They did not answer the phone--on hold greater than 20 minutes and then recording said "we're unable to take your call". Okay, I wish this could be higher, but Mother's Day was a complete debacle from a time management point of view. Even though I had placed my order in the morning for a 4:45 pick-up. Food was finally ready at 6:20. But the young crew at the door handled a frustrated and sometimes hostile crowd with sensitivity and aplomb, and for that they get two stars. I don't usually rate chain restaurants because they are usually pretty consistent with their food. Red lobster is red lobster. You can always expect it to taste the same. I am rating because our server Stephanie was excellent. She was very attentive, always had our drinks filled and even brought a water for our 10 month old baby. This Red Lobster has severely declined both in service and, more importantly, food quality, over the last few months, beginning even before the pandemic lockdown. Food is cold and, worse, old (old crab is yucky!!). Selections choices are very reduced. I had hoped that they would return to a higher quality level as the lockdown restrictions were lifted, but so far it has not happened. Pity. Wife and I tried it once more in December and it was still sub-par. The Stuffed Mushrooms tasted very fishy and there was more cheesy sauce than mushroom. I had fish and it was poorly done. OK, I admit it...I do have a thing for their cheese biscuits. Oh my gosh, fresh from the oven, piping hot, is there anything better than those first few bites? It is a guilty pleasure for sure! We stopped in on a Tuesday evening & were pleased that we were seated immediately at a booth in the bar area. It was not loud at all & Patrick (the bartender) was a wonderful server; attentive without being intrusive. The included salad was tasty as always; their salads, though kind of basic, always seem be perfectly crisped & good. For my entree, I got the blackened wild caught cod which I couldn't have been happier with. It was perfectly cooked, tender, moist, flaky, yeah pretty perfect. Although the "wild caught" fresh fish options are more pricey, I am so glad that Red Lobster always has a few non-farm raised options to satisfy my obsession with such things. I certainly made a mistake by going to this resturant the other night. Shame on me! Should've known better. First let me say our service was absolutely fine . The waitress was very nice. Now the food. Bring your own. I ordered 6 oysters on the half shell as an appetizer and a lobster/shrimp combo. What I got was no oysters and tge lobster and shrimp were served chilled as a cocktail on shaved ice. It should have been served as a hot dish with rice and vegetables. How on earth they came chilled I have no idea. Maybe the waitress wrote it up incorrectly. The lobster tail must have come from a juvenile lobster because it was skinny and no more 2 inches long. The shrimp, only 4 were under sized although the menu said jumbo. This "dish" cost $17. What a rip. My son had the admiral platter which was fried, clams, scallops, shrimp and flounder. The shrimp was passable as we're the tiny bay scallops and clams. The flounder was over cooked and like rubber and still frozen inside. My wife had a salad and clam chowder, likely canned or frozen in a bag. Mediocre at best. I've been to a Red Lobster in Provo, Utah because my son wanted to go. If I could give zero stars I would! The GM really should be a shame of herself this restaurant is being ran less than subpar. The restaurant isn't clean at all! The poor manager on duty is trying his best to accommodate everyone however clearly the issues are a reflection from higher up. Kathy our waitress was amazing and the issues were beyond her. This is supposed to be a test store! Items have been eliminated from the menu however at 8pm on a Friday you run out of sides?!?! We waited over a hour to get our food! We both ordered the ultimate feast...My husband's steak was well done. He ordered medium well! My lobster was over cooked, one out of the three orders were correct. Corporate really needs to take a deeper dive! This is a major coaching opportunity! If changes are not made this location will fail horribly. The manager on duty apologized and adjusted our bill. Coming from Canada I was a little surprised to see the prices were somewhat similar to Canada. Ok. 1st we came with my elderly grandma and although we were seated immediately. They walked us to the back of the restaurant past 4 empty tables that were the same exact size they sat us in. This always irritates me. When you have an elderly person in a party dont make them walk to the furthest table. 2. When we sat down there was no silverware. We ordered drinks and then rachel (who was great)came back and took our order and delivered our drinks. We ordered broccoli, they were out. Ordered mashed potatoes, they were out. Ordered red shimp, they were out and then still no silverware or bread. We ask about bread and were told its baking and will be out shortly. It took about 12 mins. Rachel delivered our salads but no silverware. We asked 2 other waitresses and finally after about 6 mins of sitting there with salads but no forks to eat it, another waitress brought them and sorry there is a disconnect between the front of the house and us tonight. Okay, sometimes, just sometimes, you have to go to a main stream restaurant and we both felt like seafood last night and didn't want to figure something else out with a cranky baby. So Red Lobster came up. We shared the Harberfest with a side of crab legs (man, we love shell fish) and ordered the baby chicken and fries. The waiter was very good and kept up with us and the baby. He made sure we had crackers and bisects before anything else. The food overall was pretty good, the lobster tail was one of the biggest I've gotten at Red Lobster, but appeared to be a bit on the older side since it was tough and the flavor was off. So needless to say, we left some of that on the plate. The grilled shrimp, shrimp scampi and crab legs were all great. As well as the Cesar salad and mashed potatoes. The baby was quite happy on the starch diet, eating mostly bisects and french fries. When you just don't want to think a lot about eating out and seafood is on your mind, Red Lobster is a pretty simple and mostly reliable selection. read more

I try not to complain, but today's experience with this location was absolutely horrible. When I called into place an order I was on hold for six minutes. And then took an additional 12 minutes for my order to be placed. The female I was speaking to you when placing my order was totally incompetent of working at this place. She had to put me on hold several times because she didn't know the answers to the questions about basics on the menu. After my order was placed I then got a call from another female at the restaurant inquiring what I had ordered. Turns out whoever put my order in the systemHad stated that I wanted my salad to come with a casket and they did not know what that meant. Again knowing the individual who took my order was so incredibly incompetent didn't know how to spell Cesar for my salad rather put casket. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my food I had to go to the most small and awkward corner of the bar which was on attended. When I arrived at the Tigo table there was no employees manning the desk. I had to sit there for a couple minutes making awkward I contact with waiters so that they would call someone over. When the representative came over I paid for my meal she reviewed the order and I left. However she did not fully show me what was in the bag and when I got home my order was incorrect. I was also missing the drink that came with my kids meal. Icing on the cake is that I tried to add my points onto the Red Lobster app and it is not working. On a visit to Arizona, I agreed to eat here after a rave review from my sister about their Bottomless Shrimp deal ($16.99). From my sister's recommendation, my family opted for the Bottomless Shrimp, which includes endless shrimp as well as a salad and a side. You're allowed to pick two different types of shrimp dishes per round. I was surprised by the generous amount of shrimp in each dish. This red lobster is definitely not skimpy with portions. I was also surprised at how tasty the dishes were - definitely not what I was expecting from a chain. My favorite was the Parmesan shrimp but the garlic butter shrimp comes in a close second. The service, specifically our waitress, was what elevated this dining experience from a typical chain restaurant meal to an enjoyable family outing. Sheree was so accommodating and made us feel completely comfortable and taken care of. I would definitely come back and be sure to request Sheree to be my waitress! read more

We ordered the new tuna poke for appetizer (this we both really enjoyed; flavored well with just a little spice to it), my husband said in the future he'd order this as his entrée along with a salad and a cup of soup and he'd be happy. It was a fair serving size too for the price (good job on this one). We also ordered some of the clam chowder. I may be a bit of a snob being from the Boston area originally, but I thought it was pretty bland with hardly anything but broth; potatoes are cheap and I found 2 small potato pieces in the entire cup not to mention hardly any clams (I'll pass next time). For the entrée we got the broiled flounder; this was cooked well but didn't have much flavor either; some butter and herbs would really help this dish (plenty of fish in one serving though, we shared). I also ordered the broiled scallops (unfortunately over-cooked). Scallops can be a challenge for many cooks so I won't hold this one against them too much but timing is crucial so you don't end up with a rubbery stump. I ordered a side order of shrimp scampi too; these were good and I ended up pouring the extra sauce over the flounder to boost the flavor. Other than the tuna poke, it was just okay. read more

I want to love Red Lobster, I see their commercials for All you can eat shrimp, or Lobsterfest and start drooling and think to myself, we have to go there that looks GREAT! Every time I go I am more and more disappointed. The wait times are always long even for a chain food restaurant. The meals are always sub-par for what I am paying. I don't expect San Francisco melt in your mouth 200.00 a plate goodness, but I do expect something more decent besides chewy lobster tail. The service is OK, our waiter was really nice this last time, but I just wasn't overly thrilled with everything else. All in all I believe Red Lobster (this location and the Metro Center Location I can attest to) should revisit their menu and kitchen prep as a whole.
