Really bad experience. Went it to get my car serviced for a recall. I called and scheduled a date and i was promised that the parts would be there. Got there at 8am and left my car. They called me back at 12 only to tell me nothing had been done to the car. Furthermore, i was told that they didnt even have the part that was needed to do the recall. It is now the following month and still nothing. All i know is the parts are on backhold. They wasted my time and continue to do so. Called rotolo Chevrolet and they litterally scheduled me an appointment for the next day while confirming they had the parts. Very inconvenient. Will not be returning nor recommending anyone go to that dealer. read more

Josh in Service was the most disrespectful and arrogant person I've ever dealt with. He assumed I could not afford the cost of our repairs when my issue had all to do with principle. He said they completed a multi-point inspection that they never did. Then I was told it would be an additional cost of $2,100 after I tried to drive my car home and it overheated again, which was the original reason it was there to begin with. Seems like a big overlook?! On top of the horrible customer service from Josh we purchased a brand new Tahoe the week prior and felt we should have been treated better because if money was ever the real issue we would not be repairing our car at their location and purchasing a new vehicle on top of that. This is a horrible dealership, full of dishonest sales personal. I bought a 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 cash, and I asked for a truck with a tow package, the truck I was shown had everything I asked for and on the phone I was told a difference price in order to get me down there. I am a disabled Veteran with a TBI, and was taken advantage of, and lied to. In the finance office the numbers of the truck changed and all of the sudden I wasn't eligible for all the discounts they originally told me about over the phone making the price of the truck higher. So I had to pick another vehicle. The sales guy was James and he went out and found me another one that would fit what I wanted to pay. At this point it had been about 4 hours, and the manager Steve said the truck had all the same equipment, so I completed to sale paperwork and went out to the truck. The first thing I noticed was that the truck didn't have a tow package, I asked the sales guy why this truck didn't have a tow package installed on it, and he said he didn't realize that if didn't have it. I asked if I could have the package installed on the truck and he assured me that I could have it installed and would possibly discount the parts for the inconvenience. I left the dealership and drove home to look up and order ask the parts for the truck in order to find them at a lower price, since the prices at the dealerships are a lot higher. After doing a lot of research I found out that adding the built-in trailer Brake controller wasn't possible, so now I have to add an external one. So I called the dealership and told them all of this, and they said that they would swap the Truck out for another one. I called back a few days later to get an update and if they found a truck that has the brake controller installed, and at that point they told me they can't swap out my truck and I was basically SOL. I warn anyone that they need to stay away from this dishonest company and go somewhere else. read more

Last when I was there on 12/19/16 it took 3 hours to get a simple oil change. It was ridiculous! The service department couldn't explain what was taking so long and this was with an appointment at 11am not leaving until 2pm from there. It is the second time this has happened. They need to speed up their service times. I was not updated on what was going on while I was there and had to be checked out by another person because the person(Bradley) whom I had an appointment with left for lunch without saying anything. After making an offer on a car we were told we needed to hang around for an hour while the boss considered our offer. We decided to go out to lunch and were told we'd get a call back. After blowing an hour and having not received the promised call back, we returned to the dealership and were told the car had already sold. I came to the Chevy dealership for maintenance first thing this morning and the customer service at this location was AMAZING! I will definitely come again, and refer others when I can. I've been here a couple of other times for things here and there and have never had an issue. I chose to write a review today because there is an employee named Damon who went out of his way to greet me, I wasn't even in close proximity to him. I was in the customer waiting area and he was clear across the room, and greeted me with a huge smile and a good morning! He even made a comment about the frap I was drinking. His bright attitude helped me start my day off on the right foot. I wish more people were like him. You never know what a person is going through, and something as simple as a good morning and a smile can make a world of difference. Daniel B. was another employee who gave me amazing service... Went to the dealership a couple days ago after hearing all the great promotions Chevy is having. I wanted a white Silverado trailboss with the 6.2 V8. They did not have any in stock and were unsure when they would get anymore in. The manager, John, came out and told me they weren't sure when they'd get anymore in and he would love to "cut me a sweet deal" on the grey one they had in stock. Due to covid-19 we decided we would fill out the application and finish everything else on the phone. Went a whole day of them not filling out my paperwork after I called them several times. The next day they began to start my paperwork. After another whole business day they finally got back to me that my paperwork was submitted and approved for the 84 months, zero interest. John refused to talk numbers on the truck until after I was approved. Once I got approved they tried offering me msrp price for the truck after he promised a "sweet deal". He mentioned he'd call me back with another offer but another day has gone by and still no offer. Forget it I'm taking my business to Rotolo Chevrolet. Same deals going on, same trucks, and they seem driven to sell vehicles especially in this difficult time where sales have dropped due to covid-19. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Having had a previously decent sales experience at this dealership with a set of new tires, I decided to return here when a check engine light came on in my Chevy Volt. I dropped the car off and didn't hear anything from the service department for two days before having to call for an update which took another 4 hours, only to be told I had to wait an additional day for a tech to just find out what the error code was. When the service rep called back he told me that in order to diagnose the error code further they were going to have to pull the head cover off of the motor and up front I was looking at a $2500 bill depending on the issue. This was already distressing enough, but to make matters worse he told me they only had one tech capable of dealing with that kind of work and he was going on vacation the following day and wouldn't be back for two weeks. Needless to say I opted to pick up my car. After discussing the error code with an experienced mechanic, he advised that if was probably a dirty sensor that I could easily clean myself using off the shelf chemicals. I spent total an hour accessing the sensor and cleaning it and putting it back together. Within 4 days my check engine light has turned off and everything is back to normal. After having multiple bad experiences and writing a review about it, i figured things might be better. Yet again i dropped my car off this morning. Made it clear i needed it back by 2pm because I'm leaving town. No one called me all day. I call at 2pm to find out they started working on my car without telling me what they were doing and didn't even let me know if its under warranty. So i was told it would be 2 1/2 hours late. This is the only Chevrolet dealership I've ever had these problems from. I would never recommend anyone to bring their vehicle here. I only hope the sales department doesn't have the same major deficiencies that the service department has. I think this dealership has finally lost my business for good. So now ill have to use more gas to drive to another dealership. Hope the gas money will mean a better experience. read more

I went here today 7/7/14 around 1230pm to have my car serviced. I didnt have an appointment so someone said hi, didnt check me in but he took my keys and said someone will be right with me. 20 mins went by and nothing, 30 mims went by and nothing. Almost 40mins of waiting to get checked I got tired of that bs amd left. It wasnt even busy!!!! Im very upset on their customer service! I hope the manager sees this post. I went in and got my routine oil change. The lady called me back after I left and gave me list of $500 worth of things that needed to get fixed. That was fine. Fix what needs to be done. But then my car started leaking in the oil pan. Its time to change my oil again and come to find out, they stripped the bolts. We had to take it to another shop to get the stripped bolts off just to change my oil and filter. Never again. Crappy service. read more

This place is a joke. Sold me a used car that SINCE DAY 1 has been problems..i got the car home and realized oil life was at 13% so they obviously don't check trade ins. Then they have my vehicle for 3 weeks of first 5 weeks i owned it because it needed a new clutch, torque tube and pilot bearing..i got it back after that radiator broke fixed that..few weeks later active handling system broken...keep in mind this is less than 3 months of ownership and close to $10K worth of problems..Now I'm noticing a pressure issue that dates back to when i bought it with pic proof, that none of their techs seemed to notice before, and they want to charge for that..this car has been the definition of a lemon vehicle. They everything they can to make a sale on a used vehicle while knowing NOTHING of that vehicle or its past..they took a trade in, washed it and put a price on it.. No kind of certification process i don't care what they say. I will never deal with these crooks again, not even if they paid me.. Whomever oversees sales dept needs to get thise managers in for some training stat, theyre clueless..I appreciate the help i got from service at times but even that was like beating a dead horse. Went to the service department for a recall issue on my 2011 Camaro. The employees try not to make eye contact with you. When I did finally corner one, he seemed completely annoyed that a customer needed help. The place wasn't even busy. I think I was one of the only customers in the place at the time. I have tried several times to use this dealer for service because it is the closest Chevy dealer to my home. Once again, huge mistake. The worst customer service ever. SO I pull up in my car and there is a cluster of sales people, I unfortunately get the New guy David WRONG I was looking to replace my 5 series BMW with a convertible Camaro, well peeps that did not happen, so the guys takes me out on a test drive, after we had looked inside the car trunk etc. we get down the street and I want to see the top off, well that was horrible this guy had NO idea had to open the top, in fact when the car was telling me to check the turnk and I told him what it said he kept pushing on the roof like it was magically going to open. I stated "This doesn't look good for you guys" and drove the car back to the Lot while driving back David kept telling me he was new. Sorry don't care. If I'm buying a new car you better know how to work the dang thing and I guess instead of standing around in a cluster you should be figuring out how to work things. so we get back he yells to some other idiot on the porch about opening it and this guys says and I quote " Your asking the wrong guy here". Really people, while they where trying to open it another guy on the porch was trying to tell them to check in the trunk as well. because you see if the little case in the back has been closed. (which it had upon us looking back there) the convertible will not open because it has no where to go. ) Dah... so we left. However I did buy a hard top convertible EOS Volkswagen. So i drove for like 2 hours with bad traffic just to find out the car that i really really like was sold over a week ago. Went in during covid trying to trade in my truck. When trying to do the trade in my truck and went in seeing what they can offer. This was my 3rd time going there and ever single time I went there they kept giving me high prices. I dont have the best credit but I was hoping for a better rate and I had money to put down. The Salesperson didn't even offer me rebates or trying to bring the price down for the monthly payment. They wanted me to may $900 to $1000 a month with not even discussing a down payment and the trade in of my truck. The salesperson was very insistent and didnt want to try. He specifically told me that if I used my wifes info that it would be a game changer. Even gave my wifes info and credit to see if it helped was a lie it was still priced at $1000 dollars a month. Not even showing me how much my truck was worth or negotiating numbers with me. The sales person was not helpful and I love Chevrolet and have been a loyal customer, have a history of always buying cares from them. Sadly this specific dealership was not it and don't reccomend it. I originally live in riverside and drove half an hour to come to this place and they were not helpful felt like a waste of my time. After all this i added things up at 1000 dollars a month on a 72 month loan would have been $72000 on a truck and they didnt involve my trade in offer or down payment, it made me very frsutrated how unwillingly they were to make a sale or even input what I was giving them. read more

I had to have a recall performed on my 2015 Volt. I told the Service Rep. it has to be done at a date and time so I can have the car back by 4 PM because I teach classes at 5. We picked a Wed at 1:30 PM. I called twice at 4 PM and there was no response. Suffice to say the Shuttle came to pick me up at 5:15. I had to cancel the class and forfeited $120. I spoke with the Service Manager and told him I will request reimbursement for the forfeited amount. A letter is on its way from the Community College Payroll Department certifying the amount I forfeited. read more

Its bad enough no one answers there phone, but even walking in the phones on the parts counter are ringing off the hook and there are 2 guys in the back room just talking as if they have nothing to do. this car dealer is pretty much a ripoff. 1. they gave me the run around on an alignment that they said was done when the car came to their lot that was never done. 2. the car is now on its second clutch and a transmission issue that started about a month after i bought it which is both ford and the dealers issue because i feel that tom bell new this prior to selling 3. this dealer only gave me one key without telling me the car has a feature that will lock your speed and volume and the only way to fix it is to buy a whole new key that costs $400. 4. the biggest problem i have is i told them i did not want an alarm on the car that cost almost $500 extra. they told me "it has already been activated so you have to take it". also there is no alarm on the car. it does not exist. im paying for something i do not have and they wont do anything about it. advice: 1. do not trust tom bell of redlands and let them bully you into anything. especially if your a 1st time buyer like i was 2. do not buy a ford from a chevy dealer 3. inspect the car thoroughly for everything (my car seats had cigarette wholes that i didnt see until later because he (pete) quickly sat on the passenger seat so i wouldnt see it. im very disappointed in my experience at tom bell cheverolet. i do not recommend. read more

Let me start off by saying I called in the am and made an appointment for a specific vehicle at a specific time. I got a email confirmation and they said if any changes occurred they would email me. I left work early and drove 1 1/2 hours. We were greeted immediately for our appointment. We were excited as when we pulled up the car we wanted was out front and ready. Then the bomb was dropped, it was sold. So we got in our car and drove another 1 1/2 hours. Wasted our time, wasted our night, wasted our gas, wasted some payroll. read more
