We went on a Saturday around 1pm We waited about 10 minutes to get seated. Even though it's relatively very empty. Was very nice. We got service 12. I think this is better than going to Applebee's or TGI Fridays. But it's nothing fancy. The cheese fries are definitely an 11 out of 10 they were so delicious! And they have really good ranch. I will go back just for that. The rolls are also really good nine out of 10. We got the Louisiana for rack of ribs. They were OK good amount of meat on them and they will fall off the bone so I would say maybe a 7.3 out of 10 the size however we're missing a lot of flavor the garlic rash potatoes, taste kind of sour. My friend and I were looking for a place to catch up after not having seen each other for some years. This was close to our location and I hadn't been here in quite awhile. When I got there, my friend was already seated. We practically had the whole place to ourselves (there were a few people who came to get take-out orders) as it was a Tuesday morning and the lunch crowd hadn't come in yet, I guess. The restaurant is located in a plaza with a bunch of other shops and restaurants. There is plenty of parking around the restaurant, and if that gets packed - there's much more parking farther out. I've been here a few times where parking was farther away, but not a big deal. The service was wonderful - we were give space to catch up without constant interruptions, but got what we needed right away. Our waitress made sure to check up on us every so often to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We both enjoyed our meals - I especially loved my baked sweet potato. I had plenty to take home at the end of our meal. I forgot to ask for peanuts - I'll have to remember that for next time. read more

It's got that big box roadhouse diner feel to it, large portions of comfort favorites. Went in for an early dinner after seeing a movie in the town center. I've been in the industry for over 15 years and I don't leave bad reviews because, I get it. But this was bad. The "Texas egg rolls" were all cheese. I swear I saw there was protein in them somewhere, but I realized that was my mistake and took the L. The rolls taste like they're frozen and then baked. The mesquite shrimp was flavorless, so was the rice, Mac n cheese was terrible and tasted like it was made with velveeta. The broccoli also tasted like it was frozen. Tasted like a TV dinner my poor parent used to give me growing up, but those were better. First time trying out Road house and I was a little disappointed, went there and wanted the pork chops just to find out that they had ran out, so I opted for the New York strip which was pretty good with mashed potatoes. For appetizers I had the potato wedges that were a little on the burnt side had to send them back. Overall customer was great and I'm willing to give them another shot. read more

The cutest vibes as soon as you walk in: the walls have fun tidbits and it just makes you feel like you're at your grandmas house, familiar and welcoming. I ordered the BLT (LOADED with bacon, so much that it was spilling out), Mesquite Grilled Shrimp (I now realized I over ordered but had no regrets), and the most delicious Blackberry margarita. I didn't get the name but it's been one of my favorite mixed drinks I've ever had. Our server kept accommodating my every request, as if we were his only table. Even better on its board it says "get $10 off your order of you sign up for their app" We get seated and it's empty-Ish but still wanted to give it a shot. We order the app sampler and waters. Apps come quickly and eh they were okay. Nothing seemed freshly made but still edible. Their egg roll rendition was nothing more than cream cheese and I guess bits of chicken We order our entrees. I order the Roadhouse club. This is where it goes all downhill LOL. They bring our entrees and the server (not the waitress she was fine) spills all my fries on me. I have oil and salt and buts of fry all over my right side. He apologized and said he'd reorder them. So I start on my club thinking the fries would come quickly. The club IIRC should be on toast bread. It wasn't. The bread seemed warmed. The bacon was non existent the cheese should have been warmed but no. My fries? Came after I was done. Our waitress came I explained what happened and instead of maybe comping my meal or offering a discount etc she only apologized and asked if I was fine. I said no but left it as it wasn't her fault. The second one came out very well done. Showed it to the manager, she said oh no, that's not right. Sent it back again. I am going to try and be as kind as possible, but the place has fallen..... A LOT!! Used to come here a lot in HS, it was not a budget steak restaurant but it also was not fine dining. What I mean by that is that when she did come by she was nice, but that was few and far between throughout the meal we waited about 25 minutes to get the check, after asking for it. Her being nice I guess was the only positive part about this experience. The food: we ordered the original eggrolls, 6 ounce steak, a burger and a chicken sandwich. The eggrolls were good and probably the best food we had there. The burger was mediocre, the mushrooms on it were not seasoned well. steak was good, wasn't great but good. It was also a hair in our baked potato. they corrected it fairly quickly, but it still was there. But chicken sandwich was just a disaster. I just experienced one of the worst experiences I ever had eating out. My husband and I have been to roadhouse before but never experienced service like this. Our server was A. ( I'll keep the name private) and he was quick and short upon greeting us. I ordered a house salad it and when he brought he basically toasted it across my way. The salad plate itself did not even look like it was clean. It had bacon bits on top which I was never asked if I wanted. We ordered our food and that was also abrupt. Luckily he didn't bring our food out because he might have tossed that too. It seemed like we weren't the only people who were not happy with A. I kept seeing people faces after he took their order. A. asked us if everything came out alright and as he was asking he was walking away as though he really didn't care. When we were finished he didn't ask if we enjoyed the meal only if we were interested in "sweets". We said no thank you. This used to be my go to place for so many years, all the employees are so nice and good food, sadly, they keep changing their menu and prices like they don't know what to charge anymore, you had a choice on the size/portion of prime rib you want and the menu told you this much for that size, now they only offer one size/cut and are doing the "market price" thing so we can never know what that'll be, I never get anything that says "market price", just tell me how much not what you claim the price is. Well first sign that a restaurant is not worth visiting is when the place is empty, service was not at its best and the place was as bland and tasteless as the food. Great service, mediocre food during a slow time of day. Locally owned restaurants are able to close between lunch and dinner, to optimize on staff allocation and food preparation (i.e. it tastes better when fresh). National chains can not, so very convenient if needing to eat dinner during offhours, but have to recognize that service won't be so good. We had an early movie at the nearby Regal Cinemas on a Tuesday early evening, so decided to stop by here for the first time around 3:45pm, hoping that it would be similar to Texas Roadhouse or a Longhorns (both of which we like very much). Figured the service might lack a bit, but by staying with classics (meat dishes), we could get a good meal. The restaurant was empty when we walked in (including the hostess stand). Once we got someone's attention, we were prompty seated. The music being played loudly is eclectic: everything from 70's country rock (CCR) to 80's rockabilly (Stray Cats). There was another couple already seated, but the place is very large so didn't realize this until we got closer. The hostess was also our server, and she was accountable for all front-of-house tasks until the dinner hour. So we steeled ourselves for a rough service experience...but it ended up being one of the better service encounters we've had. In terms of food, I would rate it closer to Denny's more than its competitors like Outback or Longhorn. We got the Top Sirloin 9oz ($22.99), medium. It was expertly cooked to medium over an open flame, but the steak itself was very chewey, gristly throughout. It tasted OK once I doused it with A1, but the meat itself wasn't very good...definitely two levels below what you can get at Outback/Longhorn. In fact, the AYCE steak at Golden Corral is far superior. It came with two sides: Mac and Cheeze (forgettable) and steamed broccoli (plenty given of the from-frozen variety). We also got the Pulled Pork sandwich ($14.99), and it was OK: plenty of tender meat on a soft, pillowy bun and the right amount of BBQ sauce. We asked for the cole slaw topping on the side: it was crisp but not particularly tangy. The fries that came with it was good in the beginning, but became strangely soggy. Still ate it all up by using a lot of ketchup. So the quantity and value were great, the quality was not....just reminded me that everything had been prepared from frozen and that we were eating at a slow time for the restaurant. Elia was great througout. The water glasses were gigantic, but she still kept them full throughout. We got complementary hot rolls with butter. By the time we left, there were 4 other tables seated and we noticed that she kept all of them in sync throughout, each with a smile and genuine helpful attitude. They have tableside tablets where you can pay, so it's quick. We wanted to bring the bread home (waste-not) so asked for a box..instead, she brought back 4 freshly baked rolls without us asking.
