    The night view, spectacular

So first time here, very nice place. The food was very good. I will say I asked for the steak medium it arrived medium rare. So couldn't finish the steak it was grossing me out. Besides that everything else was awesome. The view, the music, the whole atmosphere was great. I will say the AC must not have been working that day cause it was hot up there.

First time here and in LOVE! Happily it was a quiet Sunday night so the restaurant was relaxed. It is stunning, the third floor of the lighthouse is beautiful with amazing views and ambiance. There was a piano player who took our request for Tiny Dancer too! :) Now, the food was excellent. Literally I have no notes! The service was out of this world! We saw the manager a few times and were served complimentary champagne, beef carpaccio and fried asparagus. Additionally our server, Kaylee was top notch and oh so sweet! I can't wait to have an occasion to come back!

Went here again and this place has turned into our traditional anniversary go to spot our second year in a row coming to celebrate. And it was just as good as it was last year we even had JJ the same server we had last year. The food was amazing as usual had the porter house steak for two with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We had the bacon wrapped dates by recommendation by our server Jj and the did not disappoint. We also shared a Cesar salad and had a butter cake to close it out. The ambiance was perfect during golden hour with the accompaniment of a live jazz style band. This place has hit it out of the park yet again and can't wait to be back again next year to celebrate.

Great place to celebrate our one year anniversary!

If I could give more stars to a dining experience I would! We went to Queensview to celebrate a joint anniversary with our friends and were treated like royalty! (Fitting, with the name!) Parking is a breeze with a large paid lot, and they also validate parking. The venue is gorgeous and sprawling over three floors, with the steakhouse on the top floor. When we were seated (at our gorgeous table overlooking the Queen Mary!) we we delivered a card wishing us a happy anniversary signed by the staff. Our amazing server, Kaylee, came over immediately and greeted us and told us about the menu and walked us through everything. The manger brought us over the beef carpaccio appetizer and it was phenomenal-one of the best I've had in Long Beach. And if you are a bread-seeker like myself you will be pleased here as they offer sourdough and wheat rolls with TWO types of crave-worthy butter; honey and pecan, and it's amazing! Our drinks were served promptly and were perfection. We started with some yummy oysters and then I ordered the twin lobster tails and everyone else opted for steaks. They were all cooked perfectly and the manager and server checked on us to ensure our satisfaction. The sides here are great and large enough to share with a group. You can't skip the gratin potatoes! We also ordered the mushrooms and creamed corn and everything was amazing. There was also a live piano player in this gorgeous establishment who takes requests! I can't say enough about how highly i recommend this place! It's perfect for a special occasion or a romantic date night. Parker's lighthouse is the seafood restaurant downstairs that is a bit less fancy and has outdoor seating and offers great happy hour specials (I love their sushi!) The bathrooms are located on the second floor and are pristine and well-stocked. After you finish your meal make sure to snap some beautiful pics of the Queen Mary and take a stroll around Shoreline Village. Love this place!

Steakhouse located in an old lighthouse in downtown Long Beach. The first two floors are a casual restaurant, but the steakhouse is located on the top floor. The views are absolutely beautiful. The views are of downtown, the harbor, and even the historic Queen Mary ship. I came here for my spouse's 50th birthday. We had a beautiful table and even a signed card from the waitstaff. I started with the wedge salad, which was delicious. For my meal I had the surf and turf sushi roll. The sushi was very good and filling. My spouse had the steak topped with crab meat. He also ordered the onion ring tower, which she could not finish, but said it was really good. There was live music playing, which was a nice touch. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating.

The view is amazing. You have the docks, the village, the Queen Mary. It's just an overall nice atmosphere. One downside was that it was raining and water started coming down from the ceiling and splashed all over me and the table. They moved us to another table and eventually removed the one where we were originally seated, but I didn't like how there was no compensation for that experience. Our dinner was $400 pre-tip. The least they could have done was comped a dessert or a glass of wine. We shared the prime porterhouse for two with the mushrooms and scalloped potatoes. The sides were great, and the steak was flavorful, but it was more medium than medium rare, which is what we requested. The crab cake appetizer was wonderful, as was the bottle of the red blend we had, the old fashioned, and the butter cake. Besides the cook on the meat (which is kind of a big deal), the rest of the meal was delicious.

The food! Steak is the best!

What a beautiful place and immaculate service. The manager and staff did such a great job on making every guest feel so special. If you are thinking of celebrating a special occasion, this is the place. The food is delicious. My friend went here twice in one week. We got the special (Steak and prawns) and split it between 4 adults. Good value and the best steak I had in a really long time.

Had an amazing birthday experience here earlier this year! This has been a long waited review and I absolutely loved Queensview Steakhouse. It's super pricey but I think it was worth it for the one time. I would definitely go back with family or another special occasion. The parking lot at Shoreline Village gets super packed and it took us forever to park. You can get your ticket validated for a discount at whichever restaurant you visit. When we got to Queensview, if I'm not mistaken the first floor is Parker's Lighthouse, their sister restaurant that isn't as pricey? Then you take an elevator to Queensview! Super fortunate to have a front row seat to the harbor and the ocean view. Choosing a steak was the hardest part, it was between the filet mignon and Prime New York Steak. But I had to go with the filet mignon and it was so good. It actually wasn't cooked to perfection because it was very rare when I ordered medium but our waiter did a great job fixing it. I got this with fries on the side instead of mashed potatoes. My girlfriend got the Au Poivre Prime New York Steak and loved it. She loved the crispiness and the pepper seasoning. I tried it and loved it too. The best part was the Cognac cream sauce, had the consistency of a gravy and was so addicting to use on my fries and steak. I would recommend someone to get this sauce easily. On the side we also split the caesar salad without anchovies. It was a great touch and I would order this again to start out our meal. Wish I remembered our servers name but he was just awesome, really made my birthday special, thanks Queensview.

Waiter: Craig Y. - very nice. Food: Miso glazed Chilean Seabass was so delish!!! Drink: Bartenura Moscato Ambiance: like any steakhouse... dim. But lighting on table was good. Live instrumental band was good. Loud enough but Not terribly loud in here... if that makes any sense...

Mother's Day Weekend - Food was great as usual, server was nice and friendly. Manager talked to everyone except us, he looked at us and our table and I guess he decided we weren't worth talking to. This is the only time a manager did not check in on us. Also the price for the meal for 2 on the check was $183 but the menu stated $175. Pretty bummed but enjoyed the food, the views, and the vibe.

Who knew that Parker's lighthouse actually had another restaurant inside of it? It's at the top and it's even more awesome It's thee perfect date place or special occasion especially at night Had a delicious steak and a wonderful view of the queen mary It's excellent service and food

My husband made a reservation for our anniversary. It was a nice place. He requested a window table, but we were seated in the middle of the room. There was opportunities for us to have the window table and we would have waited if the option would have been offered to us. The steak was delicious. The asparagus, and mashed potatoes were also very tasty. The one thing I would not recommend to order is the macaroni and cheese. It was the driest, macaroni and cheese I have ever had (see photo). We pared out steamed with a nice bottle of wine. They have a great selection of wines to choose from. Overall 4/5 stars because the macaroni and cheese was terrible and the seating requested was not honored.

The steakhouse is only on the 3rd floor. The other levels are for the Parker Lighthouse Restaurant. Service was great. We were checked in and taken upstairs and provided our table with menus in hand. There was a small band playing so we got to enjoy some nice dinner tunes while we were seated. We were seated at the window so we enjoyed the sunset and then the bright lights that lit up the area at night. Long Beach is so pretty at night by the water. Chelsea was our waitress but also had 2 others assisting our table. Service was amazing here. Each table seems very happy of the service around us. We brought a bottle of wine to share for dinner. $35 is corkage. Our salads, meals and sides were all great. My steak was cooked perfectly. We had a birthday at our table and were able to enjoy a crème brûlée on the house and a signed card from the staff. Very attentive and we appreciated it.

Training can be a little hectic some times when you're in the service industry and sometimes it can slow service down. Our server Ben was on it. We had the grilled artichoke, chicken piccata, and the cioppino. All very very delightful. During our dining experience I needed to use the restroom. The smell in their bathroom was amazing. Probably one of the best smelling restrooms I had ever. When I was leaving, I politely ask the hostess if she knew what the name of the smell was bc it was so awesome. She wasn't telling me the exact name. She essentially told me the essence. While in the middle of her talking, a female manager aggressively told us that they were not aloud to tell patrons the scent. Hey, I get it, but as a person who was a manager for one of the highest ranking upscale casual dining restaurants, who has worked in 5 star resorts, knowing how to provide kindness to both guests and staff, this manager did not present those skills. This manager was quite frankly disrespectful not only to her staff, but to me. There is a way to handle situations without embarrassing your staff member and making them feel small and showcasing your flex of power to a diner who was about to drop hundreds for a dinner in our volatile economy. This manager did NOT handle this appropriately. Like i said, she was rude, extremely aggressive to respond, and not once smiled and said, "I'm so glad you love it. It's our secret to get you to come back." She did try to say it was a secret, but seriously... with the way she treated her staff.... I think she better focus on hospitality rather than the scent in the bathroom. After this interaction, I actually watched and observed the manager during the remaining time of our dinner. I wanted to see how she interacted with her staff. I wanted to see if she knew how to manage without flexing on her staff bc obviously she doesn't know that words matter and what you say and how you say it can make or break your staff's entire night which can reflect on how they treat their guests. I get this is lengthy over a restroom scent, but as a person who thrives on seeing the beauty in how a management team can make a huge impact on the success of a company, if she's openly rude and aggressive to me and her hostess, how is she with the rest of the staff and guests? Just a little food for thought. I will say, that interaction totally changed my view for the remaining time of our dinner. I truly hope that the female manager who was working last night June 1 reads this and changes the way she handles situations. From what I saw and experienced, she needs to take a step back and regroup. She needs to be retrained on how to treat her staff, how to smile with kindness, and how to kindly make a joke about the scent kindly with laughter rather than an attack on her staff. To the hostess: I'm sorry you had to be treated that way. You were incredibly kind from upon greeting us even to the very end. You're awesome. I'll return back, but I do hope next time, the manager from last night is on a better wave length as the people who help create her position. There are a lot of great managers out there willing to take that place.

I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! The final item ordered was a mushroom pasta with shrimp. The shrimp were fantastic with a light char and perfect flavoring. The pasta was good. It was a bit to spicy for me with the chili oil so I only had a small portion. The inside is simple yet inviting with an open layout. They seemed a bit short staffed, but every one was hustling and honestly we were well taken care of. Sad I won't have another opportunity to try more of the menu, but grateful to squeeze in this visit before they close in about a week.

It's been a while since the last time I've visited for dinner and drinks. This time, we stopped by…read moreSaturday evening with no reservations. It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.

The restaurant was…read morefairly quiet at that hour, so I expected attentive service, unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I ordered the burger and fries. Visually, the burger was impressive and looked exactly like something you'd want to dig into. However, the salt level was overwhelming to the point where I genuinely could not finish it. What made matters worse was that our server was not attentive with refilling our waters, and when you're working through an extremely salty dish, hydration isn't optional. I left the meal feeling dehydrated and honestly a little frustrated. The bright spot of the visit was the Brussels sprouts, which were genuinely well done and showed some real kitchen care. If I were to return, I'd probably stick to the vegetable sides. For a restaurant with a 4 PM lull and minimal table traffic, there's no excuse for that level of inattentiveness. A simple water refill and a quick check in would have saved the experience. As it stands, the combination of an over salted entrée and absent service made for a tough sell on the value. If you're in the area craving a burger, you might want to save your money and head down the street to Louis Burger instead. Ellie's may shine in other areas; I've heard good things about the pasta, but this particular visit missed the mark.

What we didn't expect, but absolutely loved, was their R&B brunch experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was lively, fun, and full of energy. The music completely elevated the atmosphere. The DJ not only had an incredible voice but truly knew how to engage and hype up the crowd, making the whole experience feel like more than just a meal. The location itself is beautiful with trendy and upscale decor. Very picturesque. As for the food, I ordered the Maui French toast, and it was phenomenal. It is not your typical French toast--it had a crispy churro crust and this unique whipped cream, the flavor and presentation really stood out. Sweet, rich, and perfectly prepared, it's something I've never had before and would absolutely order again. Overall, this was such a pleasant surprise. Great food, great music, great service, and a good vibey brunch experience. I have another trip to Long Beach in June and will be back to enjoy it again. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!
