I can't believe I've never reviewed this place! It is one of our top go-to pizza joints. We've been ordering from here for several years now. It HITS every time we get it: The cheese they use is perfection. The cheesy garlic bread is yummy too. The antipasto salad is also good. Oh and the wings as well! It has been a while since I've confirmed this deal so double check but they have a lunch special M-F until 3pm that is a small pizza & salad for just $11. Check it out!

After considering a few higher end pizza places, I went with LW Pizza for small LW combo to go. It was exactly what I was looking for - a relatively thin crust traditional pizza. I ordered the pizza in the store and it was ready in about 10 minutes. The crust was a bit crunchy and toppings all tasted fresh.

Dined in on 02/21/25 I don't know how many times I can review one establishment but I will keep doing so for LW pizza! I ordered a calzone for the first time ever. Ordered pepperoni and Italian sausage. There are two sizes to choose from; small which is 10" and medium which is 12". It came in a pizza box with a side of marinara sauce. Not surprising, it was delicious. The dough was baked perfectly and the temperature of the food was perfect. Hot but not too hot that I couldn't immediately enjoy my pie. Their marinara sauce. I don't know what to say about it. It's just too good. I honestly don't know if they make their own or not but whatever the case may be, I need them to sell jars of it. Like, immediately. LW, you did it again. Please don't get tired of seeing me. lol

    As of 7/15/25: Latest lunch special price of $9 ($10 w/tax) from 11am-3pm @ojbaylen

This is a great spot for lunch! For $9 ($10 w/tax) you get a sub sandwich (I believe you can choose from 4 kinds) and choice of salad or a drink. I ordered the Italian sub and chose the salad. So worth it! I live less than 10 minutes away so next time I'll call my order in so it's ready for pick-up!

This was just another pizza spot to try since moving to Long Beach. Theyre not that far from us, but on this particular try, we chose to have it delivered. I went through the SLICE app and got a deal on a two topping pizza. We got pepperoni and mushroom XL which was thin crust and perfect crunch at the end. I decided to try their BBQ wings and they were a bit small for my taste but they were good. The cheese bread was good and we scored by having pizza sauce in stock at our place. This spot is a perfect edition to our lineup of pizza joints to choose from.

Yum yum ! LW pizza is a bit out my way but whenever I'm craving a pepperoni pizza I come here ! This is one of the only locations in Long Beach that carries BEEF pepperoni ! The pizza is always super fresh & crisp when I get there ! The ladies in here are always super nice & always hook me up ! This pizza spot is located in a very small plaza along side businesses like ups & a donut shop , in the same plaza there's a bar & it can get pretty packed but I always find parking ! A must to check out for pizza lovers !

We had a great time to find some new hand care products @Lather and went to discover an authentic italian restaurant which lots of Yelpers mentioned. My wife said, we have to order at the front, then they bring the foods to the table but the owner took our orders, and brought the foods so fast just like other Italian restaurant. We love meat lasagna, pasta w bolonese sauce, and some flat breads like appetizer pizza. We ordered 3, lasagna, tagliatelle bolonese, flat bread sandwich called Cassone w sausage, bell pepper, onions. I had some italian red wine per glass ($14). First, I loved so much my lasagna and kept eating until finish my entire portion. I give 10 stars. My wife's pasta, she said pasta is too thick, might be on purpose? She likes soft, thin texture handmade tagliatelle. For the first time, we ordered flat bread sandwich. The sandwich flavor was good, but not the dough for flat bread. Well, we tried here for the 1st time after shopping. Today was almost 81 this afternoon. Hot and humid.....unluckily AC was broken so he opened the entrance door. One big fly bothered a lot annoying us eating the foods. And so hot inside restaurant. Overall, I liked my lasagna a lot, not really tagliatelle bolonese, nor the flat bread sandwich. If AC was working during lunch time. We felt much comfortable to enjoy our foods. One thing, I loved the red wine but the portion was not enough for $14. Even my wife said, not much for this price. I got 2 glasses of italian red wine, not enough. The view was great ocean side from the patio. This is a strong point eating here for the view. My wife saw the live pasta cooking show, a chef made the pasta, stretching the pasta dough in the kitchen....great show! Fun! Hopefully AC runs well especially hot summer season, the portions of pastas and wines might be more generous for the future.

Italian Food? Me?! Say It Ain't So…read more.. First things first... THE MAP IS LYING. If your GPS takes you somewhere that looks completely wrong, map to Lazy Dog Café instead--the restaurant is on the left-hand side. You're welcome! Parking on a Saturday around 10 AM is HORRENDOUS, so be prepared to park a little farther away and get your cardio in. Nothing wrong with earning those brunch calories! Now let's talk about the vibe because WOW. I'm not usually a huge Italian food girl because I find it a little too carby, but the interior and exterior here are STUNNING. Modern, chic, and honestly the exact indoor/outdoor, open-bar vibe I'd want in my own home. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and we chose to sit outside for our girlfriend's birthday. Jumpstart -- $7.50 | 7.8/10 Coffee mixed with chocolate, and it was definitely chocolate-forward with a nice espresso kick. I only had a sip, but it was tasty! Mango Chamoy -- $15 | 6/10 Unfortunately, not my favorite. I wanted more mango liqueur flavor, and the homemade chili-salt rim was different from what I'm used to. I personally prefer Tajín, but maybe you'll love their version! Truffle Garlic Bread -- $18.50 | 8/10 Okayyyy, I see why everyone orders this! I'm a TRUFFLE GIRLY, and this definitely delivered. They went a little heavy on the butter, but the truffle and cheese topping was delish . I can absolutely see why this is a bestseller. Must try! Seasonal Burrata -- $18.50 | 7/10 Heirloom tomatoes, burrata, and bread underneath. The burrata was nice, but the bread became pretty soggy from the tomato juices. I've definitely had better, but still worth trying. Seasonal Salad + Heirloom Beets -- $21 | 8.75/10 I'm not normally a beet girl, but these were surprisingly sweet and delicious! Mixed with corn, asparagus, peas, romaine, and green goddess dressing--WOW. The dressing was fantastic . My only complaint was that some of the asparagus and peas were pretty fibrous, but overall, a winner! Trottole Chicken Pesto Pasta -- $26.50 No rating--I didn't get to try it! The birthday girl ordered it, but I guess I'll have to come back and investigate myself. Hot Honey Pizza -- $25 No rating--also didn't get a bite! But it looked delicious and is definitely on my next-time list. Roasted Salmon -- $29 | 8.8/10 THIS was my dish! Perfectly grilled/crusted salmon over basil pesto pasta with broccolini--my absolute favorite vegetable! The salmon was beautifully cooked, the crust had a great texture, and the pesto pasta was DIVINE. We had already demolished the appetizers, so I couldn't eat as much as I wanted, but I would absolutely order this again. Hazelnut Torta -- $13.50 | 8/10 Our wonderful server Cassandra surprised the birthday girl with this dessert on the house! I'm not sure what that crunchy layer was, but whatever it was... KEEP IT! Such a delicious texture and a sweet way to end the meal. SERVICE Cassandra was wonderful! She checked on us often, was super patient, and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for taking such good care of us and making the birthday girl feel special! OVERALL: 4.5/5 The bill came out to around $220, so definitely not the cheapest spot, but you're paying for the food, service, and GORGEOUS atmosphere. Honestly, this place opened my palate to Italian food a little more. I went in thinking, "Too carby for me," and left thinking, "Okayyy... maybe I need to explore Italian food!" If you're around Cerritos Mall, definitely give this place a try--especially for a birthday, girls' brunch, date night, or just because you want to eat somewhere pretty. Beautiful space Friendly service Truffle garlic bread Pesto pasta Birthday dessert New appreciation for Italian food Definitely coming back to try what I missed! Happy Eats & Happy Brunch!

My wife saw a FB posting of Deli News Pizza, advertising their $4.99 small pizza special (last…read moreTuesday of every month). Well...the next day was the last Tuesday of August, so we made plans to bring her mom for an informal dinner the next day, knowing that they supported dine-in. It was great. Deli News Pizza is located in the Los Altos Shopping Center (Trader Joe's and Five Below being two businesses that we frequent), so there was available parking in the large surface lot (so I was reminded that cars tend to drive a little too fast with so many pedestrians around). We intentionally came early (around 4 pm), since I had seen a picture for a $10 small pizza with unlimited topping special. Wasn't sure if that was still available (since I couldn't find a board advertising it), but the nice young man behind the counter, confirmed that it was, before 5pm. This is what I call the standard Domino's pizza style (puffy, thick around the edges - style), and tastes better when cooked a bit longer (which Dominos and Little Caesars never seems to do right). Well, they did it right here. We got the $5 pepperoni small 12", and also ordered the small 12" (got pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, tomato, pineapple), both of it asked for well done. Also got potato wedges ($4.99). The pepperoni came out first, and was OK...with not the greatest amount of cheese, but had been cooked crisp so really liked the crust and the crisped pepperoni. The combo came out later, and probably could have been cooked longer (the cheese wasn't browned much because of all the toppers)...but they didn't skimp on the toppings. I really liked how the green peppers and white onion were sliced really thin. The pineapple and mushrooms were canned (I think). I really liked the potato wedges...this was one time when the food actually looked better in person than on the on-line menu. They don't have a deep fryer, so these were baked and had been done long enough to get them really crispy on the outside. Super glad they took the time to do that. The three of us ended up eating half of each pizza and most of the wedges so probably could have fed another 2 - 3 people. We took the remainder home, and will freeze the pizzas for another day. Crazy good value for a under $30 meal. All the young folks working at Deli, were extremely nice, and made it just a very pleasant dining experience. They deliver the food to you, use reusable plates and there is no place to self-bus, so the tip line when paying by credit card was appropriate. Drinks are given behind the counter from a soda fountain, and they had no issues giving the two of us water (Mom got a small Coke for $1.99). They have bottles and cans of soda as well, along with draft beer. Yup...came at the right time for great value pizza. But it tasted pretty good too, and the service was top rate. Definitely great value, and a place to go out of the way for, when in the mood for cheap but tasty pizza, especially if the last Tuesday of the month.

Came here on a Tuesday around 7:30am. Plenty of seat. Friendly and quick service…read more Ordered a small pepperoni pizza. It was good and crust no too thin. All in all good to try pizza spot.

The line was long, but it moved efficiently to the cashier, and like always, the food was great. The only issue I had was the group of ladies arguing with the supervisor about their seating arrangement. From what I witnessed, the manager remained calm, respectful, and professional toward the group. So I'm not sure why they decided to grace the outdoor seating area with an encore performance of "What I would have done if I were the manager" for the next 20 minutes. I understand that the table felt wronged, and everyone has the right to voice their concerns. But at some point, the nonstop complaining only disrupted the experience of the other customers trying to enjoy their Saturday brunch. As for us, we had another great experience. Great food, great atmosphere, and a professional staff. We'll definitely be back.

It was my first time coming to Zuzu's Petals and I definitely have a lot of thoughts!…read more First, the ambiance and aesthetics are very cute. Everything feels clean, classy and thoughtfully put together. When you first arrive, seeing the line out the door can be a little intimidating. Usually at places like this, I feel like I have to fight for my life to find a table, but thankfully that wasn't the case here. The staff was very kind and asks how many are in your party and helps you get a table, which made everything much less stressful. They also give you menus while you wait so you can decide what you want ahead of time. We arrived at 10:30am and our wait was about 30 minutes so by the time we were able to order at 11am, the lunch menu was also available. I ordered the tater tots, Cinnagave Shaken Espresso, Dutch Baby Pancake and country sourdough toast with jam. With tax and tip, my total came out to around $40. It's definitely pricier than what I normally pay for breakfast. Most entrées range from $17-$34 and coffees are around $5-$10, so you can easily spend $30+ for one person. In these hard times, that's not exactly ideal for me. I also wanted to try a pastry to get the full experience, but when I found out the small blackberry danish was $7, I decided to pass. I just couldn't justify getting that close to $50 for breakfast for one person. Now for the food! The country sourdough toast with jam was actually my favorite item. The homemade sourdough was incredible and honestly deserves its roses. It sounds like such a simple thing, but it was so well done and easily the standout for me. Visually, the Dutch Baby Pancake was beautiful and definitely impressive when it came out. I've always wanted to try one, so I was excited! I will say, I've read everywhere that Dutch babies are supposed to have more of a custardy center and even the photos I've seen look that way. Mine didn't really have that texture at all and tasted more like a crepe. Maybe it was a little overcooked? It wasn't bad, just not quite what I expected. Still delicious! Unfortunately, the tater tots were the biggest disappointment. They weren't crispy, didn't taste seasoned and sort of fell apart until they became one big potato mess. My cousins and I ended up not finishing them. One of my cousins ordered the summer peach and corn salad, which she liked! Just a heads-up that it's only available after 11 a.m. My other cousin got the skillet, she mentioned feeling a little disappointed since it tasted a little dry and didn't finish her plate. However they both ordered the Curious George drink and LOVED it! The Cinnagave Shaken Espresso was also fantastic. Coffee is definitely something they do very well here and I can see myself getting again. Overall, the aesthetics are adorable and I could see this being a great date spot. The coffee was fantastic, the sourdough was amazing, but the rest of the food was just okay for us. That was a little disappointing because everything sounds SO good on paper. Maybe we just caught them on an off day. The prices are probably the biggest thing holding me back from coming back regularly. Spending $30-$40+ per person for breakfast isn't really in my budget right now, but if this is within your price range, you may have a completely different experience. When I review a place, I try to take the overall experience, personal taste and effort into account. For now, I'm leaving Zuzu's Petals at 4 stars because the effort is definitely there, and what isn't my cup of tea may be someone else's liquid gold. I'd still give them another chance in the future... after I get paid!
