Josh and the movers on the day of did a great job communicating with me both via phone and text. My movers were Farkhat and Luis. It took them roughly six hours to move my one bedroom apartment. They were both professional, respectful of my belongings, and both worked diligently to get me moved out of my old place and in to my new place. At my new place my couch did not fit in the elevator or in the stairwell so they personally hauled it up the parking garage five stories! They did it with no complaints and as quick as possible. They gave me an arrival window of 8-10am and said that they would call me that morning to give a more precise time; one of the movers (Josh) called me shortly before 8 and told me exactly when they would get there, 8:20. I cant recall names at this point as I am late to this review. The two guys that helped me were humble and hardworkin. On time (early), polite and professional. I was in a bit of a pinch due to a Father's Day lunch and was nervous about any delays. This was not even close to an issue. If there were any delays it was due to me chatting about some relatable topics. We had plenty of time to spare. Furniture was packaged up nicely and loaded smoothly. I read some "ok" reviews of the moving truck's capacity so I will include everything that fit in their standard sized truck to help if you dont have a keen eye. Yes we'll use these guys again! June found us having to move a bunch of stuff out of our very full storage bin (10 x 10). Josh and Jose were on time. They worked with us to move everything out of our unit. Then what we didn't move they restacked neater and better than before! We ended up with a bunch of extra space. The guys got down to business! Came in with 4 guys. 2 trucks. We requested 1 big truck but they came with 2 smaller trucks which ended up having more room than the 1 big truck. They were friendly. Wrapped all our stuff in blankets and plastic. Disassembled all beds and tv mounted on wall. Brought it to the new house and unloading was even faster. They also assembled everything. This was my first time using movers. Definitely did not want to spend the money. But if you have the extra money it was well worth it. 4 1/2 hours later. Fully moved and all beds assembled. That's it. 3 bedrooms. 2 baths. Garage full of stuff. Moved and assembled in 4 1/2 hrs. Granted we pretty much had everything ready to go but still. On top of that got a military discount. I'm only giving them 3 stars because the guys that came out were very professional. Other than that I would give this company 0 stars. First and foremost when booking your appointment there's never a discussion about how many rooms you have but the questions you answer should give the company an idea of the size truck you need. We asked for 3 movers and was very open with how many large appliances/furniture items we had which would have indicated we needed a large size truck. Yet the company sent over a truck for a 1 bedroom which I quickly pointed out when the movers arrived to which they replied, "no worries, we'll take care of it." Well it turns out they couldn't take care because after loading and unloading certain large appliances on their small truck they came to the conclusion that we would have to make a second trip and that I would have to pay for this second trip. Needless to say I was livid and decided to call the owner. After a very intense conversation of him trying to convince me of the reason I would have to pay for their mistake. After threatening him about reporting him to the BBB he agreed to pay for the additional trip. This was my first and probably my last experience with using a moving company. It took all day and it was such a horrible experience, and was so expensive, I may never use a moving company ever again. Well certainly not this one. read more
