The cutest darn cafe that gives you that hometown diner feel but with a cool breeze because you're only a couple blocks from the beach. The food is good, and the service is great. Coffee stayed full and hot. I ordered the veggie omelet but forgot to take a picture but the presentation was great. This is my 2nd visit and whenever I'm in the area it's my new go-to.

Oof always drove by this cafe and it looks so cute and SMALL! Definitely looked like a vibe and brunch always makes me happy no matter what mood i'm in. Once we arrived we got sat outside and had our fur pup on our lap while dining. They are a dog friendly cafe! I don't exactly remember what I got, it was either an omelet or the special spud ( I think it was the special spud) which was pretty good but I was super scared I was going to get a stomach ache. The potatoes and food was very very greasy. The plate was covered in grease, I feel like they could've at least wiped some of it up but it felt like a puddle in my meal. We overall thought the cafe was average and we never have talked about it ever since :/. Looking at other reviews, they also said their potatoes were drenched in oil.

First time come here for lunch with my Lovely. I've driven past this shop for many years on my way to the beach, yet I had never really noticed it before. Today--Easter Sunday--while driving back from the coast, we found that most restaurants were either closed or opening late. When we spotted this place as we drove by, we turned around and stopped in for lunch. The shop is small and simple, yet bright and clean; with all the doors open, the natural light and fresh air from the sea create a wonderfully airy atmosphere. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the very friendly staff, and the menu offered a wide variety of choices. The food was served quickly. What I particularly liked was how little grease there was on the dishes at this establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed my meal . Thanks to the attentive care of the highly responsible staff. Will definitely return in the future to try other items on the menu.

This cafe is small but mighty. What it lacks in size is more than made up for by service and quality of the food. We found a table inside right away on a busy Saturday morning, and we were attended to promptly even though business was already booming. After we ordered our food, we didn't have to wait long for them to arrive either. The menu might not have exotic and sophisticated selection, but the food was prepared with skill and care. I ordered the Florentine, and I loved every bite. Mine didn't come with the famous hash brown, so I sampled some from my wife's plate. It was indeed delicious and crispy, but not overdone. Parking was interesting in this tiny shopping center, and it fills up quickly. Grab a spot if you're lucky.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this place honestly disappointed me. I'm embarrassed I even chose to wait and eat here before going somewhere better. I'll start with the one positive: the blueberry muffin was really good. Now the negatives. We ordered the tomato soup and it was extremely salty like overwhelming. We had to send it back. After that, I ordered a burrito with potatoes, and the portion of potatoes was really small (I even took a picture because it was that bad). It honestly made me frustrated. The burrito itself was just okay, nothing special. We also ordered a salad and it honestly sucked barely any dressing and not mixed properly. On top of that, our waitress had a dirty shirt with noticeable stains, which made the whole experience feel even less clean. To make things worse, they still tried to charge us for the soup even though we returned it, which felt really sneaky and unprofessional. The service was just okay at best they never offered refills for coffee or water. Overall, not a good experience.

Stopped by for a late breakfast and had a solid experience overall. We ordered the Corned Beef Hash N' Eggs, ABC Omelet, The Club, Biggie Small Burger, and a Michelada. The corned beef hash, ABC omelet, and the Biggie Small Burger were the standouts for me -- straightforward, good flavor, and portioned well. The place has a laid-back neighborhood feel. Staff was friendly without being over the top, and food came out at a good pace even though it was pretty busy. Seating is tight since the café is on the smaller side, but it works for what it is. If you're around the area and want an easy breakfast or lunch without anything too fussy, this is a solid option. I'd go back for those few dishes alone.

We accidentally stumbled upon the small cafe because they had outdoor seating so we could bring our dogs. What a happy surprise! The staff were all so nice and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Fluffiest pancakes ever! The corn beef hash was sooo good. So happy to have found this cozy little local spot!

We had reservations for 8:00 p.m. When we checked in, the hostess told us that the party at our table had until 8:30 p.m. to finish. This was never communicated to us beforehand which they said was noted they did, the hostesses were very nonchalant about the situation instead of offering a better solution. They eventually seated us, but it was all the way in the back of the restaurant where we had to ask for the candles and fire place to be lit Because of that, it took a while for our server to get to us, and our drinks took longer than expected to arrive. That said, our waitress was absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive, and the highlight of our visit. She provided excellent service despite the circumstances and definitely deserves five stars. As we were getting seated, the hostess asked if we had been informed that they were having issues with their roof and that their barbecue was out of service. We had not been told anything about this prior to arriving. As a result, the menu was extremely limited, with no steaks or burgers available. This was especially frustrating because those were the main reasons our group chose this restaurant. Had we been notified ahead of time, we would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether we still wanted to dine there or make reservations elsewhere. To make matters even more disappointing, we were there celebrating my birthday. It seemed like the restaurant either forgot or there was a miscommunication, because the birthday dessert wasn't brought out until after we had already received the bill. It made the celebration feel like an afterthought, which was disappointing on what was supposed to be a special occasion. Overall, the service from our waitress was outstanding, but the lack of communication and poor handling of the situation by the host staff really impacted our experience. The fancy pizza was average (3 stars), chicken piccata was great (5 stars), while the appetizers were good (4 stars) and the wines by the glass were very overpriced coming from someone in the wine business. Unfortunately, the disappointing start, limited menu, and overlooked birthday celebration made this visit fall far short of our expectations.

I usually have the chicken piccata but decided to try this dish today. We also decided on butter cake for a sweet treat after our meal. Our waiter mentioned a lemon cake so of course we had to try that as well. The lemon cake was HUGE! And incredibly delicious. I am not sure if it is a regular menu item but if they mention it while you're there, it is so worth the try! The restaurant can get a little noisy inside but it's manageable. Food was good, I had the miso glazed mahi-mahi, I would prefer a side of salad instead of 2 cups of mashed potato, sauce was a little on the sweet side for my taste. My husband had the Scottish salmon, and he cleaned his plate, the sweet potato hash w/ pancetta was yummy.. it enhanced the taste of the salmon. My sister in-law had the pan seared scallops, I also think that the side should be optional instead of rice and there was only a few pieces of the scallops. My brother his friend had the Wasabi crusted filet mignon, which they've enjoyed but also should have options for the sides, not everyone like mashed potato, the mushrooms was a bit salty, maybe better with shitake & asparagus. We have the calamari and warm fried brie which were delicious :) Maybe they can add the fried tofu as an appetizer instead of brussels, just a suggestion. I've had the Tahitian Sunset which was too sweet for my taste but you can taste the flavor of the passion fruit , the strawberry fields was better, maybe next time I will try the cucumber crush... I will highly recommend this place, you will definite enjoy yourself with a singer/band performing while you enjoy the food.

Unfortunately, every time we've been served by her, the experience has been consistently disappointing. She comes across as dismissive and unfriendly toward us, while we often see her being much more welcoming to other tables. After multiple visits, it's become a noticeable pattern. On our most recent visit, we arrived about five minutes before happy hour started. A more attentive server would have simply mentioned that happy hour was about to begin so we could decide whether to wait a few minutes before ordering. Instead, nothing was said. Our food and drinks didn't even arrive until after happy hour had started, so we politely asked if the happy hour pricing could be honored. Bella immediately said no and didn't offer to check with a manager or see if there was anything she could do. It's not even about the discount--it's about the lack of customer service and willingness to help. Every other server we've had here has been friendly, accommodating, and made us want to come back. Bella consistently provides the opposite experience. We genuinely love this restaurant, but whenever Bella is our server, it makes us question whether we want to stay or come back. Which made sense considering how well he knew how the drinks were made. He was attentive and checked on us often to make sure everything was going well. One thing that made him stand out was, he actually conversed with us rather than just asking if we needed anything and then leaving. The Old Fashioned was one of the smoothest and best I've probably ever had. My nephew ordered the Ube Painkiller after Nate described how it was made. I had a sip, and the ube flavor really came through without overpowering the drink and it was perfectly matched with the dark rum, which Nate said came from the Caribbean. The Brussels sprouts had a nice mix of tender and crispy pieces that gave additional texture. The calamari was tender and the pesto style sauce paired real good with it. The Thai curry sea bass was flavorful, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. The cioppino had a rich shellfish flavor in the broth and I appreciated that the tomato base didn't have such an acidic taste.
