To have never tried a bloomin onion ever? That's just insane. After seeing a commercial, both my wife and I realized we had never ever been to an Outback Steakhouse in our lives. So we looked up the nearest location set a dinner date. Let the review begin. We entered the doors and were greeted and told our party of 4 could expect a 15 to 20 minute wait. We were sat within 10 minutes and our waiter David was amazing. True definition of service with a smile. He was educated on the menu and made sure to keep us informed every step of the way regarding beverage arrival, anticipating of appetizers and checked in adequately during the main course. What we order? Bone in Rib Eye 16oz 3/5 Queensland Chicken and Shrimp Pasta 4/5 The Outback Burger 3/5 Steakhouse Mac 4/5 Bloomin Onion 5/5 Overall, I wasn't very happy with my steak. But maybe my bar is set high. Considering it's a commercial franchise, it's not fair to put it against a Roy's or Capital Grill but those being my base for commercial steakhouse, Outback unfortunately didn't meet me expectation with the Rib Eye. The pasta was good. Burger though was not so good. Aside of the overkill on the mustard, the taste of the patty itself seemed bland and didn't give me a taste of a fresh patty nor was the bun. I'd presume if the burger carries the name of the establishment, more effort should be put towards it being a winner. The sides though were very tasty, and made a great impression. I'd go back for sure next time I'm craving some bloomin onion, and I'd be open to trying other items on the menu. Given the service, I'd be happy to give it another shot. Extra effort for the win: When we let David know that the mustard was excessive on our son's burger, he made sure to make things right, informing management. The bill was adjusted without a problem. Outback Steakhouse is a chain with hundreds of locations. We had never been to this one, but it was so good we went for lunch and dinner on the same day. What really stands out about this Outback is the service. We had the same server twice and she was just great. We ordered several things and a few sides and it was all served hot and in a timely manner. She checked on us several times and made sure she listened when my Special Needs, speech impaired, grandchild spoke. Some don't bother and just look to me, but she took the time to listen so she could understand what he wanted. He adored her. The place was super clean, including the bathrooms and there was a nice wee smell of steak in the air. There is a lot to have there, not just steak. We had a pasta dish with wonderful white meat, boneless, skinless, chicken, and grilled shrimp. We also ordered mac and cheese, potato soup, and the best mashed potatoes with bacon, chives and all manner of good stuff. We loves it all and will go out of our way to visit this Outback. Parking is free and easy. It is located near a bunch or other restaurants and Knott's Berry Farm. Have the best time. read more

I ordered the sirloin steak with baked potato and salad. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium well and it was medium rare ,the baked potato was undercooked, the salad needed more dressing and I had to wait almost 10 minutes before I could find the server. I had to ask for drink refills also. The people in front of me had some issues with the server as well. The gentleman ordered a special with steak and chicken and when she brought the food, the chicken was missing! The server said she misunderstood. I don't know if the server was new, but if she is, she definitely needs to be watched or have somebody do some training with her. I think she said her name was Allie or Alex I'm not sure. Had such a great time! Our server Jonathan made sure our meal was tiptop from the temp of the steak to the refills! He was very attentive. Everyone there was super welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well organized and music was not too loud or to quiet so it helped enjoy it while still having conversation. Date of visit 12/12/25 My friends and I went here because we wanted a nice meal. We have been to Outback on several occasions but never have we visited this location. Upon arrival we were told that it would be a 15-20 minute wait for a table of three. We patiently waited for a booth. After about 30-35 minutes we questioned the wait time and instead of giving us a booth, they sat us in the bar area. We ordered apps and drinks, all of which came out perfectly fine and in a timely manner. When it came time to order our food, they took our order and we waited once again for over 30 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. When the food finally came out, you would expect it to be hot, right? NO, it was COLD! You can tell the food had just been sitting around and was not brought to us right away after it was prepared. All three of us sent back our food as we were not about to pay $100-$150 for cold food. We came here for a nice dining experience and got the exact opposite. The manager, Thomas, could only express that the "kitchen went down and thats why it took longer" whatever that means. There were people all around us getting their food and seeming happy about the quality, why were we the ones who suffered the "kitchen went down". At this point it was going on 10pm and we were all still very hungry. Not usually do we leave a restaurant still hungry. We ended up going to Panda express around the corner. Guess what?... the food at Panda was piping hot and fresher than the food we received at Outback. I will never return to this location ever again and I highly recommend that none of you reading this does as well. This location is poorly managed and should not be given the time of day. Oue service was subpar as our salads and soup came out with the dinner. It's a pity that servers these days pay little attention to details in anticipating needs. For instance, clearing the table of excess glasses and plates, refilling water without asking and bringing plates and utensils before bringing appetisers and deserts. We went on Mother's Day. I called ahead of time to check wait times. I was told 13-15 minutes which ended up turning into 30minute wait. I get it it's considered a holiday. However what happened next was totally a big fail on their part. . After 30 minutes we got seated. No one came for another 15 minutes and that's only after a server who walked by asked if we had been help. Finally host came who was Logan, he apologized then took our order for drinks. Offer an appetizer for waiting so long on the house ( nice gesture). After we ordered food it then took 3hrs before we were served. Just ridiculous the food was good but service terrible. We even spoke to the manager who said this was a normal wait for a holiday. Never again will I return to this location. Bad service and bad management. There's no excuse for this wait time. Consistently good food and excellent service at this Outback location! Tonight we had the pleasure of being served by Jonathan. Not only was he attentive to our table, but I listened to him serving others and he was so thoughtful and really went the extra mile to ensure everyone was taken care of. The gentleman behind me ordered a baked potato and sweet potatoes and Jonathan kindly suggested he order one different side. He ended up subbing in baked potato soup which made me laugh. He offered extra bread, water, napkins, and lemonade to go. So kind and thoughtful! We will definitely be requesting his section again. This was such a bad experience from start to finish. Wow. The short version? My wife and I got medium steak and both came out medium rare. My thin steak was too raw and came out pre-sliced on a salad and was CLEARLY medium rare. They took the steak back to cook it more, he asked me to fork it off the salad and put it on the small plate my soup came on because he forgot to get us little bread plates. I was a little horrified by this, but just agreed... then they brought it back and it was well done... oof. I was irritated but didn't want to send it back a third time so I grinned and bared it. I guess this is the long version! lol... then my wife cut into hers and it was rarer than we wanted, but she didn't send it back. We over heard the table behind us send his prime rib back as well for the wrong cook, it was a mess. Sadly, as my wife finished her steak she found a hair in the meal. SMH. She stopped eating after gagging a little. I asked to speak to a manager because this meal was going to hell in a hand basket all around. The manager apologized and then comped the meal and offered dessert which we got to go. We wanted to try their 3-course meal. We ordered 2 6oz steak courses, and the blooming onion. We basically got a small salad, an extremely burned blackened tiny piece of steak with a small baked potato and a piece of cheese cake for $22.95 rounded off to $23. I literally ate my piece of steak in 2 bites because I couldn't eat the burned part. What a rip-off. The blooming onion was super greasy and burned and yet there were uncooked flour in the center of the onion. I rarely leave reviews but I will never visit this restaurant again. The place was practically empty when we entered. Three tables occupied. We were told to wait 5 minutes. What? For what? Extremely slow service throughout. When I expressed disappointment, we were told it was because they were busy!! No discount or dessert offered as well for the poor service. It started 12/28/25 the wait was about 45 min and the once seated we had to wait probably another 45 min to get our food. That was not a big deal but just adds to the future frustration of the meal. Me and my buddy both ordered the ribeye mine medium rare his medium well. When we finally got our meal mine was medium and his was medium rare but I had already started to eat mine so we didn't switch steaks. Our waitress never really check on us, we had to flag another team member to help. It was busy and she was also tending the bar so she was wearing a couple of hats. Anyway 2 other servers and one may have been the manager also helping out (not sure) but he seemed more in charge. When my buddy showed his steak they agreed after he waited about 10 minutes to get some attention then another 10-15 min to solve the issue by cooking it more. Both servers asked separately if my strip steak was ok. I did notice that it was thicker than the norm but was fairly fatty so I assumed it was a ribeye. I said it should be a ribeye and the more senior of the servers stated oy yeah i see the extra fat its a ribeye. So, I doubt my order was correct with the type of steak and plus being overcooked. The service was atrocious and their solution was to offer a desert which we were both full and out total time there was nearing 2.5 hours. On top of it they gave a couple refill ice teas to go and they gave us flavored ice tea instead of just plain ice tea. The quality control seems to be severely lacking with pulling wrong orders or the cooks not cooking the order properly.
