. Servers were very friendly bringing out the food at the table next to us and with us. The brisket we had wasn't as good as I had expected (meat was not that good, but the sauce masked it okay.) pretzel bun was okay, nothing amazing. All in all ok experience.

Haven't been here in a couple years and decided to stop by since it's one of the few remaining food spots left in the lb town center. So glad we did. I had a southwest chicken sandwich and my daughter had the chicken tenders and fries. They even let us try the mac and cheese but decided to stick with the fries. My daughter I shared a cookies and cream shake and it hit the spot because it was so hot today. Service was fast and friendly. Very clean inside and not to crowded during lunch on a weekday.

Great food, fast friendly service. The location by the movie theater is great. We order our food, get movie tickets then relax to enjoy our order. The complimentary pickles are tart & refreshing. The tuna salad, great proportion, fresh salad, tuna nicely cooked, not fishery.

I came for my favorite Southwest Chicken Sandwich. I love that it has black beans, guacamole, corn, red onion, and tortilla strips. In order to make it true Southwestern, it requires Hatch. Dainara was very kind and thorough during my visit and I racked up a few Stand points using the app.

For the third consecutive year, I've been put into a position where I've had to organize a catered lunch for a group of 10 to 20 people at work. Not wanting to choose one of the two eateries I chose each of the past two years, I went with The Stand to see if I can give them the 4th star that I've been trying to give them for the past year or two. The final verdict? No, unfortunately. This year, I was in a rather unique situation where I also had the option to double my party size, and The Stand had catering packages that would feed both party sizes: The Feast for 10 to 20 people, and The Big Feast for 20 to 40 people. But don't think The Big Feast is twice the size of The Feast; rather, the only difference is an additional platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps. Otherwise, both will have a platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps, a large gourmet salad, a large side, and a cookie/brownie platter. After much deliberation, I went with The Feast with Meyer Lemon Broccolini and a Sidekick of Chinese Chicken Chop Salad with Chips & Guac. I chose all this to avoid the need for flameless heating kits since I wasn't sure how they'd work. I was drafting an email to the catering team to add some supplementary instructions I overlooked initially, but after the FIRST15 to 20 minutes following submission of my order, Sydney from the Catering team gave me a call to ask for clarification on some details based on my email communication. Really appreciate how punctual she was at this, and she was happy enough to send out an updated invoice. However, I learned from Sydney that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini would need a flameless heating kit even though the catering website did not mention that. In fact, during my email communication prior to placing my order, I pointed out that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini and Red Ginger Green Beans weren't listed as vegetarian despite being vegetables, and they confirmed they were indeed vegetarian, but not vegan. I noticed these oversights were immediately addressed after I brought them to their attention. However, their website still indicates their cookies are vegan when they are not; I'm not going to bother with another email at this point lol. I had given them two weeks' notice for my order, knowing that the catering team can change it on their end. I didn't want just one flameless heating kit, so I decided to switch out the Chips & Guac for the Mac & Cheese, which is about $13 more. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, and I saw my catering order out in the open on a table where any customer could just grab it and go. Luckily, there were only a few customers inside, and when I stopped by my order, Kim came out to greet me. We recognized each other even 8 to 9 months after those technical difficulties spelled out in my last review update. I asked her to review my order with me before leaving, but when she said "Chips & Guac", the abstract record in my mind came to a screeching halt. I asked to see the invoice, and it was the older version from before I made the switch. I later found out they had printed my invoice too early even though their catering team said I could decide as late as the day before. Luckily, Kim checked the kitchen and needed only about 5 more minutes for the side of mac & cheese to be ready. She also let me keep the chips & guac even though she initially said she could swap it out, so that was nice at least. I also appreciate how they waited until my arrival to make a custom grilled cheese sandwich for my vegetarian guest, who enjoyed said sandwich. I also asked to put that guest's name on the box so I could tell easily. However, my abstract record cacophonously halted again when Kim asked me to pull up to the front door so they could load my order into my car. I had parked close by and previously requested for at least one employee to help me carry my order to my car. Also, I didn't want to block the right lane of the frontage road through the town center, so Kim and a team member helped carry the order to my car. My guests enjoyed the food for the most part, and I used this opportunity to invite them to visit The Stand with their family/friends on their own time (and dime lol). My order included an abundance of sauces and dressings, and I also appreciate how there were label stickers on each half sandwich/wrap in the platter. However, I would highly recommend a different means of labeling these sandwiches/wraps. As an example, I tried to grab a Chimichurri Steak Wrap only to find out it was actually a Falafel Wrap, which was the only vegetarian option in the platter. Good thing I got my vegetarian guest that grilled cheese sandwich! Lastly, if you've managed to make it to the end of this review, I'll let you know there's a discount code for customers placing a catering order for the first time. You actually read it in this review somewhere. Missed it? Sorry, I'm not giving it out like that. You'll have to re-read the review :)

Visited The Stand for a burger and it was delicious! I ordered the Havarti Shroom burger and I enjoyed that they added plenty of sauce, cooked to my preference, and loved the bun. They have many sauces you can choose from, which is always a plus for me. I wasn't paying attention but this burger does not come with lettuce, tomato, etc., so I would ask for that to be added next time. They have really great pickles that are packaged, in a plastic container, at the counter for you to grab. You do have to ask for napkins as they are not out anywhere and don't come with your meal, which was very odd to me. Service was fast and friendly and I would visit again!

I would give it 4.5 stars if that was an option because I generally like this place. I usually get the chimichurri steak salad (which I love) but deviated today and grabbed the Cobb Salad. I liked the Cobb salad except I didn't understand why they dumped so much red cabbage in it. The rest of the salad ingredients were pretty balanced except the exorbitant amount of red cabbage. I had to rate it as a 4 due to this visit. It was not fun having to pick out half of the salad. Their flavors of their special drinks rotate and today they had the blueberry lemonade and cucumber & mint aqua Fresca. We're a fan of the blueberry lemonade. Service was great. They bus the table. We grabbed a table that was freshly vacated so it was still dirty. There were no problems flagging an employee down to help us wipe it. I didn't catch his name but he was very kind throughout our entire visit as he checked on us. This place can get very busy. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was 86 degrees today so we opted for indoor seating. Because it is an open concept, it can get pretty loud when it's packed. If you have kids that are easily overstimulated, I would recommend bringing some sort of noise cancelling headphones. They premix the dressing on all the salads. So if you like to control your own dressing be sure to ask for it on the side. They usually have some special burger on rotation. On this visit they had a red curry chicken sandwich. It looked good and I was intrigued. Overall it's a good place to grab some lunch or dinner and maybe her to Dave & Busters next door.

Piri-Piri Chicken Bowl BBQ Brisket on a Pretzel Roll

My lady and I wanted to go to Dave & Busters to watch one of the World Cup games but couldn't get a table because of the crowd. Luckily, The Stand was right next door and they had a bunch of TVs. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice. We got the bbq brisket sandwich and the piri piri chicken bowl. Nice little 'sports bar-esque' place.

I must've been living under a rock -- this was my first time at The Stand, and I was seriously surprised at how good it was. I ordered the curry chicken sandwich and wow... it was packed with layers of flavor! A perfectly spicy kick, a big juicy chicken breast, crispy fried onions, basil for and added layer, and the most delicious curry sauce. So good. I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. The guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful. I was a little hesitant about the spice level, but he reassured me I'd like it -- and he was absolutely right. Plenty of seating both inside and outside, with a relaxed, casual dining vibe. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

My husband had the stand Burger and I have the curry chicken burger lettuce wrap. Service was very friendly and very fast. It's very clean and the restaurant and clean bathrooms. They bring the food to you after you order and they also clear your table. The best thing I love is that unlimited and less variety of sauces that you can get for your fries and your burger I really love that. My curry chicken sandwich was delicious my husband's Burger was also delicious this is a great place I can't wait to come back love it here

Chain of fast food restaurants, serving up very common set of food categories, with higher end prices, but having unusual varieties executed very well. My wife and I were going to see an early movie screening at the Regal Edwards in Long Beach Towne Center, and decided to stop in here for an early dinner before the show (Towne Center has plenty of parking). Got some good recommendations from friend reviews, so knew what we wanted. It's a fast food set-up, where you order and pay after standing a queue (no self-serve kiosk that I could see). They will deliver the food to you (given a numbered table tent that you bring back to your table). It was delivered in 10 minutes, freshly prepared. Everything was excellent. French Onion Soup Burger ($13.25) - I'm a big fan of French Onion Soup, but finding most versions in restaurants to be very disappointing. And...gourmet burgers disappoint, in (almost) all cases making me wish for a classic backyard burger instead for a cheaper price. So with these two thoughts in my head, really lowered by expectations, even after a strong Yelp recommendation. It exceeded: It's the first time I've eaten a burger like a French Dip, dipping it in Au Jus before every bite, and it was marvelous. And with the Guruyere cheese and the gourmet hamburger bun, it WAS the taste of a really good french onion soup. The broth was good enough to be a soup by itself. Not really sure why this isn't more common in other gourmet restaurants. Chili Cheese Fries ($5.40) - the skin-on fries were perfectly deep-fried, and the beanless beef chili was plentiful. Very filling, shareable across two for even the regular size. WIsh there was more shredded cheese, or even go overboard and suggesting to use nacho cheese instead (my personal preference). Strawberry Shake ($6.50) - with real whipped cream, my wife and I both immediately agreed this was near the top of strawberry shakes we've had, better than other fast casual places that specialize in it (Johnny Rocket's or Steak and Shake). It obviously used real ice cream, and the strawberry flavor wasn't overpowering (which makes me think strawberry syrup wasn't used). And the thick (tasted freshly whipped) cream just brought it over the top. And a simple thing like giving a boba straw is a nice touch. Weirdly, there are signs stating that employees will bus, even though it is set-up for self-bussing (which is what we and others did). Soda drinks are self-serve, allowing us to refill our small water glasses multiple times. They also have a pretty large beer and wine menu, with 'The Stand' branded choices (at slightly lower prices of course). If you download and sign up via their custom phone app, you will be given enough points for a free order of their excellent fries. 'The Stand' took over the space of a big restaurant before, so there is a lot of seating especially out in the big gated patio. There are a ton of other items on the menu that we will try in the future when in the area, on a day when my wife is a bit more hungry.

If you're looking for a good fast casual burger spot, The Stand has you covered. They have a good selection of burgers (will cook them medium), sandwiches, salads, and bowls plus some great side options! I tried the jalapeno bacon burger which was very good and the meyer lemon broccoli rabe which was honestly a game changer in fast food vegetables! Service is fast and friendly.

I craved Stand onion rings so I decided to go to have signature burger w onion rings for early dinner. First, the service and quality were same. Second, so clean. The price changed a little higher but still good for the quality, service, and ambiance. Onion rings are always super crunchy, what is top secret of crunchyness at the Stand???? Love it dipping spicy honey mustard. The stand burger was same. The bun was so good, all the ingredients were fresh, tasted better w xtra cheddar cheese $1. My hubby's black beer called dark star, was almost Guiness beer taste. He loved it. Beer is $7.50. We love the Stand for the quality, fresh ingredients, and great service. I got more app rewards to redeem next time...plus discount promo coupon. Great deal!!!

Food tastes so fresh. The service is great. I love when the employees know the menu and what to suggest for your visit. It builds a trust factor. I also enjoyed the seating options inside and out. It's a cool stop on a sunny day. Plenty of parking. Anytime you're in the neighborhood and want a variety of great food to choose from you should definitely stop by. read more

As an update to my review of 4/5/24, We have once again been disappointed. We so wanted to continue to give 4-5 stars as we originally reported when The Stand opened. Staffed modestly, staff seems to turn over quite a bit, and there is a general lack of interest by them toward customers. The one thing that keeps us coming back are the burgers, which have a wonderful selection of dresssings and ingredients and a very delicious patty. But we have noticed that with a new cook every couple of weeks, the patties this last trip ordered medium well and medium rare were both just past rare. Not the first time this has happened. I had a BOGO coupon sent to me on their app but because I had used one a couple of months ago they said I could no longer use them. EVER. Wait, what? EVER? Why do they send them to me then? They have all my info, and that I have a credit of 410 points in my rewards account, Why send a coupon if you won't honor it after the first one has been redeemed? Previously, We had another coupon, same BOGO but the app would not open at all...just came up to the home page and sat there. The cashier asked if it was a BOGO and she put it in manually but no points on the other food we bought (drinks, fries, etc). She said the next time we came in they could fix it. The next week I asked about it and they said it could not be fixed. I went online and it says if you don't get your points, send a photo of the receipt along with a request and they will issue the points, no problem. So I used THEIR link, submitted it, and no response, ever. That was a couple of months ago. From eating there every Wednesday, we have cut it down significantly, and if this downward spiral continues, we will eventually leave altogether. There is no sense that any management is on duty, ever. It seems like they just hired a bunch of kids and have turned them loose. It is a shame. read more

This business recently opened in the LongBeach Towncenter and it was advertised quite extensively. You would think there would be more than one person at the cash register, but there was only one and there were two empty cash registers. That would have been fine but it was fairly busy. On top of that they needed more menus, either placed along the wall while customers waited or laminated menus at the beginning of the line, which by the way, wasn't clear when we entered. The two salads we ordered were very good and just one order would have filled us up. My only complaint is that they need a better dressing for the Chinese chicken salad. I did notice that they were giving out chip samples to only the customers that dined in. I envision this place doing well because it would be a great place after going to the movies. I repeat, with only one cash register operational the service was indeed slower. read more

My family really enjoyed this place. I love the build your own type of burger restaurant. Everything tasted great. My wife and I got to the Havarti Mushroom Burger. The sauce was excellent. The ingredients were flavorful. The fries were cooked well, outside crispy and inside soft. Plenty of gluten free options which is important for us. The gluten free bun was definitely one of the better ones. Excited to return. read more

Arrived on a Saturday night to a mostly empty restaurant. Waited some time before even being seen at the register. Order was a simple 3 hotdogs, one of those having ketchup as a topping. Waited an additional 20 mins or so and received 2 ketchup hot dogs and one plain. The exact reverse of our order. The hot dogs itself were okay (for a $7 hot dog). I am willing to give this place one more chance when I'm in the area as perhaps this was an off night. read more

The food was delicious -- we had the grilled cheese short rib sandwich, and my husband loved the hot dogs with all the toppings. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. - extra points for the free home made potato chips made fresh every morning. Quite a find! read more

I'm almost afraid to say it out loud but here goes nothing, "As Good As Advertised!". I've always been baffled by restaurants that spend a fortune on build outs and then fall flat with their food. That did not happen here. A Great, fair priced, well presented hamburger. It's about time! About the only negative I could say is that the fries were Not great, not awesome but just OK. That's it. I'll be back to work my way through the menu. read more

Noticed a new food eatery in the plaza and wanted to check it out. They were closed on New Year's Day when I tried to give them a try so I went today. The restaurant was clean and the customer service was great! Our cashier was a young lady who was patient and kind. On the counter were their sample chips to try out. The menu has a diverse spread of American classics . The blueberry lemonade was delicious as well as the chips, and in house made pickles - these were the first items I tried while waiting for my food upon dining in. Onion rings and fries were good but the standouts were the burgers! The ABC and Big Blue were OUTSTANDING with the ABC being our favorite. Saint was especially helpful making sure our food was up to par and that we had sufficient to go boxes. He was also kind enough to give us a coupon for our next visit and had great promotion and publicity for the restaurant asking for online feedback and reviews to let others know since the establishment is new to the area. It's exciting to have a local eatery who knows how to do simple classics right- because not every restaurant can. I will be back for sure- excited to try out a milkshake and chili dog on my next visit. read more

We are thrilled the Stand has come to Long Beach. Went today and had amazingly friendly and helpful service from Shawnee - who is a delight. Had the Onion Soup Burger, fries and Ahi Tuna Salad. All were delicious. Fresh ingredients, quality you can appreciate. Used left over Onion soup dip for the fries as well - it is too good to waste. Then ordered the Short Rib melted cheese sandwich for later. Plan on coming back soon. Nice outdoor seating - spacious and comfortable. Like the whole lay out of this place. Signed up for the app and got a BOGO entree - which was unexpected and made the meal a sweeter deal. They also were sampling their homemade yukon gold potato chips which are surprisingly good . Will be back soon. read more

HOT DAMN. Tried The Stand a week ago I have been back three times now. The food is outstanding. The service even better. This is now the go to spot for my family and I. The Ahi Tuna Salad is off the chain bomb dot com. I am going to try everything on their menu. If I could give 10 stars I would. 5 stars doesn't give enough justice. read more

The cheese burger was delicious just what I was looking for. We also had the onions rings which hit the spot. I ordered a strawberry shake it wasn't very good it tasted like they did not use real ice cream or so artificial flavors it had a funny flavor . However we will return for the burgers. read more

First time customer. Way over priced!! Ordered the brisket to go. Was terrible!! Fatty and all fluff. Very little meat for $18 (including tip). Mostly coleslaw. Total rip off! It might be popular now because it's new, but time will catch up to it. Would never go back. Management did nothing to try and rectify it. Rather go to Red Robin and pay less and get bottomless fries or what you desire for a side that comes with your burger! read more

Surprisingly good burgers and you can build your own! Sweet potato fries were good too! The employees were nice. We didn't have to wait too long even though there were a lot of people. I will say that the cookies and cream milkshake had too many Oreo pieces... I felt like I was eating more Oreos than actually drinking. Would definitely come back. read more

I decided to give this restaurant one more try and I'm happy I did. These are some of the expectations you shall look forward to upon entering the restaurant. You will be greeted by the entire staff. There is ample seating both in or out door dining. If you want to see sporting events I recommend you sit inside. There are multiple TV's for your entertainment. Expect the restaurant to be clean. I noticed multiple employees involved with the cleanliness and up keep of of the entire restaurant. Now let's talk about the most important item, "The Food". During my first review I mentioned that I was looking for a great burger here in Long Beach. Well, look no more. I decided to order The Stand Burger no cheese and onion rings. Again the presentation was on point but more importantly, the burger was delicious. The onion rings were crispy on the outside and the onion was fresh in the middle. I've been here a couple times now and it hasn't disappointed yet. The first time, I got their basic burger, and it was very good, but the second time I got the Havarti Shroom Burger and it was absolutely glorious. This is why I won't build my own burger, because I would never think of putting jalapeño in this burger but it totally worked and made it better. I placed a catering order with Sydney in the corporate office and I also worked with Felipe, who is an on-site manager and they were both fantastic. When I arrived, Felipe greeted me with warmth and even offered to help me to my car with the bags. It's very hard to find such excellent customer service these days and it really stands out. I told the doctors and their team where I got the burgers which they loved and they googled the location and also will be going back since their practice is local to this place. The location is very attractive and easy to park, which was an additional bonus! I really appreciate Sydney being detailed with the order to make sure everything was right and that I made my presentation on time even from being far away and Felipe who also made sure that everything was taken care of even making himself available to take an earlier call from when they opened the store which stood out to me! The Thai curry sea bass was flavorful, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. The cioppino had a rich shellfish flavor in the broth and I appreciated that the tomato base didn't have such an acidic taste. We also shared the tomahawk, which was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had a sprinkle of coarse salt that really brought out the flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent, but Nate's service really made our night special, making us feel right at home.

They eventually seated us, but it was all the way in the back of the restaurant where we had to ask for the candles and fire place to be lit Because of that, it took a while for our server to get to us, and our drinks took longer than expected to arrive. That said, our waitress was absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive, and the highlight of our visit. She provided excellent service despite the circumstances and definitely deserves five stars. As we were getting seated, the hostess asked if we had been informed that they were having issues with their roof and that their barbecue was out of service. We had not been told anything about this prior to arriving. As a result, the menu was extremely limited, with no steaks or burgers available. This was especially frustrating because those were the main reasons our group chose this restaurant. Had we been notified ahead of time, we would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether we still wanted to dine there or make reservations elsewhere. To make matters even more disappointing, we were there celebrating my birthday. It seemed like the restaurant either forgot or there was a miscommunication, because the birthday dessert wasn't brought out until after we had already received the bill. It made the celebration feel like an afterthought, which was disappointing on what was supposed to be a special occasion. Overall, the service from our waitress was outstanding, but the lack of communication and poor handling of the situation by the host staff really impacted our experience. The fancy pizza was average (3 stars), chicken piccata was great (5 stars), while the appetizers were good (4 stars) and the wines by the glass were very overpriced coming from someone in the wine business. Unfortunately, the disappointing start, limited menu, and overlooked birthday celebration made this visit fall far short of our expectations.

The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

I showed up around 5pm and sure enough there was already a line forming in front of the restaurant. I imagine some other people were not as prepared and asked a lot of questions at the counter which can make the wait time even longer for other people in line. We ordered caesar salad, pizza focaccia with soppressata, squid ink tonnerelli, and ribeye tagliata. We also ordered some glasses of wine. After ordering, they walked us to our table inside. This location used to be a bbq restaurant- shady grove- before they closed down. And wow I was so impressed by the change of the patio vibe. It looked way nicer now under Due Fuori. I truly believe the vibe of a restaurant is equally important to the quality of the food, and this place nailed it. Also, apparently you can still order more stuff even after you're seated. They don't really have dedicated server for each table but the service was pretty efficient in my opinion. Now the food, everything was delicious, I have no notes! Caesar salad, very good. Pizza, omg amazing. And I'm not a pizza kinda person, so this is really a compliment! It's the thick kind of pizza, and they put some honey on it too which makes it even more delicious to me. Next was the squid ink pasta, another delightful dish. My only complaint is that it's not big enough of a portion, haha! The ribeye tagliata was so good. It was served with some salad that's very refreshing. The server explained to us that the original dish comes with the greens and cherry tomatoes underneath the meat, but they serve it separately to keep the freshness and crunch. The meat has some nice crust on the outside, very flavorful. We ended up taking some of the ribeye home, as we were already really full. It was plenty of food to share between two people. I definitely will come back to try other dishes, especially the other popular pasta dishes. This place has been really popular and I heard the line is still long even after a few months (or maybe it has been a year now?). Top teir customer service! While they've just opened, I'm optimistic that their stellar service will endure. The entire staff made sure to check on us multiple times, ensuring our contentment. Kudos to Roxy, who went above and beyond by swapping our lukewarm fries for fresh ones without us asking - talk about service with a smile! I opted for the tuna melt, quite good, and my boyfriend had the ahi tuna sandwich, a mutual delight. However, stealing the spotlight were undeniably the sweet potato crosscut fries! Our choice of Paloma frozen drinks turned out to be unexpectedly strong and delicious. During their opening week, we were treated to complimentary small chips and pickles, along with a delightful surprise - an orange ice cream soda float. Their in-house sauces, especially the aioli, were my personal favorites. I tried the ABC Burger at The Stand, and it was delicious! The patty cooked to a perfect medium with the avocado, bacon, and cheddar, was real satisfying. While the ingredients weren't particularly unique, there was something about the preparation or seasoning that really elevated the flavor. Aside from the burger, the onion rings were a standout, crispy and flavorful, especially with their ranch dressing. Speaking of dressings, The Stand offers a variety of sauces for dipping, with the jalapeño aioli being a personal favorite. They have typical self-serve fountain drinks and two lemonade options - blueberry lemonade and cucumber agua fresca. I didn't really care for any of those. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit, from assisting with ordering to promptly bussing tables. Updating review, management reached out immediately to remedy situation. Food was good, cold, but tasty. Takeout order, was told 15 minute wait, actual was over 30 minutes. Everyone around me complaining about the time. Worst of all, I was standing at the counter, saw our food boxed up and I asked for it and was given some excuse why it wasn't ready. Staff said the chef didn't tell her it was ready! I'm staring at the food, in tbe clear box, how is it not ready! Omg Never again, staff was so rude. read more
