Let's me just start off by saying everything about my visit right now was in a jiffy!!! David greeted me at my car, checked me in, showed me to the waiting area. QUICK STOP (4 stars) 1. Needed a quick top-off 2. Needed to have my tires checked 3. Needed it done ASAP After beaching it up in Laguna and on my way out, stopped here for a quick check. Prior to this day, my car has racked up miles. On top of that, days prior, I was seconds away from a head-on collision that probably would have taken my damn life (and exactly the day of my birthday - scary sh*t). Swerving, skidding, and spinning on SD 805 hwy was not fun. They were kind enough to check my tire pressure and tell me I'll be fine and can change my tires when I get back to the Bay. No line! Check their website for coupons!! I got a coupon texted to my cell and when I was checking out showed it to them and got $16 off my oil change! Instead of $40ish it was about $23. I came in expecting there to be a long wait, but there were 3 people working on my car. A technician came in and told me that I needed my air filters and wiper blades replaced but everything else was fine... Which is weird because when I told my dad he said that he already replaced the filter 2 months ago. Anyway, that aside, the waiting lounge was clean. There was even a little game that kids could play. Unfortunately there was no coffee but that was fine, we only had to wait 15 minutes anyway. They did a good job of wiping down my windows and vacuuming! The technician mentioned that if I needed any fluid topoffs, I could come back before 3,000 miles and they would do it for free! I always come here when I need to get a quick oil change. I hate running car maintenance errands.. I'm so lazy! It's even worse when places require appointments because I usually just go whenever I have time instead of planning ahead. Therefore, I like that this jiffy lube always gets the job done fast and easy! Without making any appointment, I can get an oil change done in approx 30 min. Also, make sure you check online or their Yelp page for coupons. It usually costs me around $30. The guys here don't try to sell me on anything else and go straight to business. Complete waste of time. I called them before driving there and asked them if they do oil change on BMW 3 series diesel car and they told me that they did and to just come on down and they would work on it. Drove 20 mins to that location on Irvine center drive and the person who greeted me right away said they did not work on diesel vehicle. What a waste of time? Most Jiffy Lubes are pretty solid. Not sure what happened here. It was pouring rain. Two bays were open and there was only one guy in the waiting room. This should be quick, right?? This was my first non-dealership oil change with this car. I opted for full synthetic (since I wasn't sure if the dealership used full synthetic or a blend). I DID know that the Toyota dealership only changed the oil every 10,000 miles (as part of my pre-paid maintenance), so I asked that Jiffy Lube put a sticker on the car to reflect a 10,000-mile oil change interval. The guy hemmed and hawed. "The computer won't let me..." but eventually he figured it out. I expected that they'd try to upsell me to other maintenance services (and they did...two different times). I declined new wipers and a new cabin air filter. Did I mention the coffeemaker was busted? It would've been nice to have a cup of coffee on a cold, rainy day, but I guess things break. About 40 minutes later (why so long??), they told me my car was ready. I had a coupon that I had printed directly from JiffyLube's site that morning. Hmmm. The code was expired or invalid. I asked that they re-run it - or take off the $15 some other way - and then he figured it out. Nothing spectacular, nothing tragic. But just enough "hmmm" moments for a mixed review. read more

It's a little hard to muster up enthusiasm for taking my car in for an oil change, but this location of Jiffy Lube & the manager, David, make it easier. They are super friendly and very efficient - I've never waited longer than 30 minutes, but they're also thorough and I don't feel like they're abandoning care for speed. I also never feel like I'm being pushed to get services I don't need. They'll explain what and why they're doing something and even show you why it's needed if they can. They always vacuum out my car and clean my windows too, which I very much appreciate! read more

Stopped in for an oil change and was greeted by a very friendly and professional employee that immediately signed me in, went over pricing and the different types of services. I was out of there in 30 minutes and was told to come back for free top offs or air in my tires. They were so nice and very accommodating. I have used this oil change place 2 times with my current vehicle (plenty more times before that with my last car). Both times, they added too much oil. No fault of their own but their system shows to put 5.4Ls but my vehicle only takes 5.0L. The first time, I didn't realize it was an issue but had a multi-point inspection done soon after. The second time happened this past Feb. I noticed an issue with the performance of my car, brought it in to the dealership and again they indicated it was over filled with oil. I called the branch to warn them of this issue. I don't want other motorist to have their vehicles over filled because of an error in their system. The person I spoke to didn't seem to understand the situation and was unwilling to look into the situation. read more

This is the second time I've been to this Jiffy Lube location. The first time, I went in for an oil change and had no problems, and I was pleased that I found a place to take my car that wasn't the dealership. This last time I went for an oil change and ended up with a screw in my tire leading to a flat tire needing to be replaced. Very frustrated with a quick oil change turning into a day long issue due to just not maintaining a clean work environment. Employees were nice and the oil change was done quickly but I don't think I'll return just do to feeling like I can't trust them to keep a clean shop. read more
