I went to Tom Bell to check out a Traverse and the salesman was very helpful. He showed me all the features in the car and gave me (what I thought was good advice at the time) information on Mountain View Chevrolet. I told them I'll return when I make a decision on which vehicle I wanted. I called the next day and told them I was interested in the vehicle and made an appointment. I ended up meeting with James/Jim. Had me test drive the car again and then started working on the numbers. Once he submitted it to the finance office I had to leave, but told them I will return. They told me to give them 24 hrs because they were waiting on 2 banks who didn't respond. After that I stopped hearing from them after multiple attempts trying to get ahold of James/Jim and the other salesmen I worked with. Great dealership!! Bought a beautiful truck from them a few months ago. Had some problems with it after taking it home. I complained about it on here and the very next day the sales managers all reached out to me asking how they could correct the issue. Unfortunately I live out in the desert and had taken my truck to a dealership out there. That dealership fix the issues and took care of some other issues all under warranty. I paid a small price out of pocket. Mr. Rogers made sure to take care of me and reimburse me for the cost of the repair. I picked up my truck two days later, work conflicts, and am stoked on my new truck once again. Mr. Rogers took care of me and made everything good to go! Bought car in 2013 and service department needs to get their act together. Need to better communicate with Service writer to customer. I gave customer service number to call but never got call after I gave them current number. Waited over hour and half to get shuttle to be picked up and finally called Yellow Cab. I put a deposit on the 2014 corvett before it got to thier showroom, and they found another buyer who was willing to pay more, so they tried every single way to let me back away from the deal and they turnred to be very rude and return my deposit after i signed the contract. I said I wanted to see the truck first before i signed a contract. I have this sinking feeling in my gut that I made a huge mistake in buying a used truck from these guys. By the end of today, I'll know if I'm even going to keep this vehicle. I do not believe I'm getting a great deal by them "meeting me at $1000" for a fix of an oil leak they said the solved the day I bought the truck. Waiting for service dept to call me back..... Just got a call back and they have no better news. I'm taking my service issues to Aamco. DO NOT GET REPAIRS HERE! Way over priced and the service dept seems like they just want to rush you in and out to move on. Also, I wandered into the service bay to get my bluetooth from my truck and 3 mechanics where huddled around a shop computer laughing at a YouTube video. Are they really busy? After reviewing what I can cut down on my expenses especially now that I'm a new homeowner, I finally decided I have to get a lower payment on my car. I got a car back in 2013 when I was trying to establish my credit and of course my payments were high, it did help bump up my score so this year I was finally able to buy a house but the payments remained the same so I made a few phone calls and decided to go with Tom Bell Chevrolet. I got exactly what I wanted in terms of how much payments I want to be at, I actually got a nicer and newer car mine was a 2014 and now I got a 2015 with only 24k miles and very gas efficient that we can use when we need to commute far. Kofi Benson the finance manager was awesome and made sure the transaction ran smoothly so I was in and out the dealership in no time, I think this was the fastest transaction I've ever been to. I went to this stealership to have my 2019 car diagnosed due to an unusual soot coming out of the exhaust and it's especially concerning because I bought the car brand new. When I told the service adviser about my concerns, she kinda brushed it off and instead tried to upsell me with a $59 (more if I want the tires rotated) oil change. She told me in order for them to pinpoint the exact problem is by oil change! Normally, a competent shop would run diagnostic tests and a compression test to find out what's causing the soot. I have owned several cars for the past 30+ years and they treated me as if I have never owned one before. The service adviser seems like she doesn't really know what she's talking about except sell you services you don't need. This stealership's only concern is how to make money and they should know better not to fleece customers especially during this pandemic where people are trying to make ends meet. I would definitely not coming back to them after this encounter. It was a total waste of my time! read more

I have been to many dealerships in my life and I have bought three vehicles in the last 3 years. I recently dealt with three Ram dealerships looking for my new truck this time. I saw that Tom Bell had one in stock that I was interested in and over the phone, I connected with Jose in sales. He was very helpful, answering all of my questions, and NOT giving me the hard sale. We agreed on terms and I drove the 1+ hour to finalize the deal. Jose had a family emergency and when I arrived, Andrew picked up right where he left off. Andrew was very professional and friendly. He answered all of my questions and was great to work with. I also worked with Charlie (Sales Manager), Stephen (Sales Manager), and Simone in Finance. I was absolutely floored by the professionalism, courtesy, friendliness, product knowledge, and flexibility everybody showed. At the end of the day, we all want to pay less for more. I drove over an hour and probably passed a dozen other dealerships because Tom Bell had the best deal on a new Ram 3500 dually truck while also offering more for my trade than the other dealerships I contacted. All the interactions described above was a bonus. I will undoubtedly return to Tom Bell for my future vehicle purchases and recommend them to anybody I meet looking or a new vehicle. read more

My wife took vehicle in for a smog i told her decline the multi point inspection since i have been a technician all my life and do all the maint. on her vehicle although the right rear tire was low had like 20 lbs in a suburban. and did want the EPA required tire pressures checked and adjusted she got home truck washed smogged , but the EPA mandated tire pressure check was not done just said completed . when i worked i would put the tire pressures on the repair order on the correction line i ended up purchasing 4 new tires because they wanted close to $800.00 i got same goodyear tires installed in calimesa for about $225.00 less. when i told Josh he said G.M. would have paid the difference for a price match that i did non know . at least air up the right rear tire that was almost flat .otherwise always had great service. read more

So... it's day 22, and I still haven't seen evidence that my vehicle hasn't, in fact, been sold for parts and is now a part of several vehicles just driving around town. I did get some cryptic, bipolar messages from service stating no it wasn't covered, yes it was covered, maybe part of it was covered, and then I think they just straight up lost my warranty adjuster off the face of the planet for about five days there, because they couldn't tell me if he'd been out or not, let alone if he'd approved the work or not. I heard rumors that my vehicle would possibly be done on Wednesday (yesterday), but it's Thursday evening and it's still not ready, so that must've just been a bad Ouiji board reading. ‍ So seriously, I joke because it's how I deal with stress. But this sucks. I'm a single mom, I've had to borrow a car this whole time because they've been flip flopping on if they were even authorizing a rental car or not, and then I was told they wouldn't pick me up because I was outside their shuttle territory: I'm still making my monthly payments on the car loan, plus the $200 a month payment to the warranty company. Just don't buy a car here. Don't use the service department. Definitely don't buy the extended warranty through Ally. Because they just may keep your car for 22 days, and counting. Ugh. read more

He gave me an unbeatable quote for a brand new 2016 camaro SS. I also spoke with him a few times. He was never pushy, demanding, or rude. He has great customer service skills. He was up front about the car and the price. Only reason I didn't purchase the vehicle is because I ended up getting a completely different car (mitsubishi EVO) that I have been wanting since I was a teenager. Second time bringing my equinox in for its scheduled oil change and most likely the last. Every time I come here it's literally the LONGEST wait for an appointment!! Put it this way I was here for my 8;30 appointment and it's 9:20 and they JUST took my car back- not happy. I have my two kids with me and it's just ridiculous. And I have to wonder why I'm now paying almost $70 for when last time was $50 for the same exact service?? We inquired about a truck we were looking for with a certain monthly price range. We were from out of town and asked if they really had something to match what we were looking for. They said yes and for us to go in. We were bummed they first said they could "work with us" to match what we wanted. If they really couldn't it would have been nice to tell us before making us go in. We'd rather you tell us the truth instead of us wasting your time and ours! So we left and decided to go online just to see the used inventory....and what do we find?... the same truck they were trying to sell us, but actually priced at a LOWER price! Very,very disappointed waited almost 3 weeks for my car to get warranty work done when we picked up car the job that was to be done and already paid for was never done!! Tom Bell got the over $800.00 for the part, so who has my part and now we are questioning other work that has been done on my car if that was really ever repaired. So again I am carless and I'm hoping it won't be another week before I get my car back. We are questioning the Service center on how qualified the mechanics are or do they just put a bandaid on the repair and the Dealership collects the money from the insurance company for work never done. Now questioning the work done on Transmission if it was really repaired. It also brings up another repair of replacing a water pump then 2 years later our regular mechanic had to replace again. Lets hope they follow through and do the repair that was paid for. read more

The worst place to get your oil changes done. Am here for My 7am appointment and they barely put hands on my car(it's 8:38am) when they told me it was going to take no longer than 45 minutes. Back in 2017 I purchased a chevy sonic. As of now I still have less than 50k miles on it. Since November of 2020 I have had countless issues with the cooling system. I had the water outlet replaced in November and the coolant tank replaced in January. Then about 2 months ago I go to the Chevrolet in Redlands to find out why my coolant won't stop disappearing. They replace my water pump. A few days later, my car needs the water outlet replaced again! And it was over $500 has been no attempt to make up for any inconvenience. read more

Return to facility a week later with original part, the person assisting me says I need the receipt from the purchase. After producing the receipt, I am told that I need the original card that made the purchase. After about 30 minutes, we were told they can't help us because the office manager was not in. read more
