Everything we had just tasted odd. I don't ever write reviews either. But the food was so peculiar to my entire family, that I had to write this. Don't let "wagyu" fool you. Prices are cheap but food was mediocre. Ordered 10 items take out. The orange chicken was the only decent one. Rest tasted like poor quality Chinese food. Absolute worst was the Wagyu rice which was as much fat as meat and just wasn't good. read more

Solid 3/5! An elevated Panda Express! 1 order or rice, 1 order of chow mein, 1 order of beef curry, 1 order of orange chicken, 1 order of green beans and a fountain drink for $22, not bad. Customer service and ambience is excellent! Food is incredibly average, tastes like a frozen Trader Joe's meal. The beef curry was 80% fat and hard to eat. Chicken had a lot of tendons as well, not the best quality of meat. Its not bad, its not great. I'd rather cook this stuff at home or go to HK mart. Curry was almost inedible because it was pure fat and tendons. read more

Nestled in what I'd like to call restaurant row in downtown Burbank, Tigawok is a great surprise find. The food is very wholesome and full of flavor. With an abundance of small side dishes that you normally wouldn't find at your standard Americanized Chinese restaurants such as sweet tomato and scrambled eggs, shredded potato and bean sprouts, or the wagyu curry. Each, bursting with flavor reminiscent of my own mother's home cooking! The staff here are all welcoming and waiting to serve. We have been frequenting the Sawtelle location and were so excited to see that Burbank was getting a Tigawok. We are big fans of Tigawok and couldn't wait for the opening. The staff was great at the soft opening and the food quality was great. the new space is big, spacious, and lots of seating. This is exactly what Burbank needed. Great food at a great value! great place for a good fasr meal before a movie. The place itself is cute and the food was decent--definitely better than a fast-casual spot like Panda. When we first arrived, it started off great. A friendly girl helped us with samples and recommendations, which made us excited to try everything. It was before 3 pm, no one was in line behind us, and we were really looking forward to our meal. Unfortunately, the experience changed when another employee in a black shirt (possibly a manager) came out. She seemed annoyed and repeatedly mentioned she was working during her 30-minute break. She started rushing the girls helping us and micromanaging while cleaning. It made the atmosphere uncomfortable, even for the staff. At one point, I was about to be served their crispy pork, but she had it dumped out mid-serve, saying it wasn't up to standard. While I appreciate quality control, the way it was handled felt awkward and forced. I do want to highlight that this visibly changed the environment and behavior of the other girls who were helping us. I also want to highlight the first girl was doing an excellent job with giving us food recommendations and helping us navigate the ordering process. Overall, the food was okay and the environment cute, but the service left us feeling a bit uncomfortable. Might give it another try in the future, but the vibe could definitely be improved. read more

Love this place! I think I've had all their options right now and overall they taste great! People there are always very friendly and it's super convenient for us. Took one star off because: 1) Their chilled broccoli tasted great the first few times but has been pretty inconsistent lately. Sometimes they taste completely raw, I feel like they weren't steamed/boiled long enough 2) I got a free entree because I go there all the time and it ended up taking off white rice at check out. I have been to the Sawtelle location a dozen or so times. The Burbank location has much easier parking, is much closer, is much larger inside, and had wonderful employees behind the counter & coming around to see how things were. I was hoping for the tiger wagyu curry and the chilled garlic broccoli, but those were unavailable and we were hungry and tempted by their other options. We had the steamed white rice, (vegetable) chow mein, the the dry-pot brussel sprouts, garlic eggplant & green beans, shredded potato with green peppers, hand torn cabbage, spicy crispy pork, & the mixed vegetables. I also sampled the num num chicken. They also had tasty marinated white radish available by the beverage station. I enjoyed everything and would order everything again with the exception of the spicy crispy pork, as it was way too salty for my liking. While everyone there was super friendly, Kenny & Kenneth went above and beyond! read more

Visited for the first time with my boyfriend. First thing I noticed was how clean and organized everything looked. When we got to the front we were greated by 2 of the employees, both of whom were happy to help out since it was our first time. They explained how to order and even gave us samples!
