    Lunch menu July 2026

Down here helping our daughter get ready for her wedding and we were all hungry for breakfast. We found this gem of a place. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are very hefty. Service is friendly and continuous without being intrusive. I got the international omelette that came with hashbrowns. The omelette was cooked perfectly. Had plenty of ingredients in it including plenty of meat. My daughter got the chorizo burrito and she loved it. My other daughter got the lemon blueberry pancakes, and she ate all of it. My wife got an omelette that was cooked to her liking. We sat outside in the summer morning and enjoyed it. We definitely would come back here if in town and had the time.

We came here twice within a week because the first visit was so good we had to come back. The vibe is very cozy cafe style small seating area, but it fits the atmosphere perfectly. Our first visit was on a Tuesday and we got seated right away. The first thing I noticed was how friendly and attentive the staff was. They kept things moving without making anyone feel rushed. The food came out fast and looked amazing. One of the servers recommended the Hangover Omelet, and it did not disappoint. At one point my pregnant wife accidentally spilled orange juice all over her plate, and what I'm assuming was the manager immediately came over, replaced everything, and made us feel completely comfortable about it. Super welcoming service. We came back the following Monday and it was much busier with a different staff. We had to wait a bit, which was understandable, but the manager that day came across a little cold and seemed bothered that we waited inside instead of outside (we honestly didn't notice any sign). That said, our waitress was fantastic very friendly and attentive. She recommended the weekly special wet breakfast burrito and WOW... it was incredible. Honestly, it should become a permanent menu item because I'd come back just for that. The food here is absolutely worth it and easily 5-star quality. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the experience with the manager on the second visit. I live far from here but if I'm in the area I'll definitely come back.

Service was good, pretty prompt on bringing out their food, the presentation was a little crazy but the food was great! Usually when I come here it's good! I can't complain! And it's a Christian cafe such a plus in this crazy world! Loved the music playing in the background!

This was a neighborhood diner. We chose to eat outside on a beautiful Saturday morning at 11:30 AM. The waitress was absolutely amazing. It was my 1st time eating here. We had a party of 4. The food was good/ not great but good. The breakfast potatoes came out burnt , so we had to send those back. My toast was incorrect. They gave me sourdough instead of white toast. The cinnamon roll was delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. Not sure if we would return ; however, it is a cute spot to go eat outside and enjoy the weather. Side note: (No toilet paper in the restroom) (Plenty of street parking)

Village Cafe on Viking Way is a quaint, classic diner. A place where you know the food is going to be good when you see that table of retired guys over in the corner solving all of the world's problems over breakfast. The California Omelet that had bacon and Ortega chilies and its delicious. The American breakfast with a nice thick slice of ham is also fantastic. Our friendly server recommended a Big County Skillet. We quickly understood why this was a popular order. The gravy came on the side, and it's great to choose how much to use and it's tasty. The Cinnamon Roll is also highly recommended. Expect a crowd, but go get a table, sit down and enjoy. Friendly staff.

This little gem has become our "Sister's Hangout". The decor is constantly beautifully designed. The food is always tasty and on point. And the staff is always great, fast and friendly.

The pancakes here are so light and fluffy and delicious!!! Located in the cutest, quaint downtown area. We were seated quickly in first available outside - but they had space heaters for each table so it was perfect! Our server Olivia was the sweetest and super helpful and attentive. We will be back soon!! Gingerbread chai latte was sooooo tasty! Mimosas and Bloody Marys are super reasonably priced as well!

If you're looking for a breakfast spot that not only serves delicious, healthy food but also treats you like family the moment you walk through the door -- look no further. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with genuine smiles and warm hellos. The staff here remember your name, your favorite order, and even ask how your day is going -- it's like visiting family (the kind that cooks amazing food!). The menu is packed with fresh, wholesome options -- think avocado toast done right, smoothie bowls that taste as good as they look, and hearty scrambles loaded with local veggies. And somehow, they manage to make it all feel indulgent without any guilt. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a neighborhood vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer over your coffee. It's clear the owners care deeply about community, health, and good food -- and it shows in every detail. Whether you're stopping in after a workout, grabbing a bite with friends, or just treating yourself to a solo breakfast date, this place hits the spot every time. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Places like this are rare -- and once you find it, you'll never want to let it go.

Time and time again this place amazes me! I absolutely LOVE The Village Cafe. . Wish I knew about them sooner. Go check out this cute little cafe with great customer service and great food! I promise you won't be disappointed. I will let you know that there just might be a wait when you go, but don't be discouraged... wait patiently for a delicious meal and service with a smile. I love that they are on top of everything. I've never had to wave someone down to ask for a refill nor a togo box.. So go show them some love & thank me later Oh & I can't forget ... if you go on the weekends, the Chile Verde omelette special is out of this world!!!

Great service. Never went without coffee. All staff members were friendly. Went with a Thursday Special, The Fitness Meal. Simple and delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Clean and spacious.

One hour after leaving the Village Cafe, I had to use the restroom. I was denied entrance by the very same server who filled my ice tea.

We had a reservation for six and the hostess greeted us and sat us right away. Our server, Nate, was fantastic. He knew the menu and answered all of our questions. He even explained how some of the drinks were made. Later we found out he was actually one of the bartenders helping out as a server for the night. Which made sense considering how well he knew how the drinks were made. He was attentive and checked on us often to make sure everything was going well. One thing that made him stand out was, he actually conversed with us rather than just asking if we needed anything and then leaving. The Old Fashioned was one of the smoothest and best I've probably ever had. My nephew ordered the Ube Painkiller after Nate described how it was made. I had a sip, and the ube flavor really came through without overpowering the drink and it was perfectly matched with the dark rum, which Nate said came from the Caribbean. The Brussels sprouts had a nice mix of tender and crispy pieces that gave additional texture. The calamari was tender and the pesto style sauce paired real good with it. The Thai curry sea bass was flavorful, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. The cioppino had a rich shellfish flavor in the broth and I appreciated that the tomato base didn't have such an acidic taste. We also shared the tomahawk, which was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had a sprinkle of coarse salt that really brought out the flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent, but Nate's service really made our night special, making us feel right at home.

Upscale Restaurant on 2nd Street with Delicious Food…read more I've visited Saint & Second on multiple occasions: for drinks, a casual lunch, and my birthday dinner. Reservations are fairly easy to get, which make it an optimal choice if I'm looking to have a nice meal. The ambiance of Saint & Second is what sets it apart from other Belmont Shore restaurants. There's indoor seating and rooftop seating upstairs, and both areas are designed impeccably. The food menu changes every few months, which is great because it allows the chefs to experiment with new menu items, but I have been left missing past items. When I returned for the third time for my favorite hummus, I found that it was discontinued for a nice, but less tasty green hummus (which leaned more into an avocado flavor than traditional hummus flavor). Overall, if you'd like to return to Saint and Second, you should expect some changes to menu items every few months and plan accordingly. One appetizer I'd recommend is the tuna on crispy rice. This is a consistent item with great flavors that trump other tuna crispy rice dishes I've had at other restaurants. The amount of fish on this item is generous. If you are celebrating your birthday here like I did, they offer a delcious smores-flavored dessert. However, this dessert is not complimentary, and we were charged without the server informing us of the dessert's price. Overall, in terms of food, this restaurant offers a fresh array of menu items. I believe the server told us that their kitchen is a scratch kitchen, which contributes to the great quality of the food.

They've a waterfront location with the most lush environs and sumptuous atmosphere. Dark & tranquil with a hint of sexy and the bay views - come on now. The menu is so fresh and bursting with Asian flavors, and nothing was too heavy. Do try the hoisin ribs - so tender - and the chicken wraps, which were so bright; the burger was also a hit. For the table, the Buddha Rice - hearty and perfect to split. Their staff was all fantastic and it starts at the top. Manager Joe brings a genuine touch to every guest encounter -- he's rich for conversation, so grab him when he makes his rounds and allow him to suggest a fantastic wine pairing. Beautiful service all around. Also worth noting: while they're perfect for enjoying date night, they can easily accommodate larger groups as well. It may have been a rehearsal dinner or joint bachelor/ette they were hosting, but either way, they were entertaining a large party who were also having a blast. Wonderful energy, great vibes. Ambiance is nice, very romantic by the water, you can see the sunset while enjoying cocktails or a glass of wine. Food was good, I had the miso glazed mahi-mahi, I would prefer a side of salad instead of 2 cups of mashed potato, sauce was a little on the sweet side for my taste. My husband had the Scottish salmon, and he cleaned his plate, the sweet potato hash w/ pancetta was yummy.. it enhanced the taste of the salmon. My sister in-law had the pan seared scallops, I also think that the side should be optional instead of rice and there was only a few pieces of the scallops. My brother his friend had the Wasabi crusted filet mignon, which they've enjoyed but also should have options for the sides, not everyone like mashed potato, the mushrooms was a bit salty, maybe better with shitake & asparagus. We have the calamari and warm fried brie which were delicious :) Maybe they can add the fried tofu as an appetizer instead of brussels, just a suggestion. I've had the Tahitian Sunset which was too sweet for my taste but you can taste the flavor of the passion fruit , the strawberry fields was better, maybe next time I will try the cucumber crush... I will highly recommend this place, you will definite enjoy yourself with a singer/band performing while you enjoy the food.
