Good vibes place to meet with my gfs for brunch! The staff were so accommodating, especially since we had a newborn. They moved us from the cramped bar area to the other side where there's another patio (also very small but we managed) the drinks we ordered were very refreshing cocktails! I believe the one I ordered was an orange juice cocktail mixed with passion fruit. It was yummy! I ordered the lobster tail which was okay but lacking the lobster meat for a $33 plate. I should've stuck with the suggested ones which were the eggs Benedict and breakfast burrito but I didn't feel like having "breakfast". I would come back to try other things on the menu. It was beautiful weather so the outside patio was perfect.
The Attic has been one of my favorite spots since before I even moved to Long Beach. I definitely need to try more of their menu, but my go-to is always the mac and cheese with Hot Cheetos it's not just hype, there's a reason it's the number one recommended dish. The mac and cheese is made perfectly, and the cheese melts so well with the Hot Cheetos. It's also dog friendly, which makes the experience even better. My dog can get a little anxious and vocal, so I'm mindful and head out once he starts getting chatty The service is always amazing, and the building itself is a must see.. it honestly feels like you're in a home enjoying a really nice meal.
What a great brunch spot! The Attic was recommended to us by a friend, and we had the best time here grabbing an early brunch when driving between LA and the OC. Service was amazing and food was great. We were actually told that everything was made fresh here, and if we wanted something that wasn't on the menu just to ask. It's a cozy location with an interesting build out around the house which is where the Attic is located. PROPS: Amazing food and service SLOPS: Parking is very limited behind this location, and nearby.
I have NO clue how it's taken me this long to finally try The Attic. I've lived the majority of my life in Long Beach and somehow never came here. I will say an ex of mine did bring me a takeout Mac & cheese (Cheetos) take out plate from here many years ago which I thought was good, but a little gimmicky to me... but now that I finally had the chance to dine-in here, I understand the hype. We had an excellent server (don't recall her name unfortunately) for the entire meal which made the experience great. She recommended us a great refreshing alcoholic beverage (considering I had a hangover anyways) and we were torn between several food options but ended up with the cheese burger and breakfast Sammie since we both wanted to try both items and figured we could just split. Both were delicious, but I really have to hand it to the breakfast sandwich. Everything hit perfectly and my taste buds were very happy. We both agreed with this. I'd rate the breakfast sandwich a solid 9/10 and the cheeseburger an 8.2/10. Both very great options, Love the vibe of this place. It seems like it used to be a house back in the day which became converted into a restaurant and/or business at some point. Will be back again!
I like this spot when shopping on Broadway. There is a small parking lot in the back, which really helps on the busy street which speaking of, the patio is pleasant to dine on. Everything thing we shared was well flavored and balanced. The only hiccup was the service being a bit slow. Very nice service, so it is more of a staffing issue than anything else.
We came on a weekday so getting a table quickly wasn't an issue. Points for the service. The hostess and server were good. The restaurant has multiple parts. There is inside seating what looks like a converted house? There is outside seating at tables or at the bar. The menu was interesting which had a theme of shrimp; there was eggs Benedict with shrimp, but not an item to order a regular one without it? Sure maybe could have ordered and asked without shrimp but pay the same price? Pass. Ok when I called they mentioned they serve brunch until 3? 3:30 I can't remember. The server mentioned they serve the brunch all day? Either way when I got to ordering this month on the menu it highlighted the shrimp po boy. I tried to order and nope, out. How can you be out of the item highlighted as the special in the middle of the day? When the place is not packed? I tried to order the lobster roll and again, out. I was tempted to order their short rib poutine since in theory it sounded good, but at this point I tried something simple I would hope they have in the kitchen chicken and waffles. The plate came and it looks good. If you look at the picture at the bottom of the chicken you can see a dark something. As I lift my chicken I found a huge burnt piece of breading pictured next. On top of the chicken is green onion I think? Who eats that with chicken and waffles? If I am wrong, a garnish is totally unnecessary for this dish. The chicken was moist. There are spices in the flour breading I can see but hard to taste what it is. The waffle is a hard pass for me. The waffle was crispy which is good, but also thin and dry and I couldn't taste any sweetness until I put maple syrup on it. The syrup came out warm which was nice. It's clear watching the people at the bar this is a local hangout. The chicken and waffles were $19 which if I was in the bay I think it's about right, but I think a little high considering the level of food I got. Supposedly this place is packed specifically on Sundays. The server doesn't know why? I'm not interested to even try to come back for a second chance and just be told sold out of the menu.
We walked up and we're greeted immediately by Jordan who is completely lovely. We sat outside as the weather was good and there weren't too many people. We ordered from the happy hour menu. My fiancee got gumbo and I got the Attic cheeseburger. It was one of the best burgers Ive ever eaten and I don't say that lightly as a burger lover. Fiancee loved the creamy gumbo. Our water was constantly being refilled and we were being checked on. Great! For dessert I got the affogato and it was delicious. Perfect balance of hot and cold.
Best brunch spot in Long Beach! Or dare I saw allll of Los Angeles?!? It's the chef(s), the ambiance and the service that make this quaint spot perfection! There is a small lot in the back to park or plenty of street parking. It has a large outdoor dining section and cute bar, and is VERY dog friendly as well! (They even have a dog menu!!) They have inside seating too and it's an old, vintage house converted into this charming restaurant space. The bathrooms are clean and large! I can't say enough about literally every menu item here, but I'll highlight some. The menu is so eclectic but boasts southern upscale cuisine and it is unique, creative and very satisfying! The brunch menu is king, in my opinion, and is served every day until three, so if you're a late riser, you can't miss out on this late brunch, that is the best (again) in Long beach! I love the stone rice bowl-the flavors will change your life! The BEC is also phenomenal-it's a McDonald's style huge hash brown patty, topped with bacon and yummy scrambled eggs! It's unique and fabulous! I also adore the Nashville chicken sandwich. The flavor combinations in it are mouthwatering and it's better than any other chicken sandwich I've ever had! The chocolate cake should NOT be slept on and their beignets (yes!!!) are fresh and craveworthy. The happy hour is awesome for happy hour seekers like myself. Discounted craft cocktails, beer and wine and I recommend the Bon Temps! I love the happy hour burger-TRUST ME on that and thank me later! Fries are hand cut and amazing as well! The service is perfection and the staff is friendly, polished and top notch. I almost didn't want to write a review because I almost ALMOST just eat to keep this hidden gem to myself! But I have to give them credit for all that they are. Try them out immediately!!
I've been to The Attic several times. I think I prefer brunch. I didn't see many menu options that appealed to me. Shrimp cocktail was presented well. Flavors were as expected. Ordered bread that was yummy but $2 for one slice. The Mac & Cheetos was a disappointment. I've had the dish before but this time it lacked flavor, noodles were too al dente. Ordered the. Citrus Sea Bream. Again, this dish was average; salad that came with it was good. Server and wait staff were all excellent; friendly and attentive. Dirty dishes were removed quickly. Nice covered patio with heat lamp and music was playing. Small parking lot and street parking available.
Our meal was amazing! We had a reservation but seating was plentiful on a Monday evening. The location is super cute and although most seating is outside they had heat lamps and transparent wall covers to keep the warmth in. I had the new South Eastern Pork Rib on a rice cake and it was amazing. It was Crunchy, sweet, and so tasty.

I waited 2 hours, which is the longest I've EVER waited at a restaurant to eat. Boy, was it worth it. Mac and Hot Cheetos were delicious. The Bloody Mary's were bomb. The service in the rain was pretty fantastic. This was the first rain of the rain season and it poured. read more

Yes this is the real deal folks. I am extremely biased when it comes to creole and Cajun food,considering my mom is from New Orleans. The dishes have a unique twist on Cajun and creole food and I was very impressed. The food was seasoned very well and our dishes did not disappoint. I will definitely return. FINALLY a Bloody Mary that I can enjoy. I'm usually not a fan of Bloody Marys but The Attic has changed my mind. I shared a Meat Man Blood Mary with my cousin after our morning run and loved every sip and bite (comes with a little slider) of it. The balance between alcohol and other ingredients was perfect - I didn't feel overwhelmed by any one flavor. Highly recommend! P.S. Yes, Bloody Mary's are the perfect post run recovery snack. read more

Food and Atmosphere was great! Dog friendly too! I enjoyed my meal here very much. I came for the notorious Hot Cheetos Mac & Cheese (OG Mac). It did not disappoint. I was a bit hungry so I decided that a nice burger would compliment the OG Mac. It did, beautifully. The proportions were generous. The mac and cheese plenty big enough to share with 2-3. However, it's delicious so you may want your own bowl. Other menu items really caught my eye, such as the Chicken and Waffles. I love Chicken and Waffles and if I go back, that'll definitely be on my plate! I don't think you could go wrong with anything, here. It's a great place with a unique feel. Even after a few days of being here, I'm still thinking about that Banana Fosters bread pudding with ice cream on top. With over 2,000 reviews and a solid 4 stars, the Attic must be doing something right. Honestly, I wasn't expecting this place to be that great but surprised to see this place to be very good. Good choice Dana K.! Funny thing is that we came here for dessert only to order entrees just after we had dinner. The entrees here are definitely home cooked Southern cooking. Chicken pot pie with a blanket flakey crust was outstanding. Very rich creamy dish which came with a side of garlic bread for dipping. I didn't try the mac n cheese with Flamin Cheetos on top but the crew devoured it. A bit too rich for me but looked delicious. Now back to that Banana Fosters bread pudding! Bread pudding itself is traditional but the caramel buttery sauce, caramelized banana, whipped cream and ice cream combo is bliss and smiles all over the table. Gotta love that drenched caramel sauce which looks like someone spilled too much sauce on it. Service here is good and very attentive though they didn't have some fried items we were looking for. We came late and their excuse is the fryer wasn't working. I didn't think that to be true. Probably just a reason to clean up soon close to closing shop. This restaurant has a front patio with warmers and a porch with a sofa, coffee table and some blankets to relax and stay warm during the evening. You'll feel right at home here. Went on an early friday evening. Cool mellow vibe, mix of trendy/foodie artsy fartsy folks. Good service, delish bloodys. Had the App sampler: -hot cheeto mac n cheese.. Yes pls. Yum and just enough -bacon wrapped jalapenos yum with a kick -fgt: fried green tomato with fresh moz and basil yum. Not oily or soggy. Hubs had the piping hot chick pot pie yum!! Perfection. We really enjoyed ourselves. Found parking in their small lot. We waited about 20 min on the "front porch" with a bloody and watched the locals pass by. If you are going with a group or will be hungry id suggest making resos, after all its a small house. -bar area is very nice, patio area is cool and inside is cozy and not too noisy. A really enjoyable evening with nice paced service. Great job guys... We will be back soon and bring friends! read more
Who can resist the pictures of the mac 'n flaming hot cheetos? I couldn't. That dish singlehandedly took me to Long Beach to try The Attic. Unfortunately, that, along with the banana foster bread pudding were the only highlights of the meal. We started with the appetizer sampler - green fried tomatoes, devilish eggs, cream cheese stuffed jalapeno wrapped in bacon, and a small portion of the mac 'n cheese. The tomatoes were tasteless, the eggs were stuffed with a filling that had too much mayonnaise in it, and the jalapeno probably would've been better if it had been crab-stuffed as the online menu suggested. The mac and cheese was definitely interesting, and it tasted alright but it screamed for ooey, gooey cheese instead of a cheese sauce. For dinner, I ordered the catalina burger, which was made with a bison patty. The flavor of the patty was odd for me and the burger didn't have the juiciness that I'd hoped that it would've had. The veggie burger with a black bean patty was absolutely perfectly seasoned, however. Both came with cajun fries which were too soft and limp. The apparently popular buttermilk fried chicken lacked seasoning, as did the accompanying mashed potatoes. The best thing that we ate was easily the banana foster bread pudding. I would drive to Long Beach daily for that! It was soft and cinnamony and that whipped cream on the side was divine! The only issue was that in the whole piece that we had, there was only one piece of a banana. Service was excellent until we actually needed something - takeaway boxes, clean utensils, the bill - then our waitress was nowhere to be found. We had to get up and take her our payment so that we could leave. This place was not a hit and the flies swarming our table added to the mediocre experience. read more
Came here on a weekday because I've heard there were really long waits during the week. Best decision ever because we were seated right away. The place is so cute...felt really homey. Staff was friendly and prompt. We started with the Cheeto Mac and cheese which was good. My son loved it but for me it was basic Mac with Cheetos. The Nutella French toast on the other hand was delicious. No syrup needed...perfectly cooked with the choclatey goodness that is Nattela. The eggs Benedict were also good. A cute place, I would definitely like to come back and try other things from the menu but it would definitely have to be a weekday again. read more

My family and I came here after hiking in the morning, and it was simply the best! Even with my large family, we were seating very quickly for brunch and the service was amazing! We ordered almost one thing from each section of the menu so we could try it all! I ordered the omelette with the blue crab and shrimp with the biscuit, the cheese in the omelette with the avacado on top was delicious, and the biscuit with the homemade jam was so good! Golden crispy on the outside and warm and soft in the inside, we were sad we didn't order more on the side. BUT we will remember next time! And the homemade jam so good and they made different kinds during the day. We will be back here again for sure! If you are a bloody mary person, this is a well known bloody mary bar/restaurant, and The Attic was it. For those who don't know what's a bloody mary, a bloody mary is basically vokda mixed in tomato juice and a tiny dash of horseradish. If you want a fancy, DELICIOUS bloody mary, come to the Attic! So glad this place was in Long Beach! First thing first, they have a patio area where you can just order drinks, however, seats are all over, so make yourself feel like 'home'. HINT: Less wait! Order your drinks from the waitress/waiter. There's not table for the patio that's just for drinks and snacks, so grab an extra seat so you can use that as your table, they won't say anything. He ordered the Meaty man. Which is a bloody mary topped with a shrimp and a pulled pork slider. Freakin amazing idea and awesome. That bloody mary can turn into a snack or a meal depending on you. I would recommend that to you fellas out there when having a brunch. I got the Baja Bloody Mary. Instead of vodka, it was tequilla and they serve a beer on the side. Two drinks for one price? Deal! There are a variety of bloody marys on their menu and the majority of the customized ones are $12 and simple ones are about $9-$10. But why get a simple bloody mary when you can get an customized one, right? Food wise... we didn't order since we came after our brunch. But for looking around the tables, the cheeto mac & cheese seem to be very popular. I guess I am going to have to stop by here again with the boyfriend and try out their other bloody mary's as well! As for parking, best to do street parking, but watch out for residential permits only area. Note: If you want to brunch here, make sure to make a reservation or come early to get seats. My friends have been raving about this place for months. The last time I came down for a visit we tried on Sunday to come but it was a 45 minute wait. This time we came on a Saturday and guess what, it was a 45 minute wait. My guess is that is what they always say as it really ended up being only 30 minutes. It kinda bothered me though when we put our name in there were 3 empty tables on the patio, for a long time. We were seated inside and our server Karrie was dope. We asked for a few recommendations and she was spot on. To start off with you must get the Mac N Cheetos. Oh that's right, Mac N CHEETOS. How have I not thought of this? It is a party for your mouth. Mac N cheese is bomb by itself right? Add bacon and it's heavenly right? Then top it off with crumbled spicy cheetos, that's Mensa level thinking right there! They serve up a nice size bowl of it too. 3 of us shared it and each one of us had plenty. One of my friends took Karrie's other recommendation for the My Boy Bleu burger. YES! That is a fine bison burger. The other friend also took a recommendation for the chicken fried steak benedict. You read that right. That was amaze balls too. I um didn't take a recommendation. I um have to be different. I ordered the brat pack. It was a'ight. The brats were good and it was the first time I'd had them with eggs. I think that's why I ordered it. I will 1,000% be coming back. The house is super cute, there's a giant clean restroom, somehow we both got parking in the back and Karrie, well she was great. I've got my eye on the chicken pot pie for next time! read more
It was about time to try something new, and my husband had been wanting to try this place out. We decided to head on over during our extended weekend. The Attic is a very small but popular place located in Long Beach off Broadway and Newport. They have seating inside a house as well as a decent sized patio section. There are about three tables or so individually, and a few long benches with shared tables in several rooms. One thing to be prepared for: Being cozy. Unless you get one of those individual tables, you will end up near another party. We are not fans of it but we sat on opposite ends and my husband was hungry so he caved in although he had some mumblings for a while. I was nice and gave him the side with the pillows while I took the wooden chair. If you end up in the other room it is an even tighter fit, and there is patio seating where you can also be close and cozy. However, you can bring your furry friend if you sit outside which is cool. We came here knowing that we were going to try the Mac n Cheetos. My husband had been wanting to try this ever since he spotted the pictures on Yelp. Another tip: Don't let the online menu deceive you. Prices and items were different on most of the selections we had this round. The Mac n Cheetos no longer came with the bacon and was no longer $7. It was now $8 and $1 extra to add bacon. There are several options now to add inside the mac. Some were $1 and some were $2. They had about 6-9 choices. I don't remember the exact number. It was definitely delicious and worth trying. It will probably be a must have on future visits. My husband also had his heart set on the chicken pot pie. He said that it was creamier than most pot pies that he has had. Although I could tell he has enjoyed other pot pies more, he was satisfied. I went with the turkey meatloaf. The online menu mentioned BBQ sauce but it was no longer on the menu. It had a wine glaze like sauce. I still ordered it. I also found out that I could not have mashed potatoes until after 4pm. It was only 11 something. I had the regular potatoes. It came with carrots and asparagus. I loved every bite! It was also $1 more than the online menu. We enjoyed the flavors here for sure, but be prepared to pay more than usual. Our total for both meals, the appetizer, and two drinks ran us up to $49. So I guess pricing isn't that much different if you skip the appetizer, but I don't see that happening with us here. Delicious food, and very friendly service. We will definitely be back. read more
OG Mac... Is wack! I tried giving this place another chance after my first visit about 2 years ago, and I wasn't surprised of my findings. Still not a fan! Honestly, nothing to see here, how unfortunate. Parking is cramp. No attendant at the front to help seat. Menu falling apart. Unprofessional staff. Slim picking for food options. Charge for sauces. Overpriced for portion size. And what really matters the most, the food... Extremely mediocre and underwhelming! This place is all hype! Really. So save your time and money and go elsewhere. A picture of their oh so infamous Mac and cheese with hot Cheetos on top ain't even worth it, because let's be honest here, that's what everyone comes here for, just the picture! The Attic, yes this place is incredible from food, staff, and atmosphere. Let's first start out that they didn't take reservations over the phone for brunch (Mother's Day) so I drove down to the place and put my name down. Wait time approximately an hour and half. No problem since I had to pick up family from the airport and run other errands. Hostess got my number to text me when my table would be ready.. Great! Fast forward - arrived and hostess was able to hold my table.. Even gave us a better table outdoor! Sweet! The menu has got better; well it's been a while since I've been here so I definitely miss the food. Since it was brunch time.. I love brunch! My sis got the strawberry lemonade, and it was amazing the fresh bits of fruits. Not sweet, but strong - I wasn't sure if this was even a non-alcoholic drink. And the cinnamon french toast was my fav! Not sweet or doughy. Got scrambled eggs too. Not expensive during brunch but maybe during dinner time. read more

Are you here wondering about the famous mac & (hot) cheetos....alright, I'll tell you about it: Ambiance Parking | Street parking and private parking in the back. Generally busy but I came here on a casual Monday evening (5:45), which I was lucky to find a spot. Seating | Plenty. Inside or outside, date night or groups. I would say a good 60 people. Feels | This ain't no Attic so it is a one story floor. Sorry to ruin your imagination. Other than that it's a pretty cool place. It's next to a semi-busy street where you can people watch or just enjoy the wonders of outside. In the inside is pretty homey with wooden floors and popular funk music...like Stevie Wonder! Food: Mac & Hot Cheetos (Recommended) You have additional flavors (ranging from $1-2) to add such as onion bacon, mushrooms, shrimp, ribs, and more! However to its' base, it was well cheesy and the hot cheetos get pretty messy. Simple elements yet quality ingredients and presentation. I enjoyed the balance of the soft mac, gooey cheese, and crunchy cheetos. Customer Service | Super! We asked to change seats to outside and they granted our wish without hesitation. Kudos on their attentiveness and friendliness. Overall | 4.5 stars. The items may have fundamental toppings but the combinations are unique. Price is reasonable and the food was just delicious. The ambiance was a great social place, though we did encounter a happy drunk dude....that's not the Attic's fault. Any who I recommend this to people who want something different or interested in exploring the night out. There are a lot of great areas around this place too. Till next time, the Attic! Thank you Sammy for the wonderful service for our group of 11 hungry and thirsty people after work. Thank gosh for $5 Margarita Mondays! *For a large party, half must be present in order to be seated. Ask for split checks! One downfall: the flies..... Peach Martini ($5 on Mondays): Tasted more of the champagne and not enough peach flavor! BUT hay, i can't complain if there's more alcohol, and it doesn't hurt that it was only $5! Short Rib Poutine ($11): The fries were fresh but get a little soggy if you don't eat it quick from the red wine glaze. There was only 3 mozzarella cheese curds but I wish they were melted on top of the fries and ribs! Tender braised short ribs that melt in your mouth. The only downfall for the dish was all that salt! Definitely felt the bloating after. The Reuben ($10): Substituted the fries for mac n cheetos - additional $2. Mm the bread came NICE and crunchy. A great amount of meat for the price. I have been dreaming of the mac n cheetos since I first saw it on Yelp almost a month ago. It gets 3.5/5 stars from me. The first bite was amazing but once you finish the top layer, there are no more hot cheetos!! Just mac n cheese after that. Perhaps they should give some extra hot cheetos on the side for customers to top after reaching the middle! Bananas Foster Bread Pudding ($8): Sammy surprised me with complimentary bread pudding for my birthday. The bananas foster alone earns 5 (million) stars! I can't even begin to explain how glorious it is! Once you dig your spoon into that piece of heaven, your heart will stay with it forever! The whip cream on the side was light and paired perfectly with the bread pudding. COME GET THIS !! You won't regret it. read more
Since my first time here, I've returned and dined in about 4 more times, mostly for brunch. Each time, the service is great- not overbearing but there when needed. The food is pretty good. Not amazing, but pretty good. I've tried the Boxty Benedict (4/5), the surf and turf Benedict (4.5/5), and the country fried steak Benedict (3.5/5). The Mac and Cheetos isn't as amazing as i remember, BUT it is still very good. Today was when I had the boxty Benedict. It came with a potato patty, corned beef, poached eggs, a special hollandaise sauce, potatoes, and fruit (melon, watermelon, pineapple). It was definitely filling, so come hungry. I still love the decor and vibe of the place. Though parking can be tough, and the view is a street, the seating both indoor and outdoor are cute. Dang, this place is popular! I didn't realize how in demand this restaurant was until we rolled up on a Sunday afternoon to meet a group of friends. Since The Attic doesn't take Sunday reservations, one person in our party took one for the team and showed up 90-120 mins before our scheduled meeting time to get our group on the waiting list. When we arrived, we still had a 20 minute wait. Shoutout to Rain F. for arriving so darn early. The decor is homey. The Bloody Mary menu is elaborate. You can build your own Bloody Mary or order one of the signature concoctions. The BF and I split The Veggie Bloody Mary made with basil infused gin, V8, and horseradish. It sat in an herbed tomato sauce visually reminiscent of tomatillo salsa. Delicious and filling! The portion is quite large and I got to take home leftovers for a 2nd meal. CHICKEN POT PIE!?? I am a huge fan of the flaky crusts, cubed chicken, the creamy sauce. Uhmm um UM! But for $14 *record scratch* Nuh uh, me tinks not. After polishing of my CPP, I was left feeling hungry still, like eating an expensive snack. On taste alone I would give it a 4.5 stars, but the price brought it down to 3.5 stars knowing that I can get the same quality for cheaper. Lover got gator andouille sausage w fried green peppers bene. They definitely know how to make a poached egg correctly and the dish was quite pleasant although not spectacular. The kicker: Dessert. Got the Mocha Tres leches. Now I'm piss about this the most. I LOVE LOVE LOVE tres leches. The love how the cake is soft, moist, and creamy because it's been sitting in the creamy juices of love. Ok sorry that just came out wrong. The Attic's Tres leches is terrible. For $8 you get a tiny dessert in a tiny jar, with cake that is not moist, not even mocha-y, and especially NOT soft. The damn thing was firm, waaaay too firm for what a tres leches should be. =( I am so disappointed. Lunch came out to be $38 + tax. Ouch Never again! read more

Love this place! Food has yet to disappoint me. The Mac and cheese is worth having if your a fan of lots of cheese and hot cheetos. They are also known for their fried chicken with a waffle and eggs (topped with gravy). I love that they take yelp reservations and that they have a small bar outside that's self seating. They also have an awesome Bloody Mary if your a fan of that- I noticed a lot of people ordering it for brunch. I strongly suggest making reservations- we got lucky without reservations and sat at the bar otherwise we had to wait for 45-60 mins. Downfalls: Parking- parking is tight especially because it's only street parking. Weekends can get crazy but it's not too bad if your ok with walking a block or two. No Bottomless Mimosas on the weekends. read more

As a huge mac and cheese fan, I was always curious about this place. Mac n cheetos??? What a great idea! The restaurant feels super homey and comfy. It's basically a house that was converted into a nifty restaurant with plenty of indoor and patio seating. There's almost always a wait so be prepared! We came on a Sunday morning around 11 am and ended up waiting 30-45 minutes. The good thing is that they take your phone number and text you when your table is ready. This allows you to walk around if you want to. There's a small parking lot in the back, but that only fits about 10 cars or so. You should be able to find street parking though. The service is also spot on. They have a really friendly staff. Their menu is pretty innovative. They have Mac n cheetos that can be made in a number of ways (just add various toppings here and there) and they also have some pretty cool drinks (a bloody mary with short rib sliders). You gotta give credit where credit is due and it's cool to see crazy ideas pan out! The mac n cheetos OG mac ($10) is a MUST. Infused with bacon, this was probably some of the best mac n cheese I've had. The hot cheetos bits were icing on the cake for me. The cheetos gave the dish a nice texture and crunch. It's nice and cheesy and left me wanting more!! It's a great presentation and tasted just as good!! However, that's all that was good for me. I got an order of the chicken fried steak benedict ($13) and I was really disappointed. To me, a really good benedict is one where the yolk from the egg just oozes out seamlessly and the biscuit is perfectly toasted. The Attic struck out on both. The egg was overcooked and there was barely any yolk oozing out when you broke it open. The biscuit was super doughy and too thick. To top it off, the fried chicken steak was RAZOR thin. What a letdown after a great starting to our meal. At the end of the day, this restaurant could be really special to me if their main dishes just tasted better. If they put more effort into their entrees as they do into their appetizers and drinks, it'd be a home run of a restaurant. If I were to go back, it'd be because I really want the mac n cheetos. Otherwise, I'm not really inclined to go back and try other items on the menu. read more

Does the outside dining table space have enough room for a stroller to be beside a table?
Im pretty sure they can accommodate you. Getting through the isle with a stroller might be tight.

I would call them vegetarian options, not vegan.
Do they have non alcoholic beverages?
Yes, they are a restaurant so they have non-alcoholic drinks on their regular food menu. But their alcoholic drinks are the best! Especially their Bloody Mary's❤
When do they stop serving breakfast (during weekdays)?
They don't, should be an all day menu.
Will they have Thanksgiving brunch?
No they are not open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
