If it wasn't for my mom who wanted to come here for Mother's Day, I probably would not set foot here. It's not that I had high expectations coming here but I left feeling like I wasted time and money. I'm sorry but life is too short for mediocre food. It doesn't help that I don't eat meat either. So my plates were full of fried rice, steamed corn and questionable sushi. I had a few bites of the crab legs which did not taste fresh...but then again why would I expect anything else? I thought dessert would rectify my experience but I seriously could not go past the first bite. I don't even remember what random sweets I got. I do remember the flan....oh gawd, don't even. My biggest pet peeve above all else.....is the 3 people restroom. One could only imagine a long line in the ladies room (as always at any place). I just don't understand how a restaurant this size that probably seats a few hundred people only has 3 people restroom. Service wasn't all that great either. If you're looking to eat crab, King Crab, and looking for a fresh tasting and endless supply... LOOK NO FURTHER! This is the pace for you! If you're allergic to shellfish (like me) and given the option to go... DON'T GO!!! (This explains the low score I'm giving this restaurant.) Thinking it to be a normal buffet and grill, I went after an event and was nearly knocked out at the door by the strong sea food smell inside. There are rows of food, fruits, sushi, a chocolate fountain, and a Mongolian grill station with plenty of meat options and veggies to choose from. For me, it was a bit of a hellish experience that I just kick myself for. My biggest woe was the Mongolian grill station. I chose out my meats and veggies, and put it out for the chef to make. As he picked up the plate, someone else arrived with shellfish on their plate. Noticing this, I waved my hands and got his attention, letting him know I had a sea food allergy and if he could use different spatulas to cook our meals. He nodded and so, I thought everything was ok. Until he dumped the plates next to each other and used the same spatulas to cook both plates. Distraught and trying to get his attention, he ignored me and it was strange since there wasn't a line and no rush. I asked the hostess if my food could be cooked elsewhere, cleaner, and she said it was impossible. She told me to make a plate and set it aside and she would ask the chef to cook it later, after cleaning the grill and changing his spatulas, when the rush died down. I was reluctant but curious about what would happen. So, I made a plate of food and handed it to the chef, once again. And, although the hostess did give him new spatulas, he used the part of the grill the other lady had her food on to cook my meal. I tried not to think about that, hoping he had actually cleaned it, but my reaction minutes after the first bite made me regret it. I had pills on me, so I quickly swallowed it. But this situation made me quite upset. I do understand that it's a sea food heavy location, but due to the event, I had no choice but to go and try to eat. For them not to take into consideration the serious dangers of food allergies crushed my hopes of a peaceful and delightful meal. The cross-contamination of many of the foods was a bit disgusting to me. I saw someone pick up food and put it in their plate, touching some other food items, and then put it back after sniffing it. It was disturbing and... sadly, their fruit wasn't that fresh either. Overall, I can't bring myself to give them more stars because their star dish is something I can't eat and the rest of their services is severely lacking (no one smiled). Not taking food allergies seriously is sad and can cause them troubles in the future. I hope they can improve and make their buffet a better place for EVERYONE. When my family and I arrived we were told that the food was going to be put away at 9:30 and that we would only get 45-55 minutes to grab food. We said that was alright and as we paid the employees began removing all of the sushi and serving spoons. The family that had arrived 10 minutes before us told us that they were also not informed the the removal of the food would begin over an hour before the restaurant closed. My family was only able to grab a plate of food each which consisted of cold chicken and some stir-fried noodles. While we were eating the employees would speak negatively about us and at 9:30 they told us we needed to leave since the staff needed to begin cleaning. There hours on google state that they close at 10:00 pm. Had they told my family that there hours changed and that they now close at 9:30, we would have just gone the next day. My partner had just left to the restroom when they told us that we needed to leave and when I tried to explain that I was simply waiting for him they ignored me. While I was waiting for him I stopped by the ice cream where the other family was and decided to grab a scoop of ice cream. The employees then came to tell us that they were closed. I am extremely disappointed in their services, attitudes, and food quality. If they wanted to leave by 9:40 they could have told us rather than charged us and then stand near the table and watch while we ate. read more

Telling us we weren't allowed to grab from the dinner options if wanted to upgrade to dinner would be additional $5. This is a big restaurant which means the buffet selection should match. And it does. The Asian and Western food selection attracted many diners the Sunday we went, not just Chinese. Favorite here was the pork bone and watercress soup. The steamed white fish was good and there's a salmon steamed too. The desserts are pretty good to: coconut jello, egg custard and profiteroles. There's a salad bar which I didn't try, but I did load up on the cooked asparagus. After about 4 spears that sticky sweet teriyaki sauce was to much. That recipe needs to go! You can't go wrong with fried chicken wings and fries... Yep I had a small plate of that to refresh my palate before getting into dessert. Of the other items: I'm not a big fan of Mongolian custom stir fry but the ingredients were plentiful if you're into that. There's a Taiwanese deli selection with pig's ear. That was ok. Had tastier.The sushi was hit and miss and the Saba mackerel was not so meaty. Sam was ok after her meal, but I got a bit of an upset stomach. Probably my selection didn't agree with me. The restaurant itself was so dirty, there's food all over the floors, and chocolate fountain is a disaster. The food is not good at all. Sushi doesn't look fresh at all, and the avocado was all browned up. There's a ham roast as well, that tasted like rubber and plastic. There is an entire spread of a Chinese dishes, Sushi, salad, fruits and Chinese delicacy dishes (fungus, pig ears, chicken feet and much more). As the the taste, it was a hit or miss. Then there was the small american section with chicken tenders, chicken nuggets, french fries, etc. Then they had some baos, shau mai, and other types of fish maw soup. I think the food overall was mediocre. I have had way better and I have had worse. There were some foods that were a hit or miss here. I really enjoyed the baked mussels, baked clams, oysters, orange chicken, honey shrimp, chow mein, and the cocktail shrimp. I didn't like how the stations were super dirty, especially the king crab leg area. The tongs were super dirty, filled with excess food. The counters were filled with scrap bits of the sushi and the crab/shrimp station was all wet and the floors were filled with shrimps that have fell on the floor. Under $20 per person for dinner. This place gets PACKED! Especially after 7pm. This was my second time here, and it's pretty good for the price. One section is hot foods, and the other side of the restaurant is cold foods. Hot section: Mongolian bbq station, DIY carved meat, standard fare chinese dishes, small section of American deep fried foods (even pizza), small section of dim sum goodies, and soups. Cold section: snow crab legs, sushi, salad bar, dessert bar. The counters are not the cleanest... but they seem to constantly refill the foods. Plates are small... so you're constantly getting up to refill them. My faves are probably the stir fried crab, coconut shrimp, spicy sea snails (giant!), short ribs, Peking duck, sesame balls, and all the dim sum offerings. Snow crab legs aren't the best I ever had. I have tried many different/similar buffet restaurants and this would be my #1 place. From BBQ, sushi, variety of rolls, salad bar, dumplings, soups, fruits, desserts.. you name it, they have it... I recommend avoiding lunch hour and dinner hour since it gets really busy and expect long wait. Before they use to have leech but I didn't see it this time. I had the worst experience at this buffet. They have signs that say that they follow covid guidelines, meaning that they require masks when not eating. They also had a sign that said that the customers have to be vaccinated to dine in but they did not check our vaccination cards nor anyone else's. I went with a party of four for my birthday. I saw customers serving themselves without masks. I had to tell a staff member to reinforce the masks guidelines because we are handling food, and they would tell the people to put their masks on. The staff was not at all reinforcing the guidelines and they seemed to not care until I brought it to their attention. Then an incident really crossed the line. We saw a man WITHOUT a mask wiping his nose with the palm of his hand, wiping his drippings on his shirt, and grabbed the utensils to serve himself food. When he went back to his seat, he had balls of tissue on his table. Not only was that disgusting but it's covid! None of the staff, including the manager, cared at all!! I talked to the manager about the incident and she said she can't control people's actions. But I told her you can refuse service for people who don't follow the county guidelines. I also asked for a refund because we were there for 15 minutes and barely ate any of our food. She refused. I asked to speak to the owner and she refused to give me their number and instead claimed that they never see them and the owners only call, "there was no number to call them directly". Ridiculous. We have been going to this restaurant before Covid19 hits. It has always been a favorite. They used to have oysters and crab legs, but not anymore. Still, the number of choices, from sushi, to tepanyaki, to roast beef, to crabs to dimsum is amazing! We celebrated my Mom's bday yesterday, and they gave us the room on the side. There were 25 of us, and food and service were just perfect.. The 1 star off is due to bathroom could be cleaner and the sink clogged up. Came here on Christmas day with my family. We arrived about 430pm, and the place was packed. We did come right on time where we did not jave to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. I can see the crowd of people behind us. Soon there were people out the door waiting to be seated. This place has a good variety of food. They had seafood including fried shrimp, peeled spicy shrimp, fried frog legs, stir fry, snails, crawfish, and crab legs to name a few. Additionally, they jave a variety of soups, pizza, spring rolls, fried rice, salmon, sesame balls, a Mongolian stir fry section, sushi section, dessert area, and a salad bar. Lots of good variety. My favorites included the crab legs dipped in warm butter, peeled spicy shrimp, and the garlic green beans. For dessert, the banana pudding is just delish! I wanted some ice cream, but unfortunately it was out of order. Though there was a good variety of food, and great flavors, the place lost 1 star for 2 reasons. Service was fair (but the place was pretty packed so somewhat understandable), and the restroom was horrible. I took my mom (who uses a wheelchair) into the large stall, and the trash can was overflowed with toilet paper that was stacked about 15 inches above the rim, and many more that fell to the floor. Some of the tissue on the floor clearly had some poop on it, making it smell in the bathroom. I think if they can keep up with the cleanliness of the restroom, this place would get a 5 star from me. read more
