I've been here once before, and yeah, I've always thought they're kinda overpriced. A savory kolache can run you about $3 to $5.50, including the breakfast ones. The sweet traditional ones are around $3 but pretty small. The vibe is pretty plain, but the customer service was great, which is why they get an extra star!

I have been here many times. This time was because a family member is coming into town and can use an easy breakfast on the go. I got a half dozen ranchers. They are mildly spicy abd delish. There was no wait. We were there on a weekday around noon. The vibe is casual and the place is always clean. They were still warm. I take a piece of wax paper and wrap it and freeze them. Try to put in the fridge the night before and microwave before eating. The perfect on the go breakfast. It is a hearty breakfast. I could probably have a half but its hard to not finish. Depending on time of day, parking can be snug but available. Of course I will return!

Finally had kolaches, and they did not disappoint! I tried the potato egg and cheese one and it was absolutely delicious. Soft doughy ball stuffed with a variety of different flavors and options. I had a cinnamon roll which I shared with my husband, we both thought it was delicious. I also had a cheesecake flavored latte, they offer milk alternatives like oat and almond milk, I opted for oat milk, and my latte was surprisingly good. Not super sweet which I liked. Customer service was great. The cashier who took our order was super helpful and was patient with us as it was our first time here. Inside the place is small, there is a counter with stools along the windows and some seating outside as well. This is more of a grab and go place but we ate there and we had a great experience overall. We will be back here for sure to try more!

I've never had kolache factory until my company decided to cater them. Let me tell ya, they're so filling! Think of a Chinese bun but with thicker bun and a variety of options. I personally love the ranchero (ground ham, salsa, cheese and jalapeños). They're great in size, I can get filled with possibly 1 1/2. They're great on the go food as well!

Came into work thinking it was going to be a normal morning... and then Kolache Factory showed up. Game over. I've had my fair share of kolaches, but these hit different. The jalapeño popper and ranchero are my go-tos--perfectly soft, flavorful, and dangerously easy to keep eating. Like, "I'll just have one" quickly turns into "how many did I actually eat?" Low-key, it's probably for the best there isn't a location near my house, because this could very easily become a daily habit. Shoutout to my work bestie for fueling the obsession--I'm not mad about it.

Went here on a Sunday to grab a quick pick-up breakfast. We ordered online, and were able to pick up in about 15 minutes. I've never had anything like these before they are little (slightly sweet) buns filled with different breakfast sandwich fillings (e.g., sausage egg and bacon, chorizo, etc). My favorite was the chorizo!! We had to get lots so we could taste test them all. Only thing I would want is maybe a side sauce to dip in! Few tables inside, I think this place is more meant for pick up and take home

Kolache factory is great. So happy there is one outside of Texas! Store is small and clean. There was a bit of a line when we got there at 8:30AM but the line moved quick. Lots of different selections. We ordered the Texas hot link, sausage and gravy, and the soon to be discontinued special country breakfast. Everything was so tasty and bready. Definitely will return. Prices reasonable.

Bacon egg and cheese. Could use more cheese.

I had lived in Texas for about a year but never got around to having a kolache so I was excited to see there was a Kolache Factory here. I picked up the Potato egg and cheese; bacon egg and cheese; and the pecan smoked sausage. My favourite would have to be the pecan smoked sausage which had a pleasant savory smoky flavor. The other breakfast ones were a bit bland. However the bread was fresh and soft. I would return to try the croissants.

If you have not tried Kolache's, they are a must try. I would describe them as a ball of delight. My favorite are the more savory ones, but I know they also have sweet, pastry like flavors. The employees are always quick and helpful. My favorite flavor is the chorizo and egg, the potato, egg and cheese and the pizza one. However, they will all surprise you. There are a few high seat chairs inside if you want to have a quick bite. And there are two small tables on the outside too. The parking spaces get really busy but I always find parking in the shoping center.

My workplace provided the egg kolaches for brunch once and they were so good that I decided to stop by again today to try another flavor. I got the chicken enchilada kolache and the caramel macchiato. They heat up your kolache upon request and the outside was so soft and pillowy while the inside bursted with flavor. Will definitely come back to try other flavors!

Kolaches are a Czech pastry that has found its' way to OC. I heard there's more of these in Texas, which is where my boyfriend first discovered them. He was intrigued to see a Kolaches Factory in OC when he was visiting me. Since they are compact and convenient, they make a really good snack for the road. We decided to get some for our roadtrip to Santa Barbara. My boyfriend only asked for a few but I got a little carried away ordering. We got the following and I'll put notes next to the ones I tried. Flavor of the Month - San Antonio ($4.90) - Has eggs, potato, chorizo, and some other things. A lot of flavors. Ham & Cheese ($3.35) - We shared half half and the inside bits of ham were chopped up. Interesting. BBQ Beef ($3.95) - We shared this one and both not impressed. Really dry bbq. Sausage Cheese & Jalapeno ($3.75) 2 Bacon Egg & Cheese ($4.90/each) - One of my favorites, simple breakfast bite. Chorizo ($4.90) Sausage & Cheese ($3.75 value, complimentary with yelp check in) Cream Cheese ($2.45) - Reminds me of a danish but way more bready. Croissant Texas Apple ($6.95) - WARNING sweet AND SAVORY. This weird croissant has an apple pie filling meats BACON AND CHEDDAR. I couldn't bare a second bite. Blehhhhhh. They labelled the boxes in a mirrored point of way which is really counter intuitive. In general I feel like the kolaches had a bready exterior, very soft. I prefer the savory breakfast application. I would consider coming back in the future if I need food on the go, but I don't think I would crave it.

Since it was our anniversary, they added a cute "Happy Anniversary" sign to the cake at no extra charge. When we picked it up, they even reminded us to head straight home because the summer heat could affect the cake. The banana matcha was good too, although it could've used a little more banana foam this time. The lines can get pretty long, so I was glad it wasn't too busy today. My favorites are the fish sandwich pastry and the jalapeño cheddar pastry. This time I also tried the salt and cookie butter croissant, the s'mores Danish, the Nutella banana Danish, and the turkey and cheese croissant. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. I'm not sure if it's housemade here, but if you've ever been to Japan, it tastes exactly like the ones you buy from the konbini! I remember I would buy one almost every day of my trip, so I've grown cravings for it that Hamadaya satisfies in OC. The bavarian chocolate cream is a fun decadent pastry if you're into chocolate- comes with so many chocolate chips. The cheese bread is also a go-to for me if I'm in a savory mood- it's exactly what it sounds like, cheese and bread but who doesn't love those two things? Egg katsu sandwich is good if you're looking for something more substantial. The strawberry shortcake I've tried here was also good, but I did pick it up near their closing so it felt a little dried out. Definitely would recommend coming here earlier in the day for fresher and better selection of pastries!

It's empty and easy to pickup pastries for breakfast. Kids love the hotdog pastries and the fruit tarts. Service is always great! Easy parking before everything else opens.

This is the place to go if you want cream puffs in OC! I've been going here since I was a child,…read moreand truly, I've never had a better cream puff than from here. Anyone I've offered a Manmi cream puff to agrees with me. Cream puffs are 75 cents each. They're big and are generously filled with a custard cream. The pastry bit itself is fluffy and not too dense, unlike other puffs I've had. It's not too sweet, and if I don't watch myself, I'd easily eat a shameful amount of them in a single sitting. I usually pay in cash, but you can pay with card (except American Express) if you're okay with a small processing fee. There isn't much seating in the bakery, but there are a couple of chairs and tables to the left. From my experience, people usually just come and go. Service is standard and relatively friendly. 100/10 would recommend.

They sell by 75 cents each which is good. Parking a little tight but if you go on weekday it's not too bad. The lady who greeted me wasn't too friendly she literally started me down and looked like she just wanted to rush me out. Also guys they take cash only but if card use they charge $1 fee. So she took my order and went next door to charge my card but I didn't know next door was a coffee place guess they link together. Funny thing was she didn't smile and the man who came after me she greeted him with a smile because they are of the same ethnicity. Language wasn't an issue here but to stare at customer like that I'm not coming back there ever again. Even though the cream puffs were so good very soft and not too sweet. I always go by first experience and impression. I will be looking forward other bakery's in Garden Grove.
