I was told that it was very busy and that I would have to leave my car there for a couple hours. All I wanted was a routine oil change. I told the man that there was absolutely no way I could wait four hours because I had other things to do and it involved traveling, plus I had no one to take me to and from the dealership when it was finished. I told him that it wasn't a problem for me to come back another day. He insisted that I stay and that my vehicle be serviced. He spoke with someone and then told me they could squeeze me in and it would take about an hour. I was fine with that and 1hr 15min later I had my car back. Great customer service, very nice man, and everyone at Tom Bell Chevrolet is very nice/respectful. I regret not remembering the employee's name who helped me. You all are AWESOME! read more

Don't ever trade in a leased car to them. Almost 4 months later and a ton of unanswered calls from us. We had to physically go in there to talk to someone. They finally drove it around the corner to Toyota so it could go off of our credit report! This is just one of the many issues we had with this joke of a dealership including them not inspecting the car we bought and us calling them out on it and having to re-do our entire contract because of it. We will never buy from them again and have told everyone we know about all we have gone through. They care only about sales and nothing else! read more

She took great care of my car while it was there and kept me updated the entire time. My vehicle had to have the engine replaced so she even put me in a rental car and everything was covered under warranty. I was very pleased with her and everything she did for me! I spend over five hours at the dealership my husband and I were happy thinking that we had the deal that sales rep and manager offered but after we removed everything from our old car for the trade and waiting for another hour and half the finance manager gave us different numbers that was totally off from the deal that we previously agreed, it was a very disappointing experience that after test driving three cars, credit ran, agreed to a deal and at the end walked out with nothing. I honestly don't recommend going to this dealership and spending so much time. They're not honest with customers and provided false hopes and false information. Fortunately this is not our first time we are purchasing a vehicle or doing trade in so we know what to expect from previous times that we have done it. Our credit score is 696 almost 700 and at the end to tells us that best APR rate to offer is 10.09% was ridiculous and very disappointing. People please waste your time to get false information. read more

We just moved from the east coast and we are living with just one car. This was the first time we brought the car to a dealer since our move. I made an appointment to get a check engine light diagnostic. All staff were friendly, speedy and helpful. Many of the repairs were covered under warranty and they did the diagnosis and car wash as a courtesy. It felt like they were honest, genuine and generous. The courtesy shuttle was a wonderful convenience especially since they had our one car for over 24 hours. Such a nice experience. I'll be back for other service! read more

Victor, our sales person don't really need my 5 star review but I am going to post it anyway. I am not even the customer -- the customer was my dad (who does not have Yelp Acct). My family had a pleasant, courteous and polite buying experience. Victor went through all the paperwork with my dad, and got to explain every single item in a colloquial manner that everybody could understand, then he proceeded to courteously & professionally answered all the questions that a first time buyer would have. My dad got all the bells & whistles, that Victor could get for him on his Chevy Tahoe. Even though it was late, it was Sunday, and on top of everything it was raining Victor had a smile from the get go, until my dad was on his way to Central Valley! Even though my dad is sometimes a hard person to deal with Victor had so much patience with him & my mom. He introduce them to his manager to finalize all the paperwork, he was worried about the rain & my dad getting all crazy on his new truck. Victor, are you even real? Tom Bell Chevrolet is the most dishonest dealership I have ever bought from. I am sorry I purchased my truck from them. The salesman and finance are very high pressure and play the car dealer game very well. It took me two days to get the same rebates that Crest Chevrolet were giving me. Tom Bell initially told me I could not get all the ones that Crest offered. As a business owner, I qualified for the Chevrolet Business Choice offers which included upfit cash and a maintenance plan. I was told by Tom Bell I would get these, and over the next 3 weeks they said I couldn't unless I put the truck in my business name. They told me if I put the truck in my business name, my insurance will go up. I called Chevrolet and they said I can get the offers AND keep my truck in my name. After speaking with Derek Hanson, the GM, he agreed to give me these offers. But when I went to have my truck serviced at another dealer, I was not in the system for the maintenance plan. I had to pay. I was talked into the Cilajet product from finance and was told of all the things it would protect. After I took delivery of the vehicle, I noticed the brochure and the fine print on the back of the contact contradicted each other so I told finance I wanted to cancel this product and they wouldn't. I asked for an addendum to the contract and they wouldn't give it to me in writing, only verbal. It wasn't until I contacted Cilajet that issue got resolved. I also wanted to cancel my service contract and was told by finance that I couldn't until my trade in was cleared by my bank. I called Chevrolet again and they said I could cancel any time. My original sales contract had a higher trade in value on my old truck. When Tom Bell wrote up the new contract to add in my extra rebates, my trade in value was less. If I did not re-read the contract, I would not have noticed it. They claimed they didn't know how this number changed. I never received calls to schedule my items listed on the 'due bill' to be installed. I had to keep calling to try to schedule these. I have also had issues with the truck and one service writer told me there is nothing wrong, while another told me there is, but they cant find the problem. I went to another dealership and they showed me a bulletin that addressed this issue. Why didn't two service people at Tom Bell know of this. And I had another service issue that Tom Bell said there was nothing wrong, but the other dealership fixed the problem. You can not trust them in any of their departments and can not trust the General Manager to keep his word when trying to resolve issues. read more

Just had a new radiator and heater core installed in my '87 Chevy Caprice. Thanks to Salomon in parts I was able to get an OEM AC/DELCO radiator and not after market. The installation was done by senior tech NORM who has been a godsend in keeping my classic like new. For 25 years I've been coming to Tom Bell and can't say enough about their quality service, courtesy, and all other amenities that go with it. The entire staff, especially Gen. Mgr. While traveling from Seattle to Florida in my 1977 corvette, I found myself needing brake repair in Redlands california. I found the nearest chevrolet dealership and drove there. I was greeted by kind friendly faces who truley cared about me and my situation. They promptly reviewed my problem, offered a solution and made the repairs as explained without surprise charges. I decided to cancel my trip (unrelated to my repairs) my advisor Juan found a shipping company to get my corvette to florida and the service manager (Junior) actually had his staff take me to the airport. And believe it or not never tried to sell me a car. Now I ask everyone can you beat this service. I give this dealership 10 stars thank you so much Tom Bell Chevrolet. read more

We were treated poorly at the moment of making an appointment! The staff had an attitude and didn't show any care or concern for our vehicle needing service! After making the appointment, we were told to see a specific person when we came in. We brought our suburban in and asked for that person and we were told several times we did not have an appointment but they would 'try' to fit us in! Funny thing was, we had our appointment confirmation email on hand and proved we had an appointment. The entire experience from the moment we called was awful! After posting on Facebook our experience and asking friends and family if they had gone to this service center before and the responses we got matched our same problems with the service center! I would never buy from here again . Bought a 2014 chevy Silverado that had 12,700 miles on it . April of this year we were on the frwy and the drive shaft fell off and ruined the whole underneath gas was everywhere on the frwy . Had it towed to tombell same day and let's just say it's still there and hasn't been touched because GMC will not get back to me or them about fixing it . Horrible service, super unprofessional, a bunch of kids working there. Left my car for two days nothing was done to it. Got a call back saying I needed to take things out of the trunk for them to do anything. (Keep in mind that Im car less at the moment, and I live far so i had to scramble for a ride.) finally I asked to talk to someone in charge the guys working there just had a smirk on their faces low key laughing at me having to clean out my car ( had to clean my car up twice. First I dumped everything in the trunk, then they told me everything needed be taken out of the trunk after they saw me move everything to the trunk in the first place.). Never even offered me the cleaning service, which I would have gladly payed 20$ for, and on to top it all off that, the lady that was helping me (Jan) spent the whole time trying to sell me some warranty and was sort of rude. As I'm preparing to leave I asked someone if that's all they needed from me and he didn't even acknowledge me. I went into the dealership today with an appointment, that the company told me was REQUIRED! The appointment was for 9:00- they got to me shortly after 9:00, no problem. I own a 2018 Equinox, this was my first oil change, that is all I required. Since when does it take TWO HOURS to change the oil in a NEW vehicle??? This was my first and LAST visit I will make to this dealership! Why do they REQUIRE an appointment and then NOT follow through? Well, its been several years since I came in here, and once again was in need of some factory parts, and didnt have the option of ordering online and waiting. The items I needed were small and inexpensive, so I figured that they couldnt be too ridiculously priced. But even a simple item here is overpriced. Later I compared the items I purchased to GM suggested retail pricing, and Tom Bell's price was marked up over double. Thats a 105% markup over GM suggested retail. I have no idea how these guys continue to rip off people like this. Thank goodness we have the internet to compare with, and the option to purchase items from other sources. read more

beware!!!!! I took my 2003 duramax diesel to the service department. I am a former ASE certified Master auto technician. I knew the injectors were under warranty and they were bad according to the GM guidelines. Which is they are leaking fuel into the crankcase. This was the second trip the first trip was to tell me they were not leaking enough. The second trip the truck came in on a hook with oil leaking from everywhere. They said no problem they would change them all. Charged GM for 8 new ones and supposedly put them in. 40K miles later Im paying out of my pocket for all the ones on the right hand side to be replaced. Checked them myself. I purchased laptop GM specific software and 2 on the same side are bad. It is out of warranty now. From my experience those injectors on the hard side didnt get done, but they "said" they were. all replaced. I have had 2 of these identical trucks and the other one once the injectors were replaced it is good for 200k miles.My guess is they were sold on ebay after they were put in someones trunk or something of the such. FYI if you dont have a duramax LB7 engine. This is a $4000 job!!. Im doing it myself this time so I know its right. Still cost me $1500 and a lot of time. Took it the get checked out post purchase and found about 3k worth of shit wrong, since then the ac also crapped out adding more $$$.
