My son and I had an awful experience at Hilltop Ford. At the beginning someone welcomed us and asked us what we were looking for? My son said we were looking for a Mustang to compare and if met our expectations possibly purchasing it. Mr. Powell went back to the office so we can do a test drive, my son is a young adult wanting to get a Mustang for the longest. At his returned Mr. Powell got a message from the dealer manager, he stated we are not allowed to do a test drive because of my son age 22 unless we were going to buy the car! "an expensive car" I could not believed what I've heard! We were humiliated and discriminated by the FORD, I do not agree with this statement at all, because not matter what age, ethnicity or believes a person has should not have been treated that way. read more

That used car manager is a total idiot! Rude and just a moron. We drove all the way from Fairfield because we had messages saying the car was $20k, but when we got there, they tried to charge us $24k. The car had stickers claiming one owner, but I showed him the Carfax report that clearly said there were three owners! He was so confused about the stickers saying "one owner" and the price of $27k, but on their website, it clearly said $24k. He didn't even know about the three owners! Don't trust these people. Had the car towed in for transmission issues because the transmissions and the Fords between 08 and 2014 are horrible, traded my O8 in for a 2014, still no luck, the 08 had transmission problems, now the 2014 does I was quoted $10,200 to fix it, when I found a shop to do it for 55 miraculously my quote went to $7500. Weird!! Don't do any maintenance here, find a shop that's reasonable and trustworthy, that quotes you correctly the first place, not somehow $2700 more, I asked two weeks ago for the Line items and never got them. We recently purchased a 2023 f150 raptor from hilltop ford and the experience was pleasant and with out drama and games. Jonathan and "B" were super easy to deal with and we left very happy with our purchase and what we got for our trade in. Think it took longer to PDI the truck for delivery than to make a deal and do all the paperwork work. We were so happy we went back 2 weeks later and purchased a wild track 2 door 2023 bronco from hilltop. Same experience, and Anisha was excellent sales rep to deal with. Again we were super happy and it's nice not having to spend countless wasted hours playing games to broker a deal. 5 star for the car buying experience here. We have purchased other cars from other ford dealers in the area but will not go back as hill top is hassle free. Scheduled Service. Took one of our vehicles for its oil change to hilltop and wow! What a change from other dealers we have had our cars serviced. George, the service manager I believe his name is, runs a tight shop there. You can see the teamwork just watching the goings on in the service bay. Their waiting room is a lounge. Complimentary coffee drinks, danishes, snacks etc plus multiple big screen tvs and comfortable seating. The lounge was tastefully decorated (as was the whole dealership) for Halloween. It's nice to see a dealership spend a little coin to give its patrons a high level of comfort. We weren't waiting long and communication from George's team was amazing. We went to hilltop as we were put off by our local ford dealer in both buying and service. We don't mind crossing the bridge from Marin to go to hilltop as they are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It's rare that you get service these days. After getting no response for a month. Finally got someone " Mike Curtis' to tell me to bring my car in to be checked out, after I had left numerous messages by phone and social media platforms that my cars front suddenly end felt unsafe. A slight twitch of the steering wheel and the body roll was unnerving and felt very unsafe. On arriving at Hilltop ford I had to wait for Curtis for 20 mins. He then said he wanted a mechanic to drive the car, which he did. The mechanic told Curtis and I that there was a problem, probably a blown strut! This this would explain the body roll. This explanation wasn't what Curtis wanted to hear so he took another mechanic aside, then told me he also was going to drive the Explorer . This mechanic returned saying there was nothing wrong with the car! Curtis liked this report. Then I was whitewashed and told it was SAFE to drive! Then they were done talking about it. MY CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY when I first reached out to them trying to get it in to be looked at. I then took the Explorer to two independent shops who both told me blown struts and UNSAFE to drive. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from people whom we give our money to and entrust our lives! read more

I took my 2020 car in for repair since I had a flat tire. I went ahead and paid $300 FOR ONE TIRE. upon completion I noticed many safety system lights still on. The tech "expert" Manny said just drive it will go away. This was a blatant lie. They didn't even take the time to inspect my car. I was just rushed out, while pieces of my car were falling off. I took my car back because of the lights on my dashboard were still not going off. Also common sense told me he was lying, Anti Break Systems don't just fix themselves. Upon further inspection my car had $5000 worth of damage. Not only did the tech lie to my face he also caused more damage to my car. So $5,300 later my car is finally "fixed" yet the assistant manager Noelle refused to redeem my coupons totaling over $400 since everyone had gone home. Now my car has a horrible squealing noice from the brake system. Yet I was told it was just a tire. It's very unfortunate this company has no integrity or honesty. I'm now dealing with insurance to fix an error that FORD blatantly disregarded. Stay away from this place unless you want to deal with the stress of 2020 all over again. Because trust me they don't have anyone's interest at heart but there paychecks. read more
