    Stacked Roasted Turkey Club
    Denise P.

I visited Yard House today and ordered the Stacked Turkey Club, while my friend had the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak. The service was good overall. The host Denise was especially friendly and welcoming, and our waitress was attentive. Nothing was over the top, but everyone was pleasant. The Stacked Turkey Club biggest flaw? Was not the flavors, but the sandwich wasn't built in a way that made it easy to eat. Every time I picked it up, it started falling apart. The avocado slices slid out with almost every bite, making it pretty messy. I think pressing or spreading the avocado onto the bread instead of layering thick slices would help hold everything together and make it much easier to enjoy. The Korean BBQ Cheesesteak had really good flavor (but no cheese as stated in the name) the bread didn't quite work for the sandwich. It was very soft and had a texture that was too similar to the meat, so there wasn't much contrast. A baguette-style roll with a little more crunch on the outside while still being soft inside would have complemented the cheesesteak much better by adding texture and making the sandwich hold together better. The fries were one of the highlights, crispy, hot, and well seasoned. We also shared a sour beer that was excellent, although I can't remember the name. Even the pickles were surprisingly good. Overall, we enjoyed the meal, and the service was good. I just think a few small improvements to the way the sandwiches are assembled and the choice of bread would make them even better. I'd definitely come back and try something else on the menu.

Great foods, great spot to chill out, love the 32oz beer .. they don't take reservations, if you go on the weekend, expect long wait. Pay parking but they offer validation. Don't forget to bring the ticket with ya.

Yard House (Long Beach, CA): Happy Hour deals
    Savannah R.

I visited Yard House in Long Beach, CA [401 Shoreline Village Dr] on Wednesday, 05/13/26 around 8:00 PM. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the hostess. There was up to a 15-minute wait, which wasn't too bad. I ordered the following for dinner: * House Salad (starter): made with mixed greens, baby tomatoes, carrots, white cheddar, hard-boiled eggs (added modification/extra charge), no croutons, served with extra ranch dressing. * Chicken Enchilada Stack (entree): prepared with corn tortillas, pasilla peppers, jack cheese, pinto beans, sour cream, chipotle & tomatillo pepper sauces, fried jalapeño. The house salad tasted freshly crisp, with all the delectable vegetables and the addition of hard-boiled eggs. The ranch dressing and black pepper both pull the entire salad together for satisfaction in each bite. The enchiladas were dynamite and addictive. The chipotle & tomatillo pepper sauces were beyond flavorful. The portion of the dinner plate was filling. Overall, the dish was enjoyable. Samantha ('Sam') was my server throughout the dining experience. The service provided was decently courteous and satisfactory. The entire atmosphere was inviting, with a plethora of tables and chairs available inside as well as the outdoor patio area. The menu was extensive with a variety of choices. The food was generous with portions and adequately priced. This restaurant is located within the Shoreline Village of Long Beach, which offers gorgeous views of the Rainbow Harbor + Queen Mary. Having dinner at Yard House met expectations. I recommend stopping by this restaurant.

My friends and I had an okay experience here. The food was good, and the atmosphere was lively, but it was definitely crowded. The only reason I come to Yard House is for the classic cheeseburger and the spinach dip--they never disappoint. The biggest downside was the service. Our waiter was actually very nice and did his best, which is why I'm giving two stars, but the overall experience wasn't great. The hostess was pretty rude when I asked if they validated parking. Speaking of parking, the lot is very small and shared with several other restaurants, so finding a spot was frustrating. We ended up paying $2 for two hours of parking. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service and parking situation would make me think twice before coming back.

This is the original Yard House with about 180 tab beers! The service is impeccable. They're so kind, they let you try as many beers as you like until you find the perfect beer. We were there at happy hour which was a beautiful thing, who does love a deal! The chicken nachos were awesome only $8! Our server Jeanette was bubbly and so accommodating! We're getting a Yard House at the Legends in Sparks, NV right by our house so I was excited to have a prelude to the opening! The food is great, the beer is better, and the service is amazing! Have fun!

Since working in DTLB for 17 years now, Yard House has been one of our go-to spots for company's luncheons or Christmas parties or any kind of occasions. I like their lunch options, lots of variety to choose from, sometimes too many. I like that you can order from the tablet on the table and how big and spacious the restaurant is. This is also where you can watch all your sport games and it is one of the more fun places to watch the World Cup also. Food is consistent and the same across all Yard House so at least you can expect what to expect... service has always been good whenever I went even though there were times, it was super slow and it took forever for our servers to check on us or return so we can ask for something.

Beautiful restaurant location with a beach side view. Came for happy hour, one of the best in the game. Poke nachos 10/10 and plenty of other tasty and affordable food. Service was great and friendly. Make sure to validate your parking here, I believe they still charge around $10 for parking.

Ordered the Thai pork chop and a framboise. Busy this time of the night. Enjoying the music from the boats in the harbor.

Went here for lunch for a coworkers's retirement. You park in a parking lot after an arm gate. I didn't pay attention to the parking lot or how much you have to pay or if there's a certain amount of time for free after validation. We all sat outside. Service was good. Food was ok. Nothing bad and nothing too out of the ordinary for a lunch experience. Wouldn't have been my first choice for lunch but I do enjoy their happy hour once in a while. I did get the fish and chips and was surprised at the portion. For lunch? What in the world haha.

First time at this location.... Late night dinner party of 3. We arrived at about 11pm. There was no wait and we got seated right away at the High top tables near the bar. Our server was very nice and pleasant. Once we ordered, our food came out super fast... fresh to order (counter top bar area is open seating). The poke nachos and lemon pepper wings both were very delicious. My friend ordered the chicken nachos and it was a huge portion size..... definitely shareable with the table. Overall this location has a good atmosphere with nice views (near the water) and friendly/helpful servers. They do have plenty of parking but make sure you get your parking ticket validated. After validation I paid $2.50.

Came here for happy hour. Sliders: I must have been in a burger n fries mood because these were my favorite. Calamari: decent. Can't complain. Buffalo boneless wings: we thought we ordered the ones with the bones but boneless we got. We didn't feel like sending it back so we just ate them. They pretend decent. I'm not a big beer drinker but will definitely come back for happy hour!

Seated at the bar, 1:30pm Saturday, Chanel greeted and served me and the burger and beer for burger and beer week did not disappoint. Burger and beer celebrations end 6/27

Cheers to the New Year! (Did I say that already?)

Ask the Community - Yard House

Will this Yard House offer a special St Patrick's Day menu that includes corned beef brisket like you have done in past years?

    Is there parking?..free?, validated?

Yes, there is parking validation for up to two hours

    How is the parking?

Take your ticket to get validated by the restaurant.

    Do they take reservations?

About a month ago I called to make reservations and they do not rake reservations. Walk in only. Wait can be long during peak hours.

Is happy hour available on Labor Day?

It depends on the manger that is working. One year no one year yes

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

Yes, dogs are allowed, only on the patio. As long as the dogs are quiet, well behaved and will stay laying down under the table.

Hi do you guys do brunch on Saturday?

Hey Karina! We don't have our brunch-specific menu anymore, but we do have some brunch-like items on our regular menu, such as Avocado Toast, Nashville Hot Chicken, Bloody Marys and Mimosas.

We'd like to ride our bikes down to the Yard House this weekend, is there bike racks close to and/or visible to the patio?

Hey, Jyll! Yes, there is a bike rack in front of our restaurant on the parking lot side.

Are they open on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day?

Hey, Jennifer! We will be open until 10PM on Christmas Eve. We will not be open on Christmas Day.

Do they still have happy hour?

Hey Joe! Yes, we still have Happy Hour Monday - Friday from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. Hope to see you soon!

    Do you take reservations?

Hey Suzanna! We do not take reservations. It is first come, first served.

When is the least busy hour so there is no wait time?

Hey Marlene! Our wait times change very frequently. We recommend visiting right when we open, or calling our team to get the most up to date wait times: (562) 628-0455

    No more deliveries?

That is correct! Unfortunately, we’re no longer partnering with any third-party delivery service. While it might not have happened to you, we found that deliveries weren’t always arriving in a timely manner and our food wasn’t always being handled…

Are you guys still taking happy hour to go orders?

Hey! We are no longer doing Happy Hour to go. Our Happy Hour items are available to go as part of our regular menu, and we are doing Happy Hour in the restaurant.

Can I make a reservation? If the party is of 7 and there are 4 present will they be seated to wait for the remaining 3? Or do all members have to be there to be seated?

No, it's first come, first served.

Is late night happy hour back yet?

Hi Cassy! Yes we have Late Night Happy Hour on Sun-Wed from 10:00pm to close.

Are you guys currently using a wait list and if so how do you join?

Hi David! At this time, our wait list is not available. We are seating first come, first serve.

    Are reservations required?

They don't take phone calls to join the wait list. I just called them and they said first come first serve.

Do you guys not have late night happy hour anymore?

Hi Christopher. We do not have Late Night Happy Hour at this time, but we hope to bring it back soon.

Hi. Do you guys have drinks for takeout(beers or wine or alcohol drink)?

Hi Steph! Yes, we have a variety of beer, cocktails and wines available to go. You can view them all, and place your order online, at this link: https://www.yardhouse.com/menu-listing/bar-to-go.

For starters, we got the Parker House Rolls, which comes with truffle butter, local citrus honey, and grana padano cheese. These rolls were so fluffy and flavorful. We also ordered the hummus, which was so rich and creamy, and the oysters from the raw bar. For the main, we ordered the Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and the Wedge salad to share. And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! It was so refreshing, flavorful--just everything you want in a dish. We ended the dining experience with their Peach Cobbler Hand Pie, which came with streusel, pistachio crumble, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!

This place popped up, and it was happy hour. So we thought why not. We got lucky and found parking close (rare for that street). And walked over and immediately loved the vibe. We walked in and were greeted immediately, and then brought upstairs. The decor on the way up was awesome. The old school nature, with paintings and abstract vintage pieces.. love. It felt like we were in an old industrial building. We were surprised that it was pretty empty when we got up there. We sat at the bar, and love the decor upstairs too. There's a view of the street from up there as well that's beautiful. The bartender greeted us fairly quickly, and we each ordered a speciality cocktail on their happy hour. Both were delicious. I will say that the prices are a bit steep for me. Very glad we came during the happy hour. But really want to return to try the food and more drinks. Maybe on a special date night out!

The upstairs host Kori was amazing. She was bubbly, kind and super helpful. Now to our waitress, there was a bit to be desired there. My wife felt like with each thing she asked for she was bothering her. ( I will omit her name out of kindness, she may have been dealing with something personal and having a bad day. ) Now to the food. The Drinks, my wife's Paloma was delicious. I had a Makers 46 neat. Very basic whiskey selections but it was good. Our appetizer, the Artichoke dip came out to us tepid after 20 minutes of waiting for it and the chips borderline stale. I had the Bo Burger, the pork belly and aioli carried it. Fries were ok. My wife had chicken milanese it was fantastic, she just had to request extra sauce. Coke Zeros were flat, we sent them back. So my wife had a Proseco and she enjoyed that. Upon putting in the reservation I stated it was my wife's birthday, Kori even asked we told her and I'm pretty sure it was relayed to the serve who said nothing and didn't inquire whether we wanted dessert or offer anything. My wife asked for a box, she put the box on the table and walked away. We had to ask a busser for a bag and a cup for her sauce. He was very sweet, he filled our waters and asked if we needed anything else. The restaurant charges a 5% fee for the team, you can decline it. We didn't. I even still gave the server a respectable tip. Sadly she could have received twice as much because I used to serve when I was much younger. My wife is a Dorector in the Hospitality industry and she loves giving extra. I understand the struggle but if she was as charismatic as Kori she could make more and really add to the restaurant. Needless to say we will not make the hour and 15 minute drive again.

We started with appetizers: mussels ($23) and braised lamb belly ($25). For the main course, we ordered a ribeye steak ($69), Scottish salmon ($46), and "dirty pasta" ($36). Drinks included a glass of wine ($17) and a glass of Coke ($4.50). With tax ($23.15) and an "employee benefits" charge ($5.51), the total came to $249.16 before gratuity. The mussels are cooked in a broth of white wine, nduja sausage, tomatoes, onions, lemon juice, and parsley, with a toasted baguette served on the side. I liked the overall taste of the dish, but the mussels were small. The braised lamb belly was an interesting dish, as it was served with kimchi and thin sheets of daikon radish on the side. I assumed the idea was to make a "taco" by combining the three components. I liked it, though the lamb had bit of gaminess which might not appeal to everyone. The ribeye plate comes as steak only, with sides available à la carte. The steak was cooked nicely--juicy and flavorful, though I was a bit surprised by how rich it tasted. The "dirty pasta" features large rigatoni, ground duck, ricotta, and sauce. It was good, and the duck made for an interesting change from the usual beef. As a complete plated meal, I think the Scottish salmon was impressive--both for its visual presentation and the taste of the meal as a whole. The restaurant floor has a split-level design. Upon entering, you'll find a large oval bar surrounded by tables and booths. Step down a level, and there are seats offering views of the Long Beach marina. This area with a view is protected by windows--which is good, as the marine air is often cool and breezy. It seems that nearly all the establishments owned by this restaurant group have names starting with the letter or word "A." When searching online, use the words "a pch restaurant," as "a pch" alone is apparently too vague a search term. A final note to management: I was surprised to see a $5.51 charge for "employee benefit" on our bill. I playfully asked our server what benefits this covered, but they didn't know. They mentioned it could be removed if I objected, but I chose not to. My point is, if you're charging diners, shouldn't your staff be able to explain it? And if the line item can be so easily discharged, maybe you shouldn't be adding it in the first place.
