My wife says the menu has new additions. I've been here twice in the last 20 days. Bread is consistently good. Salads are consistently fresh. Cheese fries were awesome. My wife loved here meal (some meal with sliced filet mignon - in spite of some unexpected fattiness). My filet was good also. This location's consistency was down a few years ago. We have eaten at this Steakhouse and always found the service and food to be excellent. We had a birthday party for my father at this Outback. He was a World War II veteran. We ate here for our date night last week.....and we won't be rushing back anytime soon. We ordered wings as an appetizer.....they just didn't have a good flavor, but that's subjective. What wasn't was the foccacia sandwich I'd ordered. It's like a French Dip, complete with Au Jus. Arby's does a MUCH better job! The picture looked great, and while I know pictures are never as they really appear, what did show up was a complete joke. I opened up a sandwich half and there lay a tiny ball of hard meat that didn't even cover half the sandwich! The waitress saw me and couldn't believe it either. She took the food back to the kitchen for them to put on more. Instead, the manager came out and said that they are only allowed to serve 5 ounce portion sizes for that meal and they have to split the meat lumps between the two halves. She gave me the meal for free. Outback....you'd think you could have freshly carved meat, right? No, these are meat shavings, frozen, that they drop into a fryer before tossing onto a piece of bread. It's been a long time since we've been to an Outback, and it's going to be a lot longer before we go back. My husband's baked potato arrived salted! Who salts a baked potato?!? You can always tell a cheap cook uses salt while a chef uses herbs and spices. Outback salted everything. The service was okay, a bit slow, but not horrendous for a Friday evening. First visit was great. Second visit they had to come back to tell us they ran out if lobster and wanted to substitute for a few shrimp. Third visit was Horrible. Food came out 45 minutes after we ordered and it was cold. Medium steak was RAW. Lobster came out 10 minutes after the steak came out (55 minutes). Walked in and the first thing I noticed was this funky odor. Not sure what it was but that was enough for me not to come back. Maybe 6 people in the place when we got there. Placed our order. The waitress then brought my wife's salad to the table behind us. Mind you we ordered a cheeseburger and I ordered the chicken sandwich not time consuming orders. About 30 minutes later she brings our order but no fries. I had asked for bbq sauce on the side nope forgot that to. My wife asked for a medium burger it was well done not a drop of juice left in it. My sandwich was dry as well. The bun fell apart before I could finish it. Overall a disaster of a meal. No wonder they have a 2.5 star rating. I guess you can call me an early bird. Because sometimes I forget to eat lunch and have a 4 pm dinner. Outback, I'm a little disappointed. It was not busy by any means. There were 3 boths occupied and that was it. The staff was alright... But my server seemed to always forget something I ordered. The food was worse though. I felt like I waited longer than anything and it came out cold! The mac and cheese was like soup! I wasn't too happy about it. Don't try it; I have done your homework for you. The place used to be decent - for a chain, but still the delivery was what you might expect. The quality was a solid 5 and if you got the right server it wasn't a wait that made you want to bail. We just gave it one last try and left after 10 minutes of sitting in a crusty booth with a dirty menu and no one even taking a drink order. The menu has been revamped with premium prices; don't be fooled into thinking that means an upgrade. Basically the same stuff, just more expensive and frankly, if I am going to have a bad meal I'd prefer to have it under $50. My wife and I are visiting. Came here when we arrived on weekend and there was a false wait, lots of empty tables! Thought short staff might be a weekend issue and we returned on Tuesday night. We were told 30 minute wait. Again a false wait! Within site of hostess stand were 4 empty 4 top tables - all covered in dirty dishes! No manager seen during our 33 minute wait! Why did we wait? Food was good first time even though multiple servers came to our table to try and cover our needs! Tuesday night it was 5 minutes before a server stopped by. This place lacks management! Well I wish we would have read the reviews. If we had,we would not have gone. Our boy gave us a gift card for a date night so sorry he wasted his money. My wife and I ordered the prime rib and our order was taken promptly. Then we waited and waited and waited for our medium prime rib. When it finally came it was very medium rare, closer to rare, and there was no au jus or horseradish. We were told by Brandi, our server, that the au jus had to be heated and she didn't want our prime rib to get cold. So, again we waited and waited when the au jus and horseradish finally came our prime rib was not only way under cooked but, you guessed it, it was cold. Good thing it was under cooked, so they could heat it up and cook it the way we ordered it. Please folks, I cannot say strongly enough, this Outback Steakhouse is the worst. This is one of my favorite places to go if I am in the mood for a juicy steak. This was the first time I've been since their decor has changed, and I'm not a huge fan. But I'm not going there for the decor so whatever. Usually we will get a very kind and gracious server, but when we went this past Friday our waitress was a little cold. She must have just been having a bad day. My husband and I will usually order the cheese fries as an appetizer. He likes the ribs and I will almost always get a steak and mashed potatoes. I am in love with their specialty drinks, particularly the Strawberry Bull. Quite possibly the rudest staff I've ever witnessed. No class what so ever and actually looked pissed the entire time. Apparently someone made them work and they were all pissed that day as reported by a server. Of course they passed that on to the patrons (who actually pay their wages....) and we had to endure the worst meal in years. The management should be embarrassed to have such unprofessional staff. If I was the owner, I would fire everyone and start over. St George is full of lively energetic people that want a job and I'm sure they will have a line out the door.... a note to the servers, you make the meal and are failing this establishment. Visited this location on November 30th. It has been nearly a full month since I sent a complaint to the HQ email. No reply at all. Our visit went bad from the start. We were placed directly beside the bathrooms. Yes, there were other tables open - got pictures to prove it. To cut to the chase, the wife's steak was medium-rare when she asked for well done. Blood running from the steak. My pork porterhouse was rare when I asked for medium. Cool on the inside. My cell phone photos prove my words. Send the meat back? Would have but, our waiter was too busy chatting with people his own age. Not sure why we left him any tip at all. We decided to eat as much as possible hoping for the best. Next day, I was vomiting in the toilet at the Courtyard Marriot we stayed at. Trip to Zion Nat'l Park was shot. Restaurant management has been silent. We and our friends and family have checked Outback Steakhouse off our list. Senior citizens love to share bad experiences. Trust no food at this place. Better yet - try the Five Guys Burgers done the street. They cook they food. read more

Restaurant was literally half empty when we arrived and it took 35 minutes to get seated, we ordered right away as we figured they were very short staffed, which stinks, but we understand. That happens. Got our food after 40 minutes, so definitely short staffed in the kitchen, at least I hope they were to justify those 40 minutes. I wouldn't leave a negative review for times, but we ordered shrimp, both on the surf and turf and one of my kids wanted the appetizer for her meal. I should of taken a picture, but was hungry after waiting so long. Each shrimp could have fit on a quarter, not exaggerating. I ordered the ribeye medium rare and it was cooked to perfection and delicious! Couldn't have asked for better! I don't know why this Outback has such low ratings but they are one of the better ones. Normally this out back had good food. However, this last two experiences I've had it this outback have been horrifying!!! I don't understand what is happened, I think maybe that the business has changed hands and they don't give a crap about the customer anymore. The service was horrible. This was my daughter's birthday! I asked when we walked in at a 5:45 that it was her birthday!that it was my gift to her and that I wanted it to be special! And how did they make it special for me? By giving us crappy service crappy food, and we had to ask for the check after the food server and then, the girl brings out a dish of ice cream and says well you know we normally sing happy birthday to you but we're a little busy right now so we can't do that. I'm sorry I think that that is unacceptable behavior! I asked for special treatment and was perfectly willing to tip good for that kind of service. I told the waitress I would would have gladly left her a $25 tip had she given good service. The food server told us that we were bad to her even though we clean the table put all the plates together so they could be removed easily and were polite as we could possibly be,However I left nothing! Not only were the hostesses, rude the food servers bad ,the manager couldn't even be bothered to come by. So this will be my last dinner in this outback! This was not a good visit to Outback. First what is the get in line from their website? After getting in line we have to wait 30 minutes, then we get there and have to wait 25 more minutes, whatever. Then our waitress doesn't come to take our order, so another waiter finally takes our order for her. Then we wait and wait. The table next to us that ordered at the same time gets there food. Then the other table that came after us hers their food. Finally our food comes and it is wrong. I ordered loaded baked potato and no loaded. My wife's is totally the wrong food shrimp instead of chicken and no baked potato at all. They finally get it right, my wife said the chicken was good and tender. My ribs were okay but half of them where dry. Then the waitress offers my wife free desert to make up for screwing everything up. Very disappointed.
