This time we started with the Shrimp cocktail - shrimp great - cocktail sauce very good. Had the wedge salad - chopped - great. had the New York - 14oz. VERY nice. Mushroom side - meaty and great flavor. Scalloped potatoes - very good - prefer this to baked potato. Discovered something new that was VERY nice. We asked about Mocktails - they have them!!! Very nice to start with. Blood Orange Bomb (BOB) and Cucumber something - Both very nice. Something more than just a Diet Coke to start. And after talking with the boss, he told us they have added a Red and White 0% ABV wine selection. We tasted both the Red and the White. Best 0% ABV Red we've had. Will do it with the next steak visit. White was good too. They are working on adding both to the normal menu and the wine list so others can discover at the beginning of their meal. For dessert, we had the EXCELLENT Butter Cake and the new Grapefruit Tart. Tart was new (maybe not on the dessert menu yet) but great flavors and something different - a scoop of vanilla and the frozen custard in the tart, great crunch stuff and pealed Grapefruit slices. I almost want to keep this place a secret, even if it's not just because it was that good. My partner and I went on our anniversary and got the prime porterhouse for two. Which I believe is a great deal and more than enough food for both of us as we had leftovers. The restaurant is beautiful with a great view of the Queen Mary and the service was great and attentive. The restaurant has dim lighting and the day we went they had some nice soft jazz, which I enjoyed very much. They also gave us free champagne due to our special celebration and everything came out quickly. The steak was cooked to perfection, one of the best porterhouse i've had in a while and the sides were up to par. The brussels sprouts with bacon were perfectly sweet and savory, and the loaded baked potato was buttery and huge. For dessert we got the crème brûlée cheesecake which was creamy and decadent. We shared a cesar salad minus the anchovies, my husband got a 28day aged bone-in ribeye, I ordered the chilean seabass, we also got the potatoes au gratin, and onion rings. All the items were well prepared, flavorful and delicious. I would highly recommend the chilean seabass and onion rings. Its definitely a perfect spot for a date night or dinner celebration. Additionally, the pianist provided an ambiance unmatched with his playing. I ordered several different dishes. The appetizer as the iced seafood tower that included raw oysters, crab legs, shrimp, and a tuna salad. Each piece of the tower was delicious and tasted fresh. Additionally, I ordered a filet, which is one of the best filets I've had in ages. It was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. And waiting for our table was horrible for one who made reservation and still waited 15min minutes while other people were walking in and somehow being seated. Not sure what I missed. That sucked which drops them down to 4 stars. What made up for it was the ambience, the food, my company, and our waitress. it also was a bit cold inside and am glad I leave a shawl in the car. My second review of last nights experience....We tried to get into the SKY ROOM all week since its the big celebration of my deceased dads birthday and he loved resturants with views.. My family comes into Long Beach from Boston and we celebrate.....after four calls and 2 alerts on open table they were just not interested.....SO i looked back at my reviews and took the Family this time vs a business meal here. Not only attentive they even moved all SIX of us after we recieved our drinks for a better view since my family are big on views and water. Food was beyond fire, silverware exchanged per course, waters filled to the brim, drink orders on point, seafood the freshest, and those desserts. Anyway if PAPS was here he would of loved it, my mom was blown away. Since my husband and i own two resturants now in the INLAND EMPIRE, we know how important tips are. We left an additional tip on top of what was included to show our deepest appreciation for such an important moment in our lifes. Get this ..... they even called to check to inform tip was included. They have a decent size parking lot with shops around for desserts and souvenirs. You have to enter parker's lighthouse. The top floor is where the Queensview steakhouse is, but they share the reception area. Service is amazing. They are very attentive. Even when it got busy during dinner time, servers are very attentive to the customers. Even the floor manager is there helping as well. We got the iced seafood tower. It's great as a start. Digging into the main course, we each got steaks. Even on its own, the steaks are flavorful. If you're unsure of what to order, the servers can recommend food based on which you're looking to try. They have musicians playing throughout the night, so it really sets the ambiance, especially if it's for a date. Restroom/wash area is by the second floor. I would recommend this restaurant for dates or business meetings but not for family gatherings. Space is limited so reservation is recommended. read more

This restaurant's ambiance and food was amazing but the service was disgraceful. My friend and I went for dinner Saturday evening May 2nd 2026. They sat us in a corner on the second level by the kitchen far away from the entertainment .Once the waitress arrived she seemed aggressive and uneasy. We asked about Lamb Chops. She stated " I hate lamb , you can't ask me anything about that because I don't know". Then when we ordered our Side Cars she stated "the cheapest cognac is Hennessy and that's what they make them with but I know you two are ok with that" (I must admit the drinks were good) But everything seemed very Racist. Once I was done with my two lobster tails and spinach , she said " dang Girl you ate all your food huh." And to top it off we spent over $300 and when I paid the bill (physically handing her my card). After running the card she placed the bill I n front of my friend who did not pay. Their Old Fashioned, Lobster Bisque, and service is as spectacular as the view, but their steaks leave a lot to be desired. The bar here has more of the best, high-end, liquor than I have ever seen in one place...which includes Pappy Van Winkle. I see Louis XIII all the time, but I have never seen Pappy by the glass...still not enough in my wallet for even one glass at $75. The bartender did say that this is a double-pour, so think $37.50 with a minimum of two shots. Most might prefer the 27 yr old Heavenly Hill for a mere $95 a shot...again, a double-shot. As for the dinner, the Lobster Bisque is extraordinary, but the portion size is very small, no exaggeration. It has chunks of lobster in it, which I have not experienced at any other restaurant. My steak was prepared exactly as I requested, so kudos there, but taste and texture were sorely lacking. I added a cold water lobster tail, which was slightly under cooked...a little trick that chefs use to hide the fact that it is not completely fresh...either that, or they just didn't prepare it correctly. In either case, I was not pleased. Their Key Lime Tart is among the best, a little different, in that they do not top it with whipped cream, instead a cloud of lightly toasted meringue sits atop a very thick, tangy, key lime custard. Mt wife ordered the ribeye and OMG one of the best tasting bone in I have ever tried. great steak! The crab cake as always was delicious. Man oh man.... I had the Chilean sea bass which was good but the portion was a little small, the crust was a little over cooked. But overall decent. The scalloped potatoes were delicious as usual! Now here is the touchy part. The oysters made us ill. I ate two and my wife ate four of a serving of six. I told her raw oysters have the vibrio and it is likely to get people sick. She loves her raw oysters. As I am typing this she is at home trying to recover. Thus the lower rating. Just do not eat raw oysters and I need to heed my own advice. I am not sure the restaurant can prevent this from happening it may be out of their control. Value- 3.5 stars. This rating is because our bill was 320 bucks and we had zero cocktails. Seems a bit pricy for sure for just two meals and a couple sides with a shared dessert. If the food poisoning was not a factor the review would be much better but I am not sure how this day is going to go, I may have to take her to the hospital. Overall I give this experience 4.25 stars according to the math but I am going to give it 4 stars on the rating itself and it could get worse depending on the outcome. read more

We visited this steakhouse as a party of five for a birthday. Our table was ready when we arrived. There was a birthday card on the table for the birthday boy (boyfriend's oldest adult son), which was a nice touch. The restaurant is quite old and dated, but there's an amazing view of the Queen Mary. A pianist played jazz and retro songs on a black baby grand in the corner. Service was polite, but slow. There were pats of butter on the table, but no bread. After about 25 minutes, I finally requested bread. The place was not busy, yet we waited awhile for drinks. Two of their signature cocktails, the mandarin one and the lavender gin and tonic, were not good. Boyfriend gave me his gin and tonic as it was too sweet for him to drink. Everyone ordered steak except for me: I had the sea bass, which was outstanding! The food was quite good. Kids ordered the sashimi plate as an appetizer, and boyfriend and I split a wedge salad. After dinner, our server brought the birthday boy a crème brûlée dessert, with one lit candle. Our other son ordered the caramel crème brûlée, which the server never ordered for us, so we had to wait additional time for her to put the order in, get it, and wait for him to eat it before we could leave. We were there around 2.5 hours. Everyone had a good time, but for the prices charged, everything should have been flawless. This is a very expensive restaurant. Pro tip: Use valet parking for $10. Am glad to say I had a different experience at Queensview. Our waiter was very attentive. We ordered salads- I ordered the beet salad which was ok, it had watermelon-it wasn't watermelon season: and my husband enjoyed his Caesar salad. Entree was lamp chops and bone in ribeye ; sides were cream corn, onion rings, Mac and cheese . Everything was good, cream corn was very flavorful with the Poblano peppers. Been here twice now, once in 2024 and once in 2025. First time was great, food was fantastic quality and we were sat by the window and the ambiance was great - 5/5 in 2024. Second time we were sat between the pickup window and the bussing station. I am not sure why they have a table there, but it was very disruptive and was not great for a fancy celebration. Staff was friendly, but not as attentive as before. Food was more disappointing this time around (ordered almost all the same items from 2025). We have dined at Queensview Steakhouse multiple times for the past few years. We have celebrated a few birthdays and one anniversary dinner at Queensview. Despite the challenging weekend parking, we thought this place was still worth it. The past few years, the quality in food, started to decline. But it's almost non-noticeable. I celebrated my birthday on 03/09/2025. Ordered the NY steak and my GF ordered the filet mignon. Her filet mignon was OK. A bit over cooked. It was supposed to be medium. Sadly, my NY steak was not good. It was also Over cooked and it did not taste at all like my past orders. I had to add salt and pepper to it because it tasted bland, as well. I'm not a "Karen" and I didn't want to make a scene so I did not say anything about our steaks. Service was okay. Just disappointed the food didn't turn out good. I understand there are more options than just steaks with this restaurant. But, if you are looking to enjoy some "nice steak", there are other places within the city and area that will be much better for the price. We had never been to this place before, but the reviews made it sound as though it would be perfect for our anniversary. And it definitely was! The entire evening was magical. There's no other way to describe it. from being greeted at the door by the general manager, Gregory, to being served throughout the evening by our wonderful, helpful and so friendly server named, the entire evening got off to a fantastic start. Our main dishes of Chilean seabass and filet mignon turned out to be exceptionally well-executed and largely justified the hefty price. Wow! This place deserves all the stars!!! What an incredible view. First of all the view--wow. Oh the third floor of the Parker Lighthouse (which is a beautiful lounge type restaurant in itself) but this lounge is on the 3rd floor. You kind of feel like you are entering a secret supper club! With the tall ceilings and beautiful views, it was perfect. The food was delicious. We stated with the French onion soup and the bacon wrapped dates. Both had interesting and elevated flavor pallets. For our entree we split the Prime Porterhouse for two--which came with 32 oz. of meat, 2 sides, and a dessert to share. Everything was tasty. I'd recommend the queens steak sauce--it was perfect with the meat! I would say the service was fantastic as well. Our server was great. Alright one full week in LB and 6 spots later, finally a solid 5/5. Service, ambiance, and food were on point. Also the value plays a big role to me when I'm spending $200 and this was worth it. Martinis were icey on top and yummy. Ordered extra dirty and they weren't dirty enough, so go with filthy. The small seafood platter was honestly a lot of food, and the best part of the meal for $60. There were 8 snow crab pieces, 4 fresh oysters, 2 half lobster bites and even tuna poke on top!! Mac and cheese with lobster was great, but the cheese tasted a little velveta like, but there was no way it was that...still loved it French onion soup hit the spot, drank it all. Red beet salad was super fresh with crunchy watermelon. Table bread with the pecan and honey butter was killer too. I honestly will come back and get the seafood tower to myself and leave happy if I'm craving seafood. Free 2 hour parking. UPDATE: 40 hours later, both our stomachs started to bubble.
