all you can eat meat selections.

Wonderful all you can eat, service and price are good, the only problem was that some joker poured tequila in their sauces.. San Francisco ... what can you do? Most of their clientele were older because we ate an early dinner (lots of stuff to do for the lunar new year).. Meats were good, but didn't care for the American Waygu.

My daughter, friend and I were in the mood for Hot Pot. We had heard good things about this place so decided to stop by on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy surprisingly. We were greeted and seated right away. The place looked clean and organized. It was a little cold though. We each ordered different broths which were all flavorful. They had a sauce bar and the hot pot items are ordered from an app. Each person in your party scans the QR menu and then add items. Everything was fresh. I loved the sauce bar. We didn't get to try the Korean BBQ but will the next time.

We came here for my friends birthday. They charge you around 37 per person and it's all you can eat. Everything was good but the kitchen closed midway and they told us that the kitchen was closing and it stressed us out a bit which shifted the vibe. Other than that the staff are so nice and the food is yummy. The watermelon drink was so good and the boba was good

Watched superbowl here. Pretty good hotpot + grill ayce place in sunset district. This one does the grill right, like their grill which seems to be ceramic or titanium that doesn't stick and burn easily. Marinate and thickness are about right. For hotpot variety is pretty good, standout is the large selection of soup varieties (but doesn't seem to have strong flavor, rather mild). Meat is fine though not much standout. Desert there is mochi ice cream. They biang biang hand pulled noodles are fun and good texture, though it is very hard to find very good biang biang noodles. Korean short ribs wasn't enough done, still had some rare bits. A lot of things to try though not top notch, but who is.

Tomato Soup Base and Winter Melon Pork Bone Soup Base

Went on a Wednesday night for AYCE hot pot. Since it's getting late, there were only around 5 occupied tables. We ordered 2 rounds and each time the dishes came out promptly. We had the tomato soup base and the winter melon pork bone soup base and both were good. The wagyu beef was fresh and soft. There was also a great variety, from mushrooms, tofu, sweet potatoes and assorted vegetables to mussels, noodles, and pork, to choose from. They also had great already-cooked dishes and desserts. I especially like the fried buns and pumpkin parrake. I thought the price of under $38/person for the AYCE was decent and reasonable. The price covered all food except drinks. A shout out to the young waiter with brown curly hair. With a big smile, he was very friendly, attentive, and helpful.

The dirty plate they served me

I don't understand how this place is ranked so highly. When we got started, I noticed that 2 of the 4 plates were dirty. The sauce bar looked very unclean, and some ingredients seemed to have gone bad. We ordered several items that we never received, even after politely reminding the servers. The food quality was mediocre--I ordered the steamed pork buns, and they came out cold in the middle. The broth was extremely diluted, so you're essentially cooking in plain water. That said, the servers were very kind, but the restaurant's system is clearly not working. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

Hotpot and KBBQ on one table

Great experience at this place! Upon getting seated, we scanned the QR code to look at what's available (it's the same price for whether you eat both KBBQ and hotpot or only one type) to order everything and within minutes the food started coming out. Servers were great at handling our large orders of meat and sides, changing out our grill once it got too burnt, and also refilling our water cups. Sauce bar also had side dishes like fruit and kimchi / seaweed salad. We asked them to do something special for our friend whose birthday we were celebrating, so they played the Happy birthday song and also gave a discount on our bill! If you plan on coming with a large party, you can also sign up for their free membership with a phone number and get 5% cash back and reward points for future visits

We came here at night on Wednesday, and here's my experience: 1. Ambiance (4/5) The restaurant had a casual vibe and was quite busy when we arrived. It was clean and had plenty of seating. 2. Service (5/5) The service was excellent. We got a table for five quickly because we had already joined the waitlist on Yelp. All the staff were friendly and super attentive. Great service here! :) 3. Food (4/5) - Hot Pot (5/5):We ordered the Tom Yum and Miso hot pots. The broth was delicious and had an authentic, rich flavor. The meat was tender and fresh, and the vegetables were good too. I truly recommend the hot pot here! - BBQ (3/5): Personally, I didn't like the way the meat was seasoned. I prefer it unseasoned so you can taste the freshness of the meat. I also wish they had more variety in the meat options, lettuce, and vegetables. - Appetizer: It was okay, but our grilled ribs were super chewy :( - Drinks & Dessert (2/5): The drinks and desserts were way too sweet for us -- the boba tea, ice cream, and jelly.:( Overall: I definitely recommend the hot pot -- it was hella good! The servers were very nice and helpful. One downside was that the drinks and desserts were really sweet for us. Next time, I'd try a different broth!

Didn't even get to eat here due to the wait time for people with reservations We had a 7:00 pm reservation on Saturday (booked through Resy). The app showed plenty of availability, so we expected things to run on time. When we arrived, it was difficult to even check in, there didn't seem to be a dedicated host, and the person handling check-ins was also waiting tables. When we finally got to check in, we were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait. After 10 minutes, we checked again and got the same answer. We also noticed that tables seated at 7:00 were still waiting for their server 20 minutes later with no food. By 7:35, we were told our table was "almost ready," but we had other plans at 9:00 and decided to leave. Can't comment on the food or the ambiance, but the service and organization really need work. It seems like they're overbooking reservations, which is frustrating for guests who plan ahead. I can totally understand a 10-15 min hold up but 30+ min is a bit much.

Looking for an AYCE hot pot and KBBQ? iPot is the place. I haven't been here in a few years and noticed a few things changed on their menu&service. They have one person from the table sign an agreement form that you know the pot/stove is hot. I usually do the AYCE hot pot. They have a variety of meats, veggies and noodles. They have a self service sauce bar with other appetizers (oranges, kimchi and etc).

Food is great and generously served. The service is top notch. My server Audrey is beautiful and friendly. She made me feel like I was a kid in a candy store. She helped me and gave me the best experience. The place is big and spacious. I truly appreciate and recommend making this a part of your destination when you are in the mood for AYCE Barbecue and Hot Pot .

Yesterday, May 28, 2026, it was announced that INTERNATIONAL Smoke officially shuttered as of…read moreWednesday, May 20, 2026. If you ask me, this comes as no surprise at all. Located on the ground floor of the infamous leaning Milennium Tower in San Francisco's Financial District, INTERNATIONAL Smoke was Michael Mina's fine dining barbecue restaurant collaboration with multi-hyphenate entrepreneur Ayesha Curry. I visited this place once, for a small dinner party hosted by Charles Schwab on Tuesday, October 14, 2024. We arrived shortly after 6:35 PM. The atmosphere was modern, but casual and hip, funky with exposed metal accents popping through concrete floors and columns. Evidently, the fully booked days were behind them - despite the place's popularity as a fun, lively eatery with the occasional celebrity spotting, the restaurant was fairly quiet that night and not a single person was at the bar. We were seated in the spacious Atrium with floor to ceiling windows. INTERNATIONAL Smoke was not your traditional barbecue restaurant. They presented a globally-inspired grill-centric carte inspired by the rich heritages of the co-founders. The globetrotting meat dishes highlighted diverse international flame-cooking and smoking traditions. The ambitiously broad menu intended to take diners on a culinary journey around the world, but, instead, delivered a disjointed and scattered passport. Similar to the food offerings, INTERNATIONAL Smoke's drink catalogue featured some rotating crafted cocktails that leaned into global flavours, such as KUNG FU PANDAN ($18) and MIDNIGHT IN OAXACA ($20). Boozy beverages like TICKLE ME PINK ($19), NEGRONI ($19), and the ESPRESSO MARTINI ($20) were enjoyed by some of my tablemates. A couple of us stuck to the ZERO PROOF potables like the BUZZ FREE BEE ($15) and RASPBERRY FIELDS ($12) of which the latter I found to be delightful. Cool ice cubes, too! Below are a few of the dishes that we ordered: DOUBLE DUCK WINGS ($28) - I don't eat duck, but my dining mates raved over the tender mango-habanero glazed meat that was falling off the bones. BLACK TRUFFLE CAESAR ($20) - This was a substantial serving, and the sweet onion crema, fried garlic, and truffle vinaigrette all worked well together. ROASTED CAULIFLOWER ($18) - Meh. Perhaps my prejudice against raisins and tehina got in the way of enjoying this STARTER. BLISTERED SHISHITO PEPPERS ($16) - There was not a single blister on any of the peppers, so, unfortunately, the expected smoky, charred flavour was completely absent. MISO YAKI BLACK COD ($48) - This order came with two considerable sized filets of the velvety soft and flaky fish served atop mild shishito peppers sitting in a light ginger dashi broth. It could have just been me, but one of the slices looked a bit undercooked. DUNGENESS CRAB GARLIC NOODLES ($45) - Joanna went with this rich, buttery dish of noodles tossed with wood ear mushrooms, generous portions of Dungeness crab, and heavily garlicked. It was hearty, but I didn't see any bok choy mixed in there, which would have disappointed me if I were Joanna. PERI PERI HALF CHICKEN ($39) - Dustin ordered this dish. The poultry appeared to be well marinated, so I can only assume that the deep, fiery acidic flavour with the pronounced smoky element came through in each bite. Surprisingly, no rants nor raves on this from Dustin...who is usually very opinionated. PORK BELLY FRIED RICE ($17) - Not the worst, but not the best. For the small bowl, this was a major rip off. FRIED BRUSSELS SPROUTS ($15) - Wow, for the price, this should have knocked our socks off, but was pretty lackluster. 8 OZ. CENTER CUT FILET MIGNON ($68) - I ordered this steak plate. The meat was cooked perfectly medium rare, but the taste of the red wine demi and the stuffed portobello mushroom were unremarkable. LEMON OLIVE OIL CAKE ($14) - This did not stray far from the standard olive oil cake, just a touch of lemon added to the cake's flavour + the pluot garnishes. Nothing standout about this, unintriguing. "SMOKED" CHOCOLATE S'MORES ($14) - Not your typical s'mores, more of an elevated take on the campfire classic with a valrhona molten cake sitting atop brûléed marshmallow fluff with a side of graham cracker crumble and a scoop of ice cream. CINNAMON CHURROS ($13) - The accompanying blueberry cheesecake and meyer lemon curd dips were the sole unique elements of this sugar-dusted fried pastry dessert. Without them, this plate would have been underwhelming. Mediocre food at high-end prices aside, table service was friendly. What was all the hype over INTERNATIONAL Smoke? My true guess is that the affiliation with Steph Curry and his basketball friends who would pop in were the big draw...because even with all of the smoking, this place had no fire.

It was fun being able to add the pot and taste it as you go. The chicken and the fish balls were my favorite. The shrimp was also delicious. Came here last night to celebrate a friend's birthday. Had poor experiences at the Livermore…read morelocation in the past, so wasnt really expecting much from this spot either. Granted we were a bit late for our reservation, we ended up having to wait another 30-40 mins. The place (2nd floor) is small & awkward. We were all cramped waiting on the stairway and the actual seating area is also fairly small for a busy KBBQ place/big parties. The 8 of us squeezed into a booth with 2 chairs on the side. You can also feel whenever the table next to us got up and stomped/yelled/moved in their chairs-- which was really often. The basic AYCE menu is fairly limited-- esp for the side options. The marinated meats were pretty good as was the tteokbokki. Side & meat portions were alright, but the kicker is having to flag down staff to make sure they put in the order & bring it out. We asked for japchae about 5 times before it actually reached our table towards the end of our meal. The server/manager also told us that he had accidentally brought out 2 bottles of soju for us and that he'd COMP 1 bottle. We didnt notice that he had actually charged us for 2 and comped/subtracted a "third" one. So none were really comped at all. I just realized after we paid and that felt really sketchy. Idk if it's worth coming back here.

The food is amazingly good! Dino bone, brisket, sausage. All great!…read more The banana pudding is different from others, but quite good.

My husband and I arrived to the back of the line on a gorgeous Saturday morning at about 11:45 AM…read more The line was already quite long, even before doors opened at noon. We had a group of friends meeting there at 1 PM to celebrate my husbands birthday. This was everyone's first time trying Fikscue While in line we grabbed some beers and Micheladas at Alameda Brewing. Around this time, a very sweet kind lady (maybe the owner?) came out and thanked the crowd for patiently waiting. I took the opportunity to ask her how long the wait from where we were would be. She estimated around 45 minutes. It turned out to be more around 1.5 hours. But we knew her answer was just an estimate. We ordered everything except drinks on the menu. And a lot of it. The meat was premium, juicy and tender. The smoky flavor really penetrated to the bone. We really enjoy the banana pudding dessert (not pictured). This location is cleverly located in between two breweries which is great because you can grab your food and a beer at either breweries. This bussiness seemed to cultivate community and an overall great spot to gather. The only negative experience our group had was with a couple in line in front of us. We were large group (8 people and 3 kids) and a friend accidently bumped into the couple in front of us twice. We were trying to take a group picture and bumped into the man. This grown man cursed us out calling us "effing idiots" and many other ridiculous names. Look we are all here trying to enjoy a delicious neighborhood mom and pop. Things happen, if you cannot be kind to your neighbor in line, stay home and order delivery. Accidents happen! No one got hurt. Besides that unsavory interaction, this turned out to be a great afternoon for all. We will definitely come back to try the desserts and beef cheeks.
