I love ST Noodle Bar! This place serves up a mean Thai boat noodle. I also enjoy their veggie egg rolls and Thai tea. I recently tried their spring rolls, but they just weren't for me, they had an almost bitter taste. The service here is always attentive and speedy, and the restaurant itself is clean with an aesthetically pleasing ambiance. Overall, I look forward to exploring more of their menu in the future, and I recommend ST Noodle Bar to anyone in the area looking for a solid Thai spot.
They have an amazing papaya salad! I usually just come here for that and sometimes a Thai Iced Tea. The lighting is so dim that I thought a chili was a carrot. I was in such shock when I bit into it that I quickly put my fingers into my mouth, threw the chili right out and started laughing at myself. With a few couples surrounding me, I get why their trying to go for that romantic vibe. I dig the soft jazz too! I just hope I didn't ruin their dates by my bad table manners. Whoops. My server was very kind and quick to refill my drinks. I didn't tell her about my chili incident, but I did leave it sitting on my napkin partially chewed to give it some attention just in case it wasn't supposed to be there. I love this dish, so, if this is how it's made, I'm still coming back to get it.
Delightful dinner and service! Casual spot but the food was top notch. Our server was sweet, friendly and attentive. We stuck to the basics for our meal, but I thought they were some of the best I've had! Our spring rolls were huge. I usually prefer a thinner, more acidic dipping sauce but their house sauce was actually perfect! I think it was a hoisin based creation. The entrees were well prepared and flavorful, with the perfect amount of spice. The pad thai was delicious, authentically drier versus saucy. Eaten with the curry it was a divine bite. The Panang curry sauce was addictive. Looking forward to trying some of the other menu items! We found a parking spot right in front of the restaurant, and it was a 30 minute but the hostess said it was no problem. There is also a lot nearby that I'm sure patrons of the many small businesses in this neighborhood use.
Food- love the Thai spicy. It may burn going down for for me, but I kept going back for more. Good portion with lots of a accouterments. Service - attentive, but not intrusive. Cleanliness- respectable Parking - plenty of park, but can be challenging during peak hours.
Spicy lemon noodles 8/10 - great blend of flavors, strong lemon taste - Ask for extra broth or sauce - Ground pork is yummy with the noodles - Peanuts add a great crunch and taste. If you aren't a fan of peanuts i recommend removing them Khao Soi 10/10 - tender and juicy sparerib no bone - Curry is bursting with flavor - The vegetables go well with the meat and curry - Can't go wrong with this Tom Yum Soup 8/10 - Very good blend of various proteins - Peanuts added a great crunch - Salty, sour and spicy works well together Vegetables Egg Rolls 8/10 - very basic egg rolls but still good - not a wow favor but still good - Ask for peanut suace! Thai tea 8/10 - on the sweeter side This is a great spot yo try out new types of noodles! All of their meals are very fulfilling and can be shared or taken to go for later. They customer service is great here. They are very kind and friendly. This is a laid back restaurant but the small space creates an intimate atmosphere.
Came here with a group of 9 for an early dinner. Service was friendly and accommodating for our large group. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken with mild spiciness. It was good but I think I'll increase the spicy level since mild was barely spicy. The chicken was a tad dry for my liking. All in all, a decent option for Thai food in the Long Beach/Lakewood area.
We ordered the Khao Soi (curry soup with egg noodles) and Thai Boat Noodle (beef stew with rice noodles). Both were incredibly savory and delicious. The spring rolls were fresh and perfectly balanced with every bite. We loved this place and will definitely be back!
The food wall all prepared deliciously good! The service was fast and all the staffs are very welcoming and helpful! One of our servers named Bho!.. The place was cleaned and very family friendly! Theres a lot of food option in every ages.
We (party of 4) started with the Crying Tiger and Gyoza dumplings appetizers and they were both delicious, but we were just getting started and there was more to follow. For the main course, we ordered the Eggplant with basil (with pork add-on), the Pla Rad Prik (fried fish fillet) and Khao Soi (my wife's favorite dish) and they were cooked to perfection. Singha beer and sticky rice with mango completed the meal and we left very satisfied with our dining experience at S/T Noodle Bar.
04.13.2025 Was going to eat some Vietnames Pho but ran into this place. We took our chances to try something new. This place is a fusion of Ramen and Thai Food. Entered the restaurant and was greeted nicely by the host. Sat down by the window. Our menus were handed to us, a few minutes later our server came by to ask us what we wanted to drink and eat. Ordered a Pepsi and sprite. Rib noodle soup and coconut flavored chicken soup. 5 minutes later our food was ready and was served to us. I was honestly impressed how prompt the service was. Kudos to that. Our food was delicious! No complaints. Everything was perfect for our first time dining experience here at this location. Also, Kudos to our server Pete! He was really nice. Pete and the staff kept asking us if we were okay and satisfied. Refilled my soda at will. They really care about their customers. Very genuine attitude. This place is a hidden gem. You may just pass by it like it was just a mom and pop restaurant, but as soon as you walk in there is alot of seating avaliable. Ambiance felt homey and warm. I would come back anytime. Their menu is stacked with different entrees. Plenty of street parking!
One of our favorite Thai restaurants in Long Beach and definitely worth the drive. The service is excellent, feels like you're at home with mom. The food is outstanding, unique, tasty and delicious! Looking forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu.
Saw a reel/tiktok about their rib eye noodles and had to come try. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Rib eye khao soi - so much flavor. It's like a curry noodle soup. So rich and creamy, rib eye was cooked to perfection - soft and tender. One of our favorite dishes hands down. We also got the crab fried rice - generous portions of crab. Loved it. Eggplant with tofu - eggplant was good. We weren't a fan of the tofu used but that's okay. We all have different preferences. My friend and I came on a Thursday night at 8pm. They close at 9pm. So the place was a little empty but didn't mind it. Quality of food was great despite nearing closing time. Inside has plenty of seating. Super clean inside. Staff was super friendly. I would come again to support this local spot!
I had Beef Khao Soi (medium) from this place (I dined in) yesterday for lunch and I had a very very very bad food poisoning. This was the only thing I ate yesterday too. I was on the toilet from 6pm all the way to 11am the next day (today). I don't know what happened but this is not okay. I couldn't eat anything else until 1pm the next day (today) and my stomach has been gurgling and in so much physical pain. Truly messed up. I still hear my stomach gurgling as I type out this review. My coworker told me that I should call the restaurant to let them know I got food poisoning from eating their food but I'm not sure if they'd do anything about it considering this below was my experience with their service yesterday When I came in, I asked the server if there was anywhere I could charge my laptop while I eat lunch, and she said no. But upon walking me to my table, I pointed out an outlet next to my table and the server said "actually we don't allow it, but today it's okay". I don't understand what the fuss was and why she lied to me. Not very friendly or accommodating or welcoming.

Busy, but service is 5/5 and food 5/5. First time here and had their new item Ribeye Khao Soi Ramen and my new favorite dish! Tender rib eye slices and egg noodles with Khao Soi sauce. Chicken appetizer was well seasoned and tender. Dessert was sticky rice mango, not too sweet but sweet enough with fresh cut mango. All 5/5! We got there around 7 pm and were promptly seated. 7:30 got really busy and people were waiting outside for seats. Definitely a must. read more

thai boat noodle: 8/10 khao soi with beef: 8/10 both were very generous portion sizes. sometimes when ordering noodle soups, you receive too much noodle and not enough protein. this isn't the case here at ST noodle bar! the ratio of beef to noodle in the khao soi was perfect. service is so friendly and attentive, even during the awkward hours around 3-4pm when it's slow. i liked how there are options for 2 dining sections, either an area with ample natural lighting towards the front of the restaurant or an area towards the back/kitchen/restrooms, which felt slightly more private and quiet (what i was looking for today). i would definitely return for these 2 noodle soups! read more

This place is a warm hug to the soul. Every time I am in town this is my #1 must eat location. Quaint little hole in the wall. The workers are super nice and the food always comes out quick and perfect. The Khao Soi is the most delicious dish I have ever had and their Pad See Ew is the best of any Thai restaurant in the area. read more

Amazing find! If you're a fan of Ramen I highly recommend this gem. The noodles are perfectly cooked, the broth is creamy, flavorful and delicious - the Rib Eye ramen is my go to. Fair prices, not super cheap but worth every penny. The service is always fast, definitely worth a try. read more

Saw this in IG and had to come try it. Place is tiny and decor is definitely interesting. But I'm not there for the decor. My daughter and I like to try new places all the time. We ordered the Crying Tiger (Ribeye) cooked to our perfection... medium rare. Not many places know how to do that. When they brought the plate it smelled so good and the taste was wonderful. We also ordered the Wonton Soup. Our family loves wonton soup, something we order all the time, so this soup hit the spot. The CharSiu (BBQ Pork) had a lot of flavor. I also liked how it was presented. The soup stayed hot the whole time we were there. Then of course I had to order the Papaya Salad (mild spicy level for me). It did not disappoint. Looked and tasted very fresh. Loved how colorful everything was and the food was really good. We will definitely come back with the whole family. Can't wait to eat the same stuff and add a couple of other things, like the fried rice and maybe will add the mango sticky rice. Last but not least, the staff was amazing. S T Noodle bar was recommended by a friend because of their Khao Soi. It is a very spacious restaurant and I didn't have to wait at all. I got the papaya salad and the chicken khao soi. You get the customize the heat level so I choose spicy for the papaya salad and that was super spicy! But so good and refreshing. I got medium spice level for the Khao soi and that was the perfect amount of spice. Overall it was good and service was quick too! read more

Food was great. I ordered mango sticky rice. Curry noodle, and crispy pork with Chinese broccoli. All excellent! Mango sticky rice was warm sweet and savory. Noodle was flavorful, and crispy pork with Chinese broccoli had so much umami. Vege was cooked to perfection, crispy pork was as crispy as it can get yet not being dry. Only reason that I would hesitate would be the piece. It is on the pricier end in my opinion. read more

Went here today for lunch, got lucky with a parking space. Very busy area. We were seated in the main area of the restaurant as the front/patio was hot due to the weather. Servers were very friendly and quick. I had the Yellow Curry with Chicken, my partner chose Charbroiled Chicken in a Teriyaki sauce. I ordered mild flavor which was still tasty! My partner thought the chicken was "slimy" and the sauce "tasteless" One customer who was sat close by asked to be moved as the A/C was making her extremely cold. JMO read more

My niece wanted to bring me to ST Noodle Bar after she had a delicious experience on her first visit. Located on Norse Way, parking can be busy but not impossible. We were lucky to score a spot nearby. We were greeted and sat in one of the dining areas. We asked about menu items that could be made vegan and they were happy to accommodate by nixing things like fish sauce and egg. The Tom Ka totally hit the spot in this cold weather. For starters, it's presented in a measuring cup. I appreciated this since I've been food tracking lately and I knew exactly the portion I ate. This Tom Ka was creamier than other Tom Kas that I've had and it was so indulgent and satisfying from the coconut milk and lemongrass. It's filled with large chunks of tofu, mushrooms, and cabbage. Yum! https://bit.ly/3RYqPnU The Crispy Mushroom Salad is interesting. It's basically batter-fried mushrooms on top of salad greens. Though it was good, the ratio was more batter than mushroom. I still ate it...mmm, carbs! They don't skimp on the salad either. Iceberg lettuce, red onion, green onion, tomatoes, and cilantro. Since we asked for no fish sauce which is in the usual dressing, they gave us a sweet and sour sauce. Thank you yelpers for recommending this Thai spot for me. As an ex Thai restaurant kid from the 2000s, I can appreciate STNB. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of Thai food options you would find at most Thai food spots. Lunch special menu has about 12 ish choices and ranges from curries and stir fries served with rice and a simple salad. Today we ordered Chicken Larb and the flavors were spot on. If you are looking for an awesome no carb type of dish, this is what you need to order. Tell them no rice powder. Next we orders the chicken wings. The chicken wings were lightly battered crispy and drenched with a Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. If you don't like saucy, ask for it on the side. Lastly, my friend and I shared a ground chicken thai basil chili and loved the flavors as well. The best part it was served with a fried egg and it was included in the price!!!! read more

Located in a strip mall, where parking can be a challenge at times, filled with a variety of food and small shops, S T Noodle Bar is a hidden gem. You wouldn't know you were there without actively looking for it. The restaurant is a bit on the smaller side, however, seating is maximized and the servers/waiters do a wonderful job at ensuring you get the best service possible. The first thing you'll notice as soon as you enter is you'll be facing a wall, on the other side is the cashier, so just give it a minute for them to come out and seat you. I ordered the fried calamari, which showed up on a beautiful tree. A unique take on serving fried calamari. I enjoyed every bite and the sauce was a great addition as it gave the calamari a little bit of spice. Additionally, I ordered the sparerib ramen (which is recommended in the front). I wasn't fully impressed by it. The spare rib was a bit salty for my taste, however, the ramen was well done. I'll definitely swing by and try this place again and try something else next time, most along the traditional Thai food umbrella. read more
ST noodle bar is hands down my favorite thai spot in long beach. I have tried many thai places in long beach -- and so many I love so so much. ST noodle bar truly takes #1 spot for me. I find myself coming back here countless several times over the years. I was born and raised in the lakewood village area of long beach, and now live in belmont shore and ALWAYS make my way back here no matter what, even though there are others closer to me currently. nothing compares. I love everything from here, but some of my go-tos are: khao soi, yellow curry, panang curry, thai style pasta, pad see ew, m I could probably lust everything on the menu to be honest. I love going with friends and ordering more of a family style and just sharing amongst all of us so I get a taste of it all. I share this spot as THE SPOT to my friends, family, and visitors not from the area. so jealous of you especially any of you in the aerospace industry working near the airport since it's so close to your work!! if you haven't been to ST noodle bar, it's a must. seriously delicious food. lovely staff, and with beautiful presentation. i'll be back soon & can't wait!! read more

Amazing food! Was so excited to try something I've never tried before & the Khao Soi delivered! I got the beef spare rib Khao Soi & it was so good! Also the Pad See Ew was super delicious. I definitely recommend both dishes. Also visually a beautiful place with cute decor & comfortable seating by windows. Went in to have lunch on a weekend. The staff treated me well and were very efficient (although it wasn't very busy that day). The ambience and the decor were nice. I ordered a Beef Pad See Ew and a Chicken Satay. It cost me $25.31 The chicken satay was very interesting to me because this is the first place I've been to where they use a single strip of chicken (almost like a tender) instead of several small pieces per stick. Or maybe I'm just uncultured. Anyways it was pretty good. It was very juicy, not over seasoned, and slides easily off the stick. The pickled cucumbers and peanut sauce were good too. The pad see ew was also pretty yummy. I think they really nailed the ratio of meat to Chinese broccoli to noodle. The noodles were well lubricated and flavored. The beef slices were thin but wide. The Chinese broccoli's crispness was well received. They give out big portion sizes so (especially after eating all of the chicken satay) I took half of it home with me to go. I really appreciated how there wasn't a pool of oil soaked up in/through the bottom of my takeout box by the time I went home. S for Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and T for you know- Thailand. Great jewel that's hidden and their lunch menu is all so tasty. Most combinations are with rice and salad. You must try their many dishes with the authentic taste of the spices of the orient. My favorites are always mild since I'm a big chicken. I just changed to Plant Based & pescatarian, so this hidden gem still has dishes like shrimp and fish with vegetables which were all yummy! I've had their Thai ice tea and coffee at other times too which is a perfect drink to go for work. Enjoy and don't forget to bookmark this one for your next Thai cravingS! read more

Pretty good curry. Good service and clean place. Came with a gf and we slurped the soups down. Perfect for a cold night. Curry didn't come with rice. Rice is extra and the dish itself was close to $20. They did have a generous serving of shrimp as extra ordered. Veggies were fresh too. read more

If you're looking for Thai Boat Noodles closer to the Northside LB/Lakewood area, this is the spot to go! My friends and I usually go to Long Beach Thai for their boat noodles, but this spot actually has more depth in the broth and is closer to where we live. I believe they use pig's blood in the broth, which is the most authentic way that boat noodles are made. However, I like LB Thai's meats better. They're much more tender and easiest to eat. Both restaurants are great in many ways though. Thai Boat Noodles (5/5) - umami-rich broth Egg Noodle Wonton Soup (5/5) - light broth and silky wontons Khao Soi (5/5) - enjoyed all the toppings Rad Nar (5/5) - love how saucy it is with all the gravy Papaya Salad (5/5) - refreshing Mango Sticky Rice (5/5) - they give a generous amount My go-to orders will always be in the Khao Soi and Thai Boat Noodles. But everything we ordered was definitely enjoyable! Service was fast and friendly. There's indoor and indoor patio seating. There's free parking available on the street, but it can be packed on busier days. read more
