My last delivery order was unfortunately not so great. The meatball sandwich had a hair in it and pizza was cold. We were within 5-10 mins of this place at the time of making this order so distance wasn't the issue. I noticed they prepared the order after I made it but then didn't have anyone deliver it until an hour later, this is why it was cold. Too bad it wasn't made shortly before being delivered. Cold pizza isn't great but I could let it go to some degree but the hair ruined any appetite we had left. Note: For what it's worth I've placed many orders here and usually it goes okay (I'd also like to add I'm sure you may be able to avoid getting cold food by eating in and not getting delivery). I don't know how I didn't find this place sooner! We were visiting from Philadelphia and when you are from the east coast and are Italian, sometimes you just crave good Italian or pizza that reminds you of home and isn't upscale or insanely expensive. We both got pasta, I had the gnocchi with sausage and my partner had the spaghetti bolognese. It was so refreshing to find Italian food in Seattle that's affordable and tastes delicious. Their pasta sauce was light and fresh and the pasta was cooked well. We had the meatballs for an appetizer that comes with three, and they were very good! Not too dense, not too mushy! I was such a fan of the sauce, I asked for a side of bread just so I could soak up the rest! Service was friendly and so fast we were out of there in under 35-40 min. I will say I did order a drink that never came which was a bummer, but didn't mention it since it wasn't on the bill. read more

Stopped by here for lunch. I thought this was a pretty good pizza place. Service was good and food came out relatively fast. I got the standard pepperoni 10" and was able to eat the whole thing. The pizza is light and crispy and didn't leave any unpleasant lump in the stomach feeling. Looking at some of the other reviews, this likely isn't the go to place for a take out pizza. You need to sit down and eat it fresh at the restaurant. Because it's thinner crust, it won't be as good when it's not crispy and the grease has sogged out the crust. read more

Ordered the meatball & ricotta pizza and requested they add pepperoni. Pizza came without pepperoni, which was quickly remedied, but ended up being a huge letdown. I think they felt bad that they for forgot the pep so they loaded up on the pep. Sadly pizza came back to us without pepperoni being cup & char : ( and the pizza was no longer piping hot out of the oven. We've ordered this exact same pizza at the Columbia city location so we know how it should be served. In addition it could've had more cheese on it. Server was courteous. Just ate here tonight at 8pm, the food was decent but the service and ambiance was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. My partner and I have passed this eatery several times and noticed the beautiful patio and decided to give this establishment a try. When we arrived the host asked if we would like indoor or outdoor seating. We asked for outdoor seating, since we wanted to sit on the patio. Then the host told us he needed to double check if they were still seating people on the patio. He went back and asked who I assume was his supervisor. They discussed for a little while and then he came back told us they were no longer seating people on the front patio. He then led us to a table inside. However, they have outdoor seating to the side of the restaurant that belongs to them. There were at least 3 groups eating outside, so we asked if we could sit outside where other people were eating, since we still wanted to eat outside and enjoy the nice weather. The host then led us to the door leading to the side outdoor area, then stopped at the door, looked back at his supervisor, then abruptly told us they were no longer seating people on that side anymore. There were several tables open but we didn't dispute it because we had been led across the restaurant a few times by this point already. However this was at 8pm and they close at 10pm. And during our entire meal, they sat 3 other parties that came after us, outside where we asked to sit. Additionally, we received lots of stares from the staff throughout the meal. The entire experience was unsettling, uncomfortable, and made my partner and I feel discriminated against. We're not sure if this was racially targeted as we are asian and they sat all the minorities inside and everyone that was outside seemed caucasian. Overall, this was the most uncomfortable meal I have ever had. It felt awful to be told we can't sit outdoors but then see 3 other parties seated where we wanted to sit. On a good note, the roasted beets appetizer was refreshing and the prosciutto & mushroom pizza was good but soggy. And I do want to note that our server was attentive and nice. However the other staff that were not attending us, kept starring at us. Even when we looked back at them they did not stop starring at us. Very uncomfortable experience! read more

LOVVVE TUTTA BELLA!!! This is one of my all-time favorite spots for a quick & yummy meal. The South Lake Union location has an amazing view of the Space Needle with a huge outdoor patio. There's a loft upstairs if you want to host a private party, and chef's table seating in front of the kitchen which is fun watching them make pizzas!! We decided to sit in the bar this night since it's usually low-key and quieter in there. I ordered the Napoli Salad, Burrata with Peperonata, Meatballs, and Rustica Flatbread. Came here as part of an event, so we had a large party of about 20. The service was a bit confused, with servers not knowing who ordered which dish (or even which table it was supposed to go to) and a delay between entrees (e.g. our pasta came 10 minutes after our pizza), which was understandable given the big group. Our server did not seem to be in a great mood, refusing to answer a basic question about the drink selection, and walking to another table while we took about 15 seconds to decide which size of pizza we wanted. When the correct food did finally arrive it was indeed tasty, as we enjoyed the artichoke dip ($12), the gnocchi with creamy pesto ($22), the rigatoni all'arrabbiata ($19), and the roasted eggplant pizza ($23 for a large). The bruschetta ($10.50) and the caesar salad ($11 for a small) were just okay. For dessert, the sticky toffee cake ($10) was excellent, and the pear gelato ($5) was one of the best I've had. I'm really tough when it comes to pizza. I'm a snob and that's not lie. I hold Neapolitan pizza to higher than heaven standards and Tutta Bella made it past my pearly gates. I had the Michele pizza and it was divine. The Neapolitan meatballs are also an incred appetizer. Our server was great! I forgot her name but towards the end HEATHER took excellent care of us. I really like the Margherita pizza and meatballs. The crust is chewy and delicious. It has been consistently good. Meatballs have pretty good flavor. I like cutting them up so they get soaked in the sauce add some parmesan and chili flakes, so yummy. The Leonard pizza was even better. Will definitely order that again. Since covid I've only ordered takeout from here. Haven't been to happy hour since precovid and not sure if they still have it but it's super cute inside too. Tough to find pizza spot above the Whole Foods. Tuesday night vibes were pleasant, and the place was not too busy or loud. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was very helpful when it came to answering our questions while ordering. I split a 13 inch pizza with one other person and was satisfied enough. The food came out in a very reasonable amount of time and tasted quite good. However, the pizza had some really burnt spots that you'd definitely want to avoid eating. I also felt like the pizza was mostly crust, which has to be my least favorite part of pizza. Some of the menu items are a bit overpriced, especially the garlic knots. Manager reached out to me after my last review and invited us back for another try. It was definitely very nice of her and it showed they cares about customer service. We finally got around to it today and the experience is definitely much better. Well our server was attentive and they were not short of staff today. Food was made and customized just as requested. Delicious and no error. I would highly recommend their seasonal menu. We got the peach dessert today and it was absolutely out of the world good. The pizza here is a solid staple pizza. Might be a bit pricey for the size, but the dough is freshly made and you can taste it. The crust is a bit crispy and chewy throughout. The centers are a bit thin which allows a nice balance of sauce and dough and cheese. However, this thinness definitely causes the toppings on my pizza to fall off constantly. This is all part of any pizza eating experience though. I also got tiramisu. It was nice and moist throughout the cake. It was also not overly sweet. We had to remind our servers to bring us water, deserts etc. The Caprese salad was 4 slices of mozzarella cheese and like 10+ slices of tomatoes. "Warm caramel cake"was not even room temp. Brand new restaurant and updated concept. Nice ambiance and solid service. They eliminated the Misto salad, which was a draw for me. BEWARE there is no parking in the building. There is one open air lot nearby in a sketchy dark lot that I only found thanks to the good graces of a local resident who pointed me in the right direction. I used to go to the Westlake location regularly partly because parking was convenient. I will NEVER return to this location again due to lack of parking and insane rush hour traffic around the restaurant. Bummed. read more

Hostess wasn't polite, the food is way overpriced for the quality, and add-ons (such as basic protein) are too expensive. The restaurant isn't "nice" enough by any means to justify these prices, and neither was the experience (or lack thereof). The bathroom is disgusting, resembling one that you'd reluctantly use at a public park. Our waiter experience was alright, but nothing to justify more than a 10-15% tip. As an east-coast transplant living in Seattle, I really appreciate Tutta Bella. I grew up eating pizza from New Haven, CT and NYC (if you know, you know), so it's been hard to find pizza that is comparable here in Seattle. Tutta Bella gives you that Neapolitan style with thin, crispy, chewy dough and super fresh tasting ingredients. I love their margarita and my partner and I both love the Roberto with the pistachio purée (omg so good). I also occasionally consider having the burrata and prosciutto as my entree because I love the toast with the burnt edges and the salty prosciutto with the creamy cheese. Pro-tip: get the olives, these are my favorite olives I've ever had, no exaggeration. The only reason I haven't given them the full five stars is for the pricing. Their pricing is definitely on the high side, I don't think a 13 inch pizza which pretty much only feeds 1-1.5 hungry adults should be $28 lol. They also have salads, pastas, and gelato for dessert. I got the personal size (10 inch) prosciutto and arugula pizza. They put plenty of arugula on the pizza. The pizza tasted quite good, as the saltiness of the prosciutto blends well with the cheesy aroma of the pizza and the fresh arugula. A 10 inch pizza was the perfect portion for me.
