I placed a order over the phone the girl on the phone said 15-20 minutes . I arrived about 20-25 minutes, walked to the counter and observed the girl sitting down on her phone. I stood there standing for a couple minutes, just staring at her as she pretended not to recognize me standing there. When she looked up, she immediately got up and walked towards the phone. She got on the phone played on the phone a little bit more . Now it's about 5 minutes I'm at the counter . I'm there standing as patient as I can be just waiting looking at her. She proceeds to walk past the counter and into the kitchen without saying a word once she gets back out she walks over by the phone. And then she walks back into the kitchen, and then she walks out. She's carrying some food and calls up a gentleman that was sitting down and as this happens, I walk away a little bit to be quite honest to take a deep breath to avoid myself from getting angry. I walked back to the counter as she friended the gentleman, and she walked right back into the kitchen without again, saying anything to me I'm staring at her, trying to get eye contact. She comes out with more food and calls a second gentleman that was sitting down. Finally, I take a deep breath, and I walked out the establishment to get a breath of fresh air at this point I'm beginning to get angry. I walked back into the establishment. A gentleman walks out and tells me have a good day and I said likewise, and I walk to the counter and then finally she speaks to me and asked what my name was and I told her my name she walks into the kitchen again at this point this is already 15 to 20 minutes to have passed by. She walks back out and gets back on the phone, not saying anything to me. At this point, I asked her is my order ready and she said give me one minute, please. She walked into the kitchen again. Honestly, it took another five minutes. She finally walks back out again not saying anything to me and I simply said is my order ready she said one more minute, please so finally she walks back into the kitchen. She brings out my sandwich and that's all I had ordered a sandwich at this point. I'm now over 20 to 25 minutes waiting when I was originally told it would only take 20 minutes maximum so total it's 40 minutes after my phone call.. and at this point all I told her is that if my sandwich wasn't ready, all she had to do was tell me so I can either sit down or go ahead and leave and cancel my order since I was in a time crunch, she said to me with a sarcastic attitude you just gotta be more patient with me suck it up. I told her no way you need to do is to be more professional where is your manager? She said that her manager didn't show up till after 6 o'clock and I told her never mind go ahead and cancel my order and I go you don't have to be rude to the customers. She said no you just gotta suck it up more so I proceeded to call her a bitch and went my way. You really got to hire more mature people that are not 12 years old in my opinion. Petrillos must be really desperate for help if they're hiring 12 year-old immature little kids to be their customer service representative. Very poor service. read more

I've been going here since a child. My Italian grandma only trusted a few places-Claros and this place. She would drive two hours to pick up her favorite foods. So after reading these reviews and going for pick up twice recently I can totally see it. Service isn't the best unless you're a regular or celebrity. I've seen them treat old timers very well and yesterday saw them roll out the red carpet for a celebrity. Look. I've come to expect it. So my review is on the food only. It's still the best. They make great sauces. The pizza holds up to other places like Scardinos. I love their minestrone soup and I feel that they've done a great job with pricing considering how expensive quality ingredients. I also love their take on Italian classics like chicken parm. We ordered the Petrillo's specialty pizza and the toppings was a good portion! They definitely gave enough toppings on the pizza. The crust was a little bit on the hard/crunchy side so not a type of crust you can chew on. The mozzarella sticks got a bit cold since we did take out but if you pop them back into the air fryer or oven it's as good as new with the cheese pull. I ordered my pizza through door dash at 7am on September 10th. I asked for delivery between 5 - 5:30. They cancelled My order without calling me at 4:30. My guests were all arriving at 5 for the debate. I'm so frustrated I can't see straight. We placed a Grub Hub order well in advance of the big game. On the day of, I was shuffled back and forth twice between the indoor and outdoor tables before staff informed me that the restaurant canceled ALL Grub Hub orders on the same morning without notification to the customers (well, at least us).
