Ray is a monster!!! And that's meant in the best way possible!! All I can say is if your looking for an amazing place to take your car in this area it should be here. Our family moved here a few months ago and we used a different place for service. They sucked compared to Ray and all the mechanics here. Just came in to have tires put on Ray quoted me 3 weeks ago on. I let Ray know 2 days ago we'd be here, the time I needed for and where I needed to be later in the afternoon. I'm now sittin in the waiting area after 40 mins and Ray walks in with dirty hands saying - Your tires are on, I helped the mechanics and put em on- their doing the alignment now. What front office guy quotes you checks you in and puts your tires on all in the name of customer service- Ray does that's who!! Call Ray and Midas for all your family cars needs!!! This is my first time at this Midas but I've been to others that have had excellent service. I'm happy to say this one is no different, but it's much closer to home! I came in for an oil change and a check up on the car since I'll be going on a road trip. The technician was awesome! He was very approachable, he explained everything, and he brought in my filters to show me that they needed changing (he said people always worry they're being cheated). He walked me through everything they were doing and made sure I got the best deal on the parts he ordered. I got a full synthetic oil change for $55 based on a deal they have going! And they rotated my tires. I can't say enough how great the service was. In terms of COVID, there's not really social distancing encouraged, but masks are required and there's hand sanitizer available. Staff wears masks as well. I went here not long ago to get an alignment, get a new battery, install certain things on my car. Ray, Ramiro and Jose were really professional. They were honest with the diagnostics, prices, and the time it will take to get it done. They were very also friendly. When I came in into the store I was actually very nervous and hesitant, just because as a woman sometimes it's a little hard to go into a shop. But honestly, I am so glad I did. Dont waste your time! Went in for tires at 10:30am on a Monday. The guy at the counter said if the tires are ordered by 11am, they would be able to put them on for us by 3pm or 4pm. Perfect! So we decided to go ahead and hang out in the area (mind you it's 100°F outside) and wait for them to call us. We decided to drive back to their shop at 4pm because they HAVE TO have the tires there by now. So we got there only to find out that the tires would not be arriving afterall. They may arrive tomorrow at 10am. No apologies, no offer to discount services for the inconvenience. WHAT A JOKE!!! Took my car in to get an oil change last week. My car has less that 52k miles and it's now leaking oil. I'm hoping the tech left something loose and it's nothing major. I'll be taking the car back in tomorrow. Update- went back in the following morning and the gentleman behind the counter quickly took my car in to get looked out. Ended up needing a new gasket. The mechanic replaced the gasket and topped off the oil. I haven't noticed a leak since. Was it a hassle, yes. But I was pleased with the staffs quick action to resolve the problem. read more

Knowing our 2012 Chevy equinox needed a water pump I spent a couple days calling around for quotes. I was getting prices from $800-$1200 for replacement. Midas beat all quotes. We took the car down spoke with Troy and Vincent about repairing our car. After a diagnostic test we found that we had leaks from both the radiator as well as the water pump. They asked me to come down to see for myself. Even with them replacing the water pump and radiator the price still beat all other shops in the area. One of the best experiences I have had at a Midas. I was advised by my dealership that my car needed an alignment and that it needed a cabin air filter replaced. I passed at my dealership as the numbers didn't make sense for me. I drove down the street and saw the Midas was open and pulled in. They put the truck up and advised me that I did not need an alignment and didn't charge me for the service as my truck is a 2021 Silverado but the dealer was just wanting to up-sale some services. Then they wonder why people don't trust dealership mechanics. This spot is truly honest and reliable all around. Ray was awesome he let us know they don't accept those type of deals.. he knew we drove a bit of a distance just to come to their location so he hooked us up with a good deal anyway.. && on top of that he charged my phone for me.. lol.. he was very friendly and had a great vibe.. they had coffee and water to offer their customers!! My fleet truck needed muffler work. The. Fleet Company told me they would have to fix it the next morning and to drop the off the truck. I stopped by at 4:30pm and they were busy. Troy the manager took my truck put it on the rack and said we can fix it tonight. They close at 6:00pm and Ramiro stayed until 7:00pm and finished the job. Amazing job well done. Where is James??? As has been my previous experience with this Midas location, I was very happy with my most recent visits. My tires were having problems and were still under warranty. Everything was taken care of quickly. During my most recent visit, in addition to James, there were some people I didn't recognize that seemed to be affiliated with either Midas or the location. I wasn't sure what they were doing. Over the next few days, I noticed the changeable sign said "Open during renovation" and the Midas signage had been removed. Now it has been changed to say it is closed during renovation but will be back soon. I JUST NOW got my Midas reminder postcard in the mail for one of my vehicles. It still lists this location and phone number. However, this location has been removed from Midas' website and the phone number (which is on the postcard I just got) has been disconnected. It seems obvious to me now that if this location returns to operation, it will not be a Midas. Will James still be there? What about the rest of the staff? I've been taking my vehicles there for many years. Is Midas retaining all my information and warranties? Will whatever opens there honor my warranties and have my information? Will James be working somewhere else? My high rating is for how things WERE. It will change if I'm not happy with what ends up happening. I went in for an oil change that I scheduled a day before. Waited an hour and when they were done and I got home, almost all the full synthetic oil leaked out for this 2011 toyota camry hybrid. I called them and they asked me to bring it in. They informed me there was an issue with the drain plug. Obviously it wasn't tightened enough. Came for an oil change & my car hasn't been the same ever since. They changed filters & didn't even put the suspension for my glove box back on so now it just slams when it opens. I usually do not go to a Midas for any of my cars needs. I did decide to visit this Midas as I needed a oil change quick. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Ray. Ray is now the manager over this location from my understanding. He is knowledgeable; friendly; and honest. Ray had definitely been a breath of fresh air for the Midas company. I went from by passing Midas locations to getting my oil changed and tires services as well by Ray. When I find a shop that works, I will be consistent. It was hard finding somewhere to go in Anaheim, but thanks to Ray I can now have a local area to go to for my car needs. Thank you Ray for turning this place around. I had never been to this location but I brought my car in for a brake job because they were squeaking and in the eight years I had the car I have not done anything to the brakes. Erick the Man In charge checked out my car and then told me that I didn't need a brake job! Then he showed me my car breaks exactly what was going on. I couldn't believe it I was absolutely floored by his honesty and transparency. They did an adjustment and the squeaking is gone. Came here to get a simple oil change and after two hours they said they didnt have the pan that needed to be replaced and I could either leave it overnight or take it elsewhere. My usual mechanic then noted it would take him less than an hour. So I opted to leave with my car. Upon trying to leave my car the key wouldnt turn in the ignition. 2+ hours later of trying both the regular and spare keys and they come to the conclusion i need a new ignition cylinder. Now a routine service stop has wasted my entire day and I will now be missing at least one work shift until this gets resolved. The workers there are very professional and I appreciate their help, but they also dont want to accept responsibility for messing up my ignition. I refuse to pay for something that was working perfectly when I left it in their care. Finally Left with my car after waiting 5 hours with them trying to stick me with a $500 to $600 bill for the Ignition they broke. Do not support this business Edit: Just noticed they left my car idled so long because they were afraid they would not be able to get the Ignition turned back on that they went through 3/4 of a tank of gas read more

I went to this Midas 8/13 to get my AC fixed and they brushed me off by saying it didn't need a recharge and nothing was wrong with it when it clearly wasn't working at all for me on demand and would only turn on when it wanted to. I explained that to them, the guy in the office also informed me I had a nail in my front passenger tire that could cause a blow out and I could end up in an accident if that happened and told me they couldn't patch it or remove it since that would pop the tire because it was at an angle so I said I'd like to buy a new tire and he told me I didn't need to purchase a new tire because mine was still like new and to just keep an eye on the air pressure after he just informed me it was danger to drive with. I was sent home like that thinking I had been helped and my AC was fixed but it wasn't fixed. That day I paid $92, not bad right? Well, I ended up going back for the same issue to be fixed with my ac because it didn't work still after they "fixed it" 9/07 and this visit was worse than the first one. The mechanic tried telling me I was "Good to go" after I just go there he remembered me from the first time I went and he told me my ac is fine but I kept telling them it doesn't work still, I sat in a chair 6 months pregnant at the Midas shop sweaty during a heat wave for 5 and a half long hours waiting for my car to be fixed and I got charged a whopping $362 and my AC STILL doesn't work!!! Horrible service I dont recommend anyone come here. Please save your hard earned money and spend it on an auto shop that will actually fix your car issues for the price you pay. There were other customers besides me there that were upset as well it wasn't just me. One other customer was upset because he had been there 3 hours waiting for them to change his brake pads. I feel like it is hard to find a place that won't upcharge you on things you don't really need or lie to you to get you to spend more money on your car. Ray tells me exactly what I need and if I could potentially wait on the service he is recommending. Definitely trust the staff here. One staff member was even nice enough to recommend a windshield replacement guy when I had a cracked windshield!
