I believe they can split the bill between 2ppl. I went ahead and paid for the whole party while going to use the restroom to freshen up. I didn't want to deal with split the bill and had everyone Venmo me.

Hoping to make a reservation for a larger party but having a hard time on getting respond by emailing/calling / dm on Instagram. Any other method of communication?

The outdoor seating right by the sidewalk, just a few small tables is perfect for a leisurely morning. They're open early morning until about 3 p.m., so it's a great place for a late breakfast or lunch. Just be aware that the parking is in a large lot shared with beach parking, so you'll need to pay for it. As soon as you order, they get to work. my burrito was ready in just a few minutes. Everything was fresh, and I loved that I could customize my taco or burrito just the way I wanted. The prices were very reasonable, too. The food quality was good although not outstanding, but definitely solid. Inside, it's a bit hit or miss. the air can feel a little stuffy, and it's not the cleanest, but it's fine for a casual visit. One letdown: they don't have fresh agua fresca, and the coffee is just self-serve, sitting there for who knows how long. Still, I really enjoyed it overall especially the sweet lady at the counter, who was so kind. I love supporting this hardworking local business.

Wait staff so kind and friendly, a fun room, and we're sitting right at the pier with the ocean thirty feet out and junior volleyball tournaments going on the sand all morning. Even ended up chatting with folks walking their dogs down the Strand -- that's the kind of morning it was. Great food, great people, unbeatable spot. Perfection.

The moment I closed the menu, a server was right there ready to take our order. It was really busy when we visited, so we expected a wait for our food, but no, 10 minutes later our omelette and eggs Benedict arrived. A few minutes after that, the owner stopped by to chat, and we learned how they were able to open the restaurant so quickly. (Turns out it wasn't quick at all, they'd been looking for a location for quite some time.) We were so impressed that we went back two days later for a late afternoon sandwich. The Village was already thriving, but with Martha's here, it just keeps getting better.

The food came out pretty quickly (that tends to happen with sandwiches and salads) and it was a perfectly fine panini. Even though the food was good, it didn't have any qualities that stood out, but it was solid and that's really all I can think of saying. Overall, Cafe Bonaparte is a solid little spot for sandwiches and salads. The service here was solid, the place itself has a nice environment, and it's location right next to the beach will have be back in the area many times, and maybe, just maybe, I'll have to check out the large baked good selection in the front.

The performance was in the larger room. The comics really connected with the audience because they had a bit more time to share their various experiences. The meal was delightful as it always has been.The service excellent. We met MIKE one of the founders of the club in the parking lot earlier in the evening, I had forgotten my tickets at home and couldn't find them on my phone. MIKE made sure that the front receptionist would accommodate us. It was wonderful. At the conclusion of the evening as we were driving home, my phone rang. It was the comedy club calling to let us know that one in my party had left her sweater on the chair. Did we want to come back to get it? We told them to just give it to someone who needed it because we were about to get on the freeway at that point. What a wonderful surprise that they took the care and initiative to figure out who was sitting at that table and to reach out to us, that's service ! I recommend this comedy club wholeheartedly. You'll have a great time and a great meal at an affordable rate. It's one of the best things going on the coast. Enjoy! Laugh!! Have fun. And do take the time to examine the wonderful collection of Hollywood memorabilia and comics' costumes that are on display. It's a special little museum its own right.

But this one, I get so sad when we get to the last chapter of the meal. Chef Jino leaves me wanting more. Literally, this man knows how to make fusion sushi without bastardizing the nature of sushi. I don't know how to explain it. You just gotta try it for yourself. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. 10000%. They have unagi or eel as the last course, and it's better than what I've had in Korea. They also serve Sawara where they smoked it in a special wood(not going to specify so you can be surprised, trust me it's amazing), and if I was blind testing, I would have thought it was a piece of bbq meat. For dessert, they served this banana ice cream with forbidden rice pudding and ube mochi and it was the perfect refreshment after the delicious meal. We always get the bottle of Sancerre, but the sake or wine pairings seem interesting too. TLDR; if you're in South Bay and you love sushi, do omakase here. You'll love it, I guarantee it

My experience at Vista Hermosa was extremely disappointing due to the terrible service. We were seated promptly, but no server came to our table for nearly 15 minutes. We had to ask for our server three separate times before anyone finally came to take our order. Even after ordering, our food and drinks were delayed, and we had to remind the staff about almost everything two or three times. What made the experience even more frustrating was that we were sharing a table with another group of girls. They received immediate attention, and the server checked on them repeatedly throughout the meal. Despite sitting at the very same table, we were barely acknowledged. Not once did the staff check if we needed anything or ask how our meal was. When we politely asked if there was any issue with serving us, the staff responded with arrogance and didn't even offer a simple apology. The complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and accountability made us feel unwelcome. This was by far one of the worst restaurant service experiences I've had. I would not recommend Vista Hermosa to anyone. read more

When I'm up for a beach getaway for lunch, I always head straight to Vista Restaurant. The view of the beach and sand is seriously stunning - like postcard material. Shoutout to Danny, our server, who's just awesome. The food is next-level creative, like something you'd find at a fancy Michelin-star place. The whole vibe there is just really cool, with background music setting the mood. And they've got outdoor seating with those canopy things and umbrellas, so you're all set for a chill time in the shade. And let's talk drinks - their menu is packed with great choices. So if you're into people-watching, you're in luck. There's a parade of gorgeous women in bikinis strolling by and even some beach volleyball action to check out. We had a disappointing experience at Vista in Hermosa Beach, largely due to how we were treated at the front. Our hostess, Bri, refused to seat us at a covered outdoor table, repeatedly insisting there was a waiting list. We asked multiple times, but she was dismissive and not accommodating at all. What made it worse is that during our meal, there were at least four covered tables sitting empty. It felt like we were being brushed off rather than actually helped, which really set a negative tone for the entire experience. I said if so, would it be possible to get some arugula or spinach instead of the English muffin. She said she didn't think so, and went to check with the chef. No one came back to check on us. We had to flag her down. 4) The bathroom was dirty and disgusting. It was shocking, but the trash was overflowing and partially on the floor, the sink was clogged and had yellowish water pooled there, the floor was wet probably from people trying to wash their hands.. There's no excuse for this kind of negligence. 5) That all being said the food was okay. The salad wasn't bad... it just wasn't what I wanted. I was at a party so I couldn't up and leave. I really wanted the Eggs Benedict since all the ingredients other than the English muffin were safe for me to have. My coffee was just okay, and really strong. I was charged for an "Americano" but I just had an iced coffee, so not sure about why they billed it as something else. I will NOT be back. I was uncomfortable, and unhappy being there. It was overpriced for the (limited) menu options, the (poor) service, the (hot and loud) ambience and the (lack of) cleanliness.

After several repetitions, it felt less like a technical decision and more like a statement. If the owner doesn't want to host soccer fans, that's completely their prerogative. But putting a World Cup match on the TVs while intentionally suppressing the experience people came to enjoy is a strange middle ground that manages to satisfy nobody. The result was a room full of people watching one of the biggest sporting events in the world while being reminded every few minutes that the bar would rather they weren't.
