So I live right off the 710/105 & this is the NEAREST Jersey Mike Subs to my house. I have to give it a THUMBS up for appearance considering it looks like a brand new building. Had the Philly steak sub from here last night for the first time, coming from NY and actually trying a real Philly sub this was pretty close. LOVEDDDD!!! First and last time visiting this location. I completely understand the lunch rush being a bit hectic, but they had completely lost control when I was in there. Bumping into each other, mumbling insults under their mask, and even giving me (the customer) attitude. My thing is, if you do not like your job, get another one......or maybe go back to school and do something different; you have to remain professional and by no means take out your frustrations on a paying customer......For the record, I was polite, kept to myself during all their fumbling, said thank you after I paid, and left with my mess of a sandwich. To top it off, the person carrying himself as the manager had a few extra buttons undone on his shirt with protruding chest hair showing which was not only GROSS, but could easily fall into people's food while he was angrily wrapping the sandwiches. Lastly, he obviously wasn't changing his gloves enough, because my club sandwich had spots of Tuna fish on the bread from when he wrapped it. I have been to numerous other locations during the lunch rush and have never had an experience even close to as bad as this one. l love the food there ... but be forewarned ... that parking lot is a death trap. Long Beach screwed everyone allowing that parking arrangement, that should never have happened. Driving into the parking lot is like driving into hell. Prepare to spend 20 minutes just to drive through, because people park in the one aisle available to park, waiting for someone to leave (the other aisle is for the hotel and they tow). Always a great place to eat. I've had Jersey Mike's before and I never had a bad experience. I ordered the Turkey Breast and Provolone. Never goes wrong. The bread just the right texture and of course, Mike's way; not to heavy on the condiments and it's just the right balance of bread and meat to go with it. Worst Jerseys Mikes I've ever been too. I had to repeat my order for just one sandwich four or five times. They still got it wrong. I paid for extra meat and it was so light I couldn't taste it. They had 3 guys at the place, but apparently only one guy wanted to work when I was in line He filled an order of three sandwiches for the person in front of me that took 10 minutes to make. Theft. I was in there this evening and they told me my card was declined, so I paid cash. I got home and saw they charged me twice on my debit card and took my cash! The cook tried giving me the same sandwich I ordered that he just found in the microwave and luckily I was seeing him because he would've given me some sandwich that's been in the microwave for who knows how long after he had just made a new one. They can't get their act together enough to have the employees properly trained either. Charging our order wrong and then instead of going back and redoing it they just add two more regulars. Can't go wrong with a Jersey Mike's sub for lunch. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. I always order the Turkey- Provolone (#7) and get it "Mike's Way', which includes their oil/vinegar sauce. The bread always tastes fresh and the meat is sliced right in front of you. The sandwiches here have substance to them as opposed to Subway, which goes right through you in like one hour. The only draw back is that this specific Jersey Mike's gets really crowded during lunch. Boeing and a few other big business are nearby so the line can get hectic between 11-2PM on weekdays. The staff definitely tries to move everyone through quickly so you don't end up waiting too long. Great sandwiches, folks! read more

I went the other night and it was upsetting in a couple ways. First the person didn't write my order down as I gave it to her and then she didn't prepare it so when she told the other worker she neglected to give him the special instructions. I have never had them not write it down as they do when ordering Hot sandwiches allowed so this allowed the error. I was the first customer in and three more came in behind me. I know hot Sandwichs take longer but my items were sitting while they helped the others and I had paid and they never bagged my items up and the second worker picked it up and moved it to a back counter and the first workers told him that is heres which is silly considering I was the only person in the store. At that point he proceeded to bag my order. I noticed another worker eating his dinner on a break watching them but even he didn't say anything he just stared at them knowing I was waiting. I got home and I should have known because the girl didn't write my order down it was wrong which really ruined my sandwich and it went to the trash. I'm writing because this is the second time they have not gotten my order correct due to instructions. And really they don't know why someone says they don't want an Ingredient. I have an intolerance to beef but someone may have an allergy and it's important they don't put something on if they are instructed to add or subtract an item. In this instance I wanted one cheese instead of another so more a dislike. Other than that the place is clean and neat which is a good thing. read more

Just came back from Jersey Mike's with my sandwich, feeling a little taken advantage of. 1st of all they had my bread sitting on the counter were the sandwiches are being made and i thought it was to show the size of the different sandwiches. So he asks me which style of bread I wanted and proceeded to grab a piece of bread from the so called display bread who knows how long it had been sitting there. I ask for a piece that my be a little cleaner and get a dirty look. I should have walked out right then. Anyway I get the regular size sandwich which it called a half of sandwich at any other shop. Get charged about 8 dollars. Should of when to subway and got a footlong for the same price and a least the bread is kept in a closed unit. If you want the best sandwich for the price go to Paul's deli in Garden Grove they will hook you up with a foot and a half for 12 bucks and the sandwich is the best. They're very slow. I find it humorous, as they force the poor employees to cut insanely processed meats in an effort to make them APPEAR fresh. Ew. The service was fine, but slow. The guy on the grill was much faster than the poor girl forced to slice the awful meat. I tried the Baja Wrap. The wrap had cheap Pace Picante style salsa, which was awful and watery. The jalepenoes were not particularly good either. The wrap was almost exclusively tortilla and lettuce, with a couple pieces of chicken and one bite of cheese. Won't ever go back. In this location, the workers look like they hate their jobs. I came in pretty late during this visit, about 20 minutes before closing, and the worker seemed unwilling to want me to eat there. This location is located near the Long Beach Airport, adjacent to the Marriott Courtyard. This place is relatively new, as with the plaza where it is located. I just wish that it's in a better and more accessible location. Not much food options in the area and this place is a little too expensive for what I usually spend for sub. However, the quality is beyond what I have expected. I have only tried their Philly's Cheesesteak the last two times I have been here, which is my favorite sub of all time. The meat is super tender and juicy and the amount of cheese is just perfect. I'd recommend spending an extra dollar or two here than going to Subway cause it's gonna be SO worth it. read more

I first went to Jersey Mike's in Huntington Beach off of Beach Blvd., its the best sandwich I ever had, so I was excited to have one open near where I live. Although the sandwich was great, it was alot smaller than the ones I purchase in Huntington Beach, the sandwich was tasty but I can't justify paying so much for a smaller sandwich, it had less meat, basically less everything. The friendly guy making our sandwich told us it would be cheapest to get the giant size and share it so we got the #13, Mike style. It was huge! Plenty of food for the 2 of us. I liked all the different meats and cheeses. The only negatives are that the parking is pretty bad and it does get a lunch rush since there are businesses around.
