My sisters & I all came here after I came across this place on TikTok or Instagram. Unfortunately, the AC wasn't working, so it was very unbearable to sit inside. We ended up ordering a bunch of slices and sat near the front door. The guy who was taking our order was kind enough to offer us some water bottles. I'm grateful that this place has vegan & vegetarian options for my two sisters. We all enjoyed the pizza! Definitely recommend trying this place out.

The pizza was bursting with flavor and piled high with an incredible variety of toppings! Each slice was enormous, making it an absolutely amazing deal! Great for a quick lunch

One of the best causal pizza places in the city. Not only are their pizzas delicious, so are their garlic knots, sliders and salads. Also the bonus is that they have beer and wine. The person that served us was so nice and friendly. It was such an excellent experience.

Found out about this place because Dash and Lily was filmed here! Had no idea this was the exact location but so glad I happened to choose this location! I absolutely love the interior of the place, with its bold color choices and whimsy that makes it so fun and exciting! The pizza was also so good and cheap and I loved sitting in the booth where Boomer and Lily met! The name is also so cleverly thought out because they merge Italian and Louisiana inspired flavors which are both boot shaped places! Wish the bathroom had similar design but was lacking and need to be buzzed in to use but glad they have public restrooms in this city! 2.5/5 All in all, get your two boots over here stat!!

This was my first time trying pizza with Cajun-inspired flavors and ingredients. I had the Bayou Beast, Luisaida, Soul Queen, Cleopatra, and CBGB. Tough to pick a favorite but I'll go with the Bayou Beast. Don't forget to order their knots, especially the hot knots which come topped with a jalapeño pesto.

Fantastic pizza with a nice vibe. The service was okay but I love their pepperoni pizza .

Food was delicious and amazing service. Love the different options of pizza. I tried the cleopatra one and mind blowing..

Always my go to for vegan pizza. The V for vegan is amazing. Wish their many other get locations didn't t close down but the pizza is still great. They have so many options for vegan slices.

It was oddly a Sunday and we were actually walking a few blocks to meet others for dinner, but I came across this place and couldn't help but stop for a slice...as a snack! And I'm glad I did! it restored my faith in NY pizza, reminded me that NY pizza could never taste like any normal NY pizza even if they said it was NY pizza, but this was definitely NY PIZZA! We got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of Margherita and it just melted in my mouth. The flavors, the perfection of the thin crust, the seasoning -- I wish I lived much closer! We also got garlic knots which were awesome also! I enjoyed the sitting at the counter experience and having an ice cold coke with my slice. It was the best snack before my next dinner meal and I cannot complain at all! This is definitely one of my favorite pizza places in NY!

They had an efficient system to keep the line moving. The not so good: Everything else. I knew to expect no frills, but this was not a great experience. First, given the size of the customer base (even at off hours), there are few places inside and outside to stand and eat pizza and even fewer (and only outside) to sit. I ordered two slices of pizza and seeing that I would have nowhere to eat them, I asked for the slices in one of the smaller to-go boxes (which I saw they had given other people). They said they only give the boxes out for three or more slices, instead putting my two slices on a flimsy paper plate and putting them in a flimsier paper bag. Considering this pizza is more expensive than comparable spots in the area and there was nowhere to eat the pizza, the least you could do was give me a small to-go box. The pizza is fine, not great. Both slices had big bubbles in them. I don't see how this has the reputation it does for being some of the best pizza in the city.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

To start with the good: the arancini were perfectly passable, and the Sicilian pie was enjoyed by all. I would describe it as more of a Detroit style actually, with a super crispy crust and nice textural contrast. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the seasonal vegetable pie or the nepo pie. I generally really like this sort of no-cheese, umami-heavy pizza, but the nepo was so salty! I'm not sure what specific ingredient was missing, but missing it was. My hopes for a recreation of the rossa pie I enjoyed at Farina prior to their closure were dashed. As for the vegetable pie, the vegetables tasted like the frozen veggies one might find in what was once marketed as a "TV dinner". It was a shame, since the sauce of the white pie was otherwise pretty good.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
