I wish I could put into words how amazing my experience at Cuban Hut was today, but I will just say, I had the best plate of oxtails and rice/beans I've ever had in my whole life today! The service is amazing, the owners are hilarious and have so much pride in the food they serve, and their confidence is much deserved because the food is phenomenal. Food and service amazing. Don't be fooled by the outside look of a hole in the wall place. Food is outstanding. Tried all based on recommendations from staff: Empanadas- chicken, beef and ropa Vieja. Delicious and Ropa Vieja favorite. Pork chicharron - totally go back again and again for this. We had to take 1lb to go as a raid snack. Chicken - similar to Milanesa don't recall menu name. Honestly the best authentic cuban food I've had at any cuban restaurant before. Other places were great but the food at the Cuban Hut really stood out. You can definitely taste the flavors and seasonings that Authentic cubans cook with! Really brought me back to my childhood of My Late Abuelitas cooking! Amazing food and great service from the owner of the restaurant. He was right behind the register taking orders, greeting customers and giving us recommendations. He definitely stands by his food. Every was delicious, we ordered the oxtails, pork chicharron, beef empanadas. Just like he said it is so flavorful, oxtails were tender meat falling off the bone, chicharron was crunchy & crispy. Ambiance overly welcoming due to him engaging with his customers. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend this restaurant to all you Cuban food fanatic! Visited here for the first time yesterday. Not too local, I'm from San Diego so this was a Yelp find for me while I was in the area. I wish I would have gotten pictures of the inside but I love the decor and setup they have. It's on the smaller side but it's definitely authentic. The customer service was great! Workers are friendly and patient. The Cuban sandwich is delicious! If I was too be more "nit-picky", I wish it had more of an acidity to it, and the potato chips some were very salty and some were on point. Came here on a recommendation and boy am I glad I did. Family owned business, the owners sons were such personable young men. They were very polite, gave us a little taster of their black beans before we even ordered the food!!! Love my Cuban people. The food is delicious. It tastes just like home. My companion ordered the rabo encendido, Cuban ox tail, which is not the easiest dish to make. But this was hella good. I ordered the chicken milanesa which was served with black beans, rice and sweet plantains. Delicious. The setting is very casual, take out or you can sit and eat there. Also, they serve the food in styrofoam containers so if you don't eat it all, which you probably won't, you can take it home. Definitely try it out. You won't be disappointed read more

Loved this place! The moment you walk in it smells like my Cuban Mother-inlaw's kitchen, yum!!!! This Always matters to me! When I walk in a restaurant I want to smell something delicious cooking, and I did! I ordered pork chunks, masitas de Puerto. Perfection! Tender, big chunks packed with flavor! Plenty of steamed white rice served with the perfect amount of flavorful black beans, sweet plantain bananas. The croquetas were crisp on the outside with plenty of flavor on the inside. The ropa vieja, shredded beef in an amazing tomato base with spices, is delectable! The potato balls, papa rellena is also perfectly crisp on the outside, tasty potato and flavorful beef on the inside, worthy! My family and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch experience thanks to the owner, José, who was kind enough to stop by our table a few times to chat. We ordered a Cubano King Deluxe (it was stacked with meat and my dad loved it), the Ropa Vieja, and the classic Cubano. Portions are generous and it seems impossible that you will leave hungry! Each sandwich comes with homemade-style kettle chips that are exceptionally crispy and thinly-sliced--the perfect salty complement for the hearty sandwiches. My initial reaction to the first bite of my classic Cubano was ". . . oh my god" because the pork was so juicy and flavorful. Then you drizzle on the spicy orange mojo sauce and it steps up another level. It's just THAT good. We also tried the different empanadas (thank you, José!) and each had a flaky crust that hid a juicy interior. The beef empanada is amazing! We finished with the Sopa de Pollo (hearty and loaded with vegetables, corn, noodles, and chicken) and a rich, delicious Cuban coffee. But of course we had to have desert, and the pastelitos were to die for! Bigger than the palm of my hand and filled with hot guava jam and cream cheese . . . I was so full and yet no trouble finishing one myself. WORTH IT! Next time we'll come back to try the oxtail and famous chicharron. Thanks to José for creating such a gem in Temecula! read more

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile and engaging conversation! First off they are open Sunday. Place is super clean and friendly. They gave my son a lollipop as soon as we walked in. Great atmosphere, nice easy music to listen to while you eat ( not all in your face like some authentic places try to. We tried a good variety of the menu. 5 different items and it was $40ish not bad at all. Portions were great and food was made super fast. The best for me was the Lechon sandwich. This is a little spot that's not really busy. Each time I've come for lunch there's only been a few people eating here. I've tried a few different things from here and it's all been just ok. I haven't stumbled upon anything noteworthy unfortunately. On my last visit here I decided to stop coming. I had their chicken soup and it was only slightly warm, almost cold. They were great in going over all the options for our catering order. We had a large order for our party and everything turned out great. My Cuban family was very impressed with the authenticity of the food. Everything was delicious and nicely packaged for us to put into chafing dishes. This one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant, the Food was horrible and the service was rude. When I told them that was not happy with the order they became very angry and aggressive. I'm a senior citizen and have never experienced anything like that in my life.
