Ordered breakfast via a third party app. Everything came just as we ordered it. I got the Lox sandwich combo which came with 2 hash browns and a blueberry muffin. The hash browns were really good. I like how it has cheddar in the middle. The blueberry muffin was very moist but also had a good crumb to it. I got the lox sandwich with garlic bagel. The bagel was very garlic forward which I love and it was nice a toasty so it had a good crunch to it. My only negative about the sandwich is I wish they cut it in half so it's easier to bite. Also there wasn't much smoked salmon. I wish there was more so I had salmon with every bite. And the cream cheese got pretty messy. Overall, pretty good. I would order the lox sandwich again. I just hope there's improvement in the distribution of the smoked salmon.

Yummy Egg Sandwich and Iced Chai Latte! I got the Ham & Swiss Egg Sandwich on an Onion Bagel. The bagel's onion flavor was pretty good, it's not overpowering, and it tastes good with the ham, swiss, and egg. The ham, swiss, and egg tasted great. There were no issues there. There was no espresso the day I went, but it's okay because I got to try the Iced Chai Latte. The Iced Chai Latte tasted great, not too milky or too much cinnamon. The employees were very kind and helpful! I had two different employees take my order and help me at the register. They were both so nice. I had a different employee hand me my food and drink, and they were so helpful when I asked which drink spout was water. The cafe was really nice and clean. There's a lot of space, tons of chairs, tables, and booth seating. There were two different sections for ordering and paying which was a bit weird, but if it works for them, that's great! I would come here again! There's tons of different bagel sandwiches you can get, lots of fun drinks, and comfy seating. You never have to stand around and wait for a table. Service is also very fast!

The cold brew is AMAZING!! Literally the best people at the counter and they gave amazing service. Definitely have to go back to try their bagels!! Must try if you go to CSULB!

Lox onion bagel. Horrible the way they handle any kind of request. Too high and mighty crew.

Always decent lox bagel here until today. When i asked to have the bagel warmed up they left mine on the inside counter and not calling my name. The lady put the whole bagel with tomato and salmon inside the toaster machine. Horrible. I asked to have a new one. The "manager" Jake was rude yet he gave me the refund. Then asked me to throw away the bagel myself. What a joke of a manager. Rude. Since he refunded me, the bagel was there now. All good. I just took it and put it in the trash for them.

Came in early morning. We decided to try Einstein for coffee instead of the coffee bean and it's across our gym, planet fitness. Very disappointing. Food is good. Service is fair. We have told them that their coffee is not hot, it was just warm. No fixing!! Too bad you won't be having me back. Customer service is very important to me. I do not recommended. For bagel maybe. If the do better with their service. Ambiance is good. They are next to In & out & Cava.

Ambiance: It's what you'd expect in a bagel shop. It's a bit chaotic, though, a decent amount of seats, but it just seemed to be a lot happening all at once. I got my order to go so I wasn't there long. Service: I've never been to an Einsteins before, so it took me a minute to ingest the menu. Usually, I'd ask for assistance, but they didn't seem to be keen on offering up suggestions, so I went with what I assumed would be good. Ordered on one side... paid and picked up on the other. Food: They were promoting the brisket bagel breakfast sandwich, so that's what I went with. Fortunately for me, it was delicious, bagel was soft and chewy, brisket was flavorful. I'm not an egg person, so i took half off, but it was a solid sandwich that I'd definitely get again.

came in because I wanted to get a friend a coffee asked for no ice because didn't want it to be watered down this is what I got kinda upsetting they can't just fill the cup

I tried these bagels after a hospital dropped some off as a gift and I thought they were so good. So I came in today to share some with my family. Although, I looked through the menu, it was my first time ordering so it was a little rocky. Jake helped me out and I started off with the order and Jake asked if I wanted a bakers dozen (since my order was at 6 blueberry and 6 plain) I said yes and ordered a wheat bagel to complete the bakers dozen. He asked if I wanted them with cream cheese and I say no. In my defense, I say No thinking they are going to put cream cheese on all these damn bagels. He proceeded to walk away and I told him that I wanted to add more to the order and ordered 2 sandwiches. This interaction with Jake was not friendly but it also was not horrible he seemed really grumpy. So based on the layout, I proceeded to pay on the other end of the store. I asked the cashier "Do I just get the tubs of cream cheese now?" She said "Yes" so I did and finished paying. I took a seat and I was looking at the menu and was called up back to the register. I was told by the cashier I needed to pay for the cream cheese. I confused asked "Did I not get the cream cheese with the bakers dozen (because the menu says two tubs of cream cheese)?" She said "No". To be fair she seemed new and called Jake over. Jake is talking in this annoyed manner as he is explaining that he will do a refund and recharge everything" I say "Sure that's fine." As he is doing that I turned to the cashier and said " Sorry, I thought I bought the cream cheese that's why I asked you if I could grab it now". I kid you not Jake says in a rude tone " That's why I asked you over there if you wanted cream cheese" Honestly, because of his attitude I told him not to refund me that I would just pay for the cream cheese alone. This interaction made me feel like an idiot because I could not order correctly. So as he is ringing me up for the cream cheese I say " I'm sorry if that made you upset." I pay and he walks away. I ask the cashier who was still there if she could print me both receipts. She apologized and I went on my way. When I got home I noticed that none of the bagels were cut. I am not sure if I am suppose to asked for them to be but now I know. The food was delicious and have no complaints on that end. But man Jake really made me feel like I was the problem because he was so rude. Anyways, I write this review just to let you guys know that this is not okay and if staff are not happy maybe there is a conversation that needs to had between management and their staff's needs. But man what a horrible way to start my morning.

My husband had the farmhouse sandwich and it was good but not great. The eggs could use seasoning and the sauce was poorly dispersed, making it a pretty messy sandwich that shouldn't have been. I had an Asiago w onion chive shmear and it was good, but could have used a more generous shmear. The clerk forgot our coffees and we had to ask for them a could of times. The person taking our order didn't seem informed on how the rewards system worked for redeeming offers. The coffee station was depleted of 3 of its 4 varieties. While I understand one or two, 75% of their coffee canteens were totally empty. The win here was that our dog enjoyed her doggy bagel! If it wasn't for the doggy bagel, I'd likely have given a 3 star to this location. The atmosphere was kind of what you expect from a chain establishment. Overall cleanish and we'll stocked (aside from the coffee station).

Belmont Heights is so lucky to have great local businesses like this one…read more Ma 'n Pa Grocery is the cutest pop-up grocery around. They have all your typical liquor store needs: alcohol, sodas, snacks, beach items, etc. But they also come packed with fruits and veggies and favorite premade lunch/dinner items. You'll find an extensive selection of coleslaw, sandwiches, desserts, pre-marinated meats and more. I recently grabbed a turkey sandwich on a hoagie roll and a slice of lemon bundt cake (my payment for doing a social activity.) I noticed several people ordering their large steamed artichokes, so I'll need to return to fully understand the hype! Their catering menu is pretty extensive - it legit includes 20+ meat options. I definitely plan to take advantage of this when my parents visit next.
