It is very nice. It's similar to panda express but so much better. I really love the red braised pork belly, that was very tender, fatty and delicious. The peppered chicken was very tasty as well. They have different varieties of dishes to choose from that are really delicious and fresh and fresh. They also offer pickled radish, and chili sauce. The best part was the utensils and containers they provided. It's really cool and high-quality covers and lids. Everything was available at a self-service counter.. If you had leftovers, you could easily pack them up yourself without having to go to the front again to ask for a to-go box. Such a convenient and a unique idea. A plate for two entree was $10.99 ( with additional a dollar or $1.50 for braised pork belly and curry ) and $13.99 for a plate of three entree of choice.

Fast efficient service! :) I tried the vegetarian tofu, the fried rice, the eggplant string beans-- all were actually decently flavored and the fried rice not bad for fast food, def superior to a certain popular Chinese fast food chain imo. We enjoyed it and the Togo packages and bag, even the straws are such good quality! |[ n o t e s ]| I would suggest less oil in the dishes, more vegan/vegetarian options, and soup options to make this place more amazing. Cool new Chinese food concept with robotic woks and smaller side portions. You choose the different small plates you like so you can mix and match with others at the table vs panda etc that puts a combo all into one personal platter. Fresh Chinese favorites at Great prices with good consistent food. These guys may become a big competitor to panda and other quick service Asian chains.

I was hungry and near this place and as much as I don't like their 'No Cash' policy, I decided to eat here. I tried their pork belly with chow mien and their tiga cola chicken, the pork belly was excellent, tiga cola chicken was ok, I bought their 2 item bowl, I probably will try their rice with 1 entree next time. I was in the area and walked in as I thought that everything was made to order but it's not. It's basically a food to go place. I came at lunch time and it was pretty empty inside. Service was friendly. The store is large and clean inside, but the food in the case did not look appetizing, it looked like it was sitting for a long time. Since I was there, I got the orange chicken and the tomato egg, and a bit of the hot sauce condiment. The hot sauce was delicious. The orange chicken was not, it was 90% batter and had a burnt taste. The tomato egg was ok but not great. Not for me.

Super quick service when we went mid day on a week day. I've never been so I just copied what my friends got --pork and fried egg plant with great beans. It was good and filling and lasted me two lunches. Very similar to Panda Express imo but a little more expensive. A great option if you want a big bowl.

Tigawok is a pioneering "robot-powered" Americanized Chinese restaurant chain launched in 2024 in Los Angeles by founder Tomas Su (Sunright Tea Studio) and Kelvin Wang (Beijing Tasty House). Tigawok focuses on a quick-service, cafeteria style and mini-bowl approach where customers can try multiples smaller portions. Dishes are intentionally priced to be affordable and competitive with grocery prices, typically ranging between $3 and $7. I really like the mini bowl concept, perfect portions and reasonable price. However, food is mediocre, lacking in depth or complex, authentic flavors. The feel of the restaurant was modern, bright, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dishes are acceptable when I am looking for a quick meal but not one I would specifically go out of my way to find again.

Finished work and I was HUNGRY! My coworker told me to check out Tigawok and I did. I could tell by the people sitting outside that this place was popular. Very spacious and airy inside. I went to the sneezeproof counter and the server guided me through how to order. Got my proteins, veggies and other fun options. Paid and went to the refreshment beverage station to get my delicious drink. My food was amazing and I got to " people watch" people ordering their food in very comfy booths. This place is fun & tasty!

I was initially enticed by the fabulous mini bowls options featured on the website such as the wagyu beef curry, mapo tofu, soup dumplings, tiga cola chicken, sweet tomato and scrambled eggs, pepper kurobota pork...the list goes on. And the raving Yelp reviews drew me in. However, NONE of those items were available. Instead it is really more like Panda Express but more expensive & with even less options. I should've paid more attention to the recent reviews saying that the menu and concept has drastically changed in the past few weeks. The "mini bowls options specialist" claim is not a valid claim and the variety of food that's actually served is inconsistent with the Tigawok branding. I will say that the braised pork was tasty. But the honey walnut shrimp was overcooked and shriveled. I am still curious to try another location because the website menu options look so good! However, the Burbank location fails to meet the online expectations.

Smorgasbord style, Chinese fast food (the Chinese Chipotle). This place is super clean, modern and comfortable. We came in to sample a variety of items. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Tiga Wagyu Curry, Braised Pork & Wagyu Beef Rice Bowl, Egg Fried Rice, Chow Mein and some White Rice. This is not gourmet, but it's good, and very reasonably priced. The total order came to only $31.00 Overall, the food was fine, but I was most impressed by the packaging. The to-go containers are all very sleek and the carry-out bags are well made and nicely decorated. Definitely the best packaging I've seen for food containers. This was a pleasant experience and I will be back again.

This was my second visit to Tigawok. This is a new addition to Burbank. They have been open for several months now. I passed by location several times, but finally got a chance to try them. For food, I can say food was yummy and delicious. I ordered orange chicken and another chicken bowl. I also tired the chow mein and rice. Food was really good and was fresh. No complaints about the food. I also tried the teas, I like that they were not too sweet. For service, staff who helped me were very nice and friendly. They were patient while I was taking my time deciding what to order. For ambiance, I can give this location ten stars. This store was very clean and well maintained. Fountain drinks area was very clean. I really liked the idea of reusable containers and choice of the containers. They offer reusable bags which is very nice. This store is very environmental friendly. For parking, I would say it's easy to find a parking spot since there are public parkings within walking distance.

Love the concept--small rice bowls that are super affordable and actually taste legit. You can mix and match a few dishes without feeling stuffed or spending a fortune. I had the Wagyu rice bowl, spicy beef, and the mapo tofu--everything was hot, flavorful, and came out super fast. You can tell they use good ingredients, and the robot kitchen setup is kind of cool. Perfect spot for a quick lunch or if you just want something different. Definitely a new go-to for me in Burbank. read more

This place is very yummy! The service here was fast and the workers were very friendly. The moment you walk in the place is very chic and clean. This place can be for both sit down or great for to go order. They have high chairs that make it kid friendly. The parking is located in a parking garage in the back that has 3hr free parking. We visited Tigawok for dinner. We ordered multiple mini bowls. Curry wagyu, cola chicken, mapo tofu and eggplant green beans. Service was good and they provide samples. Restaurant was very clean and simple. They serve a good portion in the mini bowls. For one person a base and a mini bowl would satisfy anyones appetite. I went to Tigawok for the first time 2-10-26 And boy do I got a lot to say. First off with food, I got chow mein, fried rice, and spicy basil chicken. The food itself tasted higher quality than expected considering it was made by robots. Next service: When I walked in I was pleasantly greeted by this young lady reanna and she walked me through this new experience... even let me sample some items. While I did feel rushed because there was people behind me she reassured me there's no rush and made the experience overall funny with her humor! Later I was helped out at the cashier by Jacey she was nice. Poor young man in the back working by himself moving around quickly and efficiently. I will say I think they are understaffed. We had a power outage after our movie, and these sweet souls decided to give away the rest of their food for free so it didn't go to waste, and I just have to say, the people aren't the only thing good about the restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious as well! TL;DR: counter-service, quick, delicious! Like a more authentic Panda Express with real Chinese dishes! AMBIENCE/LOCATION: very clean, right across from the pedestrian area in front of the AMC 16 movie theater (and the containers seem really easy to pack and take to go)! HOW IT WORKS: Order any of the bases and/or just the smaller main dishes. Mix and match as you please, and you don't need to get the base if you need to! FOOD: The bases are HUGE and could be easily shared with 2-3 people. The main dishes are really yummy! My favorite was the num num chicken- Szechuan spice, but not SO spicy, so it's not going to upset your stomach if you're used to the flavor. It kinda numbs your mouth in a pleasing way. Dry pot Brussels sprouts were good! I also had the crispy pork (kinda fusion, with French fries), egg and tomato (authentic, but a little sweet), and the orange chicken (sweeter and more orange flavored than Panda Express). Overall I would come back for a quick, cheap meal if I'm craving a more authentic Chinese taste!! It's definitely comfortable for people who are familiar with this type of food and those who are new to this! read more

I brought my husband here last night based on a TikTok I saw. The young man behind the counter who got our food was really nice and cheerful and the place was super clean and bright. Unfortunately, robot machines cook the food and then the food goes into warmers. Robot machines cannot cook! The food was bland bland bland. The chow mein was bland and the noodles were close the being mushy. The mapo tofu, despite sitting in red oil/sauce tasted like plain tofu, the steamed pork buns were inedible with the bun being hard and chewy on top and soaked with the juice from the meat on the bottom. I won't give details about what my husband ate but we couldn't finish the food and we didn't bring the leftovers home. The concept is fun, the workers are nice, and the space is clean but the food is simply bland. read more

But with 5 adults and a baby carriage, we had to wait for the right table because the somewhat small restaurant was full. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.

Banh mi had no jalapenos either, the egg rolls were missing lettuce wraps and the sauce was half the to go container. I've eaten here in person and received lettuce when eating in the restaurant, their yelp photos show lettuce wraps with the egg rolls. But every time i ordered egg rolls for takeout it is missing lettuce wraps. The one time i ordered and got the lettuce wraps with egg rolls, i had to explicitly tell them to add it that time. I thought this placed served the food as it should be in their culture? I've held back leaving a bad review of this place because i thought they would somehow improve or it was a one off mistake but this was the final straw. Consistently screwing up or intentionally holding back ingredients on takeout orders crazy. How much are you actually saving by with holding lettuce, sauce, and jalapenos??? This place used to be good, now it's just another above average spot. If you want banh mi, go somewhere else and be less disappointed.

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. The food and cafe de olla are worth it.

Fries looked like they were actual fresh made fries, not frozen, which was a nice surprise. I could also tell that they make their ranch from scratch. The bbq chicken sandwich was also delicious. Side salad was super fresh. Everything was so delicious! Portions nice; prices fair. I am impressed with Wild Carvery because I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and the quality is high. I also suspect that they make their own pickles? But I'm not sure. If quality and freshness are important to you, I highly recommend checking out Wild Carvery. I can't wait to come back and try their burgers.

Dear Tiga Wok Management, I am writing to express a serious concern regarding food handling practices I observed during my visit to your Burbank location on Monday, September 8th. While at your restaurant, I saw a server wearing gloves and an apron while serving food. I then witnessed the same employee enter the restroom without removing either the gloves or apron. After exiting the restroom, they immediately returned to the food line--still wearing the same gloves and apron--and resumed handling food. Additionally, I observed the employee use a toothpick to eat food directly off the line, which raises further concerns about hygiene and food safety. As a customer, I expect basic food safety protocols to be followed, especially when it comes to preventing cross-contamination. The behavior I witnessed not only violates proper sanitation standards but also puts patrons' health at risk. I hope you take this issue seriously and provide appropriate training or corrective action to ensure this does not continue. I stopped by the new Tigawok in Burbank a few days after they opened -- it's always exciting to see new spots in the area. I tried the pepper pork, Hunan spicy beef, and a side of cabbage. The pepper pork had a nice balance -- not too salty, and the green pepper gave it a fresh kick. The Hunan beef was definitely on the spicy side (in a good way!) The cabbage was simple but cooked just right. The place was clean, service was friendly, and I liked how fast everything came out even though it was lunchtime. Really tasty and affordable Chinese mini bowl spot. You pick a few dishes with rice -- I got spicy chicken, sweet & sour fried chicken, cabbage, and garlic broccoli. Everything was flavorful and not too oily. Fast service, clean space, and cute vibes. Perfect for a quick lunch! read more
