Every time I've been to Thai town, I gotta stop by here for breakfast or lunch and never forget to grab sth for my friends. But today I'd been there around 12 sth. A lot of customers there but not really busy. I ordered just one simply dish, Krapow with crispy pork over rice with fried egg. It took around almost half an hour for my order, unbelievable! Furthermore, the crispy pork turned out sticky pork. I barely had it not even half. I decided to quit and asked for the bill. The server took me the bill without asking me for sth wrong..... i generally scoff at suggestions to dine out for thai food because, no one, and i mean no one, can beat my mother's made-with-love thai food. however, this place comes close. in fact, next time she's in town, i'm going to take her here, which is the greatest endorsement i could give. i'm my mother's daughter and we are both VERY picky, especially when it comes to our food. whenever i go here, we order a 3 dish:1 person ratio of dishes because i'm all about variety, it's cheap enough to do it and i like the hominess of family style sharing. this 1 star would all dedicated to the poor service. it was our first time, everything went okay until when it comes to pay the bill. the food cost around $44 (yes we ate a lot) and we paid 50. It's my go-to and I don't generally deviate from it. I get it with white meat, no skin - no extra charge. There's plenty of other fantastic dishes like the stewed pork, but the Thai Hainan chicken is enough to make me happy when I leave. No sharing. They only make so much of it a day, so come early. Open at 6am. No excuses. Okay, I might also have a Chinese donut or 12. Dip it right into the condensed milk. The food was pretty good but the service was the worst. When I came to the restaurant, one of the servers told me to sit wherever I want. I was waiting for 10 mins without anyone giving me the menu. Then, i hav to go ask them for the menu by myself. Not only that, i asked a server for to-go boxes and she's seem to be upset and ignored me. Then again, I hav to go to the cashier for it. The food here is good and most of the foods are traditional Thai breakfasts, that's why they open very early. I normally get the Thai porridge and the ginger soup with tofu. The prices are reasonable. The services are very depend on servers mood. They don't give plastic utensils for Togo, so make sure you have to ask them, if you needed. read more

Ahhh I think I have a new favorite Thai restaurant. Walking in, I had a feeling that the food they serve was going to be great judging by the 100% Thai clientele and the whiteboard menu written purely in Thai (with no English). Sure enough I was right. I ordered the pork noodle soup (forgot the Thai name for it) which is probably not for everybody as it is full of pork innards like liver, kidney and even pork blood. If you have a thing against innards then skip this item and order something tame like a Pad See Ew. I for one loved this soup. We also ordered the fried mussels off the $3.95 menu and it was delicious. I'm excited to try more items off the $3.95 menu next time I come here.
