I've been trying to find a bbq spot that matches what I had in Texas so I was excited that a new bbq spot opened on 2nd St. Parking was tricky as it was street parking only. I ordered the beef brisket plate which came with two sides and I picked Mac and cheese and potato salad. I thought the brisket was okay, it was more on the dry side. The potato salad tasted good though, I like that they added eggs in it. Overall, I would come back again and try other items off the menu. read more

Great menu! Amazing staff! We decided to try the Korean Short ribs with Kimche and Mac& cheese. And so glad we did. Loved it! We also had the brisket heaven sandwich, it was perfect! So, we ordered one to go for someone at home. The sides are surprisingly just as good as the bbq. All homemade I highly recommend the potato salad and Mac and cheese. The standout is their pickled vegis don't skip that on the condiments isle. We will definitely come back to try more read more

Meat was cold when it was served to me. They reheated it and it went from 1 to 2. It was just dry and not too flavorful. Staff was nice. This was a Saturday night (6pm) mind you. I'm in the area a lot and had passed by this place a few times, so we finally decided to check it out. It's a nice, cozy BBQ spot with a laid-back vibe. Valerie, the cashier/waitress, was awesome--super patient and helpful, especially since it was our first time there. She walked us through the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. I'm not a big fan of BBQ. However, I am a huge fan of this place. Most places that make BBQ seem to rely on drowning stuff in sauce. That is where I have to say RIBBRO is different. It's BBQ but on a different level. Their meat is tender and delicious with just the right amount of sauce. Not saying they don't have it on hand if you need more although the way I have received multiple sandwiches seems to be perfect. Although I will say the BBQ Chicken I do add their Honey Mustard (It's amazing.). Needless to say It is probably the first time I have returned to a BBQ place in my life which is also the reason recommend it to friends and now YOU!!! Looking forward to next meal. True score is more like 3.75 out of 5. You can tell the owners and workers take pride in their food and ambiance! Well done. The food itself is not bad, but it definitely needed some attention (opinion). While tasty, the beef brisket was sooooooop dry and falling apart into small pieces, even with a mix of fatty and lean. Had to persistently drown the brisket in BBQ to get past the dryness. The BBQ sauces (all 3) are VERY good! The almond coleslaw was so yummy. The potato salad was good but like, the flavors were certainly not popping. Fries were bomb! Ranch is good, albeit a little on the salty side. The 'toppings/sides bar' was a nice touch with pickles, pepperoncinis, etc. I LOVED that the menu was labeled with GF (gluten free) symbols, given that I have to be on a gluten free (not by choice). Many options for gluten intolerant peeps. So nice! Cashier was friendly and nice, and so was the chef! The whole restaurant is so cute and well decorated. Even the restrooms were well decorated and VERY clean. Will likely be back to try the other meats. Hoping they won't be dry. (Haha). read more

Came here today for a soft opening. Didn't have the full menu but what we had was so tasty. I got the brisket sandwich with a side of veggies and the serving was great. I had their regular and spicy bbq sauce and they tasted good. Not too sweet which is what I prefer. The spicy bbq sauce was not too spicy at all and made my sandwich great. We also had their fries and onion rings and those were the best tasting side I had in a while. Truly fried to perfection and the flavor of both were just what I needed to balance out the meal. Truly get the fries or onion rings as the side, you won't regret it. The fact they had a serve yourself bar that included pickles and banana peppers was amazing! Truly made me excited to come back for their grand opening to try everything else! read more

We went for dinner on a Friday night and joined the line just before the doors opened. The line grew pretty quickly too! As others have mentioned, you order at the register, and that's also where you have an opportunity to taste test wine - and we did our fair share of tasting before landing on our selections. It was challenging to order because the entire menu looks great, but we went with the Caesar Salad, White bean salad, broccolini, and lemon pasta. Needless to say, this was more than enough food for us! As Alexa shared, we enjoyed everything but would possibly skip the broccolini next time to try something else and ideally come with a bigger group to try even more of the options and dine family style! It's so huge. It's very good. Nothing out of the ordinary but good presentation. Executed well. We got this cucumber, tomato onion corn mix in a vinaigrette. That was super refreshing and good. We added Burrata cheese. Great We got the sourdough bread. The fancy butter was shockingly bomb. And the jam was super good. Light. That was fantastic. And that was it. No pasta! How do we go without even the waffle? I wanted the waffle! The wine was good. I like that everyone who came to our table knew the menu but like they enjoyed the menu. So giving us the rundown of everything felt like I was in a friend's restaurant. And I appreciate that we could sample the wine.

I walked up to hostess and check in. 5 mins later we were seated. I did quick look around, good vibes all around, family time and one on one. Our waitress came, she was friendly, went over a couple things we asked. We decided to go with meatballs for appetizers, salad, double pepperoni with added mushrooms, and I got beer of course haha. Meatballs and salads came out within minutes. Meatballs was great, not too hot. I took one bite of the salad and it was fresh. Beer was cold and tasty. Pizza came in no time, hot like a pie. When I fold the pizza in half it made that sweet crunchy sound that only real pizza lovers know. The taste was delicious, good blend of pepperoni, mushroom and cheese. Of course someone wanted to try dessert too in the end. Put this on your list folks, a must try.

i have a wheat flour allergy and asked if the wings were gf. the woman working went to go check and informed me that the gochujang was not gf and offered me lemon pepper or spicy buffalo. i ordered spicy buffalo and asked if they offered any cider or just beer. the woman responded "well our happy hour has onion rings and fries".... ok? so i got the soju cocktail and let this strange interaction pass. i go to the restroom to wash my hands and someone starts banging on the door. when i walk out i see a man who apparently works there. again, weird. once i get my wings i notice they don't look like typical spicy buffalo, and after eating a couple they seem like they are actually the gochujang wings. i asked the man at the counter if he can confirm what they are because of my allergy. he says yes, they are buffalo they just make their own sauce so it looks different. as i continue eating the woman comes over and says they would like to remake my order since i don't like the taste. then the man informed me that some of the gochujang sauce may have gotten into the buffalo mix. they bring out a huge plate of wings that are obviously coated in a different spicy buffalo sauce. currently as i write this i am enduring the reaction to my allergy from the workers feeding me the one thing i said i couldn't eat lol. and thinking about how they tried to gaslight me to cover their mistake. i don't typically write bad reviews but the level of incompetence is insane. one of the strangest restaurant experiences i've had that legit felt like the twilight zone. wings were also not anything special to get an allergic reaction over. please properly train your employees! huge indicator of bad management read more

I recently visited RibBro BBQ in Long Beach, and I must say, it was an utter disappointment. I ordered the "Joy Box," which is advertised as a "family meal" meant to feed up to 4-5 people. The cost was $110, and with tax and the "recommended" 18% gratuity, the total came to over $140! When the food arrived, it was a sorry excuse for a "family meal." It was more like a meal for 2, and there was no way it was going to fill up 4 grown adults. Needless to say, it felt like a complete ripoff. RibBro BBQ isn't fine dining, but they certainly charge fine dining prices, which is just plain wrong. It's simply a takeout restaurant with obscene prices. To make matters worse, the service was extremely rude and slow. I spoke to the skinny guy at the counter and mentioned they were out of toilet paper in the restroom, and he rudely replied with, "Yeah, ok! I know!" This level of service is unacceptable. Overall, I would not recommend RibBro BBQ. The food portions are misleading, the prices are outrageous, and the service is downright rude. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I never suggested that it was a "hidden fee", I just pointed out that it is a very high fee for ordering online. As pointed out before, ordering online directly from a restaurant does not usually incur a fee, let alone a $6 fee. If Diana feels that ordering online is so onerous, then maybe she should deactivate that feature and encourage her customers to phone in their orders. Diana should also consider not badgering customers that did not have a good experience with her restaurant and consider taking some classes in Customer Service 101. It's not a good way to run a business and the fastest way to lose customers. ***UPDATE FOLLOWING DIANA M's RESPONSE*** It's unfortunate that the owner responded with excuses and condescension. A simple "Hey, sorry for the mishap, we will make sure it won't happen again" would have sufficed. At least that way, she likely would have had a returning customer since the food is good.
