We were able to sample the meat ahead of time from one of the workers (Frida) and all were good but the arrachera was our favorite. The tortillas are made fresh - and yes, the burrito is massive. The Arrachera is at a premium and is not warranted. I guarantee you nerve in every bite .... Feel like I wasted a cheat meal on what I thought was going to be good food since I tried this at the Rialto location, definitely not the same. Ordered a bowl with white rice black beans arrachera fajitas corn guac lettuce and salsa and the portions can't be a topic of complaint, but for better quality meat I wouldn't mind paying more for a bowl, especially the most expensive one on the menu. Nothing like the arrachera in Mexico, this is just marinated meat cooked on the trompo and finished on the flat grill... taste like it was only cooked on the flat grill honestly. Got 3 tacos, birria, carnitas, and pastor. The pastor is really on a trompo but it tastes like the ones you buy at the store already prepped for a stove top cook, carnitas was dry, birria was definitely cooked that same day or on the spot or just a little too salty. I don't know if it's the people working these ingredients but it was terrible. I think you need to have munchies to enjoy this at the price they charge. I was better off going to the taco truck on Romona and Phillips, way better pastor, way better carnitas, tortillas are handmade but smaller, and they have papas the same portion as these bowls for the same price. I was disappointed with this location since I live right down the street from it but oh well. Hope everyone else gets luckier with workers who don't look fatigued at 7pm and closing is at 11. The meat prep definitely reflected poorly on the hype of this location. It's a Mexican, tasty goody, large portions, fair price, but not for me but at least I'm full af right? Based on reviews I have read, I was expecting tons of meat, but it was a standard amount. They also do not have a sauce station and extra sauce on the side is not free. I am not impressed by this place at all. Yes, the portions are big but the quality is subpar. I ordered a bowl. The meat is just taco meat, not good quality pieces. I asked for the salsa on the side and repeated myself twice asking this, then the employee looked at me and proceeded to put the salsa on my bowl! I don't mind the salsa but I wanted it on the side so I can put at my own portion. The cheese is also the processed, pre shredded stuff. Overall, the bowl didn't taste as fresh and quality as chipotle I would say. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I went here being so excited to try this new spot. I ordered two burritos and one taco. The barbacoa was very good. The burrito I purchased for my partner, had hair in it. He was so disappointed and disgusted he threw it away before I could take a picture. This was about a 30 minute ride there and 35 minutes back to my house so I didn't take it back. I am very upset. I didn't eat mine at all because of the hair situation. I already finished my taco so I didn't see any mistakes there. Almost $50 on food we didn't eat. read more

Food was alright, I expected better given the hype. Had 2 tacos, one chicken and one steak. Staff was very nice, food was alright, everything was clean. I take my tacos with just cilantro and cheese, sauce on the side. I felt like I was pulling teeth to try to get the amount of cheese that chipotle gives, cheese was straight out of a bag, not fresh, salsa could have been way better. Meat portions were generous and tortillas great. Price was overinflated when I could have gone to Boca del Rio for a third less. Not worth it. read more

This place is good, line gets long at peak hours. You can compare it to Chipotle, but fresher ingredients, price point is the same as if you would order extra meat at Chipotle, if you don't get extra meat then this place is more expensive. The portions are the same as Chipotle, with the only difference being the meat portion, which is way more here. I don't think you can ask for extra portions here without paying extra though. read more

Went here on Friday and I think it was 2 days after they had their soft opening. They handled the long line like champs!! I've never been to the Rialto location and decided to go to this location because it was way closer. I'm happy I did. The staff members were extremely welcoming, consistently checking in on us waiting in line, and making sure that we got everything we wanted as we went through the line. They also had music playing and the place was extremely clean and organized. Me and my boyfriend ended up getting 2 burritos, a bowl, a side of guac, a side of queso, and chips. For the entrees we had the chicken, carnitas, and birria. Everything was amazing!! No complaints anywhere. I'm an extremely picky person and decided to step outside my comfort zone and try something new. I'm so happy I did. So now we're planning when to go back read more

The food is made fresh and it's actually seasoned unlike the other bland corporate store with the same concept. The people making the food are efficient and they actually do it with a smile. They also dont skimp on the ingredients. The burrito I ordered was enough for me to buy once and break into 3 meals for the day. The only con I have with this place is the location and the limited parking. It's just a bit too far from any other reason to go in that general area and parking can be a problem if you go during lunch time but they offer online ordering so you can still get in and out quickly if you have a passenger. read more

We went on grand opening day on 5/2/26. I didnt know what to expect, my first time here. Saw it on social media and it looked delish. I had the bowl, hubby had a burrito and we shared a nacho. We only ended up eating the nachos there becuz it was so filling (had the burrito and bowl the next day). Omg, their meat is so good (had pastor, arrachera steak, steak sirloin) and the portion is ridiculous (in the best way), their burrito is so big. The staff were great, friendly and they are so efficient. Shout out to Frida who was a great host, going around the tables (customers) giving out samples and making sure you were taken care of. Definitely coming back here! So excited to try the tacos next. :-) read more

Food quality is really good but I went there a couple times in the beginning and they used to give you way more meat. They're definitely giving less meat now and the inconsistency suck. I got four bowls one of them was considerably smaller with all the same ingredients. Not to mention a ridiculous line took almost 40 minutes to get through. WOWZERS! This place was SOOOOO GOOD! I heard so many great thing about this place, but at first I didn't believe it because they compared it to my goat Chipotle. My friend Max kept us waiting for THIRTY MINUTES before we left then it was ANOTHER 30 MINUTE DRIVE to get here, so me and my merry crew of 6 were absolutely FAMISHED. We got in line, and IMMEDIATELY we were offered free samples of meat and free water bottles. Our tortillas were pressed FRESHLY in front of us. They gave us an ENTIRE 2 SCOOPS OF MEAT. My burrito was the same weight as my newborn baby, who I dropped to hold this new conglomerate of meat and veg offered for the low low price of 15 dolla. I'm confident just the SIGHT of this burrito could kill a Victorian child (in a good way). When we sat down, Emily was kind enough to offer us limes and salsa via table service (god bless her soul). This location is more spacious than the original. It's very clean and the staff is helpful. I was pleasantly greeted by Cory with some samples. The food still hits like the original. I prefer the Steak Arrachera. I got it in a bowl with a tortilla on the side. Glad to have some quality food closer to where I am. read more
