Unfortunately my family had a very bad experience here. My parents were visiting from out of town. My mom choose this place. The menu looked great and we were all looking forward to eating here. We waited over an hour to get our food. Once it came out it was all wrong. We got two Maple st burgers and two steak blue salads. Both burgers were under cooked. Steak was over cooked and tough. Went for lunch with friends. Got the half BLAT and side salad. Very good! Cute place. Excited to go back for dinner and try one of their drinks. Update: Went back another day for dinner. Tempted to gate keep so I won't have to fight for reservations in the future, but it was too good not to share! I got a lemon drop, shareable pretzel, and Mama's tacos-- one potato and one beef. My husband got a Mexican squirt, and the schnitzel Cesar salad. We shared a butter toffee cake for dessert. Everything was amazing. But especially the potato taco and the cake. We went to Maple St on a whim last Saturday night. The place was packed, though we got seated at the bar. We had so much fun watching the busy bartenders. This place is divine!!!! It was recommended to me by 2 different people in one week so I had to go! We got the chia seed pudding ,buttermilk waffle and the grilled chicken with chimichurri sauce. I'd say this place is the best restaurant in Livermore, the food was amazing! You can tell they use fresh ingredients and good quality beef. Our waiter Antonio was super sweet and helpful choosing the popular dishes to try. The potato tacos and pretzel was so delicious! The burger was very juicy and full of flavors. This is a fun place that is very dog-friendly. They offered not only water for our 2 dogs, but also treats! They had a lot of great sides on the menu. I ordered Mac N Cheese, Caesar salad, & sweet potato tater tots, and all three were very good; I would have liked more of the Mac N Cheese, but it was only a side portion. My Diet Coke came in a cute, glass container, but it was only 6 oz! I have never been given so little soda before at a restaurant; I need a minimum of twice that much! My daughter & husband got Hibiscus lemonades, which they enjoyed, so I ended up ordering a watermelon lemonade, and it was good. My husband enjoyed his oblong hamburger and I can attest that the regular fries are very good as well. My daughter got the Schnitzel sandwich with curly fries and liked her food. We came here for dinner and the food menu was pretty limited, about six food items total to choose from. Larger drinks menu. My boyfriend said this seemed like more of a drinks place rather than food place. The food was not bad, the wrap was my favorite and delicious, pretty fresh and the chicken was super tender. The hamburger was my least favorite, it barely had any toppings and tasted like burger meat with my choice of cheese in between two loafs of French bread. Service was friendly. Would love to see this place have more food options, like wings or something. There's also some games you can play indoors that they have on tables, like chess or snakes and ladders which is a fun idea. Decor and ambience is very cute. Too hot these days to enjoy the out door area but I can see this place being a cute spot to chill and hang out on a weekend night for drinks. Everything went so smoothly ...beginning with the owner's guidance and expertise as a chef, to the amazing service from the scheduling, menu planning, timely communication, and then punctuated by the phenomenal staff who hosted our party of 33. The outdoor patio was beautifully decorated, amply toasty with their 4 powerful heaters and the food menu and specialty cocktails exceeded our expectations. Replacing the cozy Bar Quiote, this place transformed into a chic bar with cute lavender lighting created by the blue lights complimented by the yellow-orange string lights. While they are going through their soft opening, they were able to retain the staff and bar setup. Maple St. is also working on a brunch experience, which is super exciting. Especially with their new patio setup. Hopefully it will be a good menu! Bar food options - no longer hot dogs. They have Mac n cheese BLT, and a few other items maybe worth checking out. Since they are so new, we haven't had a chance to eat here. Five stars for the friendly staff, ambiance and drinks. Feel free to order off of their regular drinks menu! They make a great sazerac! This is an new spot that I just started to frequent. Very nice people. Cool atmosphere and bar. Outdoor seating and good food. I have tried a few of their dishes. My favorite, so far, is the Maple St. Burger with blue cheese crumbles. Amazing, even my son liked it, who is picky and does not care for blue cheese in general. Second would be the clam chowder bread bowl, followed by the grilled cheese with tomato bisque. read more

The food is average tasting. Nice service with attentive wait staff. I had a chicken wrap which was average tasting and shared some fries with furikake (dried seaweed spice) and other spices on them and they were fine. I like the fact that they were slender in size and not a thick cut. My friend had the 3 crispy tacos and she said they were good. You can share plates of food or order single dishes. How did we not know about this place until just now? Thank you Yelp for pointing it out when we were looking for a new place - this will be a go-to for us for awhile. Great cocktails, decent selection of beers, and a very interesting menu. I had the burger since it was my first time, and it's a good way to gauge a restaurant - it was delicious. Came on a fresh roll, and the meat was super tasty. My wife had the Gambas Al Ajillo (seasoned prawns) and it was outstanding as well. The outdoor area was very comfortable to eat in - they have heaters, and I assume they'll keep it open all winter, because there's not alot of room inside. Next time maybe I'll come hang out at the bar, and I'm looking to try that Schnitz next time. Or maybe Mama's crispy tacos? It all looked so good - we'll be regulars. read more
