I am soooo glad this cafe is near by because I absolutely love everything about it! Their baked goods are displayed and all look very appetizing. I ordered the pecan tart and I will order it again! It's that good! The customer service was very patient with me. I was on the phone and had to excuse myself as she was patiently waiting for me to give her my order. I ordered the affogato with nutella gelato. When I received it, I was surprised to find something on top. It was so beautiful, I didn't want to dig into it. Everything in that affogato was soooo delicious. I had to call the cafe to ask what was on top and found it was an oatmeal raisin cookie! It totally complimented the affogato! Thanks for that hook up! I'll be ordering that cookie separately next time! The cafe itself is spacious. There was lots of people inside enjoying each others' company and their food and drinks! First off, the staff here is amazingly nice! Super knowledgeable and kind, and they move the line quickly. Menu is easy to understand, not super complicated if it's your first time here! Cafe is on the smaller side but they have some dine in seating, outside has much more seating if you plan on spending some time. Drinks are crafted nicely and the food and pastries look amazing, I really wish I can try them all they look THAT good wow!! Absolutely love this bakery! Everything is made from scratch and tastes incredible, you can really tell the quality in every bite. I came for brunch and ordered a cranberry walnut scone (my absolute favorite!!), the honey lavender latte, and the bacon and egg sandwich which was so delicious. I also picked up a fresh sourdough baguette to take home! The service is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Found hair in my food -- very disappointing experience I had a very unpleasant experience at Pandora Restaurant. I ordered an Almond Croissant and found a hair baked inside it. When I informed the manager, instead of apologizing or showing concern, he said, "It happens, it's an accident." This response was very unprofessional and made me feel that hygiene isn't taken seriously here. Later, the manager even told me to go get a refund because they needed the table -- which felt very disrespectful. I also spoke to the owner, but unfortunately, he reacted the same way -- as if finding hair in food was a normal thing. I was left with the impression that they don't follow proper food safety or cleanliness standards. I hope they take this matter seriously and improve their hygiene and customer service, because no customer should experience this. read more

I have to say, I expected more, this was my third try there and I won't be going back. They can't even make a proper mocha. It's more like a chocolate shake even when I requested light mocha. The part that really turned me off was the restroom. Filthy at 10am and NO hand soap. How the heck do the employees wash their hands properly. Large slice of ciabatta with roasted veggies and topped with a poached egg... what more could you ask for?! Delicious every time. The OMG latte is quite the sugar bomb, so only order this if you're craving something sweet. It is dessert in a cup, but is delicious nonetheless, and I enjoy ordering it occasionally. Their fresh breads are delicious as well and I have taken a loaf or two home on several occasions. The Staff: generally helpful and friendly. Seem to know the menu well and willing to answer questions. The overall vibe: trendy, cute, and hip. I like the option of indoor/outdoor seating. I've been here so many times with friends but never remember to leave a review. Today's the day! Service here is pretty nice. Surprising array of foods for what is ostensibly a coffee & desserts place. Parking is plentiful but seating is a gamble. They have indoor and outdoor tables but it's pretty limited. A big factor that adds to it is that people tends to linger at the tables, chatting and ordering extra desserts or drinks. I've been guilty of lingering so no judgments. Anyway, this time I ordered the chicken pesto panini. I love basil and seeing the panini also has eggplant cinched it. Matcha latte is from a mix which makes it too sweet for me so I asked for extra water. They charged me another dollar for just extra water for my $6 beverage so that was an unpleasant surprise. The pastry case is usually full of pretty things but I don't like very sweet sweets so I haven't tried the more extravagantly decorated items. Croissants are huge and flaky. Almond croissant is also very good with the addition of almond paste filling and slivered almonds on top. This visit we ordered another puff pastry item, this time one topped with baked apple slices and pistachios. It was only okay, slightly lackluster in the flavor department. I ordered the Via Havana sandwich with fries and an OMG latte. The fries were the best I've had in awhile. They have homemade ketchup that I felt was too watery for my own personally liking. The latte was incredibly sweet, over powering with some sips. Loved the sandwich and as noted in other comments it is a lot! Definitely a shareable size. I have eaten at the Pandor in Newport a few times and the new one at Lakeshore tower. Both are pretty consistent. This was my first time at the one by my house. Cafe is very cute and clean, young girl at the counter very nice. Parisian omelet - very dry inside and out. Cooked in to hot of a pan, which made the outside brown and tough. First off on multiple occasions there was a younger woman that took orders that was completely standoffish and rude. I had my dog with me and their accessibility from the patio to the inside of the restaurant was very convenient. Came to get something from this bakery. I got here at 854 pm and the doors were locked. The times on the door and online clearly show that they close at 9pm. The employees looked at me through the door and continued to walk around as if they were actually closed. It was apparent that they didn't want my money. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Huge portions, pleasant atmosphere, and reasonable prices. A friend who lives nearby suggested this place for a mid-afternoon meetup and it did not disappoint! (Crisp on outer, soft inside) I have been to the ones in Orange, Irvine, and Mission Viejo. I have to say they all have their own unique vibe. Orange reminds me of Old and classy cafes in europe. Irvine is lot more organized and cleaner than orange. I love Mission viejo since it is newly opened and the staffs are so welcoming. Parking is great! Seats are plentiful! Food is awesome!
