Upon entering the establishment, We were immediately sat! The way the ordering system works was very unique as well. You dont get a waiter unless you request one and all of the ordering and paying is done by scanning the QR code on your own personal phone. While it does take away the human interaction a bit, it is quite convenient! The ambiance and establishment decor was absolutely stunning. It wasn't too crowded or loud and the music played all throughout was pretty good. After we placed our orders, the food and drinks came out within 10 minutes! I first had the chicken taco and the shrimp taco and then I had the Baja fish taco. The chicken in the chicken taco was a bit undercooked but the flavor upon initially trying it was great! The shrimp taco and the fish taco were my favorites! I loved the spice in it and the flavor was perfect! I had the green marg which was super amazing as well! Overall, my experience was great! I can't wait to come back and try more tacos! I say 4 out of 5 for the lack of human interaction and the undercooked chicken. Other than that it was great!

Late night tippin. This trip to bar taco wasn't so great. We came in 2 hours before closing and waited an hour for a table. Service was even more sketchy. We were shuffled between a few waiters, then told a lot of the menu wasn't available. Maybe I'll try again.... One day! Parking garage a block away

I loved my peach margarita and chorizo taco! We also tried the duck but it wasn't as good in my opinion. All the servers were nice and explained how the restaurant worked (our first time). I really liked the card that flagged a waiters attention so we didn't have to. I thought the spot was so cute and chill! The music mix 10/10

It's always a great experience when I dine at any bar taco no matter the city. For years I have been addicted to the Baja fish tacos which NEVER disappoint and I always end it with the delicious key lime pie in a jar. This time my daughters encouraged us to try something new, so we feasted on the duck birria tacos and a we must say we approve. I recommend you give them a try, packed with flavor, doesn't taste gamey, and aren't greasy. The service here's always smooth and prompt. We like the vibe of this area. Perfect spot to be on the weekend

I came by for a late lunch and do some work while waiting for traffic to chill out. It was a really nice experience. The host/manager greeted me and took me to a place with an outlet and that I could spread out. They have converted to QR ordering for good it seems (I thought it would be temporary with COVID but no) and it's a bit of a hassle. Each time you want to order something you have to scan the QR code (regardless of if you already did and have an active order), enter your cell number, check the bicycles or bridges or motorcycles or whatever in the weird bot test (it's extremely difficult to pass with extremely poor resolution and it always takes me a few tries) and then enter a confirmation code sent to your phone EVERYTIME you want to order something. That and having to input all your CC information at the start before you can even order something. It's a huge pain in the ass. The QR ordering system does pan out when you want to leave. You just close out on your own time and take off. I do like not having to ask for a check, wait for the check, wait for the cc to be picked up, and then wait for it to be run and returned. I've had most of the stuff on the menu, as it's pretty short/straightforward. There are different proteins: fish, pork belly, tuna, duck, chorizo, shrimp, chicken, ribeye, that you can have as a bite on a corn taco shell with some binders, or as a bowl with rice. They have veggie options like mushroom, falafel, & cauliflower, again as a very small taco or a rice bowl. I didn't like the tacos that much-- they were chewy, and the corn tortilla has this flavor that overpowers everything. It kind of tastes like packaging a bit, sort of like it came in a big plastic bag or was sitting somewhere for a long time. The shells are not that great, so it's sort of pointless to put fresh ingredients in them, IMO. I ordered the ceviche which was delicious and fresh with cold well-seasoned shrimp and spice with jalapenos. The chopped salad was also nice, but maybe a bit overdressed with too much fresh cheese so the flavor wasn't balanced. My favorite was the roasted chicken and the yum cilantro dressing it came with. Service as always was super friendly kind and welcoming. The space is very pretty. Parking situation-- there is not parking lot. You can park on the street or parking lot super super close. It's about 3 dollars an hour.

Nojito, Key Lime Pie in a Jar

I ate here for an early early dinner Saturday night after an afternoon at Lenox Mall. I haven't had bartaco in a while and never at this location. My friend was the bigger bartaco fan, although this meal may have converted me. I ordered the nojito, small guac w/ chips, plantains, four tacos (mushroom/cauliflower/chorizo/pork belly), and key lime pie in a jar. Not a fan of mushrooms but this one was decent. I thought the cauliflower was a little dry/unseasoned. The meat tacos were both great, and I am a die hard pork belly lover. The key lime pie dessert is the coolest concept ever and is so refreshing but not too sweet. I also loved the dip for the perfectly crispy plantains. The bartenders were all wonderful (Kay & Aaron & Xavier), and I had a lovely conversation with the manager Natasha. They have a beautiful space, including an outdoor patio that will definitely be nicer when the temperatures cool down. Definitely will be back!

Bartaco is a great in so many ways. They have multiple locations, you can add your name to the waitlist beforehand, you can order a variety of tacos and the prices are reasonable, you're able to order right on your phone, and the vibe inside the restaurant is relaxing and comforting. I will say our service was a little slow this visit. The main reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they only have 3 parking spots out front which are usually taken so you're forced to pay for parking in the deck across the street or PayByPhone street parking. I'd go more often if I didn't have spend money just to park my car. But overall, Bartaco is a great spot!

Bartaco has been on my restaurant wish list for some time. My husband and I decided it was finally time we paid them a visit. It was a Thursday evening, and the restaurant was moderately busy. We were promptly greeted and escorted to a booth inside. The vibe of the place is so dope! It literally feels like you stepped into an exclusive, sultry bar in the Caribbean. From the woven baskets hanging overhead as lights, to the bamboo lined walkways, I loved everything! Several members of the waitstaff immediately came over to introduce themselves and explain how to order. They gave us a sheet to mark off the items we want to order. Tacos are street style, which means they are very small (think 3 bites max). Also, everything comes out as it's ordered for freshness. We ended up ordering about 10 different types of tacos, cucumber salad, plantain, and two mixed drinks. Everything was delicious! My favorite tacos were the Ahi Tuna, fried oyster, and chilli lime shrimp. Really, all of them were good. All in all, I enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

I used to love coming to this location, but I'm a bit disappointed in their service as of late. 5 of my family members & myself visited on a late afternoon. We were seated almost immediately & our server came to greet us. She asked for our debit/credit cards, due to issues with customers running out on their tabs. We just visited this location a month ago & this wasn't a thing. The manager and the server then told us that their "QR Codes" weren't working so we had to use written menus. Which we thought was strange, being that you don't use a qr code to order here, you usually write the number & type of tacos on the paper with the pencil?! I immediately thought, either the demographics for this area has changed or the service has declined and they were forced to make this new change (side eye). We ordered our food, & our server let us know everything wouldn't come out @ the same time. We were ok with that. What she forgot to mention was, we needed to put the card up, for her to come over for assistance. Another waitress brought our food over, I ordered my usual fish tacos, duck tacos and a chicken. I also decided to try the pineapples with Tajin. Unfortunately the pineapple were white and unsweet, so I ended up sending them back. The amount of tajin wasn't worth the price either :(. After waiting on our server to check on us, we asked another server to bring an additional fish and shrimp taco. 20 min go by, we needed refills, our limes slices were cut to literal edge with little to no flesh for juice & we wanted to request extras. I wanted a soda, because the water tasted strange. 20 min later, She comes back and says "I want to confirm yall wanted the extra tacos" fed up, we cancelled and spoke with a manager. He was understanding and comped our orders, but sheeeesh. I'd hate to stop coming here. He also confirmed they were making some changes with their processes, which could be the reasons for the hiccups. The food is consistent, the service just needs work. Thank you for your understanding Dan!

The ambiance was very chill. Very fluent. Great for friends or dates. Casual. Male bathroom was clean. Servers were friendly. You order through QRCode and servers bring it out. Very little interaction with servers. Delicious tacos. Recommend the pork belly, brisket, and duck tacos.

Yum YUMMYY! I really…read moredon't know where to start but I absolutely love Buena Vida! I guess thats a great place :) location, Location, LOCATION! I admire that area of Buena Vida. All the entertainment is right there in front of you. You're just steps away from the belt line. If you like to people watch, this is for you! They have outdoor seating. A fire pit. Local spots that has live music and you can tend to hear from the patio. This is by far one of my favorite spots in the Ponce area. Let's start with the service. The service is absolutely amazing. I've never had an issue here. Got my food promptly. Always been helpful when conflicted on food options. The service here is 10 out of 10. Phemonenal customer Service, make you feel welcome. Feels like a small community of people, everyone I encoutered were super sweet from servers to bartenders. Treated me like family and I love establishments like that you can get my money ANY day! I'd like to highlight someone special: Alyssa is truly exceptional. She served as my bartender on my latest visit, and I can't say enough good things about her. I look forward to coming in whenever she's working. She's genuine, fun, and her positive energy is a gem. Turning to the cuisine, I have visited the establishment before, and the food is truly exceptional. Two standout appetizers are the Gambas al Ajillo and the garlic-forward, succulent shrimp; the accompanying bread is full of flavor and serves as an excellent introduction to the meal. The Patatas Bravas also deserve special mention--the garlic aioli, chef kiss. As a pescatarian, which is evident in many of my reviews, I cannot comment on the meat options. Nevertheless, there is a noteworthy selection of vegan and gluten-free dishes available. I sampled the Spanish grilled cheese with truffle and garlic aioli--being a fan of garlic, the generous use here was particularly appealing. This reinterpretation of a childhood favorite significantly elevated the dish. Another highlight was the scallops. Although the dish included corn (which I generally avoid), I found it delicious, nonetheless. The scallops were cooked to perfection and infused with rich flavors. The chef demonstrates considerable expertise in crafting these recipes, and I have no complaints regarding my dining experience. Now, a few of my favorite drinks--though everyone might not share the same tastes. When I visit a Spanish-style restaurant, I have my go-to options. One of my favorites is the passionfruit margarita; it's so delicious, it feels like you're on an island. Of course, my all-time favorite is the strawberry margarita--so good and flavorful. It has just the right balance of not too much lime, with a subtle hint of mint--who knew we needed that? Another top pick is the 'Dragon on Vacation.' I usually avoid spicy drinks, so I had the habanero removed, but it's still the perfect blend of dragon fruit flavor in a margarita--so good. I also love a good Paloma; I appreciate its little kick. Overall, I have no complaints about these drinks!

It's always a good time when we meet up with my friends cause the conversation and fellowship is always so sweet, however this time I'd say it was somewhat interrupted. The live music/saxophonist is nice however, it's overbearing. There's a soundtrack playing in the background in addition to the saxophonist and honestly it's just too much. There was always someone yelling over another and we had to continuously ask someone to repeat themselves. They do half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays and that might've been the one thing I enjoyed. As for the food, it was also subpar. I ordered the CRISPY PIMENTON CHICKEN which was essentially a fried chicken with hot honey sauce and that was enjoyable. The caprese salad was good but my tomato's were a bit mushy. I also enjoyed a few of the potatoes brava as well but they weren't anything spectacular. My friends said the steak tasted burnt and needed less charring. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute as there is indoor and outdoor seating but honestly, I'm not that eager to go back.

My typical favorite at Spanish restaurants (patatas bravas) was done very well here too, with the right crunch and tasty sauces. The perfectly tender octopus came with a side of beans that I wished to ask for the recipe for because they were seasoned so nicely! To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was outstanding, especially Kelly. She was incredibly patient, took the time to explain the menu and dishes, and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. We're in town for another week, and we'll definitely be stopping by again before we leave. The food was exceptional, everything we ordered was delicious, and there wasn't a single dish that disappointed. The drinks were also fantastic and very reasonably priced, especially compared to what we're used to back home in Miami. We travel to Atlanta frequently, and this restaurant has officially earned a spot on our "must-visit" list. Highly recommended!

I thought it was interesting that they serve two different types of tortilla chips. I definitely preferred the ones that came with the guacamole--you could tell they were freshly made in-house. We ordered several appetizers to share. The pork belly was cooked perfectly, and the Thai chicken skewers were excellent. The peanut sauce was packed with flavor and kept us coming back for more. The Korean beef tacos were absolutely delicious--we could have eaten several more! Last, I ordered a carnitas taco and shared it with my husband. It also delivered a big punch of flavor. The service was great. There was a female busser who was incredibly attentive and on top of everything. Having that level of support in a busy restaurant is priceless. We will definitely be back!

I can't remember all the cheeses and meats we got but they were all good! The mustard and pickles paired well with everything. We got a variety of tapas to share: the hamachi crudo, octopus, mushroom flatbread, and then paella as a main dish. I thought the tapas were all super delicious! The hamachi crudo was so flavorful, I couldn't believe it was just a raw piece of fish cause it tasted so flavorful. The octopus was SO tender but honestly the fennel that came along with it was the star of the show for me I had never had fennel before but wow it might be my new favorite vegetable? I gotta figure out how they cooked it because it was just so good. The mushroom flatbread was so good and we didn't even know it was gonna be a flatbread because all I saw was mushroom and truffles and i was like that's gonna be delicious! And I wasn't wrong, I LOVE truffle! The paella was also super delicious, it was very different from any paella I've had before and had a very distinct flavor to it. Idk how authentic it was but it sure was tasty! Finally for dessert we ended it with a blackberry basque cheesecake and churros. GUYS. The cheesecake was PHENOMENAL. It had a blackberry caramel that was one of the best dessert things I have ever had! My only complaint was I feel like there needed to be way more of the caramel! The cheesecake was also made of goat cheese, which is very unique and I think it made it a little bit pungent? But the blackberry caramel covered it up. Honestly I feel like I would put that caramel on any dessert and it would taste amazing! The churros were pretty average, the chocolate sauce was very rich and tasty but the actual churros weren't really anything I'm gonna remember in the future. The service was average, I think it could've been better but I think they were just really busy. The servers were all very nice! Overall, a great experience! Would recommend!

Avoid this restaurant for group events…read more We came to Iberian Pig Buckhead on a Thursday night for a friend's birthday dinner. The restaurant was practically empty, yet management insisted we meet a $1,000 minimum spend requirement. By the end of the meal, after multiple rounds of drinks and several courses of food, our group had spent around $400. When we spoke with the manager, Chris, and asked for some flexibility given that the restaurant was nearly vacant, he refused to budge. Instead, he suggested that we order more shots to reach the minimum. Apparently, encouraging a group to consume excessive amounts of alcohol was preferable to exercising basic common sense and customer service. What made the experience particularly frustrating was Chris's attitude. He repeatedly insisted that we were obligated to meet the minimum despite the fact that no one in our party had signed any contract or agreement. Rather than trying to find a fair solution, he seemed far more interested in squeezing additional money out of a birthday group than creating a positive guest experience. The irony is that this wasn't a packed Saturday night with limited seating. The restaurant was largely empty. There was no apparent business reason for such an inflexible approach--just poor judgment and even worse customer service. The food was fine, but management completely ruined the evening. There are too many great restaurants in Buckhead to spend your money somewhere that treats customers this way.
