Ordered on the app for pick-up for lunch. The salad was ready in 10 min. This spot is take out only and is very convenient. Forks and bread in individualized packets are laying around for you to take. My portion was generous and there was a lot of chicken in the Kale Caesar.

Mediterranean bowl -- was delicious. I liked it!!

I ordered 4 Chopt bowls for my team during the lunch rush. Oh my gosh, it was hectic. Food wise -- tasty, fresh, and filling. To get your order in person? That was rough. I placed the order at least 45 minutes early? I arrived at the time they listed, but it was actually ready 5 minutes after the arrival time. That's not the issue. The issue was trying to get the food when there were so many other people trying to retrieve their meal. This isn't one of those lines at those burrito places where you can see the person going step by step through the line to make your food. This was "hey we'll call your number out and put it on the shelf" so no point in going there and beginning your order in person. When I arrived, the 4 bowls were not on the shelf that they mentioned. There were at least 50 people in that room. You really had to hustle to get in front of the 1 employee who was individually putting each bowl on the shelves as they were ready. Yeah.. ONE. If I didn't say anything to the employee, I may not have gotten my food until at least half an hour later even though it was sitting in a large bag (since it was a larger order) in the back of the closed off kitchen. Piece of advice: don't order here during lunch hours unless you are willing to speak up. Food wise -- great! I got the Mediterranean bowl. It was light, filling, flavorful withe different sauces, and had plenty of protein. I will definitely try more bowls in the future.

First time trying their wrap instead of a salad. The spicy sonoma caesar wrap was solid. I ordered for pick up directly on their website and it was ready to be picked up when I got there (which took less than 10 minutes). The store was busy and there's a couple of kiosks available to order in person (no place to sit or eat though). The salads are placed on the shelf whereas the wraps or other items are placed in a bag which can be picked up by letting the staff know. The wrap had a slight kick to it but manageable, and the chicken to salad ratio was just right.

First and foremost I ordered this meal and drove 40 min to get it. I have always praised your amazing salads. But this is the third bad experience I've had and this was it for me. As I am halfway through my meal, starving at this point, I begin to notice a lot of the lettuce seems old & tastes very plant like. Then I noticed a HAIR in it. This is beyond disgusting and outraging for a prestige restaurant as Chopt.

Chopt is what most American males are at an early age. What a nasty and painful practice. But it's not as bad as these salads. I'm not a fan of this salad chain at all. I think they have issues and by issues I don't mean in a good way. Or a Julia Michaels way which might even be better than the issues they do have. They charge you for toppings after the first few. Get real people. They give you very small portions at very high prices. Go away. There's salad often tastes a little dry or stale. Like why am I stale eating this? Stale Kale may rhyme but IT SUCKS. Their dressings are vinegarier than a tub of sulphuric acid in an Albanian mafia basement dissolving some informants. Their employees are usually not so friendly. So all in all it's just a bad salad company which is ironic since it was the very first of its kind and so many others have copied this business model. Plus one star for being healthy but honestly GTFO.

Custom Salad, not many options to choose from.
    Jessica H.

I ordered the custom salad. The only downsize is that they don't have cheddar cheese and they don't have many add-in options like most salad places. The Tex-mex ranch has great flavoring & a spicy kick to it ! It came out to $12.50 with just two extra add-in's. To me it's a bit pricey.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR OWN SALAD chain shop in NYC!! you can choose your own ingredients or choose one of the salads on the menu. you also have the option of making that salad into sandwich version they just opened this location near bryant park & today was the first training day LOVED IT. I got the kebab cobb salad with red wine vinaigrette PLUS added avocado & broccoli.. i love avocado & they are GENEROUS with it.. i saw them putting half an avocado into each salad! lots of options that you don't see elsewhere (even down to pita chips, feta cheese, kale, shrimp, etc).. my only gripe is this is a bit pricey if you customize.. it ADDS UP but the salad was large enough to last me 2 meals.. NOTE: the "flat bread" they offer on the side is like a whole wheat tortilla

Probably one of the better options for a tasty salad that isn't drowned in dressings and toppings. They go heavy on the greens and honestly the portions for the whole salad are spot on. I recommend getting a mix as they chop it up nicely for a homogeneous blend. Also the bread on the side was so good :)

A Hidden Gem That Completely Changed My Perspective on Vegan Food…read more Yesterday was my first visit to Le Botaniste, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. The storefront and fresh drinks first caught my attention, so I thought it was mostly a juice or beverage spot. The moment I walked inside, I realized it was so much more. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and everything looked incredibly fresh. You can immediately tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional customer service from Alan. He welcomed us with a smile, took the time to explain the menu, answered all of our questions, and gave us recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge and enthusiasm made choosing our meals easy. Alan recommended their most popular bowl, the Pasta Bolognese, and mentioned it was also his personal favorite. After just one bite, I understood why. It was rich, hearty, full of flavor, and if no one had told me it was vegan, I never would have guessed. It has officially become one of my favorite plant-based meals. For my mother, Alan recommended the seasonal Mediterranean Bowl, and it was another excellent choice. I asked her if she enjoyed it, and her response was simple: "Yes... and I want more." That pretty much says it all. The drinks were also fresh, refreshing, and paired perfectly with our meals. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their drink menu. Even if you're not vegan, don't let that stop you from trying this place. Le Botaniste proves that plant-based food can be comforting, satisfying, and packed with incredible flavor. A huge thank you to Alan for making our first visit such a memorable one. Great food is important, but great hospitality makes people want to come back. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.

The bright and beautiful neo-Victorian vibes complement the visually appealing displays of food and decor that recall a 19th century apothecary. With locations around NYC, as well as in Belgium where it all started, La Botaniste serves up "100% organic plant-based food." The bowls are pretty substantive and they have lighter starters/sides too for those who just want to dabble. You can choose one of their signature bowls (the Tibetan Mama, with its satisfying curry base, comes highly recommended), or build your own from a lineup of bases, sauces, toppings, dressings and garnishes. The food tastes fresh and clean, and I include this place in my rotation of healthy quick salad/bowl/vegetarian meal options in the neighborhood. I love that they have raw vegan treats, an increasingly rare find since several of my favorite raw vegan spots in the city closed down over the years. I'll admit I was first lured in by the antiquey aesthetic and the colorful vintage florals, but the food and environment are both very pleasurable.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. Burger ($20) with a gluten-free bun ($2). For the breakfast, the portobello mushrooms were the highlight of the dish. They were very juicy and had strong umami flavor! I love spinach even plain, but I think it could have used a touch more seasoning. The tofu scramble was seasoned, but it could either use more seasoning or more moisture. The corn muffins were dry and crumbly, definitely the worst part of the dish. My friend said that the sauce brought the burger together and hid the fact that it's a Beyond burger. She also mentioned that she didn't feel heavy after eating the burger, which was nice. Despite us telling the restaurant that we had to go to a musical, service was on the slower side. My friend also had to try several times to get to the bathroom, since someone was always inside. However, the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I would only recommend P.S. Sentir is 100% vegan, and I would confidently bring even my carnivore friends here without hesitation. If nobody told you it was vegan, you'd simply think you were eating some of the most creative, flavorful Mexican food you've ever had. It's that good. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can tell this isn't just another restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting without feeling pretentious. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind (thanks Camila who served us both days!), knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to talk about the menu and the other restaurants in the group. Their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction. The food completely exceeded every expectation we had. Every dish was beautifully presented, packed with bold flavors, and unlike anything we've had before. We found ourselves talking about every bite and immediately discussing what we'd come back to try... which ended up being less than 24 hours later. We were so excited by the food on our first visit that we completely forgot to take pictures! (It became a complete afterthought because we had already scarfed everything down. ) Thankfully, we redeemed ourselves on day two! The cocktails also deserve their own standing ovation. They're creative, beautifully crafted, and every bit as memorable as the food. If you're looking for a restaurant where every detail has clearly been thoughtfully considered from the atmosphere and service to the food and drinks, Sentir absolutely delivers. We travel to NYC often and almost never eat at the same restaurant twice because there are so many amazing places to try. The fact that we chose to come back the very next day says everything you need to know. Sentir has officially earned a permanent spot on our "must visit" list every time we're in that part of the city. What We Ate (and absolutely LOVED): Sentir Guac - Easily one of the freshest and most flavorful guacamoles we've ever had. It was served with chips and a deep fried tofu that was reminiscent of a "chicken skin" or something along those lines. I've never tried anything like it and it was good and unique! Carne Asada Tacos - Perfectly seasoned with amazing texture and incredible flavor. Al Pastor Chicken Tacos - Sweet, savory, smoky, and absolutely delicious. Cream of Corn - I wasn't expecting a bowl of corn to stand out the way it did. It was warm, comforting and cheesy. I just wish it came with something to dip with. Unfortunately too much was dripping through the fork and I wanted to savor it all! Chile Rellenos - Beautifully prepared with layers of flavor in every bite. It was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth! Tamal de Carne - Tender, comforting, and packed with incredible flavor. What We Drank: Sentir Michelada - One of the best my husband ever had. The chose Modelo as the beer Little Pitcher - This was a bunch drink. It had grapefruit & orange juice (among other things) but it was shockingly unique and dangerously easy to drink. Café con Ron - The perfect twist or play on an espresso martini but a million times better! Nutty Olivia - I believe this was on "special" and it was a mooth, creative, and another cocktail I'd order again in a heartbeat. It contains gin, which my husband doesn't like but he must have stolen at least 3 sips before I told him to worry about his own drink! Final thought: If a restaurant is good enough to make us skip trying somewhere new in New York City and instead return the very next day, that's about the highest compliment we can give. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or a lifelong meat eater, do yourself a favor go!!! I have a feeling you'll be planning your second visit before you even finish your first.

Beyond Sushi was in Midtown near where I was staying, so I ended up coming here---on Valentine's Day, which happened to be a mistake! Since I didn't have a reservation, the lady who checked me in told me I had to find a seat at the bar. Her attitude was not the best, as when I looked over the menu and made a decision on what I wanted to get, she dismissed me when I waved her over, saying she is not the person taking orders. Um, okay? Then who is? One guy at the bar was nicer, and was able to take my order. I started off with a hot tea since NYC was cold in February, and then decided to have as much as I could of two dishes---the "chicken" yakitori skewers and the Korean BBQ skillet. The skewers came in a set of two, with a white mayo-like sauce drizzle and pickled cucumber on the side. Super delectable, though very filling because of the protein! The skillet was made with classic Chunk Foods protein, the go-to plant-based option for all the meat dishes at City Roots restaurants as far as I know. This was incredibly filling, but the sauce and the texture were all around delicious as well. I could NOT bother to finish the brussels sprouts the skillet came with---way too much to stomach, and I was going to focus on the "meats" since I can always have brussels any other time! The bill by the end of it was PRICEY. That's why I only go to one of these restaurants as a special treat when I visit NYC. Watch out if you order hot tea...$13!! I guess that's the NYC way, but still!
