It's really hard to grade a Chinese fast food. What criteria do you use? For sure, these restaurants can't ever get a five star. Four stars? Maybe. To be fair, you have to compare it to other fast food Chinese take out places. You can't compare it to other sit down Chinese restaurants. So, here's my fake. Service. Like any other take out place. Pick your two items and you're done. Food. This is the most important part. I typically look at their fried rice and chow mien. Does it look too yellow? Is the rice too dry? I can't describe it, but the chow mien and fried rice didn't look appetizing. It didn't taste good either. The mixed veggies were soft and over cooked, even by other fast food standards. I would have given it a two stars, but their BBQ pork is surprisingly good. If I come back, I may just order the BBQ without any rice or noodles. But for Thinsulin fans, the BBQ pork is marinated with a sweet sauce that will spike insulin. read more

Saw this on tik tok gave it a shot. Food was mid honestly. They over hyped it so much. The jalapeño chicken taste like curry in my opinion. They had no steamed rice when I went. Lunch special comes with a super small drink , egg roll, either chow Mein or rice and you pick one item of your choice. Yes they pack it good enough to share for 2 people. But I will say one thing my sister got orange chicken and I tried it and it was so goooood that I will say. Service was alright hard to hear some of the people since it's loud in there. Place is small only like 4 small tables available to sit. No public restrooms. And you are only allowed to get 1 refill. Egg roll was okay. Basically 2 meals in one plate. One for lunch and one for dinner. My go to is the two item combo. Only $8 for a feast that can feed a family of hungry humans. I get the house special chicken and the spicy chicken to complement the sauce of the former. The red chili sauce goes well with the spicy chicken so make sure you get that as well. I always get half chow mein and half fried rice. I'm usually a man who likes to experiment on new items but there are always my go to when I come here. I come to this place many times however, I always get the 2 items combo which is reasonable for ~$9. Today I got bbq pork separately and got charged ~$10 for a small Togo box. I came home to weight the dang thing and it's only 1.1 lb. That's outrageously expensive for BBQ pork. I'm not sure if this is the right price or the man (I assume he's the owner) charged me an arm and a leg for bbq pork. I'm sure I can get the same amount of pork with 2 items combo with $9 than this small box for $10. So my suggestion is to always go for the combo and never by separate item. read more

Nice was very nice staff, however very pricey compared to most other fast food Chinese restaurants. I was charged $12.50 for a 3 item combo. The woman who served us gave much smaller portions than the other lady serving. Garlic beef came with only 5 small pieces of beef, which is the only part of it that my sons eats. Due to the lack of beef, it is not really worth the money, although the flavor was good. BBQ pork lacked flavor compared to other places that I have tried and many pieces were very fatty. I ate here a few years ago and must not have thought it was good then, as I didn't return and would have had I liked it. I enjoy this place. I really hate eating at panda, hole in the wall chinese places are always better. It's usually cheaper and the portions are always so generous. The employees here are nice, i haven't had a bad experience here. (Theres another Hong Kong Express down the street too, but they're pretty rude) I always get half rice half chow mein and my two sides. It never fails to satisfy my cravings. I always get a side of cream cheese wontons too, which are absolutely delicious! One order can last me for two, maybe three meals. The ladies that serve you are still nice, but food isn't as good anymore. And especially don't try to save it for the next day...it's so horrible. Everytime I come in, the workers encourage me to sample the items before committing to something. And once you decide, they don't shy away from filling your togo box full to the brim. I was a little early for my nail appointment and since this place was right next door and I hadn't eat lunch yet, I decided to grab a bite to eat here. I have to say it was the worse mistake I made. I ordered a 2 item combo and an order of fried wontons. Total price $8.42. I gave the cashier $20.42 and told her to keep the food I ordered in the front while I use the ladies room. When I came out..I decided to order a drink and that's when I remembered I didn't get my change from earlier. I confronted the cashier and told her what happened. She than argued with me and said she had given me the change. That's a load of bull crap...I know for a fact I didn't receive my change and I can tell by her face she was lying. I made a huge ruckus but it's her word against mine and the owner wouldn't budge. Though I know I was partially to blame for what happened, I was so pissed off. You think people would be more honest. I just hate greedy people. Oh well, she will just have to live with the fact that she ripped someone off. Ugh...it's a lesson learned for me, DON't forget to get your change.
