I haven't been back to this place in about a year and a lot has changed. Firstly we were not asked what size noodles for the pho we wanted when our orders were taken. I quickly remember the noodle size and called over another server to ask for the size noodles we wanted : we were assured the changes were made to the kitchen. Secondly when we received our pho, it was the wrong size noodles. We let the server know and instead of replacing our pho bowl, he asked if we wanted him To bring out some extra large noodles on the side. Why would I want to add extra large noodles to the already overfilling noodles bowls. Thirdly, the servers were all standing together talking in the middle of the restaurant talking. It was very unprofessional. Lastly I would like to comment that the broth this time was very fatty. Perfect place to take someone if they don't want just pho, but their combination pho was still good regardless. One of the highlights of our visit was the owner herself, although I initially thought she was just an employee. I overheard her introduce herself to another table and realized she runs the place. REVIEW FROM 2/15/26 (which I thought I posted...) This is a copy of the e-mail I sent to management regarding our first experience here: I have to say (as much as I wanted to enjoy our FIRST visit at your establishment) we absolutely were highly, to the utmost disappointed in our service tonight. Our waitress (Chau?) came by our table to take our order and we NEVER saw her again. We ordered an appetizer and two pho's. We received our appetizer and before we even took a bite, one minute later our entrees arrived. We, like most diners, prefer to enjoy our app and receive our entree AFTER the appetizer plates have been removed. This was not the case tonight. I counted how many times our waitress passed our table (a dozen) and NOT ONCE check to see how everything was. To add to our frustration at this point here are other things we noted: - trash was still in the black basket when we sat down - we ordered water and never received those (until ten mins later another server brought them. - waitress never brought the straw to go w the Thai tea we ordered (which she claimed she would bring right back). - we had three to four different people we had to flag down for service. - the Hoisin sauce ran out and we were unable to get more. - we had to get up and get more bags for our food. - we had to get up and get more containers for food. - one waiter stood by and watched as this was going on and not once offered to assist. - our table was NEVER cleared of dirty dishes. - one waiter dropped our check immediately after we bagged everything up. I must say, dropping the check was the fastest service we received all night. With all of this being said, I will commend the food you serve. Everything was delicious and now we see why there was a small wait out the door when we arrived. However, terrible service will always supersede awesome, delicious food in a lot of books. Mine included. It is sad to say because we would love to come again for the food but after this experience we will not be returning. read more
