Good priced donuts and kolaches and open on Sunday's too. Got the cream filled donut and bacon/egg/cheese/potato kolache. Both were very good in size and flavor and were given to me warm. Even though I came in early afternoon, they still tasted fresh. They also have drive through service which is great on cold days or hot Texas summers.

These are supposed to be Glazed Do-Nuts. Brown and over cooked.

I just came from this location which I frequent weekly. But today they should be ashamed of themselves selling me the donuts I got. Honestly after that I will not be eating Shipley's anymore. I'll stick with a local spot. Terrible,

Shipleys really truly is donut gold. We just moved back to Texas and are so happy we can make a Shipleys donuts run part of our Saturday morning ritual again! Every weekend we go and try a different assortment of goodies. This week we ordered a half dozen assorted - including glazed, maple, white iced, a cinnamon roll and the jalapeño cheese & sausage Kolache! Shipleys never disappoints!

Been eating Shipleys ham and cheese kolache's since I was five years old. Their new change to this square block ham in has is ruined it for good. Why change all of a sudden?? Won't be back

Rat poop. I went through their drive through and got a dozen of their sugar donuts. I order from this specific location frequently because of convenience and I haven't had any issues in the past. Got home and my brother went to grab a donut and he discovered rat poop on the donut. We immediately called the Shipley's and explained what we found and were told "that's funny because we don't have rats, must be a chocolate sprinkle.". We told them that if we showed up with it and they saw no issues trusting that it was a sprinkle, we'd leave and not ask for a refund. The employee responded "okay, pull up" with a chuckle and snarky tone. My brother returned the donuts and was met with incredibly rude staff members. We didn't care about the refund, but the fact that an issue with sanitation was met with disrespect vs genuine concern from employees was appalling.

These are your run-of-the-milk topping filled donuts. Pretty sugary but they will definitely fill you up since they're pretty big. Will make a good companion for any cup of coffee

Getting my vegetables today, I suppose. #lostcarrot found in my sausage jalapeño kolache...

I should have saved the drive and the calories. We ordered two large kolaches: one regular sausage and cheese and one sausage, jalapeño and cheese; two donuts and one order of donut holes. First, the order was wrong. Second, the donuts were cold and dry. Third, the jalapeño kolache had a couple of unwelcome surprises. I found a carrot and a wilted onion in the jalapeño kolache, which was kinda gross... I began to think that the filling was from the remnants of someone's lunch, scraped into the pastry... my imagination began to run... ew!! So, that location was a one and done for me.

I recently rediscovered Shipley's after having gone to another donut shop and trying to order an item from memory that turned out to be from the Shipley's menu, that being their delicious French vanilla cappuccino. Seriously, it is so creamy and steaming hot. I'm happy to be reunited with not only it, but Shipley's kolaches as well. They have sweet, soft breading that's got a spring to it. My go-to are the ham&cheese and the sausage cheese & jalapeno, but I also gave the pizza jalapeno a shot and would highly recommend the experience. Their boba teas are a treat! This location has such great customer service too.

The donuts are the bomb like usual, but I was very impressed with the staff, who were very patient and friendly with us when we were stumbling through our order. Thank you!

I walked in and the two employees seemed confused about my request to pick up an online order, they looked around and saw an order ticket still hanging out of the machine. They did rush to prepare my order fairly quickly, but then without saying a word to me (I'm sitting right there in front of them on my phone waiting) they put a note on my bag saying "some items we ran out of and we substituted with what we have on hand and added a few extra donuts at no charge". I would be OK with this, except apparently they only had 2 of the donuts I ordered on hand, therefore substituting 80% of my order without even talking to me. And there was not 1 extra donut given. Kolaches were decent tho

Always have great service and great employees. Donuts are solid for a really good price. Great place to go for some nice birthday donuts.

Based on the decor I can tell they're not trying to be a "trendy" bakery and remain true to their identity as a neighborhood business. They still had a good number of pastries available but I did get the last strawberry danish of the day (pictured). I also got the almond croissant. Their pre-made bread loaves all looked appetizing as well. I thought both pastries had good texture but could have used more filling/flavoring.

She even gave my toddler a complimentary macaron. Sweet. I am usually pretty adventurous with trying new pastries/snacks and it generally works out well. Unfortunately, I did not like most of the things we took home that day (my husband agreed). A taro egg ball thing -- not fans. A gelatinous rice blob inside a bamboo leaf (believe it's called Zongzi) -- also didn't work for us. Finally, the beef puff (which seemed like a safe bet) fell short of expectations. It's my fault -- I ignored that part that said "beef floss." It had a stringy/processed texture that I just didn't like. I just wasn't a fan of the flavors/textures -- but obviously that's subjective. I did enjoy the garlic bread we also thankfully bought -- it was soft and flavorful. If you're not familiar with the foods, I'd recommend making sure you get a few "safe" items like the cream bread or garlic bread. Ultimately, even though I wasn't crazy about most of what I tried, it was a cute little shop with a nice lady running it.
