    Interior art very cool.
    Jeannie M.

First time here. The service was quick, and the people were friendly. The interior was quirky and fun. The fries were very tasty and well seasoned. However, I didn't like the lobster itself. It tasted kind of fishy and I only ate a little bit of it. I got it plain so that I could really taste the lobster without all the other "noise". Might go back to try the lobster bisque, but o won't get another lobster roll. $30 for the combo with fries and a drink.

I always pass by and decided to try lobster guys! I ended up going with the shrimp pasta! Excellent and the shrimp and huge and well-seasoned. the pasta and sauce were nice and creamy. A bit pricy at $22 bucks. Service was good. They have a lot of tables inside. It's a cool little spot to eat! They have everything from shrimp, lobster rolls, fish, clam chowder to crab cakes, lobster mac, chicken wings and many more goodies here! I believe anything that comes out of this place is amazing. Food rating: Shrimp pasta 9.0\10

Ooooh a lobster guys?! I typically wouldn't gravitate towards a place like this but being with my bestie she said she wanted to try it. They have an extensive menu, lots of great choices here. You feel like ordering 4 items at a time honestly. They have a touch screen to order from or the cashier. There's plenty of places with the menu including photos to give you the best idea of what you would like to order. I don't know about you, but I need photos to be able to order sometimes, so I love the huge photos inside! I ended up offering buffalo wings (ironic, it's a seafood place) & shrimp tacos. Buffalo wings were okay, definitely not life changing. But again it's a seafood place... so stick to their seafood lol. The shrimp tacos came in a trio, I chose corn tortillas. Yum yum in my tum tum! They give a wedge of lemon & a side cup of salsa. It's amazing. I think the side salsa has a perfect kick and flavor to it, it was a great first date between the shrimp and the salsa. The shrimps were packed with flavor, nice bite, not overcooked because shrimps can be sooooo delicate and overcook fast but this place made it perfectly. The tortillas were soft and did not break easy-- my pet peeve is corn tortillas falling apart, but these were perfect! Overall the ambiance and service is super nice. It's clean inside. I want to say it was the owners that were there but they're super friendly! They gave me a sample of their parfait which was good as well but I wasn't feeling parfait to order it at the moment. Plenty of plaza parking, single use restroom in the back. Good amount of seating.

This is a casual place to get lobster rolls. They have an extensive menu and you order off the counter. The staff is nice and they got our order out fairly quickly. We got maine style lobster rolls and a side of tots. Maine Style Lobster Roll- Served on a buttery warm bun. The lobster pieces are fresh and juicy and the aioli it's tossed in has a nice mild flavor. Very tasty! Tots- Crisp on the outside and a nice contrast of soft inside. It's the perfect complement to the lobster roll. Makes for a filling meal. Great experience overall!

Amazing!! The warm Lobster roll is the way to go! We also ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Lobster Bisque and Clam chowder. Yummmmm!! We will be back again when we are in this area. The Staff was nice and helpful. She was great in answering our questions, and very friendly. Can wait to share it and tell our friends. Thank you for a delicious meal.

I stumbled upon this spot while on the hunt for a solid clam chowder and was surprised I hadn't come across this chain before. To hedge my expectations, I also ordered Chowder Barge to go from the place I tried the other day which i'm in awe of and highly recommend, well, at least since I was in the area. This place is located in a shopping center, parking was effortless, which is always a plus. The service immediately stood out. The cashier was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging, setting a positive tone before ordering. I asked for recommendations and went with the warm lobster roll, sweet potato fries, clam chowder, and shrimp pasta, all ordered to-go. The turnaround time was reasonable, and the steady flow of customers suggested a dependable local favorite. The concept leans toward fast-casual seafood, but the quality edges just beyond what you'd expect from that category. The sweet potato fries were a standout crispy, well-seasoned, and satisfying. The clam chowder delivered on comfort and flavor. The warm lobster roll was respectable, though not particularly memorable. The shrimp pasta, however, fell short; it lacked depth and needed more sauce to bring the dish together. I have to say I really enjoyed the calamari fries, exceptional. I didn't take many pictures because it was to go, i did take two of the two main. Overall, it's a reliable option for a quick seafood fix without sacrificing too much quality. I'd return, if i'm in the mood for some quick seafood to go.

When the lobster craving hits, head over to Lobster Guys in Long Beach. Look at that butter drip... Let's start with the classic Connecticut-style lobster roll -- warm, buttery lobster piled high on a toasted split-top bun. every bite is rich, sweet, and perfectly simple, letting the lobster shine. Then there's the Cali Truffle Roll -- loaded with lobster, creamy avocado, and a drizzle of fragrant truffle oil that takes it to another level. And don't skip the crab cake burger -- golden, crispy on the outside, tender and packed with crab on the inside. Perfectly grilled salmon served with a side of golden crispy fries. If you're craving comfort, the shrimp pasta is buttery, garlicky, and seriously satisfying. And of course... you have to finish with a bowl of their clam chowder. If you love lobster, consider this your sign to make the trip. Wonderful customer service from Martin and Victor!! Plenty of parking.

Food was decent - nothing spectacular. Service was mehhh - nothing to rave about. Ambiance when mehhh - just another place to grab a quick bite. Personally, I'd skip this place and opt for something much tastier.

Great hidden gem tucked away in Long Beach. Found this great place off of yelp and it will be a definite for us every time we come this way. 10/10 for everything! Service was exceptional! Food was AMAZING! Restaurant was very clean. Now for the food!!! My mouth is watering thinking about it. The flaming hot lobster fries melts in your mouth. The seasoned fries are not salty, the cheese is like nacho cheese, the lobster chunks are huge and then there's a small kick from the jalapeño. We ordered 2! That's how good it was! The Cali style truffle roll has chilled lobster with celery toppings. Husband said Clobster roll (crab & lobster mix) was better than his Maine lobster roll. All rolls came with a side of salad. We left very satisfied and lobster craving fulfilled!!!

    Kristen S.

We door dashed from here today and it was soooooo good! I have tried lobster rolls at many places and loved seeing the variety on the menu so I tried the Cali truffle roll to mix it up and it was amazing. If I lived in the area I would come here all the time. Next time I am I will try a few other things from the menu as well. The extra lobster is worth the $. I'm also not a tater tot person but they were fried to perfection. Put one of these in the inland empire

    Mmmm!!! Great options!

This is so cool! I remember seeing them as a food truck! Now there's an actual spot to come to! Instead of chasing them down the freeway! lol! Jk! (I did see them driving down the freeway and wanted to get some!) Anyway, my sister ordered us lobster rolls! I've been getting some promo messages on social media because I follow them. So I had to come and check it out. The lobster rolls were so yummy! I'm used to just butter and lobster but this was filling. And the truffle one? Wow! And look at the menu and all the stuff they offer! Gotta try them all! Thank you for the nice lady who gave my son a Christmas present! You guys are too sweet!

I was really excited to check out this spot and came in with high hopes for a good lobster roll. They have an order at the counter with the cashier while you wait for your food. The store was empty when I went, so I asked the cashier for recommendations. Asking her questions and recommendations was SO painful. She definitely did not want to be there talking to me. I asked her about a combo and she said there was one that wasn't on the menu for a soup, lobster roll, fries/salad and a drink for 32 dollars. I decided on that one. I got the clam chowder. It was pretty good! I liked they gave oyster crackers with it. Ok so the Connecticut lobster roll - the lobster did not taste good to me. It was overcooked and rubbery - I wonder if that the risk of getting the warm lobster roll. I was so sad by the lobster itself. The bread it came on was yummy and well toasted. I'm not sure I will come back but maybe the cold lobster roll is better? There are 6-8 tables for sitting in. The place was packed by the time I left.

It's just OK On the fence regarding freshness ?!?! The pictures are far more glamorous than what you get. Kind sweet girl working that's a plus. Bad location to me that area who's paying the price for lobster rolls ??? Was expecting better quality would I drive 25 30 min not again would I drove 10 min to try again NO. One and done was enough for me. Wanted to love the lobster guys. But something I just can't put my finger on I think basically freshness of the lobster roll itself ,,, better out there.

Parking is a bit of a game of chance thanks to the tiny lot, so plan accordingly. Once you're inside though, the restaurant is super clean, modern, and the service is fast and attentive. We started with the papaya salad. It was just okay--I'm still trying to figure out why there was a blanket of romaine lettuce casually lounging on top. I ordered medium spice, which turned out to be "medium if you breathe fire for fun." The papaya was also a little more raw than I personally like. The tom kha soup was decent, but the real MVP was the drunken noodles with beef. Those noodles were absolutely swimming in savory goodness and perfectly soft. I would've happily ordered a second plate and called it "dessert." Overall, I'd definitely come back--mostly because those drunken noodles are already living rent-free in my head.

My family and I were heading to the Aquarium of the Pacific and wanted to find a good dinner spot…read morenearby afterward. I came across this place on TikTok because of their famous Thai tea popsicle, so naturally I had high hopes. First off, we got incredibly lucky with parking. I can definitely see how parking could be a nightmare since the lot is tiny, so consider finding a spot part of the dining experience. When we arrived, the inside was cute and seemed clean. We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. Bread bowls were $16 (we ordered 2) And the plates were less than $25 each. Plenty of seating around.

Went on Sunday for a quick brunch. Ordered grilled halibut plate, wife ordered fish and scallops, topped it off with a clam chowder and two sodas. Total came out to be around 65$. Fish was just grilled with a ton of oil on the same griddle as everything else, seasoning consists of old bay and that is it. Bland, old bay seasoning. Fish and chip was bland, no flavor. Clam chowder had minimal clams and mainly thick soup base. So unless you think those YouTubers are coming there to say nice things, edit the video, and then post it so they can make content money. Don't waste your time and money.

We came to try the LBFS Week Menu, three courses. It was definitely one of the more enticing menus from the list but after seeing the segment on Today LA with Brian Addison, we had to go. Watching the chef make and describe the Salmon Crudo appetizer, it was a must try. Fortunately it's a regular on their menu so if you miss LBFS Week (ends tomorrow), you can get it any time. Service was excellent. Our server was Luxa and checked on us often! We had a caraf of water on the table and that was perfect! They have a nice list of wines and beers and we it turned out it was still Happy Hour! Nice offering of bites and all beers were $2 off and wines were $3 off a glass or $10 off a bottle! My husband orders a Hef and I orderd a glass of white (Picpoul), great picks. For food, we ordered the LBFS Menu. We started with the Dalmon Crudo, amazing and we will be back to have it again. The taste with creme frauche and the texture with the Rye bread crumbs was just amazing!! Definitely the best salmon appetizer we have had to date! Nect came the Caesar Salad, excellent! We both ordered lobster roll. IYKYK the only way to serve a lobster roll is on a toasted East Coast style hot dog roll and they do it right here. One of the best Lobster rolls locally. Loaded wit lobster meat and served warm (as it should be, not cold with mayo), accompanied with warm butter, yes! It came with a lot of fries, and those were very good, can't believe we both finished eating them all! It was my birthday and Lyca brought out a huge piece of cake with a candle! Unexpected and what a nice treat. We were ao full but it was so darn good, we polished it off. Toffee Butter Cake with ice cream. Definitely a desert I would live to have again.

This was my first time to Liv's. I know. Shocking. I've heard good things about this place especially about the oysters, but I guess I just never made the move. Well let me tell you I'm going to keep coming back for those delicious and fresh raw oysters!! Don't look back! This place is so unassuming. Very chill, not too big, and fairly easy to get a table (at least when I visited on HH). Service was good too, no complaints - although closer to the end of the HH, it got a little slower since more people started coming. We ordered 2 dozens of oysters (10/10, will do again). It was $19 per half a dozen, for happy hour. I think on Mondays they have even cheaper price for the oysters, which I'll do next. We also ordered mini wedge (good), lobster rolls (pretty good, but the lobster was slightly dry IMO), crudo, chowder (good taste but it's runny. Wonder if it's their style of chowder or just that one time), fried calamari (good but nothing special), fried oyster caesar (good salad, maybe next time I don't get the fried oyster), hot fish sliders (good). Oh we also got the cocktails, and I really like the margarita. If you've never been to their happy hour, it's a great chance to try on their different dishes and find what you really like. For me, the raw oysters were great and I'm definitely coming back mainly for that!
