This place has become my new addiction in the last month and a half...no joke! 5 stars is for the sandwich and to go food...obviously this is not a fine dining establishment:) the ingredients are so super fresh and consistent...I will never eat another subway sandwich again! Seriously from the bread to the meats and veggies on the sandwich, to their own line of chips, this place has got me hooked! And the coolest part is that by the time you are finished paying, your sandwich is waiting for you at the counter. This is the second time I've had Jimmy John's (once another location in DTLA). This place is not crazy fast like they say. They take your order quick, but food comes out decent time. Not as quick as their commercials make it seem. Still had to wait around 10 mins. Which is fine. They did forget my cousins delivery order (he waited over 1 hour) and since I came by we just decided to go eat there instead and ask about his order. It seemed like they forgot about it, I'm not sure how but I digress. When I got my sandwich they forgot to bring my pickle with the order and took a few more minutes to come back out with it. I got the gargantuan sandwich because 8inches of everything else was too small. I'm a big man and eat a lot. Would be nice to have an option for a bigger sandwich. I'll say though it did fill me up with a pickle, chips and a drink. The sandwich was good, but nothing to rave about. Filled with basically every type of meat. But it was kind dry, needed more sauces or some time of juices. The whole meal cost me around $15 dollars. Not how much I want to spend but I understand their in Beverly Hills. They make the tastiest sandwich I tried the ham sandwich with mayo, white cheese, fresh lettuce leaves, and fresh tomato. Seems like a normal thing right? Nope they make their own bread and now I think I'm obsessed. Oh and they don't preslice their meat, and serve fresh cut in house veggies. Back to the bread it doesn't have that spongy, aftertaste like other sandwich places- like subway, which is a couple doors down. They have affordable prices too and a nice area to sit. It's new to the block, it's fresh, and delicious! I didn't expect anything before I went but I'm glad I found my sandwich place, the freshness is unreal. I'm sayin you gots ta try it! read more

Disappointed. I love Jimmy Johns and am a frequent patron. I've never been to the Beverly Hills location and will not return. The bread was not fresh. I wouldn't say it was hard as a rock, but it definitely wasn't as soft as it should be. Parking was also difficult, no parking lot so you have to find street parking. No thanks! read more

I ate here three times, each time I asked for peppers on the side and each time I was turned down, it's company policy. They said that they have to put the extra peppers inside the sandwich, I told them what if I like to control how much pepper I get in each bite, and I got the same answer, company policy. Several things wrong with what they do here but I'm going to highlight the OBNOXIOUS. Your sandwiches are $5.75 or $7.50. On what planet is $2.50 for bacon not complete insanity??? So I have a normal sandwich made, then to add what I'm guessing is 4 thin slices of bacon, the sandwich cost goes up 50%? Next problem: totally tuna- $5.75 Club tuna- $7.50. The descriptions for the sandwiches are identical, except the club has provolone on it. THREE thin slices of provolone... For almost 2 dollars. I have ate lunch at this location twice now. I love getting an entire boxed meal and drink for a reasonable price. Jimmy John's is significantly better than Subway. The staff are warm and friendly, and the speed of service is excellent. The sandwiches are super fresh and packed with meat. The potato chips are barely greasy at all because they are cooked in peanut oil. Definitely the best potato chips which I have ever had. read more

ok so i only decided to stop by because i was hungry, didn't want to spend much $$ on food and was already next to it while getting some coffee (priorities). i walked in and there was hardly anyone inside. keep in mind this was about 2:30 so that awkward time between lunch and dinner i guess. after scanning the menu, i chose the "Vito". It wasn't that bad but it's honestly a cheap version of the italian at Jersey Mikes (which I think is good but not great). I'm not saying anything is BAD about the sandwich but it's just nothing special by any means. only complaints: barely any meat. i felt like i was eating a lettuce sandwich. I ended up opening up the sandwich, folding the meat to one side and eating half the bread with the meat and lettuce. even doubled, i'd bet money there's more meat for your money at Jersey Mikes. Had a great experience at a JJ in Seattle, and was excited when I saw one open up in my hood. Sadly, my wife and I were both let down by the crappy service and mediocre sandwiches. The staff must have been imported from the east coast, since they have no concept of friendly customer service. A pickle is $1.29, the only cheese is provolone, and don't bother asking for a sample. Sandwiches come out quickly to your surprise but when you open it up to eat, you realize why. So i ordered a 'BLT' with Xtra bacon and smeared avocado... well, you tell me from the photo if there's extra bacon there, the avocado isn't even visible idk if its supposed to be invisible at all. The sandwich was so dry i had a hard time swallowing it. I would give zero if I could. I sit here watching my husband cringe as he eats his tasteless sandwich. I couldn't even stomach mine and gave it to a homeless person. We don't have a Jimmy John's in our area so when we're near one, we go just to get a break from our usual Jersey Mike's or Subway when we want a sub sandwich. The bread is good and fresh but skinnier than Subway bread and the portion of meat/cheese is pretty thin. The prices are fair so if you want a hearty sandwich I would go for the giant size or add extra meat/cheese to the 8 inch (which would make it like a normal sandwich). The Beverly Hills location is on a corner so parking is tricky on weekends and lunch/dinner time. Service is quick and friendly. read more

The crew were all very friendly with each other, lots of laughter, didn't feel excluded. It was fun. I talked with the manager about working there, even. We split a #12 beach club with extra cheese and extra mayo. Like most jimmy johns that I have been to, this one did not disappoint. You could taste that the bread was freshly baked. The toppings were all fresh and tasty. They even cut the sandwich in have which made it much easier to share (not that I wanted to!). I called and spoke with Martin and he gave the most sincere apology and delivered the correct sandwich to me at work the following day. This will definitely be my lunch spot.
