I have been coming here for 20 years now. I like that the food has been consistently good and the service as well. Today my wife and I had the pleasure of being waited on by Savannah. She is a newer face but is one of their best! Friendly and on top of service. I'm usually there before the lunch hour so it's fairly quiet and plenty of seating but even at peak hours, it's not bad for lunch. Dinner sometimes has a wait but what do you expect when they have some great specials. Keep up the good work and keep Savannah, she's a keeper! read more

Came here with some friends after getting into Reno in the late evening. Our friend just moved to Reno and was telling us about their special steak. At first glance we thought the restaurant was closed, until Teresa greeted us. Let me say, she is such a sweetheart. She truly made our trip with how friendly and attentive she was. For late dinner/early breakfast I had the special steak and eggs. So they warn you that because it is a special there are no substitutions, fortunately my husband eats eggs. Overall it was filling (steak/hash browns/toast/ eggs*). I will say the steak reminded me of the ones they use to sell at the Dollar Tree (very thin but surprisingly tasty). Can't knock it unless you try it :D I actually would like to come back and try their other specials when visiting. read more

We made reservations for Easter Brunch buffet. We were seated right away. It wasn't too busy at 11am. We chose the buffet option, though they also were offering the full menu to order from. The food for the buffet was okay. Though the options were lacking. It wasn't a huge spread which i was expecting for the price. The prime rib was a little dry. And the other items were okay. Some dry from sitting under the heat lamp. They also had an omelette bar we didn't utilize. I really wanted to enjoy it, especially since it's so close to where we live but overall, it felt underwhelming and overpriced for the $49pp. read more

My party and I ordered the Campfire Breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage and ham. Another plate had delicious potatoes and bacon. Service was friendly and they even accommodated us having to move to a bigger table for more folks to join. Cindy and Sonia deserve all the praise! The restaurant is clean and well furnished and lighted. There was calm music and tv's all over for those who wanted a relaxing time. I'm personally not a fan of the wooden chairs but they worked fine for what they were, plus booths are an option. Christina was my waitress, she was very kind and professional. She was a joy the whole time to me! I don't remember the name of the burger I ordered, but it was very tasty, perfectly cooked, and was delivered in a good time. The waitress Laura has been working there for 25 years. She is so real and honest she is capable and knows what makes a good waitress. Today's servers are jerks who do not think the customer is always right. Well in the last 20 yrs of eating out I remember exactly 1 waitress and her name is "Old Lady Laura" her words. As a local, I've eaten here just a few times, but every time has been a good time. This is a sit down place and sometimes it's a bit of a wait, but it's a good chance for you to kick up your feet and chill. The portions are generous and they have weekly deals like spaghetti night, chicken dinner night, etc. Late night meals are a great comfort here and breakfast is made to stuff you! I have to say this place exceeded my expectations! I am always worried about casino restaurants and smoke smell, but for our table at least it was not a problem at all. They also allowed for a large party reservation on Sunday morning, which is already a win. Off the bat there was stellar service, they already had the table set up with two high chairs (which you'd be surprised how often it's not, even after you ask in your reservation), fast ordering and drinks + constant coffee top ups, and a super clean friendly atmosphere! Most of the food at our table was great--we had a variety of omelettes, burgers, pancakes etc AND they have blackberry jam in the caddy lol--but the chicken fried steak specifically was really underwhelming with basically no breading, and what was there wasn't crispy at all. But otherwise tasty! Seemed like lots of good weekly specials too, I think we'll be back! read more
