Sandough was honestly a very standout place compared to the other places/ restaurants around this busy LA area. I thought their concept of sourdough pizza dough + their fillings of choice was very interesting, so I am glad my friend and I went to try it out. This place offers a wide variety of sandwiches, but my friend and I got the Chicken Caesar salad and the Chicken Milanese. I enjoyed both, but I personally would go for the Milanese because the warmth of the dough, the chicken, and the melty cheese tied together very well. I will say, it is a challenge to eat this, but it was fun in a way to bond with my friend as we ventured our way through this sandwich LOL. The inside is quite big, and it's very easy to find seating. I also really enjoy that your sandwich is freshly made.

Sandough puts a spin on sandwiches by using pizza dough. I gotta say I wasn't sure about the idea. Little did I realize that it works. The flavors and condiments in the sandough were perfectly balanced. My picky 20 yr old son said it's the best sandwich he's had and coming from him it's a great compliment. Their menu and options worked out well for us. The strawberry lemonade hit the spot. The interior and exterior had plenty of seating for customers. Service was prompt despite the lunch rush.

This place probably has the potential to be great but it just ain't so at the moment Stopped by with some friends in the evening and only 1-2 tables occupied. They only have ipads to order from so I guess no human interaction is the key thing here. I ordered the chicken caesar sandwich thing and it was nearly $20. I sure hoped this was worth it. We sat outside and at one point a girl came out with two of our four plates but didn't mention anything about the other two, one of which was mine. One of my friends went inside and noticed two plates just sitting on the counter but wasn't sure if it was ours so he let us know and when I went inside, sure enough, my and our other friend's sandwich was sitting there and the staff was just standing around. It's a decent size sandwich thing but that's about it. The bread/dough is pretty soft and bland. The chicken was crispy but dry. And the lettuce on top was crunchy. But there was virtually no caesar dressing flavor and if you served this to me without saying what it was, I would never guess a "caesar" salad sandwich wrap thing. I don't know if their goal is for aesthetics and tik tok looks but even then, the sandwich didn't really have that appealing factor just by looking at it - a dough of sorts topped with chicken and a pile of lettuce on top.

My oldest and I stopped into Sandough today after leaving the Hollywood Bowl box office. It's only a couple of miles away, so it was the perfect lunch stop. We were lucky enough to have Shana take care of us, and she was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and she gave me spot‑on advice to order the Chicken Milanese. The Chicken Milanese was amazing. Perfectly flat, beautifully breaded, crispy on the outside and moist inside, with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. My oldest went with the Meatball Sandough, which is usually my go‑to since I love meatballs. She was thrilled with it. The pizza crust bread did fall apart a bit, but she didn't mind. She used the two halves like pita bread and made it work. We both agreed the sauce was a little thin and we prefer a chunkier sauce, but it didn't take away from how good everything tasted. The dining room is great. Plenty of space, a relaxed vibe, and everyone around us looked genuinely happy eating their sandoughs, which you can tell are made with care by the kitchen team. Chairs and seats are comfortable, and they even have lighting at each table that gives you perfect Insta or Yelp photo lighting. Drink options are solid too. I had a Diet Coke, and my oldest had a mango tea. Here's the exact cost breakdown from our visit: * Meatball: $15.00 * Chicken Milanese: $15.00 * Diet Coke: $3.00 * Mango Lemonade: $3.50 * Kettle Sea Salt and Vinegar Chips × 2: $7.00 * Subtotal: $43.50 * Tax (9.5%): $4.13 * Tip: $10.88 * Total: $58.51 We both said we would absolutely come back. I'm already eyeing the Chicken Caesar Sandough for next time. Sandough is a great spot with great people, great food, and a dining room that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal.

I got the chicken Milanese - the flavors were great! If I had to be picky, I would say that the chicken breading is under seasoned and the vodka sauce could use salt. The location is odd, but parking is easy. We ordered on a tablet, but everyone said hello and was friendly. Plenty of seating, no wait. If I had to nitpick, I would mention no one is wearing a hair net. The kitchen wears ball caps, but the cashier has hair down to her waist and was packaging food. Also no one mentioned my food was ready. I happened to check, saw it, and had to go get it myself. Maybe a number system is needed. I would also recommend they stock forks and knives for sharing.

I went here with high hopes because the person who says La dining is a scam said this place wasn't. She looked like she bit into the sandwiches and it looked really good too. I came here to try the chicken Caesar, which was okay. The salad part of it tasted great. The Parmesan tasted great. The bread tasted great. But I don't know. I think the chicken could've tasted a bit better. Then next was the meatball sandwich. The meatballs were really good and blended well with the cheese and the marinara. It went extremely well with the unique bread as well. I think this was really good. But what gets me is this. You can buy a sandwich or a pizza or a pizza sandwich. Am I going to go out of my way to buy a pizza sandwich over a pizza? That makes me think a lot and I don't know if I didn't pick a good enough sandwich from the menu, but I'm not sure if I would pick this over a pizza. I think the sandwiches are great, they do taste really good too and the ingredients and methodology is really nice. But is it worth it over a pizza??? Hmmmmmmmmm. I'll do some more thinking on that. But the ambiance is cool. It's pretty roomy and has a lot of tables. The service you use an iPad, so you don't really get to ask what's good and what isn't. I feel they should have a server take and recommend orders instead. But anyway the place is good so give it a try!

Stopped by Sandough and ordered the Straccetti sandwich with skirt steak, garlic aioli, caramelized red onions, provolone, arugula, and parmesan. The filling itself was delicious. The steak was cooked well, the onions added sweetness, the arugula brought a nice peppery freshness, and overall the flavors worked really well together. My only issue was that the bread-to-filling ratio felt a little off. Most bites were a bit dry because there was so much bread compared to the filling. I would have loved a little more sauce, and maybe a stronger acidic element to brighten everything up. The ingredients were all there, but I just wanted a little more balance. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. One thing to note: these sandwiches are MESSY. Quite a bit of oil leaked out of mine while eating, and my friend's meatball sandwich basically exploded out the other end on the first bite. Not a complaint necessarily, but just don't come expecting a neat, dainty sandwich experience LOL The space itself is cute. I liked the open kitchen concept, and it's an order-at-the-counter, find-a-seat, and wait-for-your-food kind of place. The vibe is casual and low-key, which fits the food perfectly. Also, they have little ring lights at every table for photos, which I found adorable and fun. I want to come back to try the Mortadella next time I'm craving a big sandwich.

    The Parma and Funghi
    Carlo B.

Sandough is such a simple concept that makes you wonder why nobody thought of it sooner--a crispy pizza dough sandwich! We've all folded our pizza before, so turning it into a sandwich just feels like the natural next step. I absolutely loved the creativity behind it. We ordered the Funghi, which was loaded with mushrooms and cheese, and it was easily my favorite. The bread was incredible--crispy on the outside with a soft, airy interior. The slight char from the crust added so much flavor and gave every bite that perfect wood-fired taste. Combined with the savory mushrooms and melted cheese, it was seriously delicious. We also tried The Parma, which had some type of bologna, cheese, and pistachios. For me, it was good, but my friend thought it was the best thing we ordered. That's one of the fun things about food--everyone's taste buds are different, and somehow we still manage to stay friends! The sandwiches are surprisingly filling, and I found myself full much quicker than expected. After trying these two, I'm already curious about the rest of the menu and want to work my way through all the flavors they offer. Great concept, great execution, and great bread. I'll definitely be back.

LA's first pizza dough sandwiches did NOT DISAPPOINT! Such a fun concept that I loved, and TikTok did not disappoint! You have to try for yourself if you love pizza and sandwiches hahaha I kept seeing this restaurant's sandwiches ALL over my feed on both IG and TikTok and I just had to try! Parking is either street or the adjacent neighborhood, I recommend the neighborhood and walking down to the restaurant (just a 5 min walk)! There was a line out the door on Memorial Day Monday, but it went pretty fast, and my partner and I got our food in about 15 minutes. What really caught my attention was the Vestaboard they used to display customer names for the orders - it caught mine and so many others' attention as it was so unique and fun lol. I didn't get the name of the girls working the counter but they were so sweet and took our order efficiently. FOOD: -Meatball Sandough -Chicken Milanese Sandough DRINKS: -Mango Lemonade The pizza dough works so well with the sandwiches - idk how to describe it other than it just works lol. I absolutely loved the chicken cutlet in my chicken milanese sandwich, and the meatballs were so filling and huge in the meatball sandwich!

This was my first time trying Sandough, and I actually got it delivered by Uber Eats. I was pleasantly surprised by the cute packaging, and they even included a little keychain! The food itself was also very good. I loved the concept of this store, and it did not disappoint. The Chicken Milanese is like if you had a chicken Parmesan on a pizza, and the Chicken Caesar is actually really good Caesar salad in pizza form. I would've liked the chicken itself to have been seasoned a little more, but the rest of the toppings definitely carry the sandwiches. Overall, would get again whenever I have a craving for this!

    Mortadella
    Jessica G.

The name perfectly represents what they serve, sandwich with pizza dough. Frankly that's genius out of the box idea, who won't fancy eating pizza in a handheld form, and most importantly their offerings of toppings are pretty rich and highly varied. It's a big dining space with a nice patio at the back. The iconic board on top of the order point will display your name once your dining order is ready. We got 1 of each their hot and cold sandough selections. We opted for Mortadella from the cold one, which featured straciatella cheese and pistachio bits, making luscious trio with the protein. The hot Straccetti deserved a chef-kiss, melted provolone paired to juicy and flavorful skirt steak. Oofff SO SO GOOD AND TASTY, certainly have to be on your top list if you're a first timer here.

    Chicken Caesar
    Jessica P.

We got the chicken Caesar to share and it did not disappoint. I think this is probably their best item on the menu. The chicken is juicy with a nice crunch to it. The salad is yummy. I think they use spring mix for their salad and add Caesar dressing and shredded parm. I wish they added a bit more dressing because the only downside of the sandwich was the bread. It was tough and a little dry. With that being said, I would come back to try a cold sandwich.

The husband ordered the Parma. He said the ingredient ratio was spot on and the sandwich was fresh and tasty. I ordered the meatball. The meatballs were perfectly blended and seasoned. The sauce was bold, flavorful, and topped with a v generous portion of melted mozzarella. The pizza dough itself is chewy and nicely baked. Not sure if it lives up to the viral craze, but a solid, memorable sandwich.

The restaurant is billed as French-Vietnamese and previously offered pho and related fare but did not have these options on our visit. Our family came on a Saturday evening after an afternoon in the mall. I got the Ahi Tuna burger ($18), a substantial slab of Ahi Tuna steak on a bun with a wasabi mayo and paired with perfectly crispy, well salted frites ($5). We also got the French lobster roll ($26) a decent, but not groundbreaking, sandwich with a spicy sauce. One of our children got the tomato soup ($10) which was phenomenal - creamy and tomatoey - and paired well with grilled cheese. The cafe was clean and positioned with a great view; service was good too, with the waitress making suggestions and accommodating our children's special requests. Prices, as listed above, were excellent for the quality and quantity of food provided in an otherwise quite expensive area. More Parisien then Indochine, Nicholas deserves the unusually high rating it commands for the area. If you're in the Beverly Center and looking for a quality, high-value meal, Nicholas est la meilleur choix. Magnifique! Food: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Value: 5/5

Yes, I know, we all wanna be skinny like those beautiful French girls... ;) But Sometimes.... You've gotta just ignore social norms and say F it! F is for French! lol Yeah, sometimes you've gotta just exclaim: "I'm gettin' the Burger and I'm most DEFINITELY getting the Fries!" And nobody and I mean Nobody is going to stop me! Yeah, that was me and my mindset when I was out at the Beverly Center back in August. Hey! It was lunch. I was hungry. & Nicolas Eatery was there to handle all my needs. And just like Napoleon Bonaparte would have done... I strolled in, I walked straight to the bar top, sat down, placed my napkin in my lap, ordered a burger, a side of fries and of course L.A's FINEST tap water. And just like that, instead of following trends... I was setting them! So what did I get you ask?? Le Beverly Burger of course!! This alongside their perfectly fried French fries which you know I dipped in Ketchup... Yes, I know, so American of me! =) Sadly, my only mistake I made on this day... I should have ordered my favorite French Beer, 1664 Kronenbourg.... Damn! But Lance, this Mall is so crazy, where the heck do I go?? Nicolas Eatery is located on Level 6, or "six" in French (Fun Fact: spelled the same, sounds totally different) and trust, my French is No Good! If you're able to snag a window seat, you will get a clear view of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign in the distance. Of course I went with the Burger, but trust, this place has more than just French Fries. -French Baguette with Butter -French Onion Soup -French Omelette But if want to drink like the French do... FOOD Bubble Waffle with Pistachio Gelato (5.5/5): Omg! I didn't know they have egg waffle here as well. It's a classic Hong Kong street food that I grew up with, you don't really see it around. The egg waffle is tasty, it doesn't taste bland and not overly seasoned (it has the egg custard-y taste, not too sweet), and it has a light crisp outside. I had a gelato to pair with it. The pistachio flavor is yummy, it has chopped pistachio nuts inside so the texture is rich. If you have a sweet tooth, pair it with a scoop of gelato, they compliment each other well. *finish the gelato first so it doesn't make the egg waffle loose it's crisp Pastrami Brisket Sandwich (5/5): They recommended me the Pastrami Brisket Sandwich and the prosciutto one, I haven't had lunch so I went with the pastrami- it was good. The bread is pretty soft and it's decently portioned, you could share the sandwich. It's a simple sandwich that's healthy and flavourful, you don't feel heavy after eating it. I like that it's not messy to eat (not overly saucey)! They hold the fillings with the little wooden sticks. AMBIENCE Sitting is spacious and clean, it's at the corner of the mall so it's not too crowded. There is enough space to put your shopping bags if you're trying to grab a quick bite around. Service is quite decent, the staff recommended the right stuff. It didn't take a long time for the food to be ready, good for grab and go. OVERALL I think it's a casual spot that serves healthy quick bites, it's a good option to sit down after or in between a shopping spree. It's not loud so you could definitely hold conversations here.

The cashier really needs to work on her customer service ( female : slender built colored eyes -…read moredidn't pay attention to her name - just her bad attitude) At first I thought maybe she was just having a bad interaction with me, but after standing there for a few minutes, I noticed she treated almost everyone the same way. I get it.... we all have bad days, and maybe this is just a job for her right now. But customer service is customer service. It doesn't matter if you're working at a small coffee shop inside the Beverly Hills mall or at Tiffany & Co...people want to feel welcomed. She's young and seems like she has a lot of potential, but she comes across as unfriendly and uninterested. A simple smile, greeting, or even a warmer attitude would completely change the experience. I hope management gives her a little coaching because it would make a big difference. I won't return.
