There's no other way to describe it. from being greeted at the door by the general manager, Gregory, to being served throughout the evening by our wonderful, helpful and so friendly server named, the entire evening got off to a fantastic start. The ambience is a 10/10, a romantic view of the water and a jazz band playing in the background; so lovely! The servers were attentive and informative of the menu. I chose the New York strip steak with the peppercorn crust which was recommended by the server. I enjoyed it, but a little bit on the saltier side for me if I had to critique.The lobster bisque was delicious. I would definitely order that again. My boyfriend got the lobster Pappardelle, and the lobster mac & cheese! He loved them both, but he definitely had leftovers to take home. This restaurant's ambiance and food was amazing but the service was disgraceful. My friend and I went for dinner Saturday evening May 2nd 2026. They sat us in a corner on the second level by the kitchen far away from the entertainment .Once the waitress arrived she seemed aggressive and uneasy. We asked about Lamb Chops. She stated " I hate lamb , you can't ask me anything about that because I don't know". Then when we ordered our Side Cars she stated "the cheapest cognac is Hennessy and that's what they make them with but I know you two are ok with that" (I must admit the drinks were good) But everything seemed very Racist. Once I was done with my two lobster tails and spinach , she said " dang Girl you ate all your food huh." And to top it off we spent over $300 and when I paid the bill (physically handing her my card). After running the card she placed the bill I n front of my friend who did not pay. Wine pairing is extra. Heirloom tomato salad- elegant salad. Tasted delicious. Tater tots with caviar- unique dish with a little caviar. The caviar was very strong and best with tater tots. Home made tater tots looked cool but tastes like regular tots. Dungeness crab cocktail- fresh crab. Light, sweet tasting crab. Oysters- super refreshing, tasty. The cocktail am sauce was a little sweet and not too tart Ribeye steak- medium rare cooked perfectly. Lots of flavor. Tasty. 28 day aged rib eye- also cooke perfectly. I found the meat taste more strong than regular. A little dryer. Desert Apple bread pudding with ice cream- I would pass on this dish. Sugar cake with ice cream- this is delicious desert. We celebrated our 5th year wedding anniversary at Queensview Steakhouse. It was absolutely perfect!!! We got a table with the Queen Mary view. At first we didn't get the table with the view but once it cleared out they moved us to it we really appreciated that. The whole staff was so attentive and caring! Our waiter Newman did amazing. I showed up excited and happy, I left devastated and disappointed. I came here because my friend had an amazing experience with his girlfriend for their anniversary. With him, the staff was attentive, welcoming, and happily acknowledged that it was their anniversary and they received complimentary desert. With me and my lady, everything that could've went wrong, went wrong. I called in advance to make sure I'd be seated at Queensview, when I arrived I was seated downstairs (which was a different restaurant with different menu options). Then, we weren't attended to until another 20 minutes when I asked a busser to ask for somebody. We talk about the situation and he claims he could only seat us at the bar upstairs because there were no tables available. Once we're upstairs (there are multiple tables available but I assumed a big party was coming and didn't say anything) I respectfully asked the bartender if we could be seated at a table and sits us nearby so now I'm confused but go along with it all. She kindly served us and we wait for our food(it's been an hour until this point). Lobster Mac & cheese was too chewy, too buttery only some bits were good 5/10 Filet mignon was poorly seasoned but with a perfect medium well texture. The steak wasn't good until we added a little salt. 7/10 Truffle fries (on the house because the manager felt awful and I had to ask for them a second time) had the most rancid garlicky smell to it, were visually very oily, they tasted just how they smelled and left a putrid taste in my mouth. We didn't touch the rest or take them home. 3/10 During this time we got a server who was less attentive than our bartender before and poor attitude. The manager apologized multiple times which was nice but I didn't feel like the experience got any better. When the server boxed my lobster mac, he forgot it somewhere and I had to ask for it again before I left. No desert. Poor service, overpriced food, loved the ambiance and live music. read more

Amazing birthday celebration. This was our first time to visit the Queensview Steakhouse for my mother's 75th birthday. We requested a table with a view (which most so) but we had a great table next to the window. There was even a nice Happy Birthday card just for my mom on the table. The manager, Joel, greeted us and gave us some history of the restaurant. Our server, Austin, and all the staff were so professional and made our visit amazing. The sides we ordered were the mac & truffle fries, both great quality & decent portions as well. Also comes with dessert. Highly recommend the Brulee cheesecake. My only small complaint would be with the reservation & seating. We had arrived earlier than some groups on time for the reservation, but since the hostess is located on the first floor, & was apparently in charge of seating people for the first floor restaurant, I suspect she got a little overwhelmed & lost track of us, bringing several people in before us. Only when we flagged her attention again were we brought up to the second floor to the restaurant. Despite this small issue, the food, quality, and service more than makes up for it. My wife and I have been to this place several times, and have brought people and recommended it. We've always had top notch service. The experience starts at the reception desk down stairs. They need to know you're going to Queens View. Once you get upstairs you're greeted by the staff and if it's special day, they acknowledge it. We have tried almost everything on the menu. The servers are very knowledgeable about their menu and its preparation. They are also good about suggesting items. Their warm bread and pecan butter is incredible. Drinks are super good and the bar tender is a funny guy. The food has always been excellent. The view is amazing and the person playing the piano is super good, and adds to the experience. The difference between Queens View and other places is that they apply a team effort. You have your server, but the rest of the staff makes sure you have everything you need. I can't say enough about this place and how special they have made us feel each and every time we've gone. I've read some of the negative reviews and am shocked, because I just can't believe that happened at a place that we have always viewed as a total experience. Happy eating! read more
